After going to several different nail salons... finally I have found one!

I love going here! My nails always turn out beautiful and I love that they are patient and family oriented! I’ve had to bring my daughter (4 years old) with me a few times and they’re so patient and sweet with her!! I have her nails done at the same time and they’re always so cute! Worth the money!

Today I went to the california nails to get my acrylic nails and i regret it. My nails are sloppy and unshaped and the man was extremely rude. I asked if he could make my nails a little shorter and he got mad and so he started getting very rough and had my whole pinkie finger swollen. He was in a rush and I thought that that was why he made my nails so horrible. Until i looked at my cousins nails and noticed her nails were sloppy too! Our nail polish is sloppy and at the bottom you can see that there are multiple layers. I will NEVER. COME. BACK. Ladies please dont waste your money on this.

Took a chance and got a fill-in here since I was already at the mail. It took almost an hour for the young woman to do,(normally takes 30 min with my regular technician). They Looked nice initially but within a week it looked like I had them on for weeks and they were lifting badly.Add to that the charge was $10 more than what I usually pay for the exact same thing and color.

This is one ot my favorite places in knoxville. Theyre friendly, take their time, work hard towards perfect sizing and shape, they dont intrude or try to get you to buy pricier options. The atmosphere is quiet and clean. I got my nails reshaped and refilled from a coffin shape I had previously gotten here as well. I switched to an almond shape and I love it just as much

Worst experience ever I have had my nails done here multiple times at the same price and every time from now on it goes up in price and then they say its always been like that but whatever you do dont go to this place its a rip off and the nails are not even that good buyer beware

This nail salon is my favorite. The people who work there are very friendly. Julie does amazing nails. People are surprised that my nails are acrylic.

Place is horrible. i got my nails done there this week. the man was rude, and unprofessional. you can tell at the bottom of my nails how many layers of nail polish there is. the man got the acrylic dip under my actual nail, and he had to pull my nail away from my finger to paint them. i wouldn’t recommend.

My wife gets her nails done and she likes it. The people are really good at nails and are clean. They are from Vietnam and I was in Vietnam and I was there in 67/68 and I am very comfortable talking to them and they told thanks for what we did for them. God bless them 🙏

This is the only nail salon I go to in Knoxville, my lady Julie is very professional, thorough and kind. She is a profectionist and makes my nails look amazing everytime. I go to her at least once a week. The salon itself is clean and well kept together. I highly recommend this salon for anyone and people traveling through Twnnessee on vacation.

David did a wonderful job! Everyone in the salon was super friendly. I normally go to another salon. David did better on a simple fill in than the they salon ever did! Will definitely go back!

I do not recommend this nail salon I got a acrylic nails and they looked awful they were crooked and uneven and the price I paid to get my nails done my nails should have looked better than what they did and in a week time my nails were already popping off. I WILL NOT EVER GO BACK AGAIN!!!

I was waited on as soon as I arrived and the people were very nice. But it took an 1:30 minute to give me a less than spectacular gel polish and it cost 40 dollars plus tip. Explaining an accent nail with a V shape on it was extremely hard even though I didnt think it was a hard request. Their late hours make them very convenient but I was not very happy with my visit.

My mom and I came here to get our nails done and eyebrows waxed. We absolutely love them! She got her acrylics done by David and he shaped them perfectly. Polishing was done well also.Would get nails done here again for sure

Definitely will NOT go back to this nail salon. Went in on Saturday morning. Only 2 other customers in there. We were set down right away for pedicures. Me, my daughter and granddaughter. The water was cold. (Yes we mentioned it and they acknowledged it but kept on working). I asked for my legs not to be sugar scrubbed just my feet. She scrubbed one leg anyway. The toe nail on my right foot was cut crooked and into the skin also the cuticles were not cut back on the right foot. Gel French manicure on right big toe was also crooked!! The ladies working on us kept going back and forth from one to the other. We had to ask numerous times for my granddaughters toes to be painted (which was all she was getting done) when we got to the car we noticed they only painted 9 toes! She has 10 toes!! One got missed.2 pedicures1 manicureOne hand polishOne toe polish of only 9 toes$130 +tip2 hours of our timeAll wasted!!!!The ladies acted rushed and irritated. They were NOT busy. We did get offered something to drink however we already had Starbucks drinks. Maybe they have changed hands or something but I’ve been coming here for at least 4 years and this will be the last time! I am VERY disappointed. Someone as we were leaving even got sprayed with the pedicure water. Uggh

HORRIBLE! !!! Fill in....couldnt do that right! Posted for $20, charged me $30.....no paint, just fill in. Nails crooked, hardly any attention used. Horrible job. Had to fix what could before painting at home. Too quick....couldnt remember what nail she was on because too busy checking phone and talking to other associates in language I couldnt understand. Definitely NEVER going back! Acrylic all over fingers that I had to pull off for the rest of the day. Did I mention no where near straight? There was one guy doing a pedicure that seemed like he cared....as for the rest....dont waste your money. Will have to get my nails fixed. By previous comments, doesnt look like they care.

