My daughter was on her way back to Louisville from a camping trip in the Smokies on a Sunday afternoon when her check engine light started flashing. She pulled over and searched for a VW repair shop nearby and came across Beeman Imports. She had the car towed to your shop (she said the tow truck driver was great, but I didnt get his name or company) and left a message. You folks got her car in and diagnosed right away Monday morning. And had her and her friend on the road by that afternoon. I live in Northern Michigan and couldnt do a damn thing, I truly appreciate what you folks did to get her taken care of and on the road. If I lived near your shop youd have a life long customer. Thank you so much.

If you dont want to get taken advantage of, Beaman Imports is the place to go for quality work at a fair price. They do excellent work in a timely manner. I also like the fact that they explain things to me in laymans terms.

Diagnostics from beaman imports cost me 120$ at any auto part store that would of been free. Quoted for replacing 2 parts witch after looking them up came out to about 160$ they wanted 800+$ to fix. Then they wanted to throw in a smoke test to make sure of no vac leaks to equal about 1600$ after a quick google search vac test average cost is 88$-111$ .

I took my Mercedes to Beaman Imports; where they have an excellent and very knowledgeable Mercedes specialist. My issue was diagnosed within 2 hours. Another alleged Euro specialty garage had it for 10 days and called and said, I am sorry but we do not know what is wrong with your car. The good part was he only charged a small 59.95 fee. My main communication within Beaman Imports was with Joel. He kept me informed daily. His explanations of the mechanisms of my car were thorough, easy to understand, and very Mercedes savvy. The price was VERY reasonable. The entire team were honest, efficient, hospitable, and considerable when working within my budget. Not only will I utilize their expertise in the future; I suggest if you have a European automobile, Beaman is the place to go.

Best place in town for European cars. Service is always high quality and prices are fair when compared to online research for parts. Ive used them a few times now, always had great experiences. Dont take your European car to a regular shop around town, trust these guys to do the work correctly and for the right price.

The only word that I can use to describe my initial experience with Beaman Imports is Wow! I took my Mercedes SL in for some diagnostic work and an oil change. Due to the technicians continued investigation and persistence, what was initially thought to be a $1,000 repair became a $70 repair. Its a true blessing to locate people who are thorough, honest, fair, and customer service-oriented. Thank you for a great visit!

Crazy good service.

Let me start out by saying, when your car completely craps out, Its a scary deal. Ive had some bad luck lately but finding out about Beaman Imports was one of the best things to happen to me in a while.My Mercedes transmission quit working on me and I had the car towed there after work hours. By the next morning Joel had gotten in touch with me and already had the issue figured out. As soon as I told him to pull the trigger on the repair it was finished. The team at Beamans kept me informed the entire time, was super nice and knowledgeable and all of this was a fraction of the cost of other places. I couldnt believe it. I also loved the SpaceX flag inside the shop, Go SpaceX! and Go Beaman!

This was work on a leaking sunroof drain Volvo. After last nights monsoon. Noticed floor board was saturated with water. Pull a pillar off to check work. The silicone used to hold hose in place which service manual does not call for had stopped up the drain causing it overflow in the sunroof gutter (at the top) and water pouring over gutter to leak from top of windshield through headliner. Upon inspection of other side for same issue I found that the side serviced is missing a drain hose adapter for the elbow. Clear silicone does not fix all problems.

I was desperate to find a repair shop for my daughters car in her college town when I found Beamans via a Google search. The reviews were very positive and they are accurate. Great customer service and reasonable price.

Recently purchased a 13-year old Volkswagon Beetle and took it to Beaman to have it serviced. Joel was very thorough, professional and honest. I will discontinue taking my Subaru to the Grayson Subaru dealership and trust Beaman with both cars. I would highly recommend Beaman for car servicing.

It feels so good to know that I have finally found reliable mechanics to help with out of warranty imports. My VW kept showing a check engine light that three other shops had been unable to diagnose. After a nearly four-month saga, these folks (David Beaman, the owner; and Joel) were fantastic! Joel took the basic information and David Beaman spent three straight hours trying to solve a complex problem in my engine. He alone got the problem fixed, and I will be forever grateful to this shop for its efficiency and follow-through. This place is da bomb!
