Great experience with the family. Our guide, Everett, taught us the rules of SNUBA then we were ready to explore. Saw a variety of fish along the reef. The rest of the crew made the trip fun as well. Thank you, Jake, for the photos. Highly recommend!!

I came with my family with the intentions of snorkeling While the rest of them Snuba Dived. Although I am a good simmer, the thought of breathing through a regulator scared the living daylight out of me. But Instructor, CJ, was very encouraging. He explained the process to me in a very simple way and was very paciente. Gave me plenty of time to practice until I felt comfortable and safe. Also our Captain Dustin was very attentive to our needs. I had an amazing time! So much so that I can’t wait to do it again.

We came on Girl Scout Counsel trip. The guides are fun, friendly and very understanding. They really knew about the plant and marine life in the reefs. This was an amazing experience that I hope to be able to share with the rest of my family some day. For now my daughter and I have some awesome memories.

I took the family for my daughters birthday down to the Keys and wanted them to experience some diving and have an opportunity to do something different on vacation, They were all a little scared not knowing if they could do it or not. But with the help of the Dive Master and their watchful eye, we had a blast!! now they want to get certified to dive. best thing is the wife would like to do it again next time we are there.

So me and my family went here and absolutely loved it! I would 100% recommend and Holly, Ted, Everett, Hunter, Noah, and Jake did an absolutely fantastic job! They were amazing! Ted even gave me a nickname and it was sharkbait because I said I was scared of sharks! He was very nice and everybody thought that joke was very funny! I would definitely go back to Snuba with my family!

We had an awesome experience here. Our guide, Holly, took us through some amazing reefs. We saw a puffer fish, an angel fish, and far too many others for me to identify. There was a photographer scuba diving with us and taking lots of photos for us. Receiving the photos was a tad pricey at $65.

CJ, Jack, and Cap.Zappa were the best. I was totally terrified going in, but they were extraordinarily professional and reassuring. They put my worries at ease and the experience was great. No regrets.

My boyfriend and I had the pleasure of discovering the amazing experience of Snuba yesterday ! We were in great hands with our instructor CJ, and our captains Zappa, and Dustin! When we booked, my mind was half made up that I would stay in the boat and wait for my boyfriend to comeBack up. CJ was so reassuring in his explanations that I felt 100% safe and excited when it got time to jump in the water and explore the beautiful reefs of Key West 20 feet below water!! I surprised my boyfriend with SNUBA diving and we had a fantastic time! This activity is perfect for anyone interested in SCUBA diving but aren’t quite ready to commit to getting their SCUBA certification. You are taught everything you need to know on the boat ride out and a guide is always in the water with you to make sure you’re okay. It was really special for us to explore the beautiful coral reef together and we will remember this forever. Ted (the captain), Dan (our instructor), Madeline (another groups guide), and Jake (the photographer) were great!

ABSOLUTE UTTER PATHETIC DISASTER, their customer service !!I booked SNUBA diving for 5 people for 07/05/2021 (paid ~$150 as advance fee). The event got cancelled due to inclement weather. In this case, the refund should automatically have been issued. That aside, I tried reaching them at least 15-20 times in the 4 weeks later. The only phone number that is available doesnt get answered 99% of the time. And the one time a lady answered, she said that I was eligible for refund in this case, but that SHE CANNOT GUARANTEE the refund. Apparently, she was INSTRUCTED BY THE OWNER to only say that the refund process will be taken up by another team / owner. SHE DID NOT GUARANTEE the refund initiation process. ABSOLUTE disastrous response !! I mean, she started explaining to me how she was just an employee there and that the assurance about the refund was out of her reach.Fortunately, ~07/20/2021some one answered the call and told me I was eligible for the full refund and that it would take 3-5 business days for credit, 10 days later.. I am still trying to reach out to them.. NO ONE ANSWERS as usual.. Today (08/01/2021) some one picked a call claiming today was his first day at work and that he is not aware of the processes.@Josh - If you are reading this and care about your customers. Please make sure you have a system in place that at the very least responds to calls (let alone solving their problems).

My daughters and I had a great first experience with Snuba of Key West. CJ, Jay and Justin were great. As a diver myself I appreciated the depth of training provided to us. CJ is a great instructor!

The crew, the experience, the sunshine and getting to breathe underwater for long time was awesome. Where else can you get to hang out underwater, look at cool fish without the crazy mess of scuba gear and lessons and time. If you want to have that experience for nearly an hour - SNUBA is the way to go. Yes you will be with other people, but listen to the crew and do it right so everyone enjoys it....it is wonderful!!! No one can control the sea conditions!! We were lucky our day to have clear conditions and have pictures too! Plan to go again for sure!!

