We originally took our RV to Ronnie Bocks Kerrville RV because we were having problems with our galley slide out. Of course while there we mentioned our engine air conditioning wasnt getting cold, the steering wheel had some vibrations and wanted to have sealant on rv checked. Kevin the service manager mentioned that Lemeilleurs down the street could handle those problems and they would arrange a transfer our RV. So off it went to Lemeillers, we received a call and was very impressed with how the problems would be addressed. Met with the service manager, David, and was shown and explained the process of fixing the problems. From now on Lemeillers RV will be our repair destination. Thank you David for making this experience pleasurable.
Stay away from this shop! Long story so please read on. Net lots of money and nothing fixed.I took my Motorhome into shop back in early 10/2020 mainly to get 1 roof AC to work. I asked while in shop if they could also look at a couple miner issue, 1 with outside awning, and other with one hydraulic slide out would creep out.Well after about 2 weeks, they said it would be months for AC and Awning parts.. and I would need to come back later for those. They said they could fix the hydraulic slide. They charged me $145 to analyze and said it was the 4 hydraulic lines that were leaking and Sweating fluid.. The total cost of this repair came to $4227.85. I drove coach home on 11/25/2020 (Yes 2 months after bringing it their). Next morning the slide had creeped out again.I called and told them what had happened. I took the coach back to them several days later. This week 2/4/2021 I picked the coach up and was charged an additional $320.86 to diagnose yet again... They said they now believe it is an internal issue with the cylinders and they can not find nor get parts. I would need to pay an additional $2500++ to get someone to rebuild them. (And they had NO outlook on who could rebuild, exact costs, or time it would take to complete)Sooo.. after 4227.85 + 320.62 = $4548.47 my coach is in the same exact shape as it was on the day I took it to them 4 Months ago. Not to mention they broke the wire out of my fog light which is close to hydraulic system. I now have to order new fog lamp cause the wire it not connected inside the sealed lamp.NET: They are incompetent mechanics and insane in their billing and customer service practices. I have pictures that demonstrate No leaks anywhere around either cylinder. So if lines were bad up front where they go into tank, why no leak/sweat in either bay where cylinders are. Also.. Why do my hydraulic jacks still work and there is nothing wrong with those hydraulic lines...Stay away from this shop..!
Not a fan of Lemeilleurs RV Repair (Must give one star to be able to post)I called to schedule a time to take my RV to have some service work done as we had some trips coming up. As expected, they were a busy and a date forward was set. I drove the RV to them as scheduled, I was greeted well and they were expecting me. So far things were great.Getting the RV to them as planned, days later, no call, no update which was promised. After leaving a couple of messages, I finally was able to speak to the service writer. I was told they had not looked at the RV yet as others were in front of mine. I asked about the schedule time and the best I received was, things came up. Pressing him for when, he tells me that I have a very long list of service items and that will take time.I was not able to pick the RV up that evening as I live too far. I arranged to pick it up and was there. The service writer had it outside the gate. No delays, no apology, and NO EXPLANATION of the damage they caused to the RV. I discovered the damage to the shoreline reel after getting it home and to plug it.I contacted the owner, a delightful lady. She scheduled a time for a call with her, her Manager and myself. The call went fine, as one should expect, the wanted to investigate. It was a week maybe 10 days later, I had emailed/contacted the Manager for a follow up. One of the guys was on vacation and what ever else caused the delays and no bother to give a call or email to let me know.Ultimately, it was undisputed that one of their employees damaged the shoreline as well the reel. However, they would not accept the financial cost of repair or replacement.Lemeilleurs reputation of costing more and worth it, well not so much. Not a place that I would recommend. When I shared the story with a friend, he laughed and said, that is why I dont use them,
I have used this business before and was very happy with them. Then I took my motorhome in to be repaired again. I did not have an appointment, but I was not in a hurry and did not demand that they hurry with it. In fact, I TOLD them that I was not in need of it. I had PRINTED everything out that I needed them to look at....including ordering a new fridge, working on slides, and checking for a leak in the propane tank....this was not going to be a small amount of work....my husband and I then decided to trade the RV for a newer one and I called the shop and told asked them if they had started work on it....they politely told me they had not and would not do work on it until next Friday which would have been approximately 8 days....and that was fine with me...again, I was not mad. I had not planned on trading it until I had found what I wanted... ..I told them I was going to pick it up because we were trading it and I needed to take it to the RV dealership. 24 hours later I get a phone call saying that they had done work on it and wanted to know what else they needed to do. I asked what had they done and they told me they had checked the tires, the oil, and belts....and then proceeded to tell me that that would be $145.00......for what I asked?!!!! and then he got cocky with me and informed me to never bring the coach back and that is what I got for not having an appointment....these people have a beautiful business, and when the original owner was alive a very reputable and sound business, but they are now unprofessional, rude, liars, and crooked. AND BY ALL MEANS DO NOT WALK INTO THE STORE WITHOUT AN APPOINTMENT. They cannot handle that.
