Went there for the first time. It was nice and clean. The security lady was polite and let us know where we needed to go. All the ladies here were nice and smiling

They dont answer the phone all the time, been trying get through to them for 2 weeks now nothing

400 Stefek Dr, Killeen, TX 76542The hardest part of the office was finding it.The wait was about 10 minutes with 3 people in front of me. The lady who serviced me was polite and quick. She gave me all the forms I needed to fill out, offered to answer any questions if I had them or if I wanted her to look over the forms before I submit. Theres precautions in place for Covid - Masks, 6ft apart, limited people in the building and fill out forms in your car. They also have 2 drop boxes for forms by the door.

Ive been calling for almost 2 weeks and no one answers the phone. It just rings until it hangs up.

They listen to what i had to say, & didnt share my infomation with anyone else. The people i talk to wasnt rude or didnt curse me out

Forgotten passwords can be the most aggravating thing especially when you are needing help. The gentleman at the office was not only patient but he didnt give up. We left with a new password and feeling like we were cared for...thank you.

Worse office I ever been too .. I lost my EBT card and wanted to get it replace, well I had to wait 10 min for the employee to get off her personal phone until she helped me . I don’t understand why they can’t just do their job right !!! It’s so simple !!!! Ghetto people I swear !!!!!!

I finally got approved for SNAP after Months and said they were going to mail a lone star card, I told the agent at that time I was actually going to go to the food stamp office in the morning to get a card, he said that is fine but Im going to place the order anyway.The next day I walked an hour and a half to the office and when I got up to the lone star card window the lady made me stand there for about 10 minutes, the office was dead about 3 clients there all being served. When she finally started to help she looked up my info and said I couldnt receive a card from the office unless my order was listed as expedited or its been past 7 days since it was mailed.As I left disappointed hungry and worried about how I was going to eat for the next 7 days I thought I would try and call the lone star hotline and see if they could help by putting a expedite order on my card, well guess what she said. No sorry we dont do that and who told you that, I wish we could that would make my job a lot easier, but no anything else I can do.The way the lady at the office put it, it sounds like they have cards there but enjoy holding them from us to assert control over their pointless jobs.Im not sure why they even gave me $68.00 for the remainder of the month when Im not going to get the card till the 28th

This office has improved from what it used to be many years ago. There was a lot more order and organization. The wait time is not as long as it used to be but depending on what you were there for it can vary. The staff are usually very nice and accommodating depending on your demeanor. They take care of what you need a timely manner and are very respectful

The poor staff there. Those employees work day In and out and they never have enough employees, they have to deal with the homeless coming in and hanging out, the security they have sucks, they Normally sit on their phones and look half dead. These employees need a raise and a better building

I have been coming here for 2 weeks trying to get food stamps. And i still have not got any yet these people in this office are off there rocker they Dont Help you or Do there job at this place stay away from here

They keep coming up with ideas to make their office faster and more improved. the employees act as though they dont give a damn about you or what you are going through.

The receptionist was super helpful. She told me to come back at a slower time. Even though it took about two hours to be seen I was able to go home and grab some stuff to keep me occupied for that them frame. Thank you.

Jason M. was very helpful! He was able to help me quickly with my situation and give me clear feedback. I was worried about stopping by and spending a lot of time trying to get information on my case. Which luckily did not happen. Kind and friendly customer service as always! :)

Be prepared for about a two hr wait when you go in here. They do offer same day service if you go in and apply before 330 pm. This is great because you can apply and get an answer fairly quickly.

Lost my paperwork I need my Medicade because Im sick and need up coming surgery. Now Im having to reapply again. I have called them over 100 times. Never answer their phone. The security guy is always on his phone. Never looked up from it. This place is a joke

My son and I was trying to get his Insurance card? But I had to go through alot steps and he became sickly and he refused to waiting in the line because it was very long. I was hoping for his befitting to go so we could get help that he medical attention he needed 🍋🍊🍑🌽🍒=_==_=

Location for its recipients is Good. The items a available should have a better shelf life not with expiration dates as if you dont care about who eats and get sick. Think if it was you eating how would you feel.