Snuba Key West was our favorite part of the trip! The whole crew was great and CJ was a phenomenal instructor, safety and a great experience were his top priorities. He did a great job explaining the process and making us feel comfortable and prepared. The boat was clean and had a small bathroom and hose to rinse off with. Snuba was a unique experience and I would highly recommend it!

CJ, Ted and Charles were top notch! Conditions were poor but we could only do this day. They took us out anyway and helped us make the most of it. Our group had two non swimmers and 1 of them was 13 and scared. The walked us through everything step by step and made the whole process feel very comfortable. By the end of the trip we all had spent more time under the water than on top. That is a win :) they are a lively friendly bunch and anyone who wants to explore the reefs would be well advised to call them and get on board with this crew :)

Fantastic time. CJ was the best instructor. He made something that we thought would be difficult and complex seem easy and it was.This is the only way to see the ocean and the fish, up close and personal.

Our snuba experience was amazing! Definitely harder than it looks but the crew knew what they were doing and were very patient with us. We had Charles as our guide as he was super professional and very nice to us. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Paid for the photo package and got barley any that was of our group and none from us under water. the guide didnt explain really anything about the actual dive and what to do and didnt actually do anything she said with helping us. I was having a hard time diving down and part of my group ran out of air long before the guide noticed. Overall was really cool just would not recommend this company.

Had a terrific time while here, our guide/instructor CJ and he was great! Super helpful, encouraging, funny and nice. And the captain Joel was also very nice and helpful and made the ride there and back enjoyable. All in all its a great, and super fun activity and I 100% recommend it.

There were some recent storms and the waves were very high and rough near the reef so the crew took us to a calmer area with an older boat wreck to explore. Maddy was our groups guide while Ted piloted the boat and Phil took pictures during the trip. The boat was clean and well equipped. They were focused on making sure we all had a good experience while keeping us and the environment safe. I had a difficult time breathing through my mouth so I stayed on the surface most of the trip but was still able to see ocean floor and marine life so I didnt miss seeing anything but in a way that made me feel comfortable. If you want to SNUBA in the Keys this is the best crew. The catamarans name is Good Times and I definitely had that. I plan to come again next year and will contact this crew again.

Pros: Boat ride out was awesome. I loved the ocean and hitting the waves. Environment is great. Crew was professional and laid back too. I felt safe. Key West is great.Cons: My son and I were paired with a less experienced crew person who didn’t weight us down properly so we were stuck floating at the top of the water the entire time. We could swim down, but it was a constant battle that made us consume our oxygen quickly. She cut our experience short I think because of this. Disappointing as the excursion was expensive, and excursions like this for me are few and far between. There isn’t much to see in the actual snuba spot. Water is slightly murky. Not much depth to the water. They didn’t care for my GoPro as they had their own $$$ cameraman. He took ok photos. I mainly bought the photos because I felt bad for him as there were only two parties that day so he needed some income. They somewhat guilt you into buying the photos and into leaving a good tip. I didn’t mind tipping because besides the actual snuba experience, the rest of the excursion was great. This was my third time doing snuba but first at this location/on this boat. The other two times were amazing compared to this one.

This was awesome! My cousin and I were on the fence about which fun water activity to do while we were in Key West, So glad we chose this! They whole crew was super fun and knowledgable, especially Captan Ted and our guide Madison. The experience was one of a kind. They took us out to the reef about 6 miles off shore and let us explore basically whatever we wanted, and we saw so much! The whole experience took about 3-4 hours with about an hour of just being in and under the water. I would definitely do this again.

Ive done a lot of snorkeling but have been apprehensive of going after my scuba cert. This was a wonderful 50/50 to test drive scuba-ish diving. Diana took us out to the Sand Key Lighthouse, then Ben took us through pathways between coral heads while we dragged a 20ft air line. Im definitely going to coordinate with Ben to get my scuba cert soon.

We went out on 5/28 and CJ was our Snuba Guide. He was very professional, funny, helpful and calming. We have done snorkeling before but never snuba. CJ helped me and my wife feel very comfortable about the equipment and the process and after getting the hang of it we had a great time. CJ offers scuba dive certification and we are honestly considering it. This is a great company and a great experience and you should do it!

SNUBA was a phenomenal experience!! My wife and I were relative beginners (we had snorkeled once prevoously), but our guide CJ went above and beyond to explain every part of our trip in detail, then did everything he could to make sure we were both safe and having a great time. The boat was very clean and comfortable, and Captain Josh was awesome!!During our dive, we saw a ton of marine life, including various types of parrotfish, a barracuda, grouper, and many more, but the highlight had to be a 5-6 ft. Caribbean Reef Shark swimming right by us.Just a great trip, and we can’t wait to try it again when we return to Key West!!