We had spent the night at a local RV park an noticed a noise from the RV the next day while driving to town for groceries. The noise continued to get worse and we knew we were in trouble. Found a listing for LeMeilleur and called, it was a busy Friday afternoon but the offered to have a look. The test drive with a technician confirmed that we had a wheel bearing issue. Our service advisor Daniel checked and found that there were no parts immediately available for our older motor home so rather than leave us stranded without a home for the weekend he arranged for the parts and we were able to spend the weekend with ore RV at the campground. Smart, very smart. On Monday morning we were back in the shop and the work was started, I had the opportunity to see the issue and talk to the tech in there very clean and professional service shop. We ever kept well informed and all the work was done per the estimate and completed on time. A fantastic experience at a gem of a shop with a great waiting area, clean restrooms. Can do attitude by everyone and great value for the money. Thanks to them we are back on the road as happy campers.
Very friendly, professional, and they did a great jobI recommend this repair shop to everyone!
They are very nice and do a great job they are truly professional people
Very nice clean friendly place. Just had an inspection done. Have used them for years, never had a complaint.
Last week, we took our RV to LeMeilleur’s RV Truck & Equipment Repair for an annual state safety inspection. We arrived a few minutes after opening in the morning and they immediately conducted the inspection. They were friendly and courteous. We will definitely go back for RV inspection, or a repair, if need be. Thanks!!!
Was able to schedule a Check-up on my RV. Several issues were noted and I chose to have service deal with them. My Sprinter brake sensors activated after getting work done. Dealership didnt really offer any solution for what I felt was something their technician may have triggered while doing brake job.Everything else was great. Prices reasonable.
Got estimate for replacing a/c compressor, several hundred less than another shops estimate. Friendly people, was told main mechanic was not only ASE certified but was continuing training for Master Mechanic, very impressive.
We needed cosmetic work done after a blown tire. David kept us informed about parts shipment, reminders about appointments, and just overall professionalism. Very happy with their concern for us, especially since we are full time rvers..........Thank you, Brian Turner
Arranged to stay nearby and get an oil change on my RV. When we arrived the guy that was supposed to be the manager was very rude and told us that we had to remove the tow car and dolly because they only know how to change oil in a bay. He then told us that the oil change would be $283.Don’t spend money at a place that treats travelers like thusVery interesting response to our post. Did not mention the conversations we had with this business before going there. Nor did they mention that the service that offered for an oil change was $283. Do you want a $283 oil change from anyone?
They did their best to get me back on the road ASAP while keeping me informed on the progress, thanks David and crew.
High end vehicle repair. Nicest facility in town. Certified mechanics. Great staff carrying on Mr. Lemeilleurs traditions of exceptional service.
Well the first time I sent my wife to get are AC fixed. They told her it needed a new AC pump and new lines. We did not do it because he said there were no gurantee Thats what it was. So i sold my car to a buddy he went back to them they put a dye in the lines and found a leak fixed it for less then 100 bucks . second time my truck with 98,000 miles was knocking tryd to get it towed to there shop and the man over the phone tryd to sell me a new engine over the phone. So I found another mechanic who replaced the oil pump for 300 plus the pump low and behold my truck is running great.... I wouldnt recommend them.
