I got curly hair and have always had problems with barbers cutting it too short and finding ways to mess up my cuts. This is my 4th time getting cut by Bodey and I’ve always left the shop being extremely satisfied. Most professional shop in the area and being able to schedule a specific time for my haircut makes it much easier. 10/10 would recommend

Took my 7 year old here because I wanted a barber shop feel for him and I love how “down to earth” it is.. all the guys there are friendly. I love the time taken on my son’s hair. I have told many friends how great this place is. $15 for a kids cut is only a $1 more than great clips and so much worth it!

Great haircuts but extremely poor time management. Totally messed up my anniversary plans! EXTREMELY UPSET about how horrible they manage their time! Who runs a shop and doesn’t maintain the scheduled time! I get it 10-30 mins late. But you don’t even show up! How unprofessional

If you’re looking for the best barber in the Dayton area, go to West Barber Shop and ask for Kyle. I have been getting cut by him for over a year now and every time the cuts just keep getting better. Hands down the best barber I’ve ever had and the only one I’ll ever get cut by in the future. His work exceeds expectations and is very reasonable, trust me when I say it’ll be the best cut you ever get.

I have been getting my hair cut by several shops in the area for the past 15 years and Kyle at West Barbershop has given me the most outstanding haircut Ive had yet. Kyle was understanding of what I wanted and nailed it on the first try. So if youre in need for a cut go to West Barbershop on Woodman and ask for Kyle. Very professional and experienced barber and he will hook you up with a great cut at a reasonable price!

Kyle faded me up and Im very picky. now I have a great new style that I like And I am no longer self-conscious about my hairstyle. I also think hes a bit of a perfectionist which automatically make him that much better than the average Barber.. Ill be bringing my son next time also! Thank you

Kyle is the man. I went in to the barber shop and right away was greeted and sat immediately. Kyle was the barber who cut my hair and he did an amazing job. He hooked me up with the cut that I’ve been wanting. I came to this shop a while back but this time Kyle made my experience amazing and is definitely changing West Barbershop on Woodman.

Don’t pay attention to the rating below 4 stars, awesome place! Kyle straightened me up great, awesome customer service, fast but also quality work. The only recommendation I would give is they get a landline or store phone or something. I tried calling multiple times over a few days and never got an answer. But that wasn’t the barbers fault and doesn’t take away from the service I received.

I started going here 2 months ago, and it’s been phenomenal every time. You are treated like you’ve been going there for years, jokes are being told, sports talk. It’s a fun experience. Eli gives consistent quality haircuts and is extremely polite and professional. I highly recommend going to this shop for a cut.

I have been bringing my son to this shop since June and Eli is amazing. My son and I have always felt welcomed by all the barbers. I would recommend this shop to anyone who is looking for great service, price and atmosphere.

Definitely will not be returning. Took my 3 year old son to get a haircut and it turned out horrible so now i have to spend more money to have someone fix it. And i still gave the guy a $5 tip. Maybe theyre just not good with kids.

Just want to start with saying this barber shop is the most consistent and friendly shop around. I strongly suggest everyone to ignore rodrigo’s review on this shop. Brenden, along with every other barber, always does a great job on everyone’s haircuts and his clients walk out happy with the work he’s done. They are all very hard workers and typically have a constant flow of customers. Great spot to get a haircut, I recommend it to everyone is the Dayton area.

I scheduled an appointment today for 1PM.. When I arrived I was told they were just finishing up and would be with me in 10 or so. No problem. I stand outside and wait for 30 minutes.. When I come in and they still aren’t finished with the same customer I asked if it was like this all the time or if I caught them on a bad day. I am offered no response aside from a blank stare. I restated my question and was told it would be 15 more minutes or I can come back later.. As if I hadn’t just spent 30 minutes waiting on an appointment. Extremely disappointed as a new potential customer.I was speaking with a female barber, I did not catch her name. I thought I had scheduled with the same person I spoke to on the phone but was apparently mistake.

Worst place to get a hair cut! Very unprofessional. Its pretty much a high school barber class with all the immaturity that come with it. Try woodlane barbers across the street they are amazing.

Being military I go from Barber Shop to Barber shop, it is difficult to find barbers who are consistent and proficient. The young gentlemen, Bodey and Eli, here have found a way to balance professionalism with personable character which creates a very welcoming environment matching this generations tolerant and open minded nature. Due to their robust clientele I would suggest making appointments on busier days of the week (fridays, saturdays and mondays) and make sure to follow up. These boys know what theyre doing and everybody knows it!

Todays haircut was a phenomenal experience, all the way around. The best haircuts by far.

Very disappointed at this place, the barber brenden bodey is not professional at all. He waste my time big time December 20 . I had always set appointment atleast one day before coming for a haircut. I set my appointment at 4:30 the day before . He change the time for me 4 time then told me he won’t be able to cut my hair . I use to love this place cause the guy are good barber but they not professional. You can be a good barber but if you not professional you will never be successful. He literally was my time this day. Drove for 30 minutes to come get a hair cut at this place . He change my hair cut like 4 time when I had set the appointment at 4:30. I drove all the way to Kettering for a haircut on my way to the door I receive a text saying he can’t Until 5, then I waited in the car for another 30 minutes then he text me telling me he can’t until 5:30. Then on my way to get in he text me saying he was not able to do it do to he was busy when I set my appointment a day before . I will not be getting my hair cut here, they might don’t like me cause I’m gay or idk . I always tip them 5-10 dollar eveytime I go, they had give me great hair cut and sometime don’t. I like the black dude he a great barber but I text him last time and he refuse to give me a hair cut idk I always tip tho so idk why they treat me that way. But anyway this place is lack of professionalism and that a very bad thing . I won’t be back, you guys lost a customer.
