My fiancé and I had the pleasure of doing a fishing charter with Captain Chris. He was very accommodating and knowledgeable. I felt so spoiled not having to cast my own pole or bait my own hook! We saw everything from manatee, dolphins, sharks, and even caught an exceptional amount of fish. I would recommend Chris to individuals, couples, and families. Chris Hanson is the real deal!My wife and two sons (nine and six) have done several trips with different charters in the keys and this one by far was the best. My 2 sons alone caught 50 fish in the matter of a 2-3 hours. Chris is very patient with kids and runs a first-class tour. The boat was great and the experience was amazing. I highly recommend Chris!

We had a great afternoon on the water with Chris and his daughter Haley. There were four of us (two couples) and we were on the fish in no time. We went to two different locations 15 minutes from the dock and caught 20 snook (one keeper) and 40 reds (five keepers which is limit).We were hauling them in four at a time! Chris was quickly baiting our hooks, measuring our catches and always answering our questions. We had a ball !Got back to the dock, he cleaned our fish, bagged them up and told us to go to Captain Craigs restaurant for dinner. Our waiter said let me take these, I know what to do. He returned with our fish prepared four ways and we had the best seafood dinner ever.Would highly recommend Chris.

Captain Chris was was very professional and hard working. Kept our lines in the water catching fish. We caught black drum, red fish, snook, mangrove snapper, and jack crevalle on a back country 1/2 day trip. We will be back to see Captain Chris.

Awesome experience, boat was clean and ready on time. Chris was friendly and knowledgeable and his daughter Haley was his assistant who was really nice and helpful. Chris was a safe driver, quickly knew when to go to knew spots and kept us baited and equipped. We caught several fish some were last he enough to keep. He taught us some tricks and definitely helped us hook a few, we caught snappers and schnook as well as a few small barocudas. Boat was large and in great shape same as the rods and reels; brand new. The man really cares about the water and even found and cleaned up some trash he found in the channel along the trip. Chris cleaned the fish well and reccomended ways to cook as well as a local restaurant that would prepare and cook it for us which we tried and was excellent!

Always a great day of fishing! Ive been fishing since I was a kid and I have never come across a guide with more skill than Chris. He knows where the fish are whether you want to fish the patches Oceanside fishing or go back country. We plan on coming back, Chris is our guy!

We came down to Key Largo for our honeymoon and did a 4 hour backcountry fishing trip with Chris. This fishing trip was a bucket list item for my husband and man it did not disappoint! Chris was amazing and the trip was wonderful! We had a blast. It was the highlight of our trip!! HIGHLY recommend!!!I don’t fish but my husband does and I even had a blast! Chris is a great teacher. Chris is not only a great captain but he’s a great guy as well. He took the time to teach my son and made it a truly great day. We probably had 40-50 fish to the boat. Snook, redfish, trout, snapper & jack. Probably my fifth trip with Chris but it won’t be the last. Highly recommend.

Went out in latter part of July, amazing fishing! Went to multiple spots. Saw dolphins, a manatee and even a crocodile. Chris is very personable, accommodating and professional. Mrs Macs cooked our fish for lunch, it was incredible. Highly recommend Captain Chris!

Capt Chris Hanson took my wife and I out for a few hours, put us on the fish and had a blast with him. Couldnt have asked for a better trip!!!

We chose this trip as it stays local and gives more fishing time.Captain Chris could not have been more helpful and encouraged my son to cast hard even if it got caught in the mangoves it was not a problem! After a quick stop for live pilchards we got off to flying start! a big Jack each and lost a nice shark, Chris moved us around to get on the fish and showed us different tactics. In the end we caught snook, lots of decent snapper and a beautiful sea trout which Sundowners cooked for us last night, needless to say it tasted great!
