Worst two years. Downstairs neighbors were loud, filed numerous complaints. Nothing was done. I was rarely in my apartment because I worked through the pandemic. I had no pets in the apartment and I took care of the apartment. I only hung ONE picture on the wall and I vacuumed DAILY. I still got charged for a carpet clean, repainting, etc. Place was a mess when I moved in. They took my security deposit for things that never needed to be fixed/cleaned. This apartment is a joke. No worries, I will tell my contractors to never set foot here. Look at the photos below and judge for yourself. NO EXCUSE! UNPROFESSIONAL AND ARROGANT TO YOU WHEN YOU FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO LIVE.
Feels like a poorly remodeled hotel but Ive included the list below of things encountered while living here.Pros: locationCons:- Hair and bugs from previous occupant painted over in the bathroom walls- Hot/ neighbors constantly smoking making it impossible to leave a window open- Had a package stolen out of their package room- Charged for the entire carpet on move out for the sole reason of owning a cat, which was disclosed and on the lease after the carpet was initially installed incorrectly per maintenance- Charged to rehang drywall that was filled in upon move out- The counters/ walls are incredibly thin and you can hear everything a neighbor does- Poor door seals that you can literally see through and will have to seal yourself
All I can say is that, I love this place. They are very quick at responding back to my concerns and of course with minimally staffing it can be hard to cover everything at once, but they will ensure to get back with you.In addition to that, they are probably the best and most considerate apartment complex I have rented from. I feel that they assist the situation and provide a solution. They are very nice and clean apartments, have no trouble with neighbors. Only thing is people need to pick up their dog poop... but they office cannot control all of that.
Expect both bridges to be blocked off for a quarter of the year. They do this in case it snows or gets icy. That means for 3+ months you have to walk around, through the parking lot that has no sidewalks, with cars driving by, all for a handful of days with snow. This screams extreme laziness. Very annoying and unprofessional.Updated to 3 stars because of management and how accommodating they were on my move out. (Still a bit annoyed with the bridges being closed 😆)
*This is an edited review after some reflection.* I have been very happy living here and the management is very responsive to maintenance requests and questions, etc. For its location it is reasonably quiet and the neighbors are great. However, the on-site management was poorly equipped to respond to a recent flood event. It was a challenging situation as they were understaffed and it was the Christmas holiday. The on-site management (thank you, Amy!) was able to provide another available unit, but there was poor communication, little support and a rushed move-out. I was told to locate and organize movers for myself at the last minute and they would reimburse me. This was while dealing with a soggy apartment. Amy was sympathetic and did her best, but could provide little support in any tangible way because she could not be everywhere at once! She definitely needed more support from higher up the chain. After being a good tenant for 2.5 years, I had hoped for better, considering that their duckpond invaded my home. Prior to this event, I would have given a much higher review.TL/DRVery good for the day-to-day details but you are on your own in a crisis due to small number of staff.
I appreciate how fast the process was !I had it in my mind that I would take at least a week or two before getting any place but the lovely ladies😊 at the leasing office were quite quick and efficient. Didn’t even get to check out other apartments I had planned to tour that week.I love nature a lot too so Vue’s environment will do just fineGrateful!
Have lived here for 3 years and 5 months. Its a great neighborhood close to I 405. The schools are great. The new manager has taken things to whole new level. Listens to tenants and addresses any issues without delays. I have a great experience here.
Easiest move ever! Amy made moving so painless. Had my lease and everything delivered online and the process was super fast. Love my new apartment!
While the staff was nice and tried their best to help, moving into a flea infested apartment that constantly smelled musty (the entire 1.5 years I lived there) was not the best experience….When I first viewed the apartment I was told the damp smell was from the recently washed carpet and that it would fade. It did not. Regarding the fleas, I have 2 indoor only cats - at the previous apartment I lived at there was no sign of any fleas on them, but after just a couple weeks of moving into Vue we suddenly had a significant flea issue. Furthermore once summer came around, the apartment because INFESTED with flying ants, literally hundreds of them! Not much was done on the staffs part - they couldn’t find the breeding ground/where they were coming from. Ultimately, the apartment just never felt….clean….you know? There just seemed to be problem after problem (some minor inconveniences on top of the issues I mentioned, but I don’t care to write them all down). The positives are that it’s in a great location and the patio I had overlooked the really cute stream/pond that runs through the middle of the complex.