I had to take my rv to another shop immediately after paying these guys 4 grand! Not too impressed, go elsewhere if you can.
Friendly and helpful front office, awesome technicians! We took our 2018 Class C in for an oil change, alignment, and to fix a few issues with our tires to include installing new valve extensions. We also had a tank-less water heater we wanted installed. First observation when walking into LeMeilleurs was how clean the front office AND the bays were. They did a great job putting together the estimate and clearly communicated the time required so we could make plans. Technicians took care of everything, and from what I can see their quality of work exceeded our expectations. Took a 20 minute hot shower when we got back to our campsite!
Excellent customer service. Looking for something for your RV see these guys.
Best Ive ever experienced...Professional, Knowledgeable, Fast Service ...Took my 98 F150 in for oil change and inspection service for any needed preventive maintenance. David took time to explain the results of inspection and which items needed attention soon and why. Waiting area and shop are immaculately clean, view of shop was nice to watch work being done. Free WiFi and coffee always appreciated. Tracy in front office was also helpful in answering questions and making sure I was comfortable while waiting.
Even though they were unable to complete our repair because we could not find a place to stay while waiting for the parts, they got us in the same day to inspect the damage & give us the estimate. Super friendly people especially Dave and Tracy!
Great service! Great time! They always do a great job!
Very attentive. Good workmanship. Knowledgeable staff. We will definitely stop here again if needed. Appreciated their prompt response to our problem.
Outstanding professional, courteous service from a family owned business. They make me feel like a valued customer even though the service they provide for me monthly is small. Great atmosphere and comfortable surroundings while you wait. I love LeMeilleur’s!
Absolutely excellent service! Had a grounding issue I couldnt figure out was passing through they got me right in and back on the road in just under an hour!! Will definitely recommend them!
Thankyou David for being as polite, patient and professional as you were on the phone yesterday, you pointed me in the right direction with the problem we were having with our Lippert leveling system, you are a credit to your company . We will not hesitate to recommend your company to others and would certainly use you services in the future.
Great company, I use them myself!
This is THE place to take your RV. Friendly, helpful, courteous, polite, knowledgeable just to name a few things. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
We had some work done there and were frustrated by the rude staff and over priced service. But sadly we didn’t feel like we had many other options so we took the RV back to them and got an estimate to work on the generator. It was outrageous. We took it somewhere else and paid 1/5 of the price to get the work done well. We will never go there again.
The staff is friendly and professional. Cleanest shop Ive ever seen of any kind. They found some unexpected problems and had to keep it overnight and helped us find lodging. Its going to take some getting used to the RV going in the same direction I want it too!
They took our bus during the Pandemic an got it working great. They were very friendly an professional. If you are ever in Kerrville an need a repair shop look them up!
We live in Indiana but were interested in buying a vintage travel trailer from a private seller in Kerrville, TX. The seller agreed to tow the trailer to Lemeilleurs for an inspection. It was extremely helpful as out of state buyers to get their inspection report! Price of the inspection seemed reasonable compared to the couple other places we called, and it was thorough. We mostly worked with David (D2). He fielded A LOT of calls from us with questions re: the trailer as we tried to make our decision, and he was always patient, professional, and knowledgeable. If we lived in TX, wed use them again!
Havent been there
I was very pleased with the service I received. Was traveling thru town and needed immediate attention. Tracey fit me in; David took good care of the situation, and Daniel got a diagnosis and fix in record time! You are all terrific. Thank you sincerely, from an Oregon traveler.
Employees were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They did a great job, at what I felt was a fair price, and they kept the work areas clean. They even warmed the unit, as it was quite chilly on Tuesday am when I picked it up.
Excellent place. We are camped 360 miles from home and had problems with our tow vehicle and the motorhome swaying. David got us in the same afternoon and was very knowledgeable. Got our issue fixed. Highly recommend.
We are so happy to find LeMeilleurs for our 2014 Volvo service needs! Prior we were driving to Austin for scheduled service appointments... LeMeilleurs is a knowledgeable, professional and trustworthy. The promptness and thoroughness means a lot to us and we highly recommend for ones to become a customer, too!
