My absolute favorite nail salon in Knoxville! I love all the nail techs. You’re not treated as a customer, they act like they’ve known you for years and years. The environment is great and the services are always 10/10⭐️ I’ve never been disappointed in any set of nails I’ve had done, they’ve always went above and beyond on my nails.

My daughter treated me to a pedicure and the person that did my toes was Alex. I have never had someone be so rough with me. He rushed through the whole pedicure and didn’t make it a bit relaxing. He dug his nail in my toes while he was painting my nails. When he was massaging my legs he was digging his nails in my legs to the point I was jumping and he looked at me and laughed. I normally have a great experience at this place but not this time, makes me not even want to go back. He literally scratched my legs up.

I have always had an amazing experience at this nail salon! I can absolutely say I will never go anywhere else. When you walk in you’re greeted with a smiling face and a positive attitude. Morgan has always been so helpful with checking in and out; even helping pick colors. I get my nails done by Nina who is an amazing nail tech with very detailed skill. I also get my lashes done by Debbie who does an absolutely amazing job every time. She takes precaution to make sure my eyes are not glued together/ or burning and stinging. Overall the salon is very sanitary and they all work very efficiently to make sure your wait time is low.

Wonderful reviews and recommended to me so far but I cant wait to see the marble columns and murals on the walls soon!

I enjoy this salon. The staff is friendly and helpful in choosing colors. They make it a happy place for the customers to relax and talk. My nail technician is the best. I love my nails today!! Thanks Debbie

Upon moving did the area two months ago, I must have gone to over a dozen nail salons to find the right one. None were as wonderful as Moon Nails and Spa. Martha was awesome, and the color choices were better than any I have ever seen. The salon was very clean and everyone seems to be extremely professional. Cant wait to come back!

I seen Nina today For dip powder nails and a pedicure. Nina did amazing and listened to me. I hate the drill and expressed it makes me nervous. Nina didn’t hurt me at all and my nails and toes look amazing!! Will definitely be back to see her!

Love this place I have been to several nail places over the years and have been going here for about 4 months now and have had great experience every visit. Definitely recommend themI need refill but had these done 3 weeks ago and still on good

Did an amazing job on my pedicure. Well worth the money. 1st time customer and 1st time pedicure.

Staff is friendly and quickly. We were there on good Friday and had never seen them so busy. They did a great job managing the balance of appointments and walk-ins and still did a great job on services without making us feel rushed.We got the deluxe pedicure and felt the amount of services offered in that package was very fair for the price. They have an extensive color selection, both in traditional polish and gel. We ended up doing traditional polish this visit. We are quite pleased with the work done.

I came in as a walk in and “Nina” took me as her client. I was getting a full set w gel. I have a condition called hyperhidrosis, where my hands sweat continuously without my control. Yes it is super embarrassing. I love getting my nails done and most of the time after I explain it, people aren’t rude about it. Well anyways she kept saying how sweaty my hands were and asking why. I told her I couldn’t control it and I am sorry she could wear gloves if needed. She just turned fans on for me to dry my hands as much as possible which I’m also okay with. But bringing this up numerous time is humiliating.. even after telling her I couldn’t control it she still kept saying it. I was so embarrassed in front of the other customers because I have an embarrassing condition I cannot control. I finally just told the nail tech that it’s a condition I cannot control and please stop being rude to me and after that she just got quiet and continued doing my nails. She did my nails in a rush and overcharged me. I’ve had my nails done for years and never paid $60 for a French tip set w gel. Never. I didn’t complain and I still tipped. It’s not even about the price though. I don’t mind paying but the experience was truly horrible. I’m sure most women would agree getting ur nails done is to have pretty nails but also to have some “me time” and enjoy yourself. My intention was never to be rude or to complain, I just am leaving this review so maybe the next person who goes there with this condition or just anything of the sort, doesn’t have to be so humiliated and embarrassed like I did.. truly was one of the worst nail experiences I’ve ever had.UPDATE** -I did call, and speak with someone. I explained to them the situation and they did apologize. I explained to the woman I spoke with that I did not need my nails fixed and have went elsewhere to get them fixed. I told her I just wanted them to be notified of the situation because this is most definitely not okay.