This was definitely the best moving experience I have ever had. From the phone call to when I arrived to fill out the application. Lindsey and Amy were both so helpful to answer all my questions about the Vue. If your looking for a place to feel at home and be taken care of then this is the place!!! Super nice apartments and so close to everything you need!
Definitely 5 stars! My girlfriend and I moved here earlier this year and everything has been great. Lindsey and Amy, the property managers, are awesome, They are very friendly, responsive, and helpful. They were a big factor in us deciding to move here. The location is also prime! So many food options and cool places to check out!
Lindsey helped me get moved in and made everything so easy. She is very friendly, professional and helpful through the entire process. Havent formally met the office manager but, she seems to always be friendly from our minimal interactions. Its a great apartment, close to practically anything right off the highway, quiet, friendly neighbors, very clean environment, dog friendly. My dog, Trigger loves to chase the bunnies around the greenbelt. Highly recommend living here!
If i could give 0 stars I would. The management staff is rude and un responsive to resident issues. Amy does not answer the phone when she is in the office. If you have an issue with an appliance or plumbing fixture they have to send someone into your apartment 4 or 5 times before they will replace it. So you have to let someone not in your household into your home 4 or 5 times in a pandemic before they will resolve the issue. Amy will allow a kitchen sink to flood my kitchen 4 or 5 times before she will allow Dave to replace the faucet. So AMC would rather pay Dave to come into my home 4 or 5 times before spending $39.99 to replace the broken piece. I have lived here for 5 years and this has been by far the worst management team.
Lindsey got me my apartment. I have to say she has made it the best experience for me. She made everything so simple and quick! And she goes out of her way to accommodate for all of us residents here! She has made me feel like this is really my home! Thank you so much, Lindsey!
Lindsay and Amy were nothing short of amazing!! They answered every single email question or concern we had. Made the move in process super quick and easy. You can tell they really care about their residents. I’m so happy with our choice to move here.
This is a beautiful location but the management did not taking care of this place. There system is very poorly managed.1. if you shop anything online it will be deliver in their safe room where it is not safe, could be stolen but management would not take any responsibility. Management will force you to rent their locker other wise you item can missed.2. You would not be able to use you patio, management will tell you how you can use it. ( you are paying for that but not yours)3. Parking is extra, not a single parking comes with you rent.4. Water, sewerage and garbage bills are horrible -- no one will provide any supportive documents that how much water you had used.5. none of their appliances works properly, So old like dryer would not dry. washer would not clean cloth, dish washer did not open its lid.6. If some one drop water from the top floor it runs to the ground floor. there are no barrier. when i complained about that, my mattress, pillow everything was flooded at the middle of the night in COVID situation. No one from management did not come to visit us or even say sorry for that.7. People over there did not clean after their dog but the management is ignoring that, no action have ever taken to stop that only a mail.8. the behave of the management is un-tolerable.I can go on and on. These make me feel so bad that i moved out from that place and spend unnecessary lot of money. to change one location is really expensive moreover painful job specially with small kids.I would not recommend anyone to lease that place to live.
I am very happy with the service, professionalism, and generosity shown to me by Lindsey and the rest of the team at the Vue Apartments in Kirkland. For starters, my credit is not in the best place right now, but they were able to work with me and still get me approved very quickly and painlessly with a negligible addition of a half months rent to the security deposit I owed. While I was in the process of packing my things and getting ready to move in to my new home, Lindsey actually took it upon herself to create my account for me for my utilities bills, which I thought was a really nice touch and definitely showed an added degree of care to the entire process. The entire time from contacting Lindsey to getting my key to my new place took less than 24 hours, definitely the best experience ive ever had with regards to renting a home! The apartment itself is wonderful, its just the right size for me, has a great kitchen, the whole place was very clean at move in, and I cant recommend them enough if youre a looking for an apartment to rent in the Seattle/Bellevue/Kirkland area.
Was moving from Los Angeles to Washington with a very tight deadline the staff (Lindsey and Amy) were both super helpful and willing to work with my tight schedule. I kind of came in blind not knowing what to expect and was happy to find that the apartments and the lot were very charming, there is a nice little stream running down the center the landscaping is fantastic. Its also in a great location there is a shopping center within walking distance of the place with a wholefoods, trader Joes and a bunch of various places to eat. Its close to the highway but with all of the trees and nature surrounding the buildings you dont even notice.