Had multiple repairs and replacements done to our RV. It took 21 days to get everything completed. Delays were mostly caused by waiting for parts to be delivered. Awnings had to be custom made which took time. The staff contacted us on a regular basis to keep us updated on the job progress. We are back in our home and are very pleased with the outcome. Everything we wanted done was done and done well. We are very happy we used their services.
We were on the road from Florida to California when our travel trailer wheel/axle started making a squeaking/rattling noise. We called and spoke with David who said he could take a look first thing the next morning. Everyone was so friendly and professional. The shop is clean and there’s a comfy waiting area. They told us up front what what a diagnostic would cost and took my husband back to show him what they’d found. After repairs were done David and my husband took a short road test to make sure everything looked good. It’s clear these folks know their stuff and care about customer service. We were back on the road within 3 hours. Would highly recommend them.
We were treated very well. All of the personnel was helpful and knowledgeable. Billy was our go to guy and he was wonderful. He said he could finish the job by a certain time and it was done. We are very satisfied. Thank you for a job well done.
We had an appointment to get our brakes checked. As it turns out, our brakes were fine, but the suspension was a mess - shot bushings, loose shock and an equalizer arm that was seriously worn! It took time to get the parts (shipped the wrong ones the first time), and to get approval from the extended warranty company, but they had the work completed and had us back on the road when they said they would! We had no idea how bad the suspension was, so when we got back on the road. we were amazed at how stable the 5th wheel felt! Everyone was very accommodating, and were good at communicating what was happening. Because of their desire to do repairs correctly, we feel much safer traveling.
This was my first visit to LeMeilleurs but it wont be my last. My AAA membership provided the opportunity to get a 40 point maintenance check on my car and they also did my state required inspection which was due. I was immediately greeted and the paperwork was promptly processed. The waiting area was very comfortable and I enjoyed a fresh cup of coffee while waiting. They were courteous, efficient and I believe they appreciated my business. Thank you LeMeilleur employees. My experience there was a positive one.
No easy way to take the RV into the service area. Needed to replace a kitchen faucet, they didnt carry a replacement. Told us to buy one somewhere, bring it to them, and they would make the repair. For $125.00! We bought a faucet, replaced it ourselves.
My blessings to the owner David God Rest his soul and bless his family the service there has always been the greatest experience the staff is very professional and the mechanics provide you with a great service
Passing through Kerrville and needed someone to look at our propane because it wasnt working. We were told they were too busy and asked if they could recommend anyone else in town. They said no they couldnt. Ended up going to another place that had excellent service and got us in and out in 10 min!! They told us by law anyone calling with a gas issue has to be looked at immediately.😡
Good service, clean shop, accommodating, friendly and professional a bit expensive.
Customer service is excellent, they let you know step by step of what is needed and offer the best possible solution. I would highly recommend Lemeilleurs, this will be my first choice for repairs in the future! Thanks guys for the awesome service!
Our passport camper had a problem with the front cap separating from the roof. They repaired it in a short time and for a good price. Everyone was helpful and Im pleased with the service.
Brought my travel trailer in for state inspection last year. It was done while I waited. This year planned to do the same and have the inspection on the tow vehicle. Appointments were scheduled and even dropped the vehicles off the evening before. The work was completed but the bearings on one axle was bad. They saved the bearing and showed what was wrong. They were always in contact. Knowledgable, friendly, helpful. Charges were quoted when I made appointment. The bearing issues was unknown at that time of the appointment but was communicated to me when they found it. They had already ordered the bearings and did wait for my authorization. I was charged the original estimate and for the bearings. They have my business and recommendation. Thank you.
It was great! I went in for an oil change and they noticed my engine light was on. I just thought it was on because of the oil light. There was a significant problem with my car. They let me know, told me an approximate cost and fixed it the same day. I knew my tires were getting bad. Id had a blow out recently and replaced that tire. I got a great price on new tires to be put on at a later date.
Very knowledgeable and proficient technicians. Will return the next time I need repairs on my RV!
The staff provide excellent service. They kept me informed of the status of repairs while they dealt with my insurance company. Their service technicians did a great job and went above and beyond to diagnosis and fix some unusual problems. I use LeMeilleurs exclusively.