My boyfriend and I went on our first-ever Snuba tour yesterday with Captain Diana and Diving Guide CJ. It was seriously an amazing experience and I’m so glad we did it during our time in Key West!! Both Diana and CJ were so professional and made you feel absolutely safe the entire tour. Diana played great music the entire boat ride there and back, too! CJ made sure to point out all of the cool and interesting animals we came in contact with (barracuda, parrot fish, sergeant major fish, etc) and continually checked to make sure all four of us on the dive were okay. It really was an unreal experience and my boyfriend and I are officially hooked on diving!! Thank you Snuba of Key West! :D

I cant speak highly enough about Snuba of Key West. We had C.J. as our instructor and just wow! Litterally the entire crew from the captain, deck hands, and both instructors were amazing and accommodating. Thanks again!

This was an unforgettable experience for me and my daughter.Here is a bit of detail. There was a guide and several divers total (the scuba divers have the large cylindrical air tanks) accompanying our group of 6 guests. There were a total of 23 guests on board and 7 staff including the captain, Joel. Typically 1 guide, 1 safety diver, and one camera person on each dive. Our dive lasted perhaps 20-25 mins. Our guide was CJ, who was excellent, strongly recommend CJ. There is about a 25 minute safety and procedure briefing on the way out to the dive site given by the guide. This included numerous reminders of the most important things to remember.We were custom fitted with a mask, weight belt and fins (not flippers, as CJ said, Flipper is a dolphin), The weight belt is for making you buoyancy neutral in the water. There is a hose, like a compressor hose attached to a common tank which floats on a small raft that everyone is connected to for air supply.I think even rather inexperienced swimmers would find this activity enjoyable. There was a youngish girl in our group perhaps 12 years old crying before the dive for 15-20 minutes, and in the end she came up all smiles.The technique of using the breathing equipment and the fins, and such takes some getting used to . I would say about 10 minutes or so for me and my daughter. Once comfortable, it becomes much easier. It would be nice if they could figure out a way that guests could acclimate to the breathing equipment in a pool or something prior to the dive because its quick distracting until you get used to it. If youve scuba dived or snuba dived before, Im sure its much easier, but I was a first timer, and so was my daughter.The good news is once acclimated, its a lot of fun, Im glad my daughter planned this event for us.

The crew couldnt have been any nicer. My son was having a difficult time with the water temperature and was not able to dive. Madison,CJ and captain Ted couldnt have been anymore accommodating. Madison even contacted the owner and let him know the situation and was able to get me a discount. I would absolutely recommend Snub Key West to anyone interested in doing Snuba. They were professional, patient and super friendly.

While my partner had a decent time, I dont think 30 mins is enough time to get 6-8 people geared and underwater. My time was spent just watching on top, (my mask did not fit my head or face correctly while descending), talking to another lady that was sent back up for w/e reason to wait it out too. I think the guide only had out of his 6 to handle 3 on the bottom with him as a 3rd girl was also stuck on top. The guide did take his time with the best looking girl, making sure she had a proper fitting mask and then taking her by hand for a great time touring underwater. Kudos I guess. She had a fantastic time. I also think the pictures should be included in the cloud, not another fee on a stick. The Mr. took his own pictures.

First time to any under water experience for both Christina and I. Holy Shi-! I was nervous at first. The water was slightly cold too. I did choose to do this on this on the last day of January and I’m a sissy.CJ, Hanna, Charles and Ted provided excellent instruction and reassured me through the experience. Christina has a little more experience than I but we both had a great time.I wish I could have controlled the weather but there was a little rain off in the distance which clouded the water a bit at the first desired site, but the crew was still able to come up with a clear enough dive site for us to experience one hell of a good time.

Great experience! Will go again. Abby and CJ were fantastic. We were total newbies to the SNUBA and it was awesome and easy. The guides make sure you are comfortable with all the equipment and what’s happening. You will immediately see lots of fish right by the boat, then you go down to the coral reef and see even more. We swam with a 6 foot reef shark and followed it around. Got some sweet pics and videos. Everyone who comes to key west should take this adventure it was right at 2 hours from start to finish, 10-15 min boat ride out and back. You can swim and snorkel while the other groups are going. We were a group of 4 and it was perfect. Don’t think twice just do it. Good times!

We didn’t have much visibility on our trip out but that wasn’t the crew’s fault. CJ took us and showed us what he could and we had an amazing time.More over, as someone who isn’t an amazing or experienced swimmer, I felt beyond safe and comfortable under CJ’s instruction. We moved at my pace and he was beyond patient!

It’s okay but, they do not take to a good clear water place to do this SNUBA activity, we are doing this near to beach this place we do not found any thing to see interesting under water, that’s bad choice where we went today. And these pipes are ant comfortable too . I don’t suggest this worth for your expectations, staff is good .