The office staff are maintenance are amazingly friendly and helpful! I’ve never had such a good experience at an apartment & we recommended several of our friends to live there! Gianna is amazing and keeps it professional but takes the time to get to know people as well. Maintenance was always quick to fix and small problem I had & I was lucky enough to never have a big problem. 11/10 would recommend ❤️
We move here years ago saw a lot of change we live here about 10 or 11 year now really enjoy talking to office gal AMY oh the the other little gal are awesome thank you Amy also add the young man the maintenance guys care of about your issue and they are fast clean funny and dog friendly we feel nothing but peace here thanks again David and the other 2 guys too thanks all of ya
Upon move in my stove and washer didnt work, and we had no hot water. We signed a lease 2 weeks before physically moving in, so not sure why this was left unchecked. This should have been the first sign...We went through 3 washing machines while we lived here as they continued to break and seemingly couldnt be fixed. The last time it was replaced, the maintenance team left huge tears in the laminate from dragging the machine across the hallway. At one point our upstairs neighbors flooded their bathroom and water came pouring out of our bathroom ceiling. This damage occurred in November and the repair was still unfinished when we moved out at end of February. If you need to call someone, good luck! The office doesnt answer or return phone calls. You need to email or physically catch them at the office. While living there, pet stations were CONSTANTLY overflowing with waste, and the poop bags were frequently out. I took it upon myself to replenish waste bags from around the property, and we always had to contact the office to ask them to take out the trash. At one point we were told, yeah the person who did that doesnt work here anymore, so...This property is under new management now (as of Feb 2020) and the first time I walked in to give them a check, I was greeted with extremely unfriendly faces and felt like I was a burden. When I inquired about a deposit refund, I was sent a report with insanely overpriced charges, including a WSG bill I had already paid, carpet AND unit cleaning charges (even though we cleaned very thoroughly), and a $350 charge for partial repaint which was supposedly to patch the 2 sets of holes I made in the kitchen for storage racks and 1 set for a curtain. We were very clean and very cautious about the care of our apartment. If you can afford it, stay FAR AWAY from here. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. Sad waste of 1 year of my life and tons of money.
Move in went smoothly. Lindsey was understanding of my last minute time change, and she immediately put in work orders for a few things that werent working in the unit. Very pleased overall.
Listen to the reviews very slimy sales reps here
The worst apartment manager ever. After I lived here for a year and half I moved out. Thinking the deposit of $250 will cover the cleaning. However, the debt collection called me to tell me that I have to pay $375.36 in addition to the deposit. They sent me a report but it wasnt clear at all what they added up to get this amount just for cleaning the apartment. There was no damage done by us while living there. Also, I never got an email or call from the manager or the audit to tell me that I have this payment due. They just pass it to debt collection. Anyway, I called the apartment and the assistant told me two times that the manager has to call me because she doesnt know anything. The manager didnt call me for a month. Then the third time I called (which is today) talked with the manager and she told me the audit is the one sending the amount to dept collection and now she cant talk with me anything about the situation because the dept collection is the one responsible. I asked her why she didnt call me to let me know that she cant do anything. I waited a month just to get nothing. Anyway, the apartment is ok to live but the management is the worst nightmare. In addition, there is no one you can talk except this so-called manager. Even I asked her if I can talk with the audit but she said had no contact with them. Please shop around before you end here. There is lots of apartment around here.
Lived here almost a year and plan on renewing our lease. Love the location! Gianna (Assistant Manager) is always kind and accommodating. Staff and maintenance are friendly and efficient as well! Close to shopping, restaurants, hospital, and public transportation. Would definitely recommend!