I went in thinking I was going to get a full set of acrylic nails, but Debbie saved my nails and just tipped the broken ones. An amazing nail artist... I do appreciate the time and the effort.My nails are gorgeous, and my husband loves them. Thank you so much.I will be returning, already have an appointment made.

Just love everyone there. They are so friendly. John done my nails and he is absolutely wonderful. The only issue I have is they have reward points and Ive not been able to use them. But, I will still continue to go there. 😍

Went in to have a basic acrylic set put on. I did not even want colored polish. Just the acrylics and a clear top coat. The lady who greeted me tried to push me into getting a color gel polish on top of the acrylics instead. Its not what I wanted because I prefer a more natural, subtle looking nail on myself. When I told her I didnt want a color, she decided she was going to almost DOUBLE the price on me for doing less work. She said it would be $55 when a basic set is $30.She tried to say what I was asking for was ombre. It was very obviously not and I told her what I wanted several times. Lol. So I went elsewhere. I went right up the road to a competitor. The other salon gave me exactly what I wanted for $30 (the price it should have been at Moon nails). I wont be going back to Moon nails again.

I’ve gone to moon for years and have always loved their work. However, the last few months have been less than great. Everytime I go, I have to wait atleast 20-30 minutes past my appointment time, and the quality is just not the same anymore. My nails never last longer than a week, and the work is just poor. Last time I walked in on a Sunday. I was told it would be a 15 minute wait. I waited over an hour. Then when I was sat down, the girl was switching between mine and another girls nails. I was there for two and a half hours to get a set of dip (didn’t have anything on my nails to begin with and dip on my natural nail). My cuticles were terrible, and it was not a quality manicure by any means. The girl was less than apologetic and didn’t seem to care that I’d been there for two hours. Told me not to come on sundays. Ive seen multiple different people and have not been impressed. I’ve continued to go here in hopes that maybe I just went in on an off day, but after months of this, I’ll start going somewhere else. Disappointed because this has been my favorite spot for years. I hope they get back to their previous quality!

Im a little late in making this review. But I wanted to give a shout out to this nail salon. I used to go to another nail salon that was a little bit cheaper but I recently moved to the Halls area and decided to stick with somewhere that was close to my house. One night I went to this Moon Nails and Spa and had my nails done first by a lady whose name I cant remember and I apologize. I think Nina... But she was so sweet and friendly and bubbly and it was such a change from the last place that I usually went to. So i picked out a purple gel color but when she put it on my nails it wasnt the same color but she told me to trust her that it was color changing polish and that it would be pretty and she was right. It was gorgeous. Thats what made me want to go back to this place so last week I went and had my nails done and showed Debbie a picture and she said that they couldnt do exactly that but they would get it as close as they could. First of all, the way that Debbie did my nails is 10 times prettier than the girl in the Google photo that I saved to show her. Second of all I also like this place because the nail techs are funny and sarcastic and friendly and they really care about what theyre doing. Ill always come to this nail salon. And each time I plan on switching it up to see what you guys are capable of. I highly recommend this place for sure!!!

I have to say, Moon Nails is hands down, the best in the area IMO. They are extremely clean and take COVID precautions seriously ! All of the staff are pleasant. My pedicure was amazing, the lady really took her time. I could go on and on! Nina did my nails and she was amazing ! I have been to a different place twice and I can say, they are firmly planted in my rear view ! Thanks to all who suggested Moon !!

Me & my daughter went i had a fill in and she had a full set done. The guy that done them didnt ask the length or shape we wanted them. He left polish on her fingers along with glue. She wanted the letter S on her nail and the woman that done it had no clue what she was talkin about or doing it looked awful. I wanted a pretty heart and L on my ring fingers and they just look pathetic. My grandkids could do a better job than this. Only reason we went there is my normal shop wasnt open today and i WILL NOT go back. The front desk girl was the nicest one there. Was not at all worth what I paid. Extremely disappointed

Very poor time management. Had an appointment, waited an hour still never was started on. When I got up to leave, I felt like I was forced to stay because they didnt want to lose business. I understand they may have been running behind schedule, but would have been nice to know up front instead of waiting over an hour for nothing.Will take my business else where.

