My family and I did this tour as soon as we were able! It was so great to have an introduction to Key West before going off and exploring a bit on our own! I liked the stories our guide told us about the different locations!

Decent tour of the area. The whole experience seems geared toward promoting many of the other attractions in Key West but that wasn’t totally unexpected. The train moves at a leisurely pace and the driver gives an interesting narration along the way. There are stops along the route so you can get off, visit an attraction, then catch a later train to complete the tour, which is quite handy. You can just as easily rent a bicycle or scooter and see everything on the tour but I enjoyed hearing about the island’s attractions, history, and even the architecture of the homes. Plus we got a discount on the aquarium tickets for booking a tour. An overall good experience.

A little hokey but sort of pleasant way to see the old town. Kind of pricey for what it is. Every driver gives you the same stories. It’s open air and hop on hop off. I don’t really go in for this type of touristy thing but it was bearable. You get to see a lot of the historical houses as you drive by, sometimes painfully slow. After departure it only makes 2 useful stops on the route. The last stop is next to the first.

It pains me to give the Conch Train tour a less than enthusiastic grade as I have been doing this very same tour since the late 1960s as a child. Every time I am in the Keys either alone or with friends and family, I take the tour. One issue I have concerns the actual physical comfort of taking such a tour. Anyone over 6 feet is going to experience tight leg constraints. This wouldnt be so bad if had to be endured for a short while however, with a tour length of an hour and 20 minutes it is quite uncomfortable. Bench seating at the front of each car is even more limited and of course the rear seating is problematic as you are disoriented hearing the conductor point out sights to front facing guests while you are seeing them in reverse. The biggest complaint is the quality of the narration has gone down hill over the years. Perhaps it is just emblematic of a national tendency to dumb down to the lowest common denominator with the general population at large. The number of corny and inane one liner jokes are a waste of time and embarrassing. It is so bad that me and my family cringe every time the conductor clicks on his mic. The public would be far better served to have more fun facts and historical points of interest highlighted rather than ridiculous and silly anecdotes and one liners.

Fantastic tourist ride! If you want to know the places to go, hear funny dad jokes, and free entry into 2 things, ride the CONCH TRAIN. Its cheap and you learn all about the towns history. My family and I have been going for over 20 years and still ride this everytime we are in town, it has become a tradition. Park your car at Mallory park, its a short walk to the conch train ride and order tickets online to save $$$$.

Provided historical information and pointed out sites. Wish there were more stops closer to attractions. Was told the attraction we wanted to see was 2 blocks away and it was closer to 8 - on a hot, humid day that was quite unbearable.

Entertaining and fun tour packed with super interesting history!

This was an amazing tour around Key West. The only downside is that the seats are very tight. Being over 6’ my knees were very cramped. Also be sure and buy tickets online and save a good amount of money versus buying tickets in person

Tried to do a tour, but the first one was packed. We declined to sit five to a row with strangers. “The next one will be in five minutes. I have 17 trains.” Heard the same thing over and over again. 45 minutes later we still didn’t have a ride. Got a refund. You are better off renting a golf cart or an electric vehicle... it’s a better value! Avoid!!!

Those tour couch experience was very good. But the timing wasnt really good. They closing very early. So paying much its really not worthy.

Love sitting back and listening to all the history and stories. Who doesnt like show and tell... Great way to start out to get the big picture and decide what to while in town.

Some interesting facts and history about KW but hardly anything that we had not already read or heard about. It was, however, nice to be driven( instead of walking or biking) for awhile.

We took this tour several years ago, and took it again just for nostalgia. We had a great time and our tour guide, Bob from Pittsburgh, was very funny and very knowledgeable about Key Wests history. Its a great way to spend a few hours and learn about the city while having fun at the same time. There are several different areas where the train stops at so if you want to get off at that point in the city you can.

Excellent way to see everything and take a break from walking. Tip: You can use it all day and get on/off as needed. Trains run every half hour at least.

The train ride has been a favorite of mine since I was a little kid. its nice because if you get on early in the morning you have time to see a bunch of things and then hop off and do a few adventures and then you can ride the train around the island a little bit afterwards before the sun sets. Your ticket is good for the whole day

Ive been to key west over a dozen times and never took advantage of this tour. Had a wonderful time and both of the engineer/guides were funny and very informative of the local history. It was a plus staying very close to the truval station to.

I was going to book a train tour but their website says masks are required for the entire tour. Masks for an open air, outdoor tour? No thanks.