I can not, in good faith, recommend that anyone attempt to rent from this location. When we moved in, the unit was not ready. After driving across the country to arrive on our specified move-in day, we had to spend the majority of the day waiting in our car so the unit could be cleaned and have the floor repaired. The floor is still really damaged and they were not able to complete any of the painting repair before the movers arrived. This means our floors and walls will remain damaged for the duration of our lease (which we will not be renewing). The kitchen drawers are not balanced, the backs fall off, and the drawers dont close all the way due to the failed installation. We have requested repairs to the dish washer multiple times. It does not clean the dishes. At all. We have given up asking for them to fix it and now use it as a drying rack because it has no other value in the very small kitchen. The fridge is so loud it activates my mic (from across the room) during conference calls. Overall, the quality of the unit is less than was advertised on their website.About a month after we moved in we received a note on the door that was very hostile and threatening regarding our scooter being parked on the back patio. This was where the manager had told us to put it, so this note threatening legal action was really confusing. No one had bothered to tell us the manager had been changed and the new person failed to have any kind of civil conversation before throwing legal action notices on peoples doors. I contacted the office regarding the tone of the letter and was not provided with a real apology. The manager excused the unprofessional tone away saying it was a new girl, but if you’re training someone you check their work. This new manager has proven to be incapable of taking any kind of responsibility. It’s a shame the last manager was much better to work with. Far less defensive and actually wanted to make things better for residents. When the shelter in place order closed a lot of the amenities. I reached out to the office to ask them for a rent adjustment to account for the reduced value of our units and off-set some of the costs my family was accruing in purchasing equipment we were already paying to access. The office refused to discuss any kind of accommodation and multiple times became defensive and deflected any blame or responsibility while ignoring my actual request. I also requested that they wear masks when traveling the grounds and speaking with my elderly neighbors. The manager insisted the office has PPE, but I have yet to see a single person wearing it.The grounds are pretty, but the unit quality and office staff are really below par (including their ethics) and not worth what they are charging.
David was extremely helpful and prompt when solving the problem. He was very thorough and I appreciate him continuing to work toward finding the necessary solution until the problem was solved! Thank you!
Great place to live!: Quiet but yet very close to everything we need without the traffic jams!
I lived at Vue for 3 years and loved it! The #1 factor for my living choices is always peace and quiet and that can be a little challenging to find in apartments but most of my time spent there was very peaceful and met my expectation. The entire complex has a quiet and calm vibe to it....you don’t even realize you’re living close 405! Maintenance was very prompt in responding to my maintenance requests and the leasing consultants were always friendly and helpful. My emails were always replied to within 1-3 hours anytime I had a question. I really like the Parcel system they added as it made retrieving my packages a lot more easy and convenient for me. I also like that they have plenty of parking available and the monthly assigned parking is VERY reasonable. They’re also very pet friendly and have doggy poop stations throughout the complex. My only complaint is the amount of dog poop i came across across the complex and it was a little annoying that people did not do a great job of picking up after their pets but there is only so much the complex could do about that.Overall, Vue Kirkland was pleasant and I definitely recommend living here!
Lazy management!!These buildings look nice but are really shoddy apartments built it the 80s. The insides are dressed up nice, new flooring and appliances. The floors and so thin that I hear everything my upstairs neighbors do. Even small things that they should be able to do in their house. Also the sub floors are not screwed to the joists but only nailed so every step the take up there makes cracking sound of the wood sliding on the nail. That being said, my neighbors are not trying to be quite. There 2 or 3 kids up there, I can hear them jumping and tumbling and playing fetch with the dog well after quiet time. (past 10 pm)The management has done nothing get them to be quiet. It has been a nightmare living here because of this. I sleep with earbud jammed into my ears with podcast playing and I still get woken up late at night all the time. It turns out that the maintenance guys sister lives above me so nobody in the office is going to do anything about my complaints. The office has posted hours but dont count on anyone being there during those hours. There is no drop box so you have physically hand the rent check to someone. i go there all the time during the posted hours and there sing in the window saying back at such a time. one time i went 3 hours before closing, the were out. so i went shopping and came back, only to find they had closed on hour early. EVEN after i moved out, i came to pay something and the office was closed in the middle of the day on a weekday. I had to come back another day to pay something a month after my lease.Living here was crazy i cant believe i put up with it for almost a year
The office staff is great. I live in their Sycamore layout and the layout makes its 675 sq ft feel huge. Very quiet neighborhood and relaxed.
(Dont tell me to call your office because youre sore about my rating. Grow up!)
Had a great experience living at this complex! Whenever there is a question we had or something we needed it was always addressed right away. Community was always kept and clean, staff is wonderful to work wish, and the amenities and parcel boxes were a great bonus to our lovely home!
Two amazing things about this property:1. This place has the best leasing management team in Mellissa and Gia. Theyre like Batman and Robin, but in taking care of customers instead of busting baddies.2. There is a duck pond.
James came in to take a look at our washer and caulk our tub. Did an excellent job, washer is working great and tub is caulked.
