We had the best time!!! Scott handled us so great. We felt so comfortable like we totally belonged to the boat and marina. Spent the day with Captain jack, fished, snorkel and sandbar. Highly recommend everyone and the boats. Cant wait to visit the keys again, for sure staying on the boat again.

My husband and I took a 2 day course with captain Jack Clayton on board of vessel Dont Blink. We had an amazing sail and learned a lot from the very knowledgeable and patience captain. The sailboat itself is beautiful, well maintained and extremely clean. We felt very comfortable and safe and all of our many questions were answered and explained.We highly recommend Blue sail charter and we will definitely return.

My wife and I had the pleasure of taking a two day sailing class with Captain Jack Clayton, We were very impressed with his knowledge and experience. We certainly learned so much and got some very good advice about boats and navigation. We also had the pleasure of meeting Scott Mayer the Owner of the company and wow what a great guy. Our time onboard the Rogue Angel couldnt have been better! From the start of the planning process - Scott Mayer was incredible to work with! Extremely responsive and helpful from the moment we began planning to the moment we checked out. We were able to enjoy 3 days at sea and were recommended Captain Tyler who couldnt have been better!! He knew exactly where to take us to the most perfect snorkeling spots and islands to anchor overnight. Tyler also is an all around awesome guy who we enjoyed just hanging out with. He helped the boys fish and even grilled up the fish for us at night! He went so above and beyond to make our time unforgettable. The weather, captain, company and boat were just PERFECT and we couldnt have planned it better if we tried. We will be back for sure!! Thank you Bluesail!

We spent 3 nights on the Rogue Angel and from start to finish the trip was incredible! This was the first time we have tried a boat charter trip. We travel every year with our 4 children to somewhere new....Caribbean mostly. This was by far the most amazing experience we have had. We are already talking about planning the next trip with blue sail. Scott has been amazing through the entire process ...which we had to rebook from December to March due to covid. He was patient and understanding with all the changes. When we arrived he gave us all the information and tools to have a wonderful flawless trip. We spent the day out to sea with Captain Danny and I can’t say enough about him...he went above and beyond to make our time absolutely the best...even bringing bait and helping my kids catch lots of fish..that he cleaned for us too! I would for sure have Danny be our captain in the future...he was by far the best!! I want to go on and on about this wonderful experience but the most important thing is don’t hesitate book with Scott today!! You won’t regret it!!

This last one was a 2 week adventure through the Bahamas, with lots of training and fun. We got to experience all of the important things that we will need to know as future live aboard cruisers from an experienced and passionate captain (Capt Rick).This trip was exactly the sort of thing we needed. If you and your partner have aspirations of setting sail on your own boat, you definitely want to experience an extended trip with Capt Rick.

We chartered Rogue Angel for a little over a week. We were greeted by a member of Bluesails staff and she gave us a tour of the boat. It was clean and very well stocked with linens and every cooking implement you could want. Àfter settling in Captain Jack joined us and we set sail for the Dry Tortugas. We spent seven days on the water with Jack. It was FABULOUS! No internet, no phones..just family time making wonderful memories. My husband and four children dove the Windjammer wreck and Jack took us to some gorgeous snorkel spots. Jack was outstanding with making sure we all got to do a little something special. After returning to the marina we enjoyed the pool ànd other amenities at SIMV.This was one of our favorite vacations. Thank you Bluesail and Rogue Angel.

What a wonderful experience we had aboard Kaimani. 2 couples for 3 nights. So enjoyable to stay up late together sitting around the covered cockpit deck. Going to your own cabin on opposite sides of the 40ft catamaran for a great nights rest and then waking up to a full Kitchen and enjoying a pot of coffee and conversation together in the spacious salon or back out on the aft deck. Would definitely do a 3 night stay again. 10 minutes from Key west airport.

Have been visiting the Keys for over 10 years, Bluesail is hands down THE BEST! Their entire team goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is incredible. HIGHLY recommend hiring a skipper to spend at least one day out on the water if not two! Being an experienced sailor, but unfamiliar with this boat, we hired a bareboat Captain and was able to enjoy adult beverages underway, relax and have so much fun!! Great being the guest for a change and our skipper took great care of us! Captain Tyler suggested we visit Western Dry Rocks for some amazing snorkeling and Boca Grande Key, an uninhabited mangrove island not far away (but amazing - we used the dinghy to cruise through some secret back trails, very cool!). The highlight of our trip was viewing a breathtaking sunset off the back deck of the boat as we left Boca Grande Key and headed back toward the Marina...have never seen so many stunning colors, was incredible (how many times have I used that word!!). I would recommend to anyone visiting Key West to skip the hotel and book with Bluesail, hire a boat captain and enjoy the experience of a lifetime. Could not have been a more perfect ladies trip - cant wait to come back!

