We went on the 24 hour sailing experience with Captain Pete and First Mate Riley. This was Riley’s first time out as a first mate and she did fantastic!With the 24 hour sailing adventure, we met our captain and first mate at noon on the dock. We were greeted, our bags were put away on the boat, we had a quick strategy session with Captain Pete on what we wanted to do, and then set off to Western Dry Rocks to snorkel. Captain Pete jumped in the water with us to show us around the Reef while Riley stayed back keeping watch and preparing lunch. On the boat we had Publix Subs for lunch and set sail to Boca Grande.At Boca Grande, Captain Pete took us to an awesome sandbar with soft coral and so many Conchs! We even saw a horse conch that was HUGE!We just moved down here, and Captain Pete so graciously explained how to navigate the waters down here as we sailed since we are new boat owners with no idea what we are doing!Riley made a FANTASTIC charcuterie board with fruits and cheeses and crackers, followed by chicken Alfredo, Caprese Salad, and Apple Pie for dinner.Captain Pete taught us how to play Batgammon and we all swapped stories until it was time to turn in for the night.In the morning, Riley made a fantastic breakfast spread with fresh fruit, bacon, eggs and French toast. Then, we came back to end an amazing 24 hours. If the weather was better we could have swam some before coming home, but it rained most the morning.Only negative was the swim ladder needs to be replaced, and the windows in the Salon area on the boat need some maintenance because they leaked on The Wild Thing. But for us, that just made it a more authentic live-aboard experience! The ladder had just broken before we set sail, so I know Albert and the team will get that taken care of!All in all, highly recommend! We will definitely be doing this again!

2 of us spent a full day with Captain Pete and mate Asa on the Wild Thing. They were both accommodating, friendly and very knowledgeable on the local area. No wonder they both live on a sailboat in Keywest. It was definitely a highlight of our trip.

My husband and I went out with Captain Pete and his first mate Asa (spelling??), along with our 3 teenage boys. They were fun, gracious and patient, especially with one of our boys getting seasick. They took us to the perfect spot to snorkel with no one else around, clear water, and swimming afterward was perfect. I could not be happier with the service and company provided!! Gorgeous day, and so much fun!

Had one of the best times of my life out on the boat with Karen and Captain Pete. They were both super friendly and made the day unforgettable. I’ve never been on a boat in the ocean before so I was a little nervous but Pete and Karen made me feel so comfortable. Pete was amazing, truly an awesome person he helped me snorkel and stayed by my side the whole time and made me feel so safe in a situation I thought I’d never have the guts to do. This was an amazing experience I shared with my boyfriend and I’m so happy we got to sail with Pete and Karen. Next time I’m in the Keys I’m definitely doing this again with them.

We had the best time on our overnight charter! Albert and Rhonda were great and responsive from our first phone call, and their crew was professional, knowledgeable, and fun. Good sailing, good food, and good company. Thanks!

I highly recommend Key West Sailing Adventures! My husband and I, along with our three children (ages 13, 11, 9) just returned from a 48 hour cruise on Wild Thing. Captain Albert was such a pleasure to work with leading up to the trip. His knowledge of the area was most impressive, and he worked tirelessly to ensure every detail of our trip was planned to perfection. We embarked on the journey with high expectations and Captain Floyd and First Mate Troy still knocked them out of the park! They were both so generous with their time and their knowledge, and our kids learned more than we could have imagined on the two day adventure. Weve done many different types of trips as a family through the years, but nothing has come close to being as wonderful as this one. I simply cant say enough great things about everyone we encountered at Key West Sailing Adventures.

What a great experience! The water was warm, the sky was blue, the wind blew softly, and the crew were great as we sailed to the reef for some snorkeling. Captain Albert and Felicia were helpful and knowledgeable. I knew that we were in good hands. Thanks for the fun times.

I sailed with Captain Albert for two cruises and they were awesome! One was a sunset cruise and it could not have been timed more perfectly! The other cruise was a half day cruise and Captain Albert’s knowledge and expertise were impressive ! Both Captain Albert and his first mate Felicia were personable and a joy to sail with!!

A wonderful day sailing on St. Vitus’ dance. Just an amazing and comfortable boat and with Captain Albert at the wheel three days of glorious sailing. Could not of had a better or more wonderful time. Highly recommend it.

My husband, 8yr old daughter, and I had an amazing time staying on the Obsession. The boat was larger than we expected and had everything we needed to feel at home. The location was close to all the fun of Key West and felt miles away too. The best part was sailing out to the reef. Alberts crew (Ben and Vinny) are amazing. They made us feel like we were out with friends and not a hired crew. Their knowledge and kindness will be a treasured memory. Our family cant wait to be on the Obsession again!

We chose the Key West sampler, I’m so glad we added an extra night at sea to this package. We got do do thing we never did before. Captain Mike and Felicia were like sailing with friends. My wife doesn’t even swim and Felicia took her snorkeling. We would highly recommend this sailing adventure. Thank You

My husband and his sister and her husband had a lovely getaway without kids on the Wild Thing. The weather was perfect, slightly overcast so we didn’t burn, sunny, and breezy. Key and Brian, one of our guides speared fish and Saunder’s the other guide cooked the best fish dinner I’ve ever eaten. We ate, we drank, we snorkeled and saw sharks, fish, dolphins, and stingrays. I would highly recommend this adventure to anyone who loves the ocean. Key West has a great night life and we rented scooters and saw the town. Great experience.

Had a wonderful time! Thanks to Capt Albert. We went on a snorkel excursion. Enjoyed the sea and the stories. I would recommend this adventure. We treasured our time and cant wait to get back. My dogs enjoyed their time too.

Ive never visited Key West before but went with a friend. We hit some bars and met some girls that talked about a snorkeling trip they just went on. We were about to go on a boat trip with one of those that take like 60 people but didnt commit because where would we even sit? They said it was a nice very personal trip and it was only them on a beautiful boat. We were sold without even seeing the boat. We decided on a package deal for three days or something. It was great! Much nicer than the hotel on the other side of the Island as we only had to walk down the dock to hit the first bar. Dinner became a regular thing at Turtle Crawls since it was right there. They told me that this is how people live down there, that its a lifestyle. Man I wish I could buy a sailboat now. The saying was, If you dont like your neighbors...move, I thought this was really funny. I have never swam in the ocean before but always thought it would have these huge waves. Captain Albert told me that the calm water is due to the waves breaking out on the coral reef. That was a huge advantage since when we went snorkeling the water was still and you could see everything! We had a great time! It might be a while until I get back to Key West but instead of a hotel reservation I will be setting up a couple more days than before.

The boats are NOT taken care of! We were to stay aboard and it was absolutely unlivable! Two years later we still do NOT have our refund and had to find a new place to stay! Might be nice for a day sail but DO NOT stay aboard! The heads were backed up, the showers were backed up, there was no bedding, the refrigerator didnt work, the hatches and port holes leaked! Frankly it was disgusting! I am a boater! I live on a boat in the summer in Michigan! I know boating and how to take care of heads (bathroom) etc. Id NEVER recommend these people to anyone! Scammers through and through!

Yesterday was my first time on a sailboat and I loved it. The crew was so funny and made me keep a smile all the time on the boat.

First night chemicals in toilet kept us above deck to sleep- then our awesome crew of captain Victor and Saunders showed up and were amazingly awesome taking us to private beaches- telling us knowlgeley about area history and ecology- they also caught us fresh lobster every day for dinner. A lovely once in a lifetime experience! The owners were very thoughtful and accodating!
