I have been trusting Christian Brothers with my car needs for almost two years now. They are always so welcoming, and make sure all my concerns are addressed. Their communication is amazing, and they always make sure they explain what’s going on with my car in ways that I can understand. Christian Brothers will ALWAYS be my go to.

Took car there for the first time. Everyone was very attentive and courteous. I got alerts when my car was being checked in got alerts when it was done. Justin came in to chat with me during the repairs just to be sure there was nothing more I would like done. I had me inspection the front end for any wear and tear. He came back and advised me everything looked good for the miles I had. The only concern was the back brake pads needed replacement. This one of the very few jobs I can do since cats have gotten so technical and advise them I would take care of it but really appreciate it the info. Just wish there was a Christian Brothers a little closer to me he said wouldnt sound the way lets hope its soon!

Christian Brothers Automotive was an absolute pleasure to work with. I brought my Jeep in while I was staying in Knoxville because the brakes were squealing pretty loud and I wanted to make sure they didnt need to be replaced before I made the 8-hour drive back home. The shop did a full vehicle assessment for me. Zach was wonderful and went over everything with me at the end. He told me that my brakes were absolutely fine for a few more months and I neednt worry. In addition, my oil had been completely empty when I brought it in (oops) and they topped it off for me. They gave me the full assessment of what needed to be done on the vehicle and how urgent everything was (I have an older vehicle that needs some work). They did all of this free of charge! It is evident that this place actually cares more about the safety of their customers than just making a buck. I would recommend this place to everyone I know in the area!

I think they do great and are competitive in price. Mostly important they were honest about the repairs. A lot (yes stealer-ships included) misrepresent repair. These folks did not. I would of known. 5 star

Updating my review of this business. I’ve been taking my Tundra to Christian brothers for years for my oil changes and alignments. I’ve never had any major issues with my truck. But 2 days ago my truck broke down on the way to work for the first time. Being a female and never having to deal with a breakdown before I was unsure of what to do so of course I called and had it towed to Christian brothers and got a ride to work from my mom. While there I asked for an oil change as well if they could, since I was already scheduled for one. Around lunch time I finally had a chance to check my invoice on my brief lunch break and saw a quote for over $1,700 due to being unsure of the true cost I told them to go ahead and went back to work being unable to make further phone calls. But I did send my mom and brother a text about the cost and that when the over charging issue started. On my behalf my mother called Christian brothers and told them to stop working on the truck and to talk to them about the quote and try to price out a new starter being installed in the area. After using the suggested repair pal website Christian brothers uses and said they were on par with they were hundreds over. After mom brought that to there attention the quote was lowered to over $1,200. But my biggest issue with this was at that point instead of continuing to communicate with my mother about the issue they called my wife who was also at work to get her to approve the new quote. I felt that to be inappropriate due to my mother already initiating trying to get the truck fixed with them. So needless to say we will no be going back there for any services due to there business practices. We went down to road to a different shop and had the starter replaced for $600-700 less then Christian brothers initial quote. They lost 2 customers and I will stop recommending there service to anyone.

Everyone was very professional and courteous. I live almost 3 hours away and they took very good care of my college freshman’s car, even giving him rides to and from campus to drop off and pick up his car. David was very kind and understanding of any concerns we had and was patient and communicated well with us as we navigated getting our son’s vehicle fixed while not being able to be in person. Will definitely recommend and use again.

I had an electrical issue with my car that 2 previous mechanics could not locate. Christian Brothers found it and fixed it for a very reasonable price. They called me every day with updates and were super nice. I highly recommend them.

Needed tpms sensors replaced, left my truck there all day and it never was fixed. Also was suppose to send me price quote for some other things and never received that. I do not have a lot of time on my hands and to have my truck missing all day it is very inconvenient to have to reschedule an appointment for the same thing.

Got an alternator replaced from Christian Bros in Jackson and recently had issues with it. Christian Bros Knoxville honored the warranty (3 year/36 k miles) and had it rapidly replaced at no extra cost to me (no haggle either). This staff and the staff in Jackson were both kind and courteous. Also, they provided a shuttle to bring me to Christian Bros to pick up my ride. They may be a bit more than other mechanics, but you truly do get what you pay for. I highly recommend Christian Bros for any car maintenance for their superb warranty and service.