Blue sail is awesome! We spent a day out on “Rogue Angel”, and it was amazing! The crew is the best, very knowledgeable of the local reef system, and quite capable navigators. The boat is impeccably clean, well equipped, and very steady for this sometimes sea sick stomach of mine. We enjoyed every minute of the trip. This is a premium adventure, with great value. I would not hesitate to book with Bluesail again. Next time will be a multi day/night trip which is on my bucket list.

What can I say about my experience with Bluesail? Simply amazing covers it. Scott helped us pick the right yacht for our group as well as walked us through everything to make sure all our needs were met. He even helped us find a few local bareboat captains to choose from!The actual trip itself was nothing short of stunning. I booked with Bluesail based on a recommendation from a sailing friend and had a great experience all week with Tyler while staying on the Beneteau Oceanis 38 we used for sailing instruction. The training was top notch and Tyler was an amazing teacher. With his help, I far exceeded my sailing goals for the week. We had a fantastic time! I cannot wait to come back and sail again with Bluesail. Also great location on Stock Island and comfortable marina with resort privileges - the new Perry Hotel property is very nice!

From start to finish, the BlueSail experience we had was nothing short of amazing. We inquired about five days of sailing training/review, and Scotts (the owner) response came back lightning fast. He offered on-site training on our boat with Captain Tyler, who agreed to make the trip from Key West to Saint Simons Island to spend a week with us. Over the course of five days we had an absolutely fantastic learning experience, which covered everything from climbing the mast to night sailing in rougher conditions. Tyler is not only the captain we all aspire to be, but he has also a way of imparting his wealth of knowledge in a way that it feels more like a vacation with a good friend than a training session. We chartered Kaimana for a 6 day/5 night trip...in spite of less than ideal weather conditions, every member of Bluesail went above and beyond to provide our group the trip of a lifetime! What an awesome level of customer service we received!! While the bad weather required a reschedule our whole experience felt like there wasn’t even a hitch because of the great service that Scott and his team gave us!Needed some ice, done. Asked for an extra fan, Scott was back in 30min.And on top of that the charter to Boca Grande with snorkeling at a reef in between was so much fun!Saw dolphins, rays and turtles galore!I can totally recommend both the charter experience out of Key West and to do it with Blue Sail!

Where to begin?!Honestly, booking with Bluesail and Scott was a last minute change of plans for us but it was the best decision weve made yet (short of deciding to get married and postpone our original honeymoon to HI. Yay for other COVID couples!!!!). Why you should rent from Bluesail:1. Scott and team (Jen) were completely accommodating in helping us with our reservation. We originally booked through AirBnB but because of some unfortunate AirBnB policies, we wouldnt have been able to take the boat out. Scott was more than accommodating to work with us and readjust the booking such that we would be able to take the boat out for a day.2. On top of helping with abundance for the booking, his recommendation for the Captain - Captain Jack - was phenomenal. Jack is down to earth, easy to work with, has a remarkable life story and experience, and generally someone you should trust with operating an expensive vessel. Were already thinking about booking again and will request Captain Jack (and Scott!!)3. The boat was in incredible shape - clean, we felt safe, and the marina is phenomenal. We stayed on a catamaran and are hoping to book the same boat again the future.4. We didnt want to leave so ended up booking another night at the hotel in the marina - the Perry Hotel. If you decide to do the same - connect with Scott before you do as Bluesail can help to secure a discount (we didnt do this as we didnt know but Scott was looking out for us and told us about it afterwards - he really is the best.)5. Scott and Jen were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire experience.Long story short, book with Bluesail - you wont go wrong.

Everything about our stay aboard Rogue Angel was absolutely perfect! Parking at the marina was easy, and our Bluesail. We spent the entire day sailing around in the beautiful turquoise waters around Key West. We spent Thanksgiving dinner sailing on the beautiful turquoise waters watching the sunset! We couldn’t have asked for a better day. Huge thanks to Bluesail for providing such an amazing boat and a one of kind experience! Great experience overall, wed definitely do this again!