Wanted long coffin nails and got short rounded square nails that are super thin. The guy rushed the whole time, didnt talk to me, and got acyrlic all over my skin. Still picking it off my skin as we speak. And for $32??? I will not be returning.

I had my granddaughter s nails filled in did not do a good job also had manicure done on other granddaughter he did sloppy job polishing even had to have him redo one nail. They were not friendly and did not appreciate my business.

Had to get my nails done ASAP for an event in the evening and I walked in at 8:30pm (30 minutes to close at that). I got a full set with white tips & the man that did my nails, finished right on time. His wife, who also worked there & did a little work on my nails before he began, was very kind as well. My nails turned out perfect! Will definitely be going back!!

Staff are very friendly. They do a good job. However, I don’t go get my nails done and try to relax in a space where 2 kids run around barefoot. They were pushing a stroller into tables and climbing on dads chair while trying to cut and file my nails. While my nails were drying and my daughter was finishing up, the boy was crying very loudly and wouldn’t stop. Not professional at all for a Saturday afternoon or anytime really. Not relaxing. Not a place that I want to spend my money or time!

I would never recommend this nail salon to anyone. I got my nails done Friday night and today (Monday ) the gel is chipping and peeling as if I have had it on for the full two weeks. They were busy and rushed to get me in and out quickly. My nails were never buffed to help the gel properly adhere. Nor did she even clip my nails. I asked the nail tech to clip them and she said she likes them better long. I had to tell her I prefer short.On another note, I saw a bug crawling across the floor. The whole salon seemed dirty. I will never return.

Got my nails done on Friday and today is Sunday. The gel is already chipping and should’ve lasted at least two weeks. I saw the reviews showed three stars, but decided to give them a chance. It was part of my birthday “day” from my boyfriend and I’m very disappointed. I would not recommend them to anyone.

First off as soon as me and my friend got there to just get a gel polish they kept demanding us to sit down and finally after 20 minutes of waiting we finally got started on. And the fact that two woman came in after us and claimed they had an emergency so they needed to be started on right then. So we waited a little to even get our polish on. Then being the last people to leave. Just for me and my friend to get gel polish, just the polish not even a manicure was 40$ dollars. And here it is two days later and my nails look like trash. Waste of my money and time. Do not recommend.

Got my acrylics filled. price was good ($25), but she did a pretty poor job. length is uneven, surface is not smooth and is lumpy, poor job cutting cuticles, and she left em really thick. Also; looking at them now it doesnt look like theyll last more than a week. I wish i looked it up and saw that it was only 2 stars before i got them done.

I have been coming here for about 6 months and love the experience. The staff is polite, funny and give great pedicures. David does sns for me and they last a good week longer than other places. Julie is also great and the staff never forgets who I am. Also, my feet are hella gross and they still never make me feel uncomfortable.

First time visiting California Nails, and it was lovely but Im not sure if I will go back because I did not see the metal instruments being cleaned or disinfected and the emery board seemed to be one that had been used before. Any fungus or contagious affliction will surely be passed on if cleaniness is sloppy. Can I bring my own tools? Thank you.

Unfriendly staff. Had to have them fix my pedicure because they didn’t remove the dead skin and shouldn’t they clean the dirt out from your toenails with the pedicure? Basic things are extra. Would not recommend

This last week, my cousin and I went to both have pedicures. We got in almost immediately, picked our colors and sat next to each other in the chairs. My pedicure was started first, and about halfway through my cousins nails were started. The guy who did her nails brought the equipment in a sealed unopened package and opened it in front of her which we really appreciated. But then I realized the lady who did my nails never did that; her equipment was already on the side of her workstation when she started. I was trying to give her the benefit of the doubt but then after she was done with my nails, I noticed she didnt take it back to be sterilized, I watched her instead washing it in the sink and putting it back on her workstation. All in all the nails were good but I cringe to think that equipment arent being sterilized correctly. I think management needs to make sure all of their employees follow proper sterilization procedures when it comes to equipment.

This nail shop is hands-down the best now shopping on for my girlfriend loves this place I take her there every chance I get they are great at what they do they are really friendly the staff there is so great Im telling you check them out you will not regret it I recommend them to any and every guy to take your girl there they going to love the place and its not expensive either theyre actually really good reasonable prices

Rude male employee. Owner is kind but has to supervise EVERYTHING so if she is doing YOUR nails, prepare to be there for over 3.5 hours. I wont be back.

Not a good experience. I will never go there again and I would encourage that no one else go there either. There is a real English translation issue. Additionally, I got an infection within 24 hours on a fill. I went back. They partially removed the nail, medicated and then put a nail back on. They showed no concern of my painful situation; although they addressed it. Were not apologetic and charged me for the fix of that nail. That was two days ago. Now, the filling on several of the other nails that they initially filled is breaking off. I was really tired having just come in from a road trip an hour earlier and wasnt really paying attention to what they were doing. But clearly, simply by looking at my nails they have no real idea of what they are doing. DO NOT GO THERE. YOU ARE PUTTING YOUR HEALTH AT RISK.Seriously, they should be shut down by the health department.