In response to the beautifully written response by the staff here at The Vue. I have to laugh. I have tried to call and even drop in. People that live here knows that its almost impossible to reach you.You are not at all truthful in your responses to your reviews.I wrote a review on your site warning people to not move here. You are raising your rents for a poorly renovated apartment complex. There are mold issues in many apartments. The noise issues are beyond annoying. You hear the neighbors using the toilet.Dogs bark practically all day. The owner is obviously not there.Bottom line ...... Do not move here. The staff are great talkers!!!
Very misleading and dishonest so far. It only got worse from there. The walls are extremely thin, so its incredibly noisy. Management did construction on the walls without giving 48 us hours notice, making our home temporarily uninhabitable as the noise was literally shaking our unit. The pool is very dirty. The bathrooms our outdated and reek of mold. Everyone throws their trash in the hallways because the dumpsters are so far away that they might as well be owned by the local hospital. And on top of all of that the units are unbelievably hot in the summer. They will raise your rent for your insanely tiny unit. Theres no reason a studio should cost nearly $1800. As someone that works in real estate and property management, I noticed how ridiculous this place is in their actions. Im not one to complain or make a scene, so hopefully they reach and resolve these issues. Until then I highly recommend you avoid Vue Apartments like the plague!
Great place to live. Quiet neighborhood, awesome management, friendly help, and they really care about the people living there. I was very happy living there
I have lived in a lot of apartments and how well an apartment complex does is based on I believe their staffing in my opinion. These apartments have amazing staff members who are very kind and accommodating. I have had nothing but good things to say about this place. They are very nice apartments as well!Honestly one of the best places I’ve ever lived, I haven’t had any issues since living with them and that is RARE for apartments, the alliances are nice, good sized rooms and closet and the staff actually cares about how well they do! And Gianna and Mellissa have been fantastic and so sweet! If they would have had two bedroom two baths I would have for sure stayed and rented with them but unfortunately they don’t have them at that location :(
I lived here in a 1 bedroom apartment for a year. I have no complaints. The complex is up kept very well. There is a dog spa for you to bathe your dog and there are dog areas with trash cans and are always stocked with poop bags. They have parcel pending here which is nice when deliveries happen out of normal business hours.***update: just a heads up they will take most of your security deposit. I ended up paying a total of $421 for capet cleaning, cleaning services, paint, etc.
UPDATE: Went from 3 Stars to 2. Just an FYI for those looking. Improvements to the buildings have increased and Its all coming together. However, the buildings are old and they have to enter from time to time. So if you value privacy then Id keep looking. Ive lived here a little over 2 years and they are on their 3rd Manager, going on a 4th due to the third going on maternity leave. Be careful of what you say because the manager is easy to offend (Lack of thick skin, and Experience). As per the Owners Response I did take them up on the offer to speak with them, but after one conversation Im only allowed to communicate through e-mail. A little hypocritical, its ok for them to enter, but I can not LOL. Anyway, opinions very and good luck if you choose The Vue!OLD: Staff is great and accommodating when needed. Improvements to apartments are noticed and could use a little attention to detail. The 405 and transit system are right around the corner. A bit pricey but good location.
I lived here for about 10 months now and I love it. Its well maintained and I have never seen garbage in the hallway. Its well kept. I saw some of the negative reviews on here and I was wondering if they are for another apartment because I havent really seen any of the things people complaint about. I look at the rent on the website all the time out of curiosity, and I have never see a studio listed as $1900. The highest I have seen is $1799 for 2 bedrooms, so I cant imagine a studio would cost more than a 2 bedroom. Are we living in the same place? I have come across other apartments with the word Vue in their name, so Im wondering if the bad reviews were written for the another place?
Very nice community and neighborhood. The rent is probably a bit high for the location. Grounds are well kept. More sand/salt during freezing temps is needed in some places where ice builds up. My ceiling fan light still does not work correctly, the remote control from another apartment interferes with it. But nice amenities, everything else works, washer/dryer, dishwasher, kitchen, good heating even though thermostat is right above heating vent which probably makes thermostat less accurate. A little hard to get office to return my recorded phone message a month ago. But overall a nice place to live.
Do you want to walk a mile to take your trash out? Yeah, me neither. Dont get sweet talked into moving here by management. Do yourself a favor and find a place that cares about their tenants/reputation.
