The outside of this place is deceiving. The inside is beautiful and clean. I needed to remove gel polish of my nails and get a plain manicure with a clear coat. My nails were weak after having gel polish done twice. I was told the manicure would be $15. I felt the manicurist was rushing and not doing a good job. After everything was done and a poorly applied clear coat, the man told me $20. I still tipped him $5. Figured lesson learned. My main objective was to get the gel off and it was done. I don’t plan to go back there again because the service was poor quality and the fee changed after the work was done.

Anyone that says this place is clean, is lying. There is hair all over the wax room. On the floors, the walls, EVERYWHERE. 🤢Its been 3 months since Ive been here and I still have pitting in my nails from the drill. They drill way too much of your nail off so when the acrylic starts to break, and it will, it takes your nail with it. They absolutely DESTROYED my nails, for a ridiculous amount of money. They did not massage, lotion or aek me to wash my hands.. i asked twice to clip my cuticles, she said yeah and never did it.. This place needs to go.

I didnt get the picture i wanted it was not ombré an i asked for longer than i got an she didn’t give that, an the lady left to go eat while in the middle of doing my nails an came back 20 minutes later. Also different colors got on my white nails an my one my nails are scratched alr.

I got a pedicure and an acrylic set with gel polish back in April. My nails had these ugly dents in them as if they didnt use enough acrylic and werent shaped properly. I took them off and recently went back to give them another chance. On 05/28, I got the same thing again. This time it looked like my acrylics didnt dry properly and were too thick. I brought it up to the nail tech and he touched them and said they were fine even though they were sticky.On 05/30, two days later, the gel polish came off and it looked like a crater on my nail. I also noticed bubbles on my other nails and when it was touched, the polish moved. I went back 06/01 to get them fixed and unfortunately got the same man who did my nails last time. He looked at my nails and only fixed 3 out of the 8 nails that needed work and they still look bad. I finally get back home and out of nowhere the gel on my toes came off too.Never again will I spend any money here and I would advise everyone else to do the same.

Pedicure, and gel removal process, was wonderful. The technician was polite and did an amazing job. The woman at the front desk was something entirely different. She was rude and abrupt...both checking in and out. Im not sure Ill be going back.

This place I visited regular a year ago and was satisfied with their services.They now have lost their touch. Cleanliness not up to parr left out several ways of servicing like hot towels, too fast a massage. No cuticle attention. The whole experience was rushed and not well done. Will never come back.

I have been going here for several years. Always polite and friendly. I always make an appointment with the person I like, she does a great job. However I am constantly waiting while she does eyebrows or needs to go paint someone else’s nails. I’m always polite because it wasn’t a big deal at that time. Now however, after they re-opened from covid the price display disappeared. To get a full set before was $40. When went back she literally spent 20 minutes on my nails and charged me $50. I was not happy. I would go back for a fill and she would charge me $40. Then they got new furniture! Also, they no longer take credit cards but have an ATM handy for you to take out cash to pay them. Now I get gel powder white and natural pink. It’s always the same. I do not do color. Today I go and have old ones that looked horrible off and news ones on. My bill…… $70! I looked at her with disgust. While doing my nails she was also doing another woman’s nails. I made an appointment! I was a loyal customer. With the price hikes and the constant sitting while she works on other people, I have reached my limit. You don’t treat loyal customers this way. I’m looking for a new place!

Poor service! not to mention the amount of ants I seen crawling the floors. Under one desk, there was a mouse trap. Disgustingly rude! I waited for 2 hours for help, yet still my nails are not done. Each employee gave me disgusted looks and whispered behind my back. It was just awful

ZERO STARS. I have never received such poor service. The manicure was awful, but the way they went about fixing the issue was far worse. I went in for ANC and chose a light pink color. I was then left to wait for a while before someone began to do my nails. Once the “manicure” began he grabbed my hands with dirty sticky gloves. He then just started to do my nails; there was poor and minimal shaping, no pushing back of my cuticles back, no clipping away of dead skin, no massage, no lotion, he didn’t even ask me to wash my hands after shards of plastic and powder began to crust onto my hands. He charged me before he had finished, good thing he did, I would have walked out once I saw the final product. When I looked at my nails the natural nail color was showing through and it looked like a child had painted them. I said something to a lady at the counter and she insisted it was my own fault for picking a color that was too light and I “should have known better.” I was shocked and then she charged me to “fix” the disaster in the first place. When I pointed out that my cuticles were never trimmed I was told that “they don’t do that with ANC.” I was furious. I will never go back and I truly hope they go out of business because they certainly don’t deserve to operate one.