Went in for a 4 wheel alignment today and they charged me $170 and some change. I asked why it was so high and they said it was because my VW was European. I called Harper VW and asked the DEALERSHIP how much a 4 wheel alignment would cost for my car. They quoted $119 without tax. It was my fault, I should have asked before scheduling the alignment. In the future I will not get my cars aligned there. If the dealership is cheaper then something is wrong with their pricing in that area. Beware and shop around.

I just moved to the area. Christian Brothers came very highly recommended. They got me in right away, and checked out the problem. I’ll be taking all my vehicles to them in the future. I appreciate everything!

While on vacation our alternator went out while passing through Knoxville. AAA recommended Christian Brothers to us since it was so close to where we broke down on the freeway. They were busy, but did their best to get our car checked out and fixed. We were able to get our car repaired sooner than first was estimated. They did a wonderful job of keeping us updated on what was going on. We were really pleased with their work. Ive heard good things about the Christian Brothers back home, so I knew I was in good hands.

I liked that the price for everything was up front and I could agree or disagree to have the work done. I liked how thorough the inspections seemed to let me know everything that may need fixed.

Very professional and polite. I was traveling and they graciously addressed my repair need. It took 3 1/2 hours, but I was grateful they worked me into their already packed schedule. I provided the parts and they worked with me to maintain reasonable charges. Their follow-up by phone was appreciated.

I had an alignment for me BMW X3 done at Christian Brothers. They did a great job. They were very professional explaining everything and we’re very efficient. My car was done in just a couple hours.

Facility clean inside and out. Friendly office employees. Free internet while waiting in comfort. Repairs on time for fair price. My Costco discount is the icing on the cake. They had to use some dye in my A/C because they were looking for a tiny leak. They told me I should return in a week. I dropped by, and they found time to double check the A/C and got me out in 15 min. Could not be .ore pleased!

Service great and done on time. Price quoted in text message not what I was told when picking up car though. I was told I owed $92 more. Fortunately, I questioned it, and they did adjust it. Seems the brake pads they installed were more expensive because they were for a later model, but I was never told that in any text. But as I said, the price was adjusted to the amount I okayed, and my brakes are running very smoothly.

I had always heard good things about this place so I decided to try them out for an oil change and also get an estimate on some maintenance that I feel needs to be done. They were very busy but still got my SUV finished on time and did a thorough inspection complete with pictures. I have never seen this before and was impressed. I may try and do some of the work myself but I do feel like this is a good place to go and I will more than likely be back! Good job Christian Bros.

I had a warning message on my car and Carmax the company who issued my warranty could not work me in for more than a month. Christian Brothers got me in right away. They were very helpful with all processes for the warranty. Although they had my car for almost a month due to circumstances beyond their control they kept me informed and updated all the way. The courtesy and professionalism of thestaff was exceptional and i couldnt have asked for better quality service. My car was clean and running great. They do not try to sell services or parts you do not need, and show pictures of all the issues they diagnose on t he customers cars. Christian brothers automotive performed a diagnostic on my truck to pinpoint an electrical problem in one of the control modules. They they were very very professional at all times, considerate and helpful even on a personal level. If I need automotive service again, Im heading directly over to their shop.

The catalytic converter was stolen from my car while it was parked in a parking deck at UT Knoxville. The folks at Christian Brothers Automotive were super professional and worked with me to keep the expense reasonable. The repair was completed in a few days because parts had to be ordered. No big deal. They kept me informed about the progress of the repair every step of the way. The three year repair warranty is great for peace of mind too. Great first experience!

We purchased a new truck to tow our travel trailer and needed to have the hitch and ball adjusted in order to pull our trailer. The bolts were way to tight to adjust the hitch ourselves so we popped in to Christian Brothers, unannounced, in hopes that they could help us out. After explaining our problem, Collin jumped right in and immediately offered to take care of that for us! 5 minutes later, the job was done! I offered to pay for their services, but Collin would have none of that! This level of customer service speaks volumes about the character of this business! I started going to Christian Brothers Automotive 4 years ago when I first moved to Knoxville. I am so happy with that decision. From the start, they have been nothing short of incredible. Everyone who you speak to is professional yet personable, and it’s easy to say that they care about their customers. My most recent experience I had with them was for an engine fan installment. Zach, my Service Advisor, was awesome. Always keeping me updated, was super friendly, and beyond helpful. He took every single call I had with a smile, and explained everything in detail. I just found out from their shuttle driver (equally as great), that they were founded on principles of not focusing on the money prospects, but to help the individual to the highest level, and ensure every customer is treated the same, man or woman. ABSOLUTELY Amazing!!!!! If I could give them more then 5 stars, I would. The messages they send to your phone with pics and videos of all the problems was informative and great. No pressure at all for any additional services that may be needed. They also gave me a two day window of completion and finished the following day. Above and beyond. I needed a ride after drop off and the courtesy vehicle was already out on a run, so an outstanding employee gave me a ride in their personal vehicle to get me where I needed to be. I LOVE they are Veteran Owned. Integrity and Values are definitely at this business. I will never go anywhere else.