UPDATE--2017-2018..Julie is gone. And I have to say, things run better. She just was not a good manager. I moved from the two bed into a sweet little one bedroom. The fun has been downsizing. I am glad to have left bldg. A. There were so many problems. Cars driving in late at night, loud parties, fights--they were a pain and hard to live in the same bldg. The new bldg I am in is so peaceful.Just perfect. Neighbors are peaceful. And saved myself a bit of rent money with moving to a 1 bedroom.9 years in the same complex, and I can finally give it more than 2 stars. 6Jan2018Past Review 2014-2016--for the last year I have complained about the kitchen disposal and the bathroom toilet tonight both broke---I have left messages on voice mail, email and they do not respond--ya, I still live here--more fool I---they are more worried about the outside of the complex to get people to rent here (dont do it) than they are about the insides of the apartments--they keep telling us they do not have service people hired yet---another lie as the money is being spent on painting rotten wood decks and other pretty stuff---if my toilet and disposal are not REPLACED THIS WEEK, I am calling a plumber and I will charge the costs to my rent!!!!!! are you listening---Vue----this week 15-19August 2016
Terrible neighbors.
Changed my review from 1 star to 5 stars after being in this place for 3+years. Real change has occurred here with the new management making every effort to make this place a better place. The manager and the assistant are kind and understanding.Maintenance is done when you have something to get fixed. It has turned to be a place to desire to live. Kudos new Vue management team.
Great place, peaceful and quiet as far as living next to a hospital can be.. Treated well by management.
Would NEVER recommend. Way overpriced and management is mean. Every experience we have tried to communicate in a nice way has been shut down and belittled. I am extremely unsatisfied and have only been here for 2 months. Avoid the hassle of this place and look further for a better apartment community. $1765 for a studio....! NO WAY you can find better
I lived at this apartment for only one year and am so happy to have left. Ive lived in the Kirkland, Redmond, Bellevue area for my entire live and have moved many times, Ive never had a worse experience. I wont bore you with the details but will list a few problems Ive had:- The office is completely unresponsive whether you try and contact by phone or stopping in, no one is ever there.- When I first moved in they never cleaned the unit or painted the walls. This eventually caused an issue with my only indoor cat who got immensely sick because of all the fleas from the previous owner.- The consistent roadwork being done on the property even continuing through the night till 4AM. How they got a permit to work in Kirkland that late.I could go on and on about how horrible this place is but really am writing this because I dont want other people to make the same mistake I did. The rent is slightly cheaper than the rest of the apartments around there, but definitely not worth the hell I was put though when living there.Just remember, you always have other options and do your research before making a decision that you will be stuck with for at least a year.
I would argue this place is over priced for what you get. I understand the Eastside is very expensive, but I dont think these units live up that standard. Appliances and other fixturing were poorly installed to the point of minor inconvenience and frustration. I put in two separate work orders to get a lightbulb replaced which was burnt out upon move in and it was never replaced in my 6 month lease.
Complained about noise upstairs for months to the manager (Julia) she warned the person over 3 times, then said if I wanted anything to happen I needed to take him to court. I shared documentation and continued to complain but no compensation. The noise wasnt so much the person, but the fact that the building is made so poorly you can hear every step. I can constantly smell mold in the bathroom, I asked for help with that and was told this was normal when temperate changes, but this has been happening all year. I was told to email Julia for all questions and concerns and she hasnt replied to my last 3 emails in over 2 weeks. The rent is way to high to be putting up with this stuff. Do not live here, I will not be renewing my lease.
It should be a 5stars..great maintenance service, great staffs..the only thing is that we are paying 3parkings but some people still dont understand that to have a parking space they have to pay for it 25 a month. some neighbors parked on my spots many times, just like today again. we came home so tired and found that somebody parked on my spot.so i have to park another side.is there anyway they can fix this problem?? atleast towed the car away..
Very pet friendly, Great staff, beautiful grounds, nice area, and not unreasonably priced.
Rebranded from Totem Lake Apartments, presumably to escape the previous horrible reviews. Managed by Riverstone Residential. If this were the last place to live in an area i liked, Id define a bigger area. Just dont.