Poor diagnostics, they charge for a full hour, but most of that hour theres nobody around the vehicle, then I find out after I get my vehicle back together the problem is with something that couldve been ruled out by a simple test they didnt do. And when I call to find out whats going on I get tone when Im talking nicely just trying to figure out what was done. They didnt tell me rings, but they didnt rule out rings, instead they told me valves, and expected rings to be implied. And I thought it was implied by them not mentioning the rings that the rings were ruled out. I guess not. Poor diag. Poor communication. Now I need to take the engine back apart and spend more time and money because of this.
Called and received an appointment the next day. I was called twice with updates on requested repairs. Work done to my complete satisfaction by a very friendly staff. I have and will continue to recommend LeMeilleurs to my friends.
Passing though from Florida to Alaska. Stopped to see if our tires were ok. While they were booked, they checked our tires (requiring removing the duals) and had us out in less than an hour. Clean, friendly, pet friendly. Service your RV or truck here if local or passing threw!
Excellent experience with Dave and the whole crew. We had a complete change out of tires and wheels on our 5th wheel. They had everything ready to go as scheduled and got the job done in one day. Very courteous and careful with our home on wheels. Helped us with a couple of other things too that we werent aware of and could have caused problems down the road. We highly recommend Lemeilleurs.
What an awesome team at Le Meilleurs - they are the best! Good customer service and always able to determine what the problem is and always serving the community at the same time! We love you guys! A great big thanks goes out to all of you for charging the battery on Miss Kathy this morning so First Choice Reproductive Health could head to Fredericksburg to help vulnerable women facing unplanned pregnancies & more!
Gave us information to fix our problem & referred us to another business for supplies♡
They a always seem to have that obscure part I need. And always friendly.
On a referral from a friend we took our Winnebago diesel pusher to Lemeiller’s (Kerrville) for new tires. Staying in SanAntonio made the drive to Kerrville a concern. David Clark, the service manager, made our experience “outstanding” along with the entire team. Daniel, our technician was excellent as was Tracy in the office. These folks are very knowledgeable but most important they are HONEST! The entire facility was THE NICEST/CLEANEST place I’ve ever seen. They are proud of their business but most humble. We will go back whenever the need arises and the drive to their place is MORE than worth time.
Beautiful and comfortable place. I think it to be a fair place to go to for repairs.

They are ridiculous, every safety inspection ends with having to pay them big bucks,,,never again.
Professional and friendly staff. Reasonable pricing. Great communication policy. These folks are top notch.George Shryer
Brought my RV in for a State inspection, got me in and out in ten minutes.
12/2/15 Invoice 7427Today I returned to have work completed and to talk with someone (Billie was at training) about the above invoiced service. The man at the desk was unable to listen to what I was saying, got frustrated and refused to complete the work with the exception of installing a cabinet latch which had been ordered (at no extra charge). My complaint was that I was charged $114.40 for installing a light bulb. The cabinet latch had been ordered, but no work done and the faucet was never tested. All they had to do was to turn it on since the water tank was full and the water pump worked just fine. Instead they said on the invoice will need more time to connect water and diagnose faucet symptoms. So it took a full hr. to replace one light bulb and look at a cabinet latch? Went somewhere else and it took them 5 min. to listen to the faucet groaning and suggested I replace fixture since it didnt have parts due to age. (no charge for the diagnosis)Then, I was charged another $110 to diagnose an exhaust leak which I was told that it could be repaired with welding. If that didnt work, I would need a new catalytic converter. I was given a quote of 1 1/2 hrs. labor to weld and retest the P420 code. Frankly, I was relieved when the man at the desk refused to do the work as I didnt think that 1.5 hrs. was necessary to weld a leak.I immediately went to American Muffler and Brake where in 5 min. they saw the leak, told me that the after market converter was a good brand and in another 10 min. were able to weld it for a grand total of $32. including tax.In my opinion, I should be refunded at least 1/2 of the $114 to replace the light bulb.Just a customers opinion about poor service.Marcia Vallee99 Ford E350 Gulfstream, 21 ft.P.S. When the technician test drove my vehicle, apparently, he drove it too fast as one of my cabinets and refer emptied upon opening. This never happens when I drive it.