Very educational way to learn more about the history of Key West. I lived here 25 years ago and learned so much about the island that was once my home. The driver was a cool guy and he was funny. Worth the price and a great way to see the island!

This was a very fun trolley train trip. This trip will give you a good idea something good places to go once you come to a stop.

AMAZING! We missed the conche train because we had the buffet cruise, but this company made it easy to book everything on one site. We had sooo much fun on our trip!! We are a family of six and it made everything manageable for us. We already recommended to a few friends who will be booking through you all within the next few weeks.

If you want to get away from the beach and bars for a couple of hours and interested in the history of Key West then this is an excellent way to do it.The tour is long so be aware if you have children and it is a hot day as if in the back or front rows you are in pretty much full sun for the whole tour.I would also recommend if you have children make sure they have been to restrooms prior and also you have water and food if necessary as they cannot stop as on public roads.

The famous conch tour train is a must do when you go to Key West. The quality of the tour depends on the guide of course. You buy one ticket and can ride it hopping on and off all day. The first 45 minuets is non stop though. This tour has been around for decades but is under new ownership it seems like they would rather have you on their trolleys.

Blatant example of no common sense. Hot day, high humidity, mask requirement because transportation system like airplanes require them. Train is nothing like an airplane. Train is open air with plexiglass between each seat. Was hot and uncomfortable with mask nazies at each stop. Tour was a 4, overall a zero.

DO NOT! Paid $40 PER PERSON. For this train tour. Its a hop on, hop off tour. What they do not tell you is when you hop off, you cannot get back on. Paid $40. Got off during the first stop, never was able to get back on because all trains that came by other locations were full and nobody got off. So you pay a completely overpriced $40 for an hour tour, or you get off early and thats the end. They kept saying next train will have less people. They overbook the day for the money making an all day hop on, hop off ticket useless. NEVER EVER EVER EVER.

Sit close to the front to hear the conductors story of key west. Some bench seats have no space for long legs. They dont drop you off where you get picked up

Fun tour. Showcases a ton of history

This was surprisingly a very enjoyable and well worth idea we had to the purchase tickets for the train tour. We did it on our first day in Key West and this was an awesome introduction to the island and all of its history. The fact that we are able to get on and off at certain stops is also a huge advantage since we planned around each stop to knock out things on our “to do list”. The amount of information you receive and the things you are able to see makes this a very worth while experience.

This was a lot of fun. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, and the train was comfortable. It was a cool way to cover a lot of ground on hot tropical days. Add this to your list of things to do.

Loved this tour its a great way to see all the important points of key west and you can hop on and off so thats nice. We chose to stay on the entire tour and see everything (just over an hour) and then went around a 2nd time and got on and off. Where the train stops and the actual points of interest can be a far walk sonwe ended up renting a golf cart. But the tour was still great and its nice you can ride it all day.

The Holiday Light Train is a Christmas Tradition for us followed by icecream. Drivers know where all the great light displays are and Holiday Cheer(s) is share throughout Key West. And the 3D glasses are SO FUN!

This is an excellent way to get a feel for Key West locate various places around the islands. The train was comfortable even though it was a little chilly with open sides.

The Conch Tour Train was a blast and very educational. Scott was our favorite of the 3-4 conductors we got to experience as we got on and off the train throughout the day. We definitely wish we would have done this the first day we arrived rather than wait until the last day.

Very informative tour. Also its a nice way to see Key West and take a break from all the walking around in the sun. We really liked the fact that you were able to jump on and off the train at the different stops and catch another train when you were ready.

While this is a typical city tour train, it was worth the price. Excellent information given from the Key West native conductor. Buy the tickets online and save money. Its even more useful if you think of it as an all day taxi.

It is the best way to travel on the island to see everything. A nice cool breeze helped keep us comfortable on the trip around the island.

My wife and I loved this 90 minute tour train around historic Key West area. The train conductor was extremely knowledgeable about the island and pointed out everything worth noting plus he’s actually from the island and was born here. Was nice and informative, but needed to be able to get off at other stops such as southernmost point and Duval street. I developed a blister on my foot and the nearest stop was too far to walk.

Great way to see the sights

We took the Conch Train when we first arrived in Key West - to be able to map out the sites we wanted to revisit. We were only in Kwy West for a full day. Our conductor Skipper was very informative. Would highly recommend the train!!

PRICEY! It was an ok experience. Not sure if its a driver or their masks, or perhaps the equipment, but you barely can make out what driver is saying. Kinda expensive entertainment, especially when you didnt hear 60% of what was said.