WARNING; DO NOT TRUST THESE CROOK MANAGEMENT FOLKS.If you like to deal with a bunch of crook and theft and dishonest apartment managers then you are in the right place. We got an apartment for my Mom from Vue Kirkland Apartment disrespectful and unprofessional management 3 years ago and from start, they were so ruth and unfriendly and more toward races and hater whenever we asked them to do something that it was related to their crappy and old building. We kept quiet all the time and tried to let go of all their bad and disrespectful behaviors until her apartment got flooded with water one day from her upstairs neighbors faulty old water tank. All of her stuff got water damaged and there was no way she could stay at her apartment and the Vue Kirkland apartment told her she can rent the place until they get everything fixed up and dry so that she can come back again and they also said they will take care of the cost of the temporary rental BIG LIE.We have to move her out of her apartment and rent BNB until they fix her place which took them 2 months and after we sent them the rental bills they ignored and never responded or pay for what they promised to pay which was their responsibility. Then they start played cat and mouse with my old Mom and kept coming with excuses after excuses asking for nonsense stuff which we provided everytime they asked something even if it was none sense. They knew she cannot defend herself and she even forgives them all the damages they have done to her personal properties and she said its ok and it was not the apartment fault. So you can see why they were taking advantage of her and they knew she is not a person to go after them. And after lots of back and forth with these dishonest people working at VUE KIRKLAND APARTMENT, we got to the point that we need to tell peoples how dishonest and crooks and racism these peoples are.NOTE: They kept changing their manager and unfriendly staff so they can blame the previous one. They really think they can fool peoples by doing that.So we are going to post a video review and file a complain anywhere we can against these crook and thief apartment management and owners.DO NOT RENT THIS PLACE OR YOU WILL BE SORRY LATER.I HAVE ALL THE WATER DAMAGE VIDEOS AND PHOTOS ALONG WITH ALL THE COST OF PERSONAL DAMAGES AND WE ARE GOING TO TAKE THIS MATTER TO AN ATTORNEY AND SEE HOW SMART THEY CAN PLAY WITH LAW.THERE ARE LOTS OF GOOD APARTMENT BUILDING WITH HONEST MANAGEMENT TEAM AND ALL YOU NEED TO DO KEEP SEARCHING AND MAKE SURE TO READ THEIR REVIEWS ONLINE AND LEARN FROM OTHER PEOPLES EXPERIENCE.
Just stopped by to get rental information. They have this illogical guideline that even though you pay a security deposit of 500 dollars you HAVE to move on within 7 days days or you forfeit your apartment AND your security deposit. Tell me whats the point of paying a security deposit if the apartment isnt yours to hold until you can move out of the final month of your current place? That makes no sense. So in effect according to the lady who toured me, i would have to give them 500, then full rent in 7 days WHILE still living at my current place for the final month which Id owe them also. The lack of logic and customer service ive received makes me feel for the tenets if a problem ever came up.
Girlfriend lived here - and it was obnoxious. Constantly having us move things around because they were fixing the apartment. Theres hardly anyone ever at the office, and the signs they leave to say when they will be back are never correct. The most helpful person in the entire office was a maintenance guy who got my mail one day after the girl working simply decided she didnt want to work anymore on a Saturday. After move out they charged her a carpet replacement for for a carpet they were going to replace anyway, although they deny that. Id believe that if I didnt watch every other apartment around hers have the carpet replaced when people moved out. Seriously, Id rather talk politics with Trump that deal with these people. They are rude as hell. Not to mention they are charging far more than a studio apartment of that size is worth. You can find places just down the street for less - dont waste your time here.
No air conditioning. Way too hot.
First off, the maintenance staff and office staff are nice and especially helpful within their power. AMC management is pretty poor run company to say the least. We were on auto-pay, and it didnt work for our last months rent for some reason and didnt realize that until there was an notice saying we had 48hrs to pay or vacate. We had never missed a payment, they made us go to the bank and pay with a cashiers check, then charged us a $125 late fee. Even after the office staff contacted payroll, they wouldnt waive it. Its one thing if there was a pattern of us being late with payments, but this left us on a bad note.I would be careful before renting here, you cant break the lease without a 2+ months rent penalty.