This place doesnt even deserve one star, I got my nails done about a week ago. Not even TWO DAYS after two of my nails fall off. The lady did a somewhat okay job with the nail shape but polish looks awful. I went in to get a refund the lady who claimed to be the store manager was super rude and needs an attitude adjustment. She also claimed that its in their store policy not to give refunds but yet its not posted anywhere. She said something underneath her breath when I left. I already filed a complaint with the mall manager and will be getting my refund from higher up.

I just left the place and while they did a FABULOUS job, i got them very long and said it costed 13$ extra. 40$ to be exact. I love the place but the prices need to be moe exact

The chair I sat in felt like I had coils in my back, the massager didn’t work and it sat straight up for almost 2 hours. My neck, back and legs were HURTING so bad by the time my torture was over. The ladies did my nails and toes at the same time. They cut me and moved me and jerked me around while telling me to Relax. I told the lady my water was ICE COLD 3x and she just shook her head and told me to put my feet in the water. (The water used on my hands was cold and dirty.) I chose a RED nail polish and she painted it maroon. I told her why I needed RED to match my Halloween costume but she just continued with a maroon so I figured she just didn’t understand me. It was the worst mani/pedi I’ve ever had. To top it off I pointed to a $25 and $35. I couldn’t get the extra stuff for a pedicure because I was wearing jeans and I knew they wouldn’t roll up. For the worst experience I’ve EVER ENDURED and a migraine from the way I had to sit In that horrible chair I was charged $90. $25 + $35 DOES NOT EQUAL $90!!!I will NEVER go back there!!!Plus my nails look like a 5 year old painted them. I just want to cry and puke. I would rather have given my money away.And before you reply everything is explained regarding cost.... no. No it isn’t. I specifically pointed to what I wanted and I made a point of saying no hot towels or any of that extra stuff for my feet. And I KNOW I didn’t get anything that cost extra for my hands. My manicure is HIDEOUS. My pedicure is ATROCIOUS.I work hard and RARELY do anything nice for myself. This experience was so horrible all I’ve done since I left is cry.

They did good job on the pedicure, but they overcharge for gel polish. It was $20 EXTRA for gel polish. It almost doubled the cost of my pedicure. Absolutely ridiculous. I will not come back.

Although the service is good,they even ask if you want water.To the point which is about my nails they come out cricked,uneven,or the paint job being horrible.Plus i don’t think it should be nesseray to add $5.00 to get a Coffin shape it’s just absord for another style that is LITTERALY no different I don’t think I will be returning due to prices and ways😭

First time visiting this salon and I had high hopes on getting some cute acrylic nails done, but thats sadly the opposite of what happened. I initially was told that my nails would be $25 but later my manicurist said $27. When I told him that I just wanted a basic acrylic set I felt like I had to argue with him to get what I want. He kept insisting I get the gel (which Im personally not a big fan of) and I told him Id just stick to acrylic. We went back and forth and finally he asked for what shape that Id like, which was coffin style (costed me $5), he kept telling me that itd look better long but I had told him several times that I couldnt have long nails with my job. He starts to do my nail and does absolutely no preparation ( No fixing my cuticles, poorly cut my nails, and no soaking or massaging my hands) and cuts my acrylics so poorly! My left thumb nail was left so crooked and a day after getting them done they had already color faded and chipped. I was left with this ugly set that not to mention was super painful for several days (never had been this painful before). Going back to my old salon, pathetic to even call yourself certified when you treat customers horribly.

I paid extra for gel nails and the next day they chipped. Two days later they looked like I hadnt had my nails done in a month. I called and explained that I was 45 minutes from there and wished for a refund but the lady was rude and insisted they do not offer refunds however they do not post this in their store. During the service, the older lady was rude and wouldnt even carry my bag when they moved me. I will never go here again.

Nails where Horrible. Came in for a full set..they where crooked, they broke off within 20 mins of departure, while still in mall. Polish job was sloppy, and they are rude on top of that. I had to go to LaVuie nails to get my nails redone after one hour of departure. Go to LaVuie nails if you go to westtown mall. Never this store.

I called to get prices before I drove all the way over to the mall and they told me the prices for what I wanted.. when I got there and got my nails done I had to keep telling the lady to fix things, I told her exactly what I wanted and she put extra on and charged me 10 dollars more.. I told her what I was told when I called and she just looked at me and smiled.. I will not be back..

Really slow service and they dont do a good job

This was a terrible experience! I took my mother there because she wanted to get her toe nails trimmed and painted, not only did they over charge her they also treated her awfully! When I came to pick her up she was about to cry! This is a terrible establishment and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

I got a set of acrylic nails for $35 2 days ago. Within those 2 days I have lost 2 nails, and all the other nails are starting to come off too. Highly dont recommend going here if you dont like to blow your money.

Horrible experience. Over charged me. My gel nails didnt even last a week. The lady talked me into getting them saying they lasted longer... HUGE mistake going there.