Great service facility. Saved my butt when my truck broke down. Fair and honest. Highly recommend.
Excellent customer service with superior deducted folks that do an excellent job. I would only come here for my automotive needs. Mr & Mrs. Haynes
Traveling from Montana to Florida, we needed to have some warranty work taken care of on our Class A . We had lost our Zone 1 Heating on our Aqua-Hot system. We called ahead and made an appointment for when we would pass thru the area. They said that it would not be a problem. We were treated as though we were a REGULAR. We can not say enough about the Great Service and employees, from the people that answered the phone to the Service Techs. The waiting room was 1st class. This is the way all RV repair shops should run. Thank you Lemeilleurs Top of the Line in our book.
For those of you who are reading these reviews, I can assure you beyond any shadow of a doubt, that once you take anything to David LeMeilleur to have it serviced you will not be disappointed! I have had my Tiffin Allegro Bus there on several occasions to have various things done-all without any problem whatsoever. And, it would not be fair not mention my beast!!! A 62 Chev Impala SS 409. And yes, he knows how to work on classics. This car has been a rather big challenge for Dave(as is the case with all classics). You just dont pick up the phone and call your local parts store for parts for your 55 yr old love. Make no mistake, through all the challenges and sweat, you can be assured that the work will be done exactly right-THE FIRSTTIME.Four stars are certainly not good enough for this facility. David, Denise(his wife), the staff, and all of the technicians are top flight!!!!
We started using LeMeillers over 4 yrs ago when they performed an emergency repair to our RV to allow us to continue a trip. They regularly service our diesel pusher and our autos. Repairs to our RV have included complicated diagnostics and tackling quite a range of mechanical or RV components. All have been completed with expertise and professionalism that have left us with great confidence in their ability to deal with any issue that might come up. We recommend LeMeilleurs without reservation.
I live in Fredericksburg. While visiting my mom, who was currently in the hospital in Kerrville, my car overheated. I also had my 86 year old father in tow. I was so fortunate to be right by Lemeilleurs. The very kind and wonderful staff took such good care of us. They researched and made all the appropriate calls in order to find my warranty and help us get a tow and ride back to Fredericksburg. While they were not able to work on my vehicle I am sure they would have done a great job and made every effort to make us comfortable as we waited for our ride even though we technically were not even a customer. This is the type of business that makes me proud of America!
My 2014 Casita Liberty Deluxe developed several small problems beyond me to fix - electric jack lube, color panel on fridge door blocked closing, insulation on battery cables needed shrink wrap, and Fan-tastic fan had fault so ran intermittently. I got quick service to repair all flaws. Now all my Casitas systems are 100%. Excellent service start to finish.
David tells it straight up ..no hidden fees..good warranty.. knowledgeable experienced mechanics.
I have used them a few times for my VW, they are excellent people and do excellent work, I highly recommend them
Had the best experience. Was out of town and front A/C went out in New Orleans. Headed to Kerrville TX where Lemeilleurs was recommended. I left coach for a couple days and had birh front and back replaced.A/C runs more efficient and lots quieter.I highly recommend most if all for integrity they have.Coty
Great place. And they just don’t do RV. They are full service people
10/7/15 I have an appointment, I turn the truck in at 8am, check the brakes. After 12 noon I get a call brakes are fine but there is water in the brake fluid, 4%. I agree to cleaning the pads and flushing, refilling and bleeding the brakes. Silence the rest of the day, shop closes at 5:30pm.10/8/15 I stop by at 8:30 am (shop opens at 7:30), mechanic is just now working on the brakes, they were snowed under yesterday. No answer to why it took 4 hours to pull 4 wheels and visually inspect pads and rotors ( I could have done that with a jack and a lug wrench in less time), no answer as to why with an appointment no one works on the truck. No answer as to why I was not called yesterday to give me the option to leave the truck overnight or reschedule the work. No answer why they can not foresee the work load and adjust scheduling as needed. Just excuses and apologies which do nothing, I was a worker, and management, planning and scheduling are basic to being successful. Finally get a call at 11am and the truck is done but there is a check engine light noticed yesterday that they will now finally check. Now you would have thought, being snowed under and all, that the service writer would have pitched in and helped, at least run the computerized check, I mean how hard can it be to hook up a couple of cables? Call back telling me what the issue is wanting to know if they should fix it. No!Please understand, in my younger days I was a mechanic, nothing mentioned requires any kind of certification to understand how to do it, and do it well. This is my second trip to Lemeilleurs new shop, the first time was with my Dodge p/u and that first time they were great - since then they became affiliated with NAPA. Not sure if that has anything to do with it, but they fell way down the customer service slope this time.Plan on it taking more time than you think is reasonable.EDITED TO ADD: So they had the truck for 13.5 shop hours, and booked 3.2 hours of work on the ticket - picked up the truck at 11:30 am.and talk about price gouging, under parts a quantity of one is listed under DOT 4 brake fluid. Napa, which they are affiliated with, list the RETAIL price for one LITER of DOT 4 at $12.49, they charged me $24.50 - I am a business owner so I know they do not pay retail.