So let me start off by saying I am not some robot or employee of The Vue.My name is Anthony. I’ve lived in the Seattle area for about 4 years now. Been moving from apartment to apartment for work reasons. This apartment was in an ideal location. I work down south and have a girlfriend up north. Doesn’t hurt the price was right for the apartment I was looking at. However, I was extremely worried when reading over the reviews. Like seriously second guessed signing the lease I was so worried. Most of the negativity stems from Manager / staff response times. I thought that I would be able to work through the issues so I signed the lease.Well fast forward to living here for a few months and long story short I had some really crappy neighbors. Selfish and couldn’t care less about being a disturbance. I tried working with them but no luck. Turned to the manager’s office and they could not have been more helpful. I will admit it’s difficult to reach them via phone at times, but via email or when you’re able to speak with them they are very very helpful. Melissa is very hard worker and has worked with me for months.Eventually the office found a resolution for me.Also I had some issues with my dishwasher and a service request was put and completed in a day or two. So not sure where some of the reviews talking about things being broken for weeks comes from.So point here is that either the management staff has changed dramatically since the bulk of the negative reviews or (big surprise) commenters online are maybe a little dramatic and blow things out of proportion. At the end of the day you get what you pay for in regards to appliances and quality of décor, but I strongly disagree with complaints related to the staff.
Note that this review pertains to the management people who were responsible for Vue Kirkland prior to 29th October, 2015.This place was beyond a shadow of doubt the worst managed apartment complex I have ever come across. The former management (prior to 29th October 2015, since the management has currently changed) not only plumbed the depths of ineptitude and incompetence, but were also completely unresponsive and never around. To accomplish anything with them was virtually an effort in futility. To give you an example, I would walk over to the leasing office in person many times, only to find it closed, for the majority of the day sometimes, and at other times, when one called, there would be no answer, no matter when one called during the day. Winning the lottery is probably easier to do than getting lucky enough to have gotten somebody who is *paid* to work there to answer the ruddy phone. And the woman who managed the affairs was completely insincere, she would say she would get back to you, and would never do so - for weeks! I once had to go there in person after trying to reach her continuously for one entire week without success, and I called almost every hour or so for a whole week - simply beggars belief that any management could be this bad.If you went to a dentist and voluntarily asked her/him to pull out all your teeth using only pliars, a hammer and a chisel as their tools, for a whole ten hour period, that would seem like a joyous day in comparison to dealing with the erstwhile management of this apartment complex!I really hope that the current management can do better - they have a lot of trust and respect to win back from former tenants like me. The apartment complex itself is a pretty decent place, I would have stayed there if the management back then had been even passably good, but alas, they were ridiculously and utterly incompetent.
It is unfortunate that I cant POST with no stars. In a nutshell, I highly recommend this apartment to whom are extremely bored with their lives so they need some unexpected unpleasant moments with your apartment. For future residents, please be sure you have considered followings before sign the contract :D--------------------------------------------------------- Enjoy cleansing mildew every other week.- Prepare for every two week inspections AND every other month constructions in your apartment.- Be pleasant at 48-hour unilateral notices from the management company so they can enter your apartment without having your permissions.- Have light weight furnitures to move around for more spaces when wall constructions are ongoing.- And dont mind if the workers are touching/moving your belongings.- Anticipate rent increase attempts from the management company after constructions anytime during your lease term. (which is ILLEGAL)I think I was still very generous, since I didnt mention small things such as limited space for the garbage container (only one available), poor management office responses, knocking on the door from strangers, no security cameras in the parking lot, and neighbors noises (which can be happen in other communities too).
Maintenance is super responsive!
I wrote a review in Yelp as well. In a nutshell, nice looking apartment complex, HORRIBLE management. Dont live here.
HORRIBLE. if you want to live in your place for more than 1 year DO NOT choose here. Lease renewal they charge $200-300 more a month for rent. RIDICULOUS!!!
Rude, horrible management especially the older woman in the office. Overpriced for how old and underwhelming the unit is.
Units are TOO HOT, gym has nothing to clean machines with YUCK and tv is broken in there too.
The repair was taken care of promptly after reporting it.
I used to live in this complex when it was called Totem Lake Apartments as it was transitioning to Vue. During this time they removed several trashcans and recycle bins from around the complex which lead to the trashcans always overflowing as trash was not picked up on a regular basis. The staff in the office was kind when there were no issues, but completely unresponsive, apathetic and at time confrontational when there were issues. Also their after hours maintenance phone was never set up, so if you call the after hours emergency number you will not get a response.
Excellent, family-friendly, caring staff
Staff is amazing and so helpful!
Great experience moving in.

I gave you that one star a year ago and you just gave me an ansewr like a month ago it means 11 months after I left my review,I think that’s quite clear why I did so
Pool is very dirty.
Moldy bathrooms, irresponsible management.