I always leave with a smile on my face and getting compliments from everyone! He’s done my nails for both my proms and did absolutely amazing on both! 10/10 recommend going here!

I went to this nail salon when I originally lived in Tennessee almost five years ago and loved it. I moved back and return to only love it more. My nail lady there is amazing. She blows my mind with some of the stuff she does to my nails. I get a hundred compliments with each set. The pedicures are amazing as well.

Called and got a Appointment for the same day. Which was Saturday around 1 pm. Standing room only but I was taken right back with no wait. Pedicure was SPOT ON. I took my little sister-in-law to get a manicure and her first pedicure. The ladies at Moon Nails and Spa took good care of us. I got my typical gel nails and she got a special Jack Skelington design. 10/10 would go again!

It was ok...I did not enjoy the individual I got. He was not friendly, nor did he talk to me at all. He was a bit rough too. The other thing I noticed is that he did not take out new tools..that worried me, but then again, I wasnt totally paying attention either. Just not an enjoyable experience. My daughter went with me and she said she did not like it either. Will not go back. Thanks.

One and for a Polish change on my own nails she left some of the old Polish on my nails and after she was done I could still see the old Polish in the corners on the sides and also she wasnt even on the paint I could have done a better job at home I wont be back... Terrible experience- my niece had her nails done here and they messed the gel polish up. Then refused to acknowledge fault, and wanted us to wait an hour after they weren’t even busy. So rude and inconsiderate! Don’t go here if you want them to do a good job or treat you with respect.

I went in for a pedicure with my sister, we both got our toes done next to each other. Not only was our nail tech rough, he did not clean any of the tools in between clients which I especially noticed when he changed from doing my sister’s toes and then mine directly after.

Had a full set put on and I had to tell the lady that did them to check the glue on some of the nails because they were not sticking to my real nails. Now just a few weeks later after only 2 fills they are all popping off. They hurt me several times while working on me and the square shape was horrible. Do not recommend.

I loved my nails when I was done. I had to wait a while to get them done but they were down 2 people the day I went. All and all I would reccomend them to anyone. The guy who did my nails was very friendly.

Terrible! I went with a friend for a relaxing pedicure my tech was DONE in less than 30 minutes, friends tech went on for another 30-40 minutes! Charged the same! Save your money go to Broadway Nails or Modesto! Very angry with service! Asked for the peppermint package never got anything even remotely smelling like peppermint!

I went in for almond nails. I came out with uneven oval nails. Went back the next day and they refused to fix it how I wanted it, and told me I would not get my money back if I wanted them taken off. I’ve never had such a horrible experience in my life at a nail salon. I will never ever go back and I will never ever suggest this place to even my worst enemy. $50 down the drain. Huge disappointment. I had an appointment but they had a lot of walk ins so my tech rushed through the process and you could really tell. She didn’t ask if length size or shape was good, just rushed through it and it turned out very sloppy.

I have been to this Salon three times now to get my nails done. I get them powder coated which is a bit pricey they have had two people that apparently have never done powder coating nails before the owner had to repeatedly keep coming over to help the “tech”. I was there yesterday and I had to switch and get someone else to fix my nails or try to fix my nails from the mess up the first lady made on my nails. The first tech used a scraper to scrape my nails off or that I should say the powder coat off and then went straight to another person did not clean the scraper and started scraping her nails the owners and this lady were arguing over how bad my nails were and fussing at the tech the whole time. They argued back-and-forth . I will not be going back to this place. I would not recommend anyone go to this place. The pedicures take 20 minutes it was very bad service they knew my nails were messed up when I left and they never offered me a discount I still paid full price . It was so bad that the other customers were asking me why I didn’t get up and walk out.

Love them! Always nice and the nails last a long time.
