We had a great day fishing. If you have younger kids, or first timers, this is perfect. Do not show up expecting deep sea fishing. They clearly state multiple places that they are taking you in calmer waters. Youll still catch more fish than you count and not have anyone chumming the water the whole time. Money well spent!!!

My friends and I had the most relaxing and fun trip with Rampage Fishing Charters. We caught so many fish thanks to the expertise of our Captain. I would recommend this outing for any family or group wanting a real exciting fishing experience. They even recommend to go get our catch cooked at a local restaurant which was accommodated warmly by the staff of the kitchen.

One of the best guided fishing trips we have ever been on. Super friendly! Eric was awesome and took great care of us. We caught all the fish we wanted super close without the long travel out.

My family of 6 had a great day on the water with first mate Eric and captain Barry. None of us had ever been deep sea fishing, but we all felt like pros with these fellows guidance. We caught alot of smaller fish, which we took to a local restaurant that grilled and fried it up for us. It was absolutely delicious! We hooked 2 nurse sharks which were good sized, but obviously let go. The whole experience was just amazing and we highly recommend these guys!

Excellent time on the water today!! Caught a good amount of fish (grouper, shark, wide array of snapper). Even though it was getting really choppy, Captain Barry and Eric took us to where is was comfortable and we still caught fish. These guys know their stuff!

This fishing trip was awesome. We caught so many fish we lost count. All 3 of my sons caught tons of fish and several sharks and my wife caught a 10 foot Nurse shark! The boat owner / Captain anf the first mate we’re very personable, patient with my hyper sons. Overall it was an excellent experience.

Great way to spend a day! Barrys wife was very helpful in planning our fishing trip. Captian Barry and his mate Eric were very knowledgeable and kept us pulling in fish after fish. We had 4 kids fishing (2 of which are wild cards). Eric has a perfect system to keep everyone safe and baited. Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Our experience with Captain Barry and First Mate Eric was the best weve had fishing on vacation--it was an awesome time! Our family enjoys fishing on vacation and our trip with Rampage was exactly what we were looking for--a private charter for a few hours of fishing and the added bonus of a lot of fish-catching, and a little bit of swimming. We were bottom-fishing and caught sharks, yellow-tails, blue runners, and red groupers.From the moment we arrived at the dock we were warmly welcomed and easily settled in for a morning of fishing and swimming. We are all novice fishers and Eric was incredibly helpful and patient with us and our two boys--ages 7 & 11. He worked incredibly hard throughout our trip to make sure that we were having a great time--he was attentive to who needed bait or help to reel in a fish. Barry and Eric even had one last surprise at the end of the trip for us--feeding the Tarpin. We caught enough fish to take to a nearby restaurant and have cooked for lunch with left-overs. Our trip on Rampage Fishing Charters was a highlight of our family vacation to the Keys.If you are looking to spend a few hours on a boat with your kids and catching fish, you will not be disappointed choosing Rampage Fishing Charters.

We had an amazing day on the Rampage! There was not a second to sit with all the fish we were catching! We kept First Mate Eric very busy and he did an awesome job! Even filleted all the fish we caught! Thanks so much to Eric and Captain Barry for a great day!

I would give more than 5 stars if I could! We left the marina promptly at 0930 and immediately through out lines. We fished until about 1230. We found a spot about 200 yards off of Sunset Key and had an ok bite (few fish caught but I did land a barracuda that weighed in at over 70 pounds). The captain and mate quickly realized the bite was slow and moved us further out. At the new spot, we caught fish as fast as we could cast. The mate and captain both gave tips and helped, they offered advice and had fun local conversation. Drinks are provided. The mate baits your rig and takes the fish off for you. Once the boat returns, he fillets the fish and bags it for you and even reccomends a local restaurant to cook your catch. The sign says bottom fishing which we did but we went fairly far out as well. Again, I caught the catch of a lifetime with this crew in my 70 pound barracuda.... This is also one of the most affordable fishing boats at Charter Boat Row. We will fish with Rampage again as we could not be more satisfied!

This was the best fishing experience I have had. The fish are plentiful and just keep coming, oftentimes non-stop! Ive been on Rampage 13 times, and always had good luck. Captain Barry, a Master Mariner of World-Wide acclaim, and Fishing Expert Captain and First Mate Bonnie, know where to go, they know their stuff, and they make it a pleasure. They could not be more friendly and their timing is perfect from shore to sea and back again. Not too short and not too long. The perfect day on the water with nature and later on, your dinner! The laughs are as plentiful as the fish. Expect to take your catch to the restaurant for ongoing benefits for the time you spent on the beautiful waters around Key West. cant wait to do my 14th trip !