It was busy but I got in and out and got my food stamps the same day. I felt respected and understood.

Also- the way the office is set up is organized and allow for smooth swift service! My total time spent in this office from stat to finish was 26minutes!!! Very smooth! And ZERO kids running around the office yelling and acting like wild animals during the wait!

Very helpful staff Ive gotten same day case management upon walkin. Case workers meet the needs of my family. The only thing is there is long wait times of a little over an hour but its well worth the wait.

I have had so much happen in the short six months moving to Texas. I was in a bad way and Mr. Maxie took the time to help me in every possible way. With such care and kindness and compassion. Without making me feel less then I already did. You good sir will always be in my prayers and heart.

It was a waste of my time, I waited 4-5 hours to see someone. I am on a lot of medicine that I have to have food to take with my meds, and diabetic, they would not even consider 🤔 this.,....... 😟😷🤕😤instead of letting me sit there, they could have told me that I dont qualify,............

An in and out process.. These people are on it. They know what they are doing and if they dont have the info for u they make sure u leave with it on where to and how to and whom to contact about ur questions u may have..

All Im going to say is your treated the way you treat the workers. I personally got all the help I needed and the lady was very sweet!

This is the wrost place in Texas to ever had to go to, the people that i asked for help after my husband died, didnt care at all and did not help with snap for a Widow who took care of her husband and has no income under Texas law I didnt qualify for anything, dont think that, its not a her hermaine place.

Front staff was amazing the social worker that was assigned to us was probably in a bad mood and was acting kind of secretive instead of providing us with information because we had no knowledge of what we were doing this was our first time and Im disabled and got denied because we had money in our bank account to pay our bills and living off of but both of us arent working but whatever

Its good to go early. Usually its full in the afternoon.

The workers here are kind of rude but I guess it doesnt matter because you only have to deal with them for about 5mins at the most. You go in to pick up your benefit card then you are done.

They will take your food stamps back if you get a disability check.

You have to wait hours to get anything done. I havent been able to take care of any business over the phone.

If someone needs help, you shouldnt turn them away.

I have called 9 times and when someone answers they always put me on hold then hang up on me, or I’m stuck waiting on hold for 30 minutes then when someone comes back on the phone they have a nasty attitude.

Horrible experience!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I went through the whole process and being told I was accepted for food stamps and would be getting my card in the mail anywhere between 2-3 business days and to just make sure I turned in requirement paperwork within 10 days. As I go to turn in the paper work the same day I end up sitting in a loby for 2 hours to then finally be seen by the lead supervisor who was beyond rude. After waiting all that time and having the weight lifted off my shoulders on how we were going to be able to pay for groceries she added the weight right back on saying we make to much money because on the document it had included a bill that gets taken out and said because its on the paper even though we DO NOT receive that amount of money and have documentation that we dont she just continued to say I was denied I asked why go through the whole process and phone interview to be told I was accepted to then come to tell me Im denied she had the most disrespectful attitude and did not care one bit just kept saying I dont know. And when I asmed to speak to a the supervisor she gave to most disrespectful sarcastic comment evrr like Im the one that did something. Im so beyond frustrated on how I was treated with such poor service and non caring attitudes. She deffiently does not care about the people that walk into her office needing help.

They dont update cases and loose Paperwork and judge you all the time. I moved back to bell county is April and between then and now 12/5/18 Ive renewed my Medicaid 12 times and snap 11 times. Because they cant do their job correctly. And the security guard....haha she is a joke.

Killeen TX food stamp office is Very confusing to me about what people are supposed to do to be in compliance. Ive been told 4 different things and still dont know.

They are all rude and act like they are better then anyone in there needing help, they all need some human resource visits from their boss about treating people how you want to be treated.

What is the purpose of having a telephone number that only routes people to other numbers? I have tried calling 211, the interview hotline, and this main office number and no one can help me. The only individuals I can speak to can only transfer me to other automated numbers. Very frustrating.
