Kierra was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond for me. When a solid No came back she didn’t stop there. She explained my situation and really went “to bat” for me. It’s hard to find good employees like her in the world today. Thank you for all of your help and restoring my faith in customer service. You are the best!!

I really enjoyed working with June Palm to check out a possible new home for myself and being given the best tour by the leasing agent, Kierra. She really made me feel heard with my desires for the home I was searching for myself and my cat!! With everything going on in todays world I was able to feel safe with my tours and all the homes were clean and well taken care of. Kierra was a breath of fresh air and fantastic to work with! I cant wait to find my new home!

They have made property ownership from a distance a breeze and we are so thankful as owners to have the June Palms team on our side. They have dealt with a lot from a terrible tenant and we are so thankful to not be doing it ourselves. Their management services are invaluable, especially navigating the challenges that inevitably come with property ownership. We live thousands of miles away from our investment and have never once been worried. June Palms has handled everything every step of the way.

We recently started renting from June Palms and we love it. All the staff is kind and always willing to help with any issue we have encountered. We had a set back on a utility that we thought was switched and Jamie helped us out a immediately! They are very understanding! We even had a dryer malfunction and after trying to fix the issue and it still giving us problems, they went ahead and got us a brand new one! I love living in our new house, and I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a place to rent! Our last landlords were a true nightmare, so living somewhere with people that take care of you is amazing!

Quick Review/Summary: I wanted to like June Palms as the personnel were generally kind; however, their lack of follow through on projects along with little communication caused quite a bit of frustration and excess expenses when renting the home. Although an old home, our utility bill was significantly higher than expected since three broken window panes were never fixed during the year long lease. Many other issues (see below) forced us to leave after the lease ended and suggest to others to refrain from using June Palms.Complete Review:We moved into the property and loved the house; however, there were some maintenance issues that we were informed would be taken care of quickly. Most issues were not dealt with in a timely manner, if at all. Below are a few of the issues we experienced:1. It took a month and a half to get keys to the front door. Not only did we not have the keys, we were told they didnt know who did have them which to me was a big security issue. They finally came and put a new lock in the door after our persistent requests.2. The day we moved in there were three broken window panes in the living room and master bedroom. We asked numerous times for them to fix it including the day we moved in. By December, they said it was too cold to fix and they would wait until spring. When we moved out in July, the window panes were still broken. Our utility bill was outrageous.3. We were told we would have a working garage with a remote. They came and fixed the garage allowing it to open manually, but never replaced the garage door opener.4. It took a week to fix the fridge when it broke. Thankfully, it was during the winter so the snow helped to keep our food cold.5. Two ceiling fans were hanging by the electrical cords. They informed us they would fix them when we moved in. Again, we moved out with the two fans still broken.Maintenance rarely came in the time frame discussed. The time they installed the locks they arrived on a completely different day than scheduled without any communication and it took majority of the day. June Palms also struggles with communication. I often received an apology and explanation that they were short staff members. To me, that was a sign they had too many properties and not enough personnel to properly attend to their current tenants.Although renting, we treat the rental as if it is our own; so thankfully, the security deposit was decently paid back...not enough for me to fight them on it.Unfortunately, I wanted to like June Palms as their personnel are generally very kind in person and on the phone; however, their actions (or rather inaction and disregard for good communication) were louder than their words causing us to never want to rent from them again and warn others about our experience with June Palms. They never went out of their way to help and, in my opinion, did not even accomplish appropriate landlord duties.I hope for all involved that these issues will be addressed and altered so tenants are properly cared for and treated fairly.

Renters beware!!!! Do not rent from them!!!! Wish I could give them zero stars. Put down a $1000 dollar security deposit and owed money when we moved out. They told us they were flexible and willing to end our lease early because we would only be living in the state 10 months but they lie. Never put a work order in, they charge $55 dollars an hour for anything. Charged us for wiping dog hair off the washer glass. Never fixed things in the house that were broke when we moved in. Will cut your grass for $95 without your consent. Will do anything they feel is needed without your consent. Worst mistake my husband and I have ever made is renting with June Palms.

I have never posted a review, but I don’t want this happening to anyone else! I don’t even want to give them one star. We went to look at a duplex June palms had and it seemed perfect. After paying the $70 application fee and the lady asking for copies of our license and pay stubs, we were told that they were raising the rent to over $100 more! She told us she would refund our money for the application fee, it’s now been over a week and we haven’t gotten our money back. They won’t even answer me when I try to get ahold of them! They have completely cheated us out of money, and are honestly just a joke.

DO NOT RENT FROM JUNE PALMS!! Im warning you now! These people are crooks and Jamie in the front office is rude. If you try and dispute a charge with her shell get real mean with you and then just take it out of your security deposit no matter what decision you end up on. Our kitchen drain got plugged up and we called them to fix it; mind you ALL the drains (and appliances, outlets, doors, everything!) in that house were out of date and broken upon move in. After their guy came and fixed it he found out there was a popsicle stick in the drain that was causing it, so he told my husband himself that it wasnt necessarily our fault, any other resident could have done it by mistake, and that he wasnt charging us for it. This isnt a regular open drain by the way, it was a drain with little slots in it. So you would have to intentionally put something like that down there it wouldnt just fall in, which sounds like something a kid would do aka a previous tenant. About 2 weeks later we got a bill for it so I called and told Jamie what happened, she yelled at me on the phone for disputing it and then added $200 to the initial bill. And thats just the beginning of it! Oh and when you move out they will straight up steal your security deposit. They charged us $75 to fix a hinge on the garage door.. When we moved into that house it was DISGUSTING. My husband and I spent a whole week just cleaning it before we moved in, despite the fact that they said they had it professionally cleaned already (there was still dried up food all over the kitchen, stuff on the walls in the hallways, literally a hole in the side of the house by the front door that we got mice because of, and dont even get me started on the carpets). When we moved out we spent about 2 weeks in total cleaning everything right? Tell me why our security deposit was $810 and we only got $135 of it back... THESE PEOPLE ARE UNPROFESSIONAL AND WILL STEAL FROM YOU

Told me I needed a co-signer because I didn’t get approved without one, put $400 to hold the property. Got approved with a co-signer but then my co signer withdrew his application which they can do at anytime. I proceed to try and get my $400 back since I wasn’t approved with one and when I tried to get my money back they said i couldn’t and all of a sudden was approved without one. After trying to charge me $3,000 worth of move in fees. They were extremely contradicting and it was clear it was all about money.