What a great day!! It was just my brother-in-law (whos never fished before) and me. Bonnie was great to us both, very patient and a pleasure to talk with. Captain Barry knows his stuff, and got us out fishing in minutes. Lastly (but certainly not least) Tamara, was wonderful in setting up and managing the whole trip for us, despite being a little under the weather. We took our filets to the floating Thai Restaurant right next door, and enjoyed our catch.I would definitely recommend Rampage Fishing Charters, whether youre a novice or experienced fisherman. My husband and I loved fishing on the Rampage. I had never fished before in my life and Captain Bonnie was a perfect instructor and unbelievably helpful. I caught more than 10 fish (I stopped counting). My husband has a slight disability and that was happily accommodated. We will certainly fish with Rampage the next time we visit Key West.

Terrible Charter for serious fisherman. Might be good for small children or those who have never fished before. We booked a half day afternoon trip that was supposed to last for at least 4 hours, and the captain called it a day after only 2.5 hours. It was billed as a deep sea fishing charter, yet we never even left the channel. Fished the same terrible spot for the entire time. We were basically catching bait fish the entire time, and while we caught plenty of those, we were never put on the fish which is basically your only job as a fishing boat captain. The mate was good and she tried hard, but the captain was so bad I honestly cant recommend them to anyone other than for a quick trip with small children. The price was much to high as well. Avoid this charter unless you have no other options.

Had a ball...Captain Barry and Mate Bonnie are incredible. ..we caught at least 30 good sized yellowtail, porgy, grouper, 2 sharks, snapper and trigger fish. Cant wait to come back!

Had the best charter experience ever! Berry and Bonnie took great care of us. Caught lots of fish, too. Will go out with them again our next trip to Key West. Highly recommend the fun with Rampage Fishing Charters!

Booked a charter for 6ppl and wish we fished with someone else. The captain could care less about the customers. He only left the harbor and wouldn’t move spots (deep sea fishing my a$$) the mate was nice and knowledgeable. He took some of our fish for his aquarium on the dock which was just weird. Also tried to sell us a time share lol all in all just a scam. I would definitely book with another company next time.In regards to your response... so when we got back to the dock your saying you did not try and sell us a time share??? That’s a lie! Also as far as fishing in the bay. We had muiltiple occasions where the bite stopped a good captain would have moved. Even if it’s 50’ away but no you payed in the cabin playing on your phone. I did not book the trip as it was for my wedding and a gift from my father in law. Who has fished in Key West starting in the 80’s. He also agreed your charter was the worst he has been on. I think you can make it better by putting in more of an effort and not trying to sell your stupid time share at the end.

Went fishing on Rampage yesterday morning! What a great time, Captain Barry & mate Bonnie made sure that everything went perfect. We were reeling in fish the whole time we were out.Cant wait to go out again!!

Had a great day out on the water with captain Barry and his mate eric. Wasn’t a very long trip but for the price was worth it. We were fishing in 20 mins or so and we didn’t stop catching fish until it was time to go. There was a good variety of fish caught by the 6 people on the boat. Eric made sure my pole was never out of water more than just a second or two. If you are looking to just get some fishing in and don’t want to spend all day doing it I’d suggest rampage and captain Barry! Eric even suggested a nice place for us to take our fish so we could have it cooked for us. Thanks again for that Eric it was awesome! Some of the freshest fish I’ve ever had...for obvious reason haha.

Great experience, lots of fish to take home, great crew- first mate (Eric) was awesome!

Its a an old boat, with rusty steel pipes. The trip begins putt putting to just go around the corner, to save on gas. He anchors up between Sunset key and Wisteria Island. Chums it up and starts pulling up undersized fish. I even saw him gaff a nurse shark just to bring it in the boat for pics, and there the wounded/dyingshark back. I have pics to prove it if interested. Just ask any other Key West Captain and no one has anything good to say about him. The only good thing I have to say about Rampage is its cheaper than other boats, but you get what you pay for.

Unfortunately we didnt know the boat wouldnt leave the harbor. Didnt read reviews. Captain was lazy and felt grunts were acceptable. Owner promised my husband Grouper and yellow tails but not possible in the harbor right in front of cruise ship.Caught a blue runner and he said it was a blue snapper!If you are a beginner and dont care what you catch..this is one for you. Didnt really care about his adventures in Cuba or Costa RicaIf you are an avid fisherman then dont book this tripIn response to the owners reply - the website doesnt mention the gulf and we didnt make it to the gulf. We never left the harbour - for $700 including tip - save your money - the head boat you catch more for 1/10th the price! What a joke wish I rate them a minus 10
