Capt Donnie is an absolute legend. If you want to catch huge tuna/wahoo/swords and have an epic trip he’s definitely your man. We will undoubtedly be fishing with Captain Donnie again. Worth every penny.

Had an awesome experience fishing with Captain Kerry! Very knowledgeable and laid back. Made things fun and chill. My father in law and I were catching 5 different types of fish all day and ended with both of us getting a shark! Such a great time! Would go again.

Full day with a great guide and new friend ... cant wait to wet lines again.. he has great patience and worked my wife to learn to fish use a spinning rod. .. oh BTW she out fished me and she got her keys triple !!! Well done CAPT Kerry

We picked Capt. Kerry from a simple web search, pot luck since we were new to Key Largo. We are very experienced freshwater fishermen, and needed to try the Everglades! What a great day we had! Large Snook, Jacks, and more trout than we could count. Kerry is a pleasure to spend the day with, funny, fair, and easy going. He tells you what you can expect, and lets you make changes based on the real conditions. His boat handles very well, and the rods and reels are high quality in great condition.His knowledge of the area is spot on.We will be back to fish with Tails Up, for sure!

Our visit to Key Largo and Islamorada was incredible thanks to Kerry at Tails Up Fishing! His willingness to share his knowledge of the back country and the area’s history, made it feel like a guided tour. We fished with Captain Kerry on New Year’s Eve and I can’t say enough about our experience. Originally, we had scheduled to charter our trip on December 30th - Captain Kerry was 100% upfront and honest, and advised that we postpone our trip to the next day based on rain in the forecast. He made it very clear from the start that he wanted us to have the best experience possible, and that he valued our time and financial commitment - he could easily have taken us out for a subpar day of fishing and weather, but he doesn’t run his business that way. He was super easygoing, and was very patient with my very novice fiancée, along with my occasionally-struggling self. He guided our day based on what WE wanted to do and what WE wanted to catch - he involves his clients in all of the decision-making during the trip. It’s very clear that Captain Kerry has a passion for fishing, and cares about this ecosystem. And the icing on the cake - he guided my fiancée to landing a 35.5 inch snook.
