I absolutely love this company, we have very unique homes out here and H&M has always delivered great quality service. They help us turn our swamp coolers on and off each season, and it’s been a great company for our units.

Used H&M in the past to service my evaporated cooler and had no issues. However, this year the service could not of been worse. The quality of service was seriously lacking. They didnt really fix the problems I was having, and I had to complete the project myself with help of friends. They also left their trash strewn about, very messy and uncaring. Many other problems as well, but I am not going to give any more time to this. Sorry to say I will NOT be calling on H&M in the future.

On the hottest day of the year were very pleased with the professional check-up that Joe performed on our AC system; particularly the thorough inspection and maintenance of the outdoor condenser unit. Terrific workmanship and customer service at a very reasonable price!

On time, super professional, and a good value for your money, you dont need to worry when working with this team. Recently Jesse Coleman and Joe Hashman installed a new furnace in our home. They were outstanding and it was a massive job. They were responsive, fast, and installed a new highly efficient thermostat. I would highly recommend this company.

I have been using H&M for the last twenty years for my home and rental properties. Their technicians are always professions and do a great job at a fair price. They have excellent emergency response. When my water heater broke one night, they arrived the next day to install a new one, quickly and efficiently.

Tony and Joe arrived right on time and stayed until they knew the furnace was working just right. They didnt stop for lunch and they did a great job. They answered all my questions and made sure I knew everything I needed to know about running the furnace before they left. They cleaned up really well prior to leaving and attended to all COVID rules while in my house. All in all they worked from 8-8. I couldnt have been happier with the outcome.

I have been using H&M for few years. Today the tech told me to use another company because my he can no longer help me. After waiting for one week during a heat wave H&M abandoned me as a long time client . Very disappointing.

I would not recommend using this company. I have a whole house fan that needed a new belt. They messed up the scheduling, their billing is deliberately expensive and the guy didnt even want to do the work.- I scheduled an appointment for one day and they showed up a day early when I wasnt there, then said they had no appointment time for the time I already scheduled, causing me to have to miss some important meetings- When the guy showed up he didnt want to work on it, saying there was no access to the fan, even though you can get to it from underneath. I had to persuade him to even look at it. He hadnt even brought a ladder even though I had said it was a FAN IN THE CEILING.- Their standard practice is to come without any spare parts so youre automatically billed $85 just for them showing up even though I had said it was just a belt.- When they came and installed the belt they charged another $105 labor, so now were at $190 + parts for a five minute job.- They also wanted to charge an additional $45 for being 5 minutes outside the City of Boulder for a grand total of $255. Just for one simple belt.Will never go back.

Great people and great customer service. Arrived at my home and immediately got to work and got the job done the way I wanted it. Everything is working better then it was before they came out! Exceptional job. Will use again in the future fair prices as well.

Connor came out within an hour of me calling H&M about our old, broken water heater, and not only was he able to get us a replacement tank at a good price, he installed it the very same day as well. It was a great experience, he really knows what hes doing, he was very efficient and also very friendly and professional. H&M has exceeded my expectations in every way. I bought an evap cooler from Home Depot (dont ever do this) and had to find an installer, so H&M was recommended. They installed the unit and found that it had a bad capacitor, so I sent it back under warranty. H&M came back and installed the capacitor for a very reasonable price. Then, the electrical connection went bad and I had to get the breaker switch replaced by the electricians who installed that part of the unit. After a couple of weeks, we noticed the unit had leaked into the ceiling below it. With all these problems, I thought it was an installation issue. To their credit, H&M sent out their installation manager, Sal, to look at the unit, the tray below it, etc. at no charge. It wasnt leaking into the tray and he couldnt find the source of the leak, so he said to keep an eye on it. It did continue to leak, so a couple days later Sal came back again and spent several hours taking the unit apart to troubleshoot--for free. They basically saved me $300-400 to see what the issue was, and they were fully willing to take responsibility if it was an installation issue. It turns out Home Depot bought a faulty unit and sold it to me. Sal showed me three issues that caused the leak that were clearly factory defects. He caulked what needed to be caulked and fixed what needed to be fixed, and we have had no problems since. I tried, but they wouldnt charge me for all of Sals maintenence/repairs. Great service--check. Integrity--check. Responsiveness--check. Above and beyond--check. In short, they are excellent.

Needed a propane on demand water heater at my cabin in mountains. Couldnt find anyone who would install for me. Called H&M and they sent a great young guy who installed it and made sure I was all set up. Thanks guys!

The initial woman on the phone was wonderful but the man I was connected to was either having a very bad day or was just being himself. Maybe they are discouraging call ins?

I woke up to a furnace not working. It would turn on and shut off. The furnace is 4 years old. I called HM Mechanical and set up an appointment. They came at the scheduled time and they spend approximately 1 hour at our house. We were charged $85 for the diagnosis visit, then another $71 to clean a dirty flame sensor ($156 total). The flame sensor takes approximately 5 minutes to clean with sandpaper.When I called and questioned the charge, they stated the $71 fee to clean the sensor is the standard rate and its not related to the amount of time to perform the job. Obviously, the technicians dont provide service to justify $800 per hour, so Id say their standard rates dont make sense. An appropriate fee would have been to include the cleaning (or at a very nominal additional cost) with the diagnosis fee, since the diagnosis would have involved pulling the flame sensor out of the unit anyway.I wont be using HM Mechanical again.EDIT 4/15/16: Furnace is not working again this morning. Looks like H&Ms temporary fix lasted all of 2 months before needing another service.

We called H&M Mechanical to come up to our cabin in Eldora. Connor helped fix the flue pipe and offered suggestions about changing the gas line to help reposition the furnace properly to prevent future gas leaks. Amazing customer service. Really good to see family owned business. Will use again!

Did ok job, not as good as I have experienced in the past. I feel they are not as professional as they used to be, based on this experience. I will not use again based on this experience. I feel like they overcharged and did not show up on time or even call. Disappointed over all.

They contractor came to fix the heat, he took his mask off in the middle of my house, was not wearing appreciated mask neither gloves. Just unacceptable.

H&M Mechincal is the best company to work on your Heating and Air Conditioning. I just recently had them replace an aging furnance that needed repair. They came out and did a bid on with some additional suggestions on other components. The bid was reasonable so I had them do the work. The work crew was prompt and explained everything in detail. They also did some additional items without any charges. They cleaned up after every day. It was a joy to have this crew do the work on our home.

We have used H & M for several years, and have always been very happy with their service and knowledgeable techs.

Used these guys to fix a an ac unit that appeared to be working, but wasnt putting out any cold air into the room. Racked up $400 with them replacing my thermostat (really), and coming out twice to fix the problem. Next morning, problem still there. Not impressed.