Wow! I cant say enough about Bluesail -- Scott was professional, friendly and attentive to our needs/requests. The boat we chartered, Rogue Angel, was amazing and immaculate -- a compact floating hotel suite offering romance and adventure in comfort and style! The Stock Island marina/hotel complex offered stellar amenities, including fire pits, swimming pool, restaurants, and free transportation to Key West. Our sailing experience was delightful -- our competent captain provided friendly, relaxing sailing days, in which we enjoyed dolphin sightings, beach combing uninhabited islands, and cocktails during gorgeous sunsets. We were also provided the opportunity to explore coral reefs, sunken ships, and swim in the pristine waters of the Dry Tortugas! I dont think you could find a better outfit to work with than Bluesail. Scott was totally committed to providing us with a great experience. His attention to detail went above and beyond! Spoiled, we were absolutely spoiled by our experience on SV Rogue Angel. From the moment we began communication with Captain Rick, I knew we were in for a real treat. He did an excellent job feeling us out for our plans for the trip and then instantly began customizing our experience. Our family has been toying with the idea of purchasing a catamaran to live on for a period, so this was a perfect next step.Prior to setting foot on the boat, we were sent links to NauticEd courses to begin to learn the art and edicate of sailing. Once onboard, Captain Rick had us actively involved in the process at a level that we were completely comfortable. He referenced many of the topics from the NauticEd classes and helped us move the course learning to the real world. Rick was very elegant in his ability to read our levels of understanding, re-explaining as needed, and never speaking over our heads. Getting to be an active partner in the sailing experience was a huge highlight for our family.SV Rogue Angel is impeccably clean, well stocked with exactly what you need but with enough open space for us to store our personal belongings. With the family on board, all our scuba gear, and provisionings we never felt cramped.Rick also knew about our familys passion for diving. His experience in the area allowed us to find the best dive sites given the currents and swell and because of his vast experience, he was able to pick mooring balls at each site that provided the passengers on the boat maximum comfort while getting the divers close to the best diving. The lobster spot he took us to was excellent! Lobster on the grill at sunset was an excellent way to celebrate the harvest.What else can I do to make this experience perfect for you? was asked several times during our trip. With the sailing, swimming, diving, lobstering, fishing, rope swinging, and a little relaxing, the only complaint we have is that we need longer days to fit it all in.Hands down, Bluesail and SV Rogue Angel provide a top notch experience and we recommend them without hesitation. We will be back; this experience cant be beat!

It’s hard to know where to start, our representative Scott and Jen were incredibly helpful and gave very clear instructions about what to expect. When we arrived the Boat was in perfect condition, we all had our own cabin and each was decorated with nautical themes. We didn’t need anything. Everything we needed was already onboard and Jen was wonderful at showing us all the switches, how the Bathrooms or Heads, Radio and Stove worked. We were really looking forward to sailing for a few days and exploring some deserted small islands off Key West, unfortunately there was a tropical storm heading our way. We were lucky enough to go out for a day before the storm hit. We had an incredible Captain. His Name is Tyler. He was so knowledgeable about sailing, the weather, the navigation systems, he knew every inch of the boat. I was so excited to get to lay on the front of the boat and just watch the Jib sail roll out. Absolute peace, serenity. Tyler made us feel so comfortable that we were safe. We went to a small little cove where the water was calm and we all jumped in the water and he was nice enough to take a million pictures we asked him to take. I have always had a love for the ocean and nature, as i lived on a small sailboat as a child and it always created so many happy memories for me. I asked Tyler if i could take the Helm for a little bit and he let me and i asked lots of questions. He was gracious to answer them all and was enthusiastic to show me all the instruments and how to somewhat read them, only because of my lack of knowledge. It truly inspired me to want to look more into sailing. I retired less than a year ago and decided.... I’m doing it. Once we docked my friends and I all agreed that we will be doing this again. I have chartered boats in many different places, fishing boats in curaçao, dive boats in the Bahamas, pontoon boats on lakes, snorkel boats in St. Kitts and Nevis, etc, but for me the quietness of sailing is above and beyond them all. The trip can only be described as spectacular, of course we had to leave a little earlier than we wanted to dodge the storm, but that can’t be helped. I’d highly recommend the Rogue Angel, BlueSail and Tyler.

Local and fine dining offers everything from Cuban sandwiches to some of the most exquisite seafood.You could easily enjoy paradise on shore in the marina at the Perry Hotel or just lay back floating on a beautiful yacht.I will be booking with them again in the future to take a couple sailing courses!

Chartered a catamaran from BlueSail for 4 nights. Wonderful experience. The boat was in excellent condition. We will definitely be back. And Key West is a great bareboat destination. Lots to see, great fishing and beautiful scenery.

Have been recommending this company to all of our friends. Memories forever doing something we wouldnt normally do. Had a wedding of our lives sailing to island in the Gulf of Mexico..We recommend them to anyone and Captain Tyler made the trip! Thanks again

Please don’t bother renting from them. Horrible experience for me and my two girl friends. We rented the boat from air B&B and used it as a hotel, and it costed over $2000 for three nights of stay.The rooms and bathrooms were very small and different from what we expected based on the pics we saw on line.We ran out of water twice during our stay and the host was very rude and didn’t come to help us right away, after we already returned home, the host claimed that we have burned their coffee maker and wanted to charge us extra $40 for it. It wasn’t identified as check out (they sent two people in person to do the walkthrough). Air B&B removed my review I guess the host complained... so I leaving it here for future guests to see. They only show 5 star reviews ok air B&B and it is not right.