I received a manicure/pedicure on a Saturday afternoon. By Sunday evening I noticed that the nail polish at the tips of my nails was wearing off - in less than a day. I went back to the salon on Monday evening and I was told that with regular nail polish a manicure only last one to two days. 😮 This has never been the case in the past. Im 56 years old and Ive had many a manicure with regular nail polish that lasted at least a full 7 days, sometimes 2 weeks. They didnt offer for me to have an extra coat put on or come back or a credit. Perhaps this was due to our language differences but I will never go back there.

I went Friday to get a fill in, a pedicure,and eyebrows. Was therefore well over 2 hours. Next day one of my nails broke while I was getting clothes out of the closet. I went back Sunday to repair it. The lady approached me and said what did you do? Our products dont do that...you did that. she proceeded to argue with me when all I wanted to do was get my nail repaired. I wasnt even asking to get it done for free. Terrible service and attitudes. And the the man who originally did my nails was very rough. When it was time to pay they gave me a hard time using my card because they didnt Wanna take on the fees from wherever. They insisted I use the ATM which I refuse to do. We dont like handling money during the pandemic. I do not suggest using this location EVER!!!!!!

Very clean spa as these spas go. I love that one of the owners daughters greets you at the door on her inline skates and endearingly gets you signed in and pointed in the right direction. The technicians are kind and friendly albeit with a language barrier. Peaceful music plays in the background. Never pressured to buy more. My pedicures are always detailed, relaxing and durable. I love this place.

I visited Tranquility Nail Spa for the first time since the beginning of the pandemic and was very upset by their lack of safety protocols. Several staff were not wearing masks, including the woman who greets you at the door. Also, though they have 15 or so chairs for pedicures, they sat a customer right next to me - maybe a distance of 2 feet between our chairs - instead of skipping a chair when the room was otherwise empty. I’ve had bad experiences here in the past and decided to give them another shot, needless to say I won’t be returning again.

They were very inattentive while doing my nails. They were all talking to each other and not talking to the costumers unless They had a question.

A little pricey but excellent service & great job with distancing protocols.

Terrible pedicure and it was my birthday.

Went here with my 7 y/o daughter for her first manicure. The place is large and basically clean. That’s the good news. The nail polishes are all old looking and messy. The woman who was going to do my daughter’s nails rushed us to choose a color and then told me that we would not be able to sit next to one another b/c the manicurists cant switch stations. The woman who helped me told me that my daughter would be fine. She made me wait a while before staring my nails, didnt push in my cuticles, “massaged” my hands with gloves on? And then made me get up and go wash my hands after she put cream on? My daughter was happy w her nails but not happy to be separated from me.I would not go back to tranquility spa. Take your business elsewhere.

There was a decent amount of wait time. once someone finally got to my nails, they messed up numerous times on my nails. there are bumps and almost transparent parts of my anc nails. it took an hour and twenty five minutes for her to finish and they don’t even look presentable. definitely not worth $35.

Extremely disappointed, hands and feet are getting infected. Been going to this place for years. Last Thursday I went and asked for 40.00 special pedicure, which I always get. Well when I checked out she charged me 60.00, when I questioned she said to remove old. That is totally crazy, Ive never had that charge, felt ripped off. Noticed tools being used are old and worn, especially the electric tools to remove old polish. Dont see them cleaning. I am very upset, I have been dedicated to this place for years and my hands and feet get infections every time now. Wont be returning, feel I was ripped off. They dont seem to care. They know me well and know I wouldnt complain for no good reason.

Called days in advanced to make an appointment for 2 people to get a pedicure at 11am. They had us sit in the chairs and soak our feet in almost warm water. The first pedicure started at 11:28 and the other at 11:32... so much for an appointment. The one lady was just rude and didnt even respond when asked a question. The guy was nice.

I have been going to Yen and her family since the early 2000s. They are the best around and always accommodating. I always love seeing the kids running around too!

If i could I wouldnt even give them 1 star!! They did the worse job on my nails. I never go here it was my first time and it was for my sisters wedding ..... I was constantly telling the lady that they dont look good and that they were not shoped right and they were bumpy she was ignoring me. So I asked her to stop and not to finish I would go to were I normally go in Lagrange where I live . So when i went to pay they tried charging me a arm and a leg and I told her I would not pay the full price. End of the story is I had her cut them down and did not pay anything ! I would not reccomend this place to anyone!!

I always used to come just for pedicures with my mom and sister, but last time I got my nails done also. I have to say, thats the longest amount of time gel has stayed on my nails. Definitely coming back for more than just a pedi!

I myself had Kevin who did a amazing job on my mani/pedi, however we went in as a large wedding party. The bride and brides maids nails came out terrible. The staff was extremelyrude. We dropped a large sum of money to have such poor service. Wouldnt recommend this place. Cost doesnt equal quality.

On my last visit, I was not impressed with ANC REMOVAL OR THE NEW ANC COLOR. It was not what I chose.