I have had two really great experiences at this shop. They are so patient and professional—they never make you feel dumb or try to sell you on services you don’t need/understand. They have a really great online portal that lets you see pictures of issues before you approve any services. I usually have lots of questions, and they always explain things in a way I can understand. They also separate issues into things that need to be done now and things that can be done later but will need future attention.I love taking my car here even though it’s a little bit of a drive. Also, the prices don’t seem to be much higher than other shops in the area, and you get 3x longer of a warranty than other shops on repairs. When I look up online how much the repairs I needed would cost, CBs estimate has always been on the low end of the spectrum. Plus, Costco offers a discount on their services for members. I’d highly recommend them.

Christian Brothers provided the 60,000 maintenance service for my 2018 Outback. They did a fantastic job of completing the work on time and professionally. The price was well below the Subaru dealership and the service was well above! I only take my vehicles to Christian Brothers because of their honesty and also to support a fellow veteran.

Customer service is half the experience in dealing with any business. And they have it down perfectly. Thats my experience. Plenty people working in the office so you dont feel out of the loop on whats going on with your vehicle. They replaced a part on my car and even thought it needed replacing, it didnt completely fix the problem, but they got me back in quickly and finished the job w/out charging me the extra $300. I havent dealt with any mechanic, yet, that would do that. Definitely giving them my business for now.

Great experience. Professional and friendly. The work they did in my truck for its intermittent rough idle made sense and I liked the complementary maintenance checks and pictures they sent me. They did a good job running through their services and what to expect with regards to cost and contentenciges (ala if this solves it, it will be $200, otherwise it might be more). I thought the price was decent. Overall a great experience and Ill be back for sure.

Needed a trustworthy provider for an oil change on a used Mini Coop we purchased for our daughter. AAA recommended these guys. They also did a post purchase inspection to ensure that with regular service, her car remains reliable for our child. Both were reasonably and competitively priced. I got a full report on the status of my car, complete with pictures and clear explanations of what was wrong, how its supposed to work, how urgently it needs to be repaired and why. They definitely did not try to sell me service I didnt need, which happens a lot, especially if you are female. We gave our approval for a leaky strut replacement, again reasonably and competitively priced, and sent out their shuttle to pick me up when it was ready the next afternoon. Very professional customer service. I set up an appointment for another car and plan to exclusively use CBA for our car repair and maintenance needs. Highly recommend.

I brought by 2001 Subaru in for and alignment and exhaust repair and there ended up being much more wrong that just those things. All the repairs were incredibly expensive and the people at Christian Brothers were honest on the most important things to fix now and even advised me to refrain making those essential repairs because it wouldn’t be worth it on account of the car’s age and mileage. They applied some sealant for free for the time being. They are there to make sure youre making the best decision for your car, not just make money. The shuttle service was also prompt and the driver was personable.

I wanted to support the openly Christian business. Scheduling an appointment was uncomplicated and there was an attentive person on the other end. Beyond that, the staff members were kind, respectful, and informative. Upon completion of the service I was shown data and images of the checks performed. I did not have to wonder if everything requested was performed or not, they had the proof readily available. I was thoroughly impressed and I will be returning for all of my vehicle maintenance as needed.

