Sandy did an amazing job with my hair. I had been using an at-home highlights kit, and it just wasnt doing a good job anymore. I have long hair and got a full head of highlights and color. The salon was clean and big. Very well priced.

Recently moved to Klamath and chose vintage salon because of the good reviews online since I do not know anyone here. I left unhappy. Very poor technique for foils. I have harsh foil lines at my part and my temples and brassy hair. No offer to correct it was given. I called the next day to see if they could fix it since I’d had a day to think about it and still was very unhappy. No one even returned my call. I was also surprised by the lack of following mask mandates. Many patrons and stylists were not wearing masks. Will keep looking for a salon.

I went in to get my (medium brown) hair lightened and trimmed, and left with orange and green spots in my hair. The stylist, Sandy, said it was probably because of my hard water. Then she said it was the shampoo/conditioner I was using, and finally said it must have been from the last stylist who did my hair (which was over 2 years prior). My hair looked terrible so she only charged me 75% of the price. She said she didn’t feel comfortable putting any more bleach in my hair, so in order to fix it (because it looked so trashy and embarrassing) she scheduled me to come back in, cover it all up, and go dark brown which is obviously not why I went in there in the first place. Somehow the dark brown came out splotchy as well, and the trim is uneven too. Very bummed out. I wish I would have saved my money and saved my hair from all of the damage.

Super disappointed with my cut. I gave it a few days to try and get used to it and see if it would be better, but...no such luck. I called ahead and asked if they had someone there who was experienced cutting very thick hair. Whoever answered the phone laughed at me like I was being dramatic...Ive had bad experiences in the past and wanted to make sure I got a quality cut - not everyone can cut thick hair correctly. I showed Sandy pictures of what I wanted, but told her I wanted it a bit longer than the pictures. Not only did she cut it too short, but the layers are chunky and poofy anytime I try to style it - which is what I specifically told her happened last time I tried a shorter style, and she assured me she wouldnt do. Plus...the cut isnt even. One side is longer than the other...So Im hoping to find a different salon that can hopefully fix some of the damage, but as of now Im stuck with a bad haircut until it grows out again. Never coming back here for sure.

Its ok. I only had one gal cut my hair and shes not there anymore. They need someone at the desk greeting people or take turns walking up to greet as theyre cutting. Most of the time I had to shout across the room to say why I was there and after telling them who I had my appt with, they just say ok. No have a seat or Ill get her or itll be just a minute Just kind of poor face to face experience. Likely wont go back ...

Ive never left here disappointed after Rommney is done with my hair, and shes been doing it for years! If you want a cut, color or style done the right way, shes the one you want!
