Great Barber Shop.....I live in Erwin and won a free haircut as a door prize in Mountain Empire Football Foundation Golf Tournament. Was worth the drive and will make the drive again. Cody Wilder was very professional and gave me a wonderful haircut quickly and efficiently. Cody displayed exceptional pride being part of a great team. Had it not come up in conversation, I would have never known he was not the owner. Also, I wonder how many people a day try to pick up that quarter on the sidewalk?

Went there for the first time today, came out with a great haircut and beard trim. I will be going back Im the future and would recommend this shop. Especially if you have a big beard like mine. Clean, quick, a good value, and most importantly a great cut.

The guys in there are fun to chat with. I came in from out of town to get a haircut because i had been on the road to long to go meet my normal person. He did a great job cutting my hair. It was quick in and out maybe 15 minutes.

Called in for a haircut; they brought me in for an appointment within the hour. Received a wonderful haircut, and had a very good conversation.Would recommend (especially for folks with curly hair like me - its hard to find someone who knows how to cut it properly).The only downside is that they do not accept cards, and you have to pay by cash.

I moved here over a year ago and just discovered this place. Best haircut experience Ive had in years. I usually go to the chain places but have gotten tired of playing haircut roulette Who knows what youll get. But this place, is a TRUE barber shop. Im a vet and miss the no nonsense, no drama haircut. I asked for a short haircut off the ears. Thats what I got. Salons dont get it. This place does! This will be my regular place now.

All the barbers do a great job and above all they are honest about what they can or cant do.Its well worth my time to travel from Erwin to get my flattop leveled up by Todd. Josh did an awesome job cutting my hair, I told him kind of what I was thinking about doing but was unsure and open to suggestions since my hair is very thick, coarse, and wavy. He told me what he thought would look good and described it in a way so that I could picture so I agreed to it and Im glad I did. Ill be going back regularly. Check them out!

Best barber shop I have been to possibly ever. My son gets his haircut there every 1 to 2 months and no matter the style request they are able to do it. Only tip is to get there 2 hours before closing time or you might not get a cut because they stay so busy.

Hour or longer wait sometimes but barbers all do a great job.

Josh is hands down the best barber in tennessee. He does litterally anything you want hin to.

I was there yesterday & got the WORST haircut I have ever had in my life. The guy in the 3rd chair I wont even say barber because he definitely isnt one. Their prices are outrageous for what you get dont even have senior rates. I cant believe all these good reviews. I guess a lot of people dont care what kind of haircut they get. These so called barbers seem only be able to give one kind of cut & that is a bad cut. If I could rate it I would give them a minus 5 star or worse. I dont see how they stay in business!!!

Love the experience and passion these guys bring to cutting hair! Since moving to East Tennessee a year ago I have gone to Wamplers for every hair cut and love the results every time. Glad i found a local barber shop that does it right!

My son will not go anywhere else! He had his very first cut, when he was little over two years old, by Josh. He is now eight and absolutely refuses anyone but Josh. All of the barbers are very friendly, reasonably priced, and absolutely willing to fit you in! Try them, you won’t be disappointed, and well worth the wait, if there is one!

This place is fantastic! Great people, great service, and great quality work that is reminiscent of the old barber shop days. The decor makes you feel right at home in this old school, cash only establishment.

I just wanted to let you know the level of service this shop provides. I have a 2 year old who is extremely difficult to cut his hair. And he has a ton of hair. The barber Preston has always worked with us, but today he went above and beyond. He tried cutting my childs hair for 2 hours with plenty of breaks so my little man could walk around. Preston was kind and gentle to my son and even stayed nearly an hour after close trying to accommodate us. In the end we left happy with the haircut, and Preston has a customer for life. I honestly cant recommend this shop enough.

Needed a quick cut while on lunch break. Got what I wanted and more. They was professional and my waiting time was very minimal. I didnt expect the straight razor shave on my neck, or the hot towel. The prices are crazy low! If I lived nearby I would come here regularly.

First time in, Preston hooked me up on a great cut and style. He gave very helpful advice about maintenance and stying once Im back in the wild on my own, which is very helpful since Im hair illiterate.

Josh, Todd, and Jon are fantastic barbers. All 3 have cut my hair. If you are looking for a great, kid-friendly, classic barber shop, this is it!

Most of the people on here seemed to have overwhelmingly positive experiences, and I can attest that the barbers were very proffessional and kind, but I dont appreciate being charged 22 dollars for a beard trim and neck shave. I told the barber that I wanted to grow my hair out, but wanted it to be evened out as I had it faded on the sides previously, he suggested I leave it and just let it grow and that he would trim the dead ends. He didnt trim the dead ends and only thinned my beard, trimmed my eyebrows and shaved my neck. Why then was I charged the 14 dollars for a haircut, and then the additional 8 for the beard trim? My beard wasnt thinned out under my neck, or under my lip and nose either.Im not a confrontational person so I didnt feel comfortable bringing it up at the moment, and they were also incredibly busy. I can appreciate the need for expedition when youre that busy, but I feel like I was taken advantage of as a consumer. Not a good feeling.