Although I ultimately decided not to have my vehicle repaired at Christian Brothers (its old enough and the repairs needed were extensive enough that I decided to replace it instead) the service was excellent.I paid for a diagnostic on the vehicle and definitely feel like I got my moneys worth. The inspection and report I received were very detailed and thorough, and employees reached out to me for a follow up conversation to make sure I understood all the information included in the report and estimate that I was given. They provided written details and estimate so I could see exactly what needed repair, why the technician deemed repair necessary for those parts, and how much each component would cost to fix. The whole experience was very open and transparent, I didnt get any indication that they were trying to inflate the cost of repairs or recommend repairs that werent necessary just to make a little more money.They were honest with me about the state of the vehicle and told me the cost of repairs would likely add up to more than the car is worth. (They were correct, its an old vehicle with 200,000 miles on it and I was hoping to squeeze one more year of use out of it, but that just wasnt a cost-effective option.) They didnt try to convince me to get the repairs on the vehicle just so they could make more money. They recommended that I should consider the cost of the repairs vs the age and value of the vehicle even though that meant I only paid the inspection fee and didnt get any repairs done.They also provided a courtesy shuttle to give me a ride after dropping my car off, as well as offering to come pick me up when it was time for me to come back and get it. The employee who gave me a ride was very friendly and professional as well. Overall, Christian Brothers is a little bit pricey compared to other shops Ive visited, but in this case I definitely think you get what you pay for. I would recommend them 100% for any type of car repairs or diagnostic. I already told my roommate he should take his Jetta down there because hes getting some pushback at the dealership about whether or not his car needs some minor repairs that are covered by the warranty. The dealership just doesnt want to pay for the repairs, but thats too bad. I figure having an estimate in hand would put a stop to the entire conversation about whether or not the repairs are needed and just get the sh*t taken care of. Honestly Harper Volkswagen is a nightmare and theyve been a pain in the a** every single time hes tried to get a warranty repair done. Definitely do NOT recommend them. But Christian Brothers is great lolTl;dr: Extremely professional, highly qualified service, I would recommend Christian Brothers to anyone.

Great people and great shop! I went in for an alignment, and the technician performed the service quickly and also changed my battery out when he found it was bad. I originally came to Christian Brothers after another (national/chain) auto repair shop stated that my brakes were under the threshold for thickness and needed to be replaced. I dropped off my car at Christian Brothers fully expecting to need a full brake job. However, they did an inspection and found that while the edges of the rotors were a bit rusty - there was still plenty of life left in the rotors/pads. Thank you Collin & team for your honesty and professionalism. I will definitely return to Christian Brothers for all of my future maintenance and repairs.

I really appreciated the fact that, Zach the initial guy I spoke with, got my car in and being worked on the very next morning. Over three days and aside from the automated texts that keep you updated, Zach stayed in close contact with me. He called me to let me know exactly what was happening with my car. And on the third day when I came in to pick up my car and pay, Zach was on the phone so another gentleman took care of my payment. But as I was walking out the door I heard from behind me “Have a nice day Kim and call me if you need anything at all.”. It was Zach he had put his call on hold to take two seconds to complete his interaction with me on a personal level! Seriously that meant so much to me! In a time where it feels like we are constantly being pushed aside by corporations, handed off to bots and automated services Zach’s personal relationship with me meant so much! It is the number one reason I will be a loyal customer at CBA, because; I felt loyalty from Zach. Thank you again. The emissions problem my car was having is something other shops had no interest in addressing (I know now because they are generally difficult to resolve). But because no shop would fix it overtime it turned into a serious problem where my car would shut off anytime it was in neutral (at lights or stop signs). CBA and Zach attacked the problem head on they were honest with me that these leaks were often very difficult to locate but they would do their best... within 24 hrs they had located the leak and fixed it! Justin Richter helped me out with an oil change and a diagnostic inspection of my 2017 Titan truck. The mechanic(s) found several factory defects that would have cost me thousands of dollars in past warranty repairs if I had waited too long. They have the most professional looking report I have ever seen on a vehicle. They took plenty of photos too. Ill always use and recommend Justin and Christian Brothers!

Absolutely floored by the experience we had with Christian Brothers! We brought our 2019 Chevy Silverado in for squeaking brakes. We thought we needed new brakes as that is usually the start to wear on your brakes. They called a little while after dropping it off to say they inspected our brakes and no pads/rotors were needed, they just needed to clean some rust off and that we can come pick it up. My husband asked over the phone how much it would be for the labor of putting it up and inspecting it. They said it wouldn’t cost us anything!Never have we ever been to a mechanic that didn’t charge at least some kind of inspection fee for their time! We will ABSOLUTELY use Christian Brothers for our future mechanic needs and can’t wait to tell our friends about the excellent customer service we received!