One of the coolest things Ive ever done, good vibes and staff were very helpful and informative. Definitely worth it. Cant remember the guys name but the guy in training there was super helpful and helped me alot when I was having trouble with the pressure in my ears. Shout out to him. Best experience ever

Incredible!! Was so nervous. Only had done snorkeling before but once you get used to it after a couple minutes you are ready to go!! It truly is adventurous and so fun to see how much you can do! Especially CJ, Josh, and Capt Greg. Wow. Couldn’t have asked for a better crew! So so safe.

SNUBA of Key West offers a great way to get underwater and get a taste of what SCUBA diving is like without all of the gear and certifications usually required. The boat and crew are top notch and will make sure that you have a great and safe time! Highly recommended!

BEST DAY EVER! Originally my husband and i were very nervous to the point where I was gonna stay at the top of the water with my husband bc I felt I was having too much difficulty relaxing. All the staff was extremely friendly but SKYLER was the absolute best. She was so patient and kind, never got frustrated with me. She even held my hand to go under and showed me how to breath (think we had a moment lol..j/k) but if she never did that I would not have had such a great experience. The boat was cozy and not many people and they were able to focus on each person and group. We will definitely be back and it is worth every penny! Shout out to the staff for being so great!

Nice concept, our dive master was very patient and helpful. Its probably better to practice the concept of breathing underwater before doing this, I learned it the hard way. However, I did enjoy it, and maybe I might try it again.

Snuba of Key west was amazing. My family including 17,15,12 year old and I went this week and had an out of this world experience. From our key instructor Meagan, the Photographer who was so humble, the captain who had my oldest just test the water since he was feeling a little sea sick.lol...Everyone had a great time. My daughter and I stayed at the top of the raft which was quite okay, still had the experience to see the beautiful fish below, while watching my husband and youngest in the reefs with Meagan the instructor. We also took home not only memories, but videos from the photographer of my little man swimming with the fish. I would highly recommend Snuba of Key West to anyone. I had the trip with two kids of 8 and 10 years in the Thanksgiving week. Our guide took care of my 10 year old son and I on the other one (3 people on one guide). Both were unexperienced except for snorkeling. Our guide Ted was very attentive. Especially because my boy had trouble to pop his ears and with his sinus cavities. This forced Ted to swim some some extra meters, however he did it and made me feel comfortable, because I knew he took care of him.We had a very nice trip, saw parrot fish, a black tip shark, hog fish, lots of yellowtail and a bunch of other different fish. 10 years ago I used to dive a couple times in Egypt, which still is better than the spot we saw here at the EDR, because the reefs are healthier. But this has nothing to do with our guide and the whole crew, since they made everyone aware not to touch anything underwater.For my kids this was an exceptional start to go beyond snorkeling. They took care of everything so even me as parent in charge was able to enjoy instead of being in charge.A remark on covid 19 measures: they separated all parties in different corners of the vessel, so the distance between parties was at least 15ft. Equipment was disinfected with diluted bleach.Thumbs up.

A great way to experience scuba without the certification. CJ was an excellent guide and instructor. We saw dozens of different species of fish and stingrays. Highly recommended for single, families, and couples!!!

CJ, Dan, and Capt Greg are the dream team. They took my fiancé and I out on same day notice and we dove on a small wreck and reef and saw so much cool life. CJ and Dan are extremely well versed divers and put your safety above all. Highly recommended.

Had an amazing experience with CJ and Captain Pete. My girlfriend and I have limited experience with open water swimming, let alone diving. Both Captain Pete and CJ know the area really well, have a great understanding of their equipment, and more importantly were patient and helpful with us as we learned the ropes. CJ was able to capture a majority of the dive with just about 100 pictures as well as a few videos. Definitely coming back on our next trip!

Great crew and great experience! This was our first time Snuba diving and we will definitely do it again thanks to Snuba Key West! Our guide Ben was helpful with his instructions, Zachary and Emily were knowledgeable folks. If you have never Snuba dived, PLEASE PICK this team. Your safety and experience is important to them. Totally family and kid friendly!

So much fun! This was my first diving experience, and I’m sure it won’t be my last. Zachery and Emily were terrific instructors and guides. They made the whole experience such fun and interesting. My sister and I will remember the things we saw for a long time.

Trevor and Mike took us out to the reef, and we had an awesome experience SNUBA . I typically Scuba but this was a first for my 15 yr old daughter. She is hooked now and once we get home she wants to get certified! Was actually easier and much more visual than snokling . No salt water in the snorkel!😁 Would recommend Mike and Trevor for anyone wanting more than snokling .