If I could I would give this place a negative rating! !!!The manicurist was awful. Aside from very curt questions totally ignored me. When I tried to ask something she was dismissive and did not attend to my needs at all. Spent time turned away from me speaking constantly with her coworkers while working on my hands without actually paying attention to what she was doing.Products used were terrible and left my hands and feet worse off than when I arrived.The place appeared filthy and it grossed me out.I certainly will never return or suggest to others to return!! BEWARE! Place is not tranquil or spa like in any way, shape or form and s total waste of money and time!!!

Pedicure great. Nails awful. Filled my nails in 15 mins. A fill should take at least 30-50 mins if done properly & professionally. They’re lumpy bumpy, not smooth at all. And 2 days later the polish is chipping. A man did my pedi. He did awesome. If they give u a woman I’d suggest you leave. Also, they rush u thru everything. When u are getting a treatment u should feel relaxed, not like you’re running a 50-yard dash. And the drill she used to do the fill burned like fire though my nail. It hurt for 12 hours. I hope I have a nail bed left under my acrylic.

I had an appointment with Ha, she was super busy, couldn’t do it I got a man. He cut 2 of my toes then stands up and starts yelling at me at the end saying he didn’t have time to finish my toes other people are waiting: I asked for 3 diamonds on my feet at the beginning, he forgot, then when I asked for them at the end he starts yelling? Extremely unprofessional, rude .

I have had my nails professionally done for about 20yrs..and never have I been so upset with how my nails turned out. The experience alone was awful. I decided to try a new place since my daughter and her friend go here. My appointment was at 5:30, I show up at 5:15, pick out a color and wait. At about 6 someone comes to me and has me sit at a table. At this time another lady got up and left because 2 ppl were taken in front of her. Still waiting I finally had one of the nail ppl come up to me and call me Jessica. I said no and stated my name. Then she seemed a little frantic looking for the lady named Jessica. (She walked out) she came back over and asked what I was getting done to my nails I told her ANC with tips. They seemed a little annoyed because I was getting tips. They wrapped my nails and let me sit for about 30 minutes. Another nail person came over and told me to sit at her table she started taken off the foil wraps and not all the ANC was off my nails. Again seemed annoyed. Once all the ANC was off she started with the tips. Two were put on crooked, she said it would be fine. She was moving really fast like she was in a rush. She brought out the pink power which I wanted a light pink it was darker than the nail in the showcase. She was dipping my fingers in the power and leaving clumps on my nails. I asked her a few questions just out of curiosity she looked at me and said “don’t worry about it I know what I’m doing” she badly filed my nails to be smooth and even. She finally finished at 7pm. At the end my pinky nail looked like a boxing glove my pointer finger was lumpy she didn’t clean under the nails, there was sticky residue all over my fingers that didn’t wash off. I was so upset that I went to Walmart got acetone and went straight home and soaked them off. I will never go back to this place again!!!

Im extremely upset. They charged me 38$ for a basic polish french style pedicure. She messed up my skin next to my nail, made my toe knuckle bleed w the scrub thing AND didnt even use pink polish. She just put the white polish and the silver line I asked for in the beginning to seperate the white from the rest. I have gotten spa pedicures in french style for 30$ that were so much nicer & no pain. I wish I knew how to add a picture to this to show you how bad it is. I told them they are over priced, that it was by far the worst pedicure I ever got & I would never be back. All she said was oh I so sorry, next time I do more beautiful so that showed me she doesnt understand english well because I wont come back. Only gave 1 star because you cant give a 0.

After waiting an hour with my daughter; we went with mani pedi. I chose a dark color which would need two layers and she didn’t even put a clear top coat. Ugliest pedi ever I had to come home and fix it. Same with my gel mani if I wasn’t so close I wouldn’t of noticed but she was hesitant to put one more layer of gel. But I insisted. My nails came out ok but for 100 dollars plus tips Was not worth it at all.

Longest wait time ever. We came in and a lady came in looong after us with no appointment and got in before we did. This is crazy. And as we sit here waiting all they do is stare and talk amongst them selves .

This is a great place. Its gives me privatecy that I didnt have before. Ive been here 5 times and each person has given me a good mani-pedi, the prices are higher than the norm but if you want it done the right way come here and youll be pleased.

Awful! Spa looks luxurious and high end but high NYC prices. For a gelle manicure (40 dollars!!!)...I got what was supposed to be called a mood gelle manicure it changes color according to body heat.Well it didnt! In fact the gelle manicure didnt last one week (they should last 2). I believe the polish was watered down.Also, the entire time I was getting my manicure the manicurist was complaining to me and her colleague about some unpleasant incident that really upset her that was totally inane and that I had no desire to listen to!I come to a salon to relax. When I tried to engage her in a more pleasant topic she was totally disengaged with me.Never again. Forget luxury I would rather go to a rinky dink salon and get great service!