I loved the house but when my husband accepted a new position there was no working with us so we could stay until the end of the school year. They want us out at the end of April. So now we have to put our son in a new school for 20 days. Weve never been late on rent, were not pushy on getting our repairs done fast, and treated the house just like it was our own.

June Palms was a pleasure to deal with! Sure, they made mistakes, but they always owned them and made great effort to correct them.I happened to be in the office one day when a former renter of theirs came in, (a grown man) with his mother, angry because June Palms had charged him for painting and various other items. He was extremely rude to the ladies in the office, calling them names, yelling and insulting them. The office staff handled the situation very professionally. They offered to help me first so that they could speak with him & his mother discreetly, he insisted that he be heard immediately.So... They kindly, but directly explained why he had been charged for the damages (in my opinion, it made sense he would be responsible, I wont go into detail..) and then the man and his mother BOTH verbally attacked the staff in the office!!! Yes, at that point they told him that they would not tolerate his behavior and asked him & his mother to leave or they would contact LPD. Kudos to those young ladies for conducting themselves with such maturity and class!!! I wouldnt have been so gracious.

I came to June Palms with a house I didnt want to sell at the time, and a job that had me living almost 200 miles away. They took great pains to make sure the house stayed in great shape. I think that the folks at June Palms were always very candid and conscientious in communicating about realistic expectations on rent and legal & ethical obligations regarding tenant safety and comfort. At the same time, they work hard to balance appropriate maintenance costs with owners real-world budgetary constraints (Many homeowners are working class folks, trying to make ends meet, and not millionaires living in foreign countries). Mark was very diligent and conscientious, always ensuring the tenants needs were met and keeping the property in sellable condition.

June Palms has a very friendly staff and good manager. The place I rented, which they took over management for after my previous property owner foreclosed, was a pickle for them to handle. The new owner was some unknown company out of California that assigned June Palms to take care of us. It was a difficult situation for all except for that California company (Blue mountain?). Anyway, June Palms did what they could and sent a customer appreciation gift along with our deposit refund. They didnt have to do that. Final thoughts - they are fair and understanding. Not perfect, but who/what company is? I blame the Blue Mountain group for our troubles..can you tell!Brian

So as I jump online to call to make my payment I see a lot of negative reviews. - Didnt fix appliances? Hmmm... They were quick on our end. Didnt paint before you moved in? You should of simply asked and sure they would have. Didnt give you back your deposit when someone who was attached to the lease is still renting? Thats still a deposit and between you two not June Palms... Anyways I love working with this company! Customer service poor???!!! I completely beg to differ on that one! Really they have had one of the best customer services out there & Ive been renting for over 10 years. Jamie & Jennifer are two ladys that are amazing with customer service!!! They dont talk to you like they only await your payment, they conduct themselves as professional individuals who truly care to help & care about you! So anyone who is looking into this company as a potential tenant I urge you to look at the positive reviews over the negative! Their team is amazing & upfront. When we moved in they were upfront about things needing to be fixed & we are still in the process yet they also were able to help my family. They sent a birthday card, a get well soon card when my daughter was hospitalized & truly went out of their way to care I have never received cards from ANY company I rented from except my parents who were landlords and they dont count, as they are family. I give 5 stars all around for this company who honestly works to provide the best customer care, honesty, nice homes & creates relationships with tenants. They remember who you are. Truth is I have only reviewed 2 homes with the most stars on a review and this is 1 out of 2. I urge anyone wondering if they should look into June Palms homes to do just that! Good luck in your journey & God Bless! Thanks again ladys for all you do! You are appreciated! - Melissa Glasson

Terrible experience trying to rent with them. We put everything we had into a place, paid 75$ in app fees all after they told us the issue we had would not effect our ability to get a place. Then the same issue was the reason we were declined and it took them over a week to even mail our our refund check which is stupid also because the off ice is 5 mins away from my house and i could have just picked it up but no it had to be mailed. Unless you are a perfect being its not worth your time trying to rent with these guys

Gave my roommate and I a six month lease when we wanted a year lease. When my roommate signed a new lease for another year for a lower rental price they kept the deposit from our original lease and wont return my half to me even though I dont live there anymore. Told me they didnt have her sign a new lease, they just renewed our old lease even though they made changes to it including lowering the rental price and taking my name off the lease. After our lease ended they tried to get me to sign a form that said I was okay with not getting my deposit back.

June palms has the most unprofessional staff and managers. The manager and contractors and painters have NO. SKILL!!!They will charge you for random things with no description of who did the work how long it took, materials etc.June Palms makes up charges they feel are right with no detailed innvoice of the work . (Wheres the actual boss not little workers)they have little girls who dont act like professionals, who know nothing about a business But are Trying to run it lol. Another massive thing they are open 9-4 Monday thru Friday, which means they dont even work 40 hrs a week EVer!! When the whole staff are wrong about anything theyll yell at you like a teenager then say leave or well call the cops, is all they would do.not solve the problem.. Clearly no wisdom just crooks and want your money.