We had an incredible experience working with Billy and the team at Lemeilleurs RV! Our Class A gas motorhome needed a new fuel pump and we had a very tricky situation-- the way our coach was built, the fuel tank was nearly impossible to access. The crew did an amazing job, came in under the estimated amount of labor, and earned our complete trust. They even reinstalled the fuel tank in a way that its easily accessible for future repairs. 1,000 miles later, we are still running like a dream! We had a Good Sam Extended Service Plan warranty and Billy worked tirelessly with the insurance adjuster to get the full coverage of the repair that Good Sam owed us! As always, insurance companies like to try to deny coverage right off the bat, but Billy worked so well with them and with us. Also, Lemeuillers labor has its own warranty, so theres an extra level of security with them.Lemeuillers is a rare kind of place-- honest, hard-working, and kindhearted folks who are incredibly knowledgeable and willing to fix the hardest of problems. Just a heads up-- this shop stays extremely busy because theyre the best in the area, so if you think you need to come in, call ahead and plan to leave your coach there while it gets fixed. Lemeilleurs is busy for a reason! We visited another local shop and were treated poorly-- very happy to have found Billy and his crew. Amazing service!
I had to go to work and my girlfriend went in to Lemuillers with a plethora of questions and concerns and they treated her with courtesy and respect. She was raving the entire day about how professional they were there, and weve committed to using them for all of our business.
Where do I start with this company? First off their business name should be Lemillions RV Truck their a huge rip off. I called in and told them problem was it needed a new fuel line for the high pressure injection system because the bolt was allowing fuel to come out the top of it, as well as new bolts on the fuel injection pump as they had rattled out causing this whole issue and was quoted $240 plus parts. Upon arrival they saw dollar signs as a mother and her young son in a dodge sprinter with 4 dirt bikes headed to California for his race and was desperate to get vehicle fixed as soon as possible due to time crunch. Once vehicle was inspected I was told they needed to check to see if we needed a new pump all together, would order the line and it also needed a new starter which was not an issue before. The van was covered in diesel due to the leaking from the line. So they charged $214 to clean under the hood as well stating they didn’t want us to go up in flames down the road. I told them nothing was wrong with the pump as I had already blocked that leak trying to get it to them and no fuel came out anywhere. So I was certain it just needed a new fuel line and replace bolts. Then their all time famous words “As long as nothing else goes wrong when taking this apart and putting back together” your looking at $1700 with parts and labor. Labor of 9 hours was calculated for this job insane. The next day they didn’t call me ahead of time they wait till I arrive at facility at 11:30 when my van was expected to be finished to notify me that the injection pump was moving around and they needed to take if off and reinsert in as it wasn’t properly inserted at a previous dealership. Wow 3 more hours of labor projecting to be $2100 now with my son and I in their waiting for another 3 hours for them to come out and tell me no it was inserted correctly just needed new bolts. I was furious as I had already stated to them at initial arrival it needed new bolts as a gentlemen at autozone had rigged some in there for me to make it to lemeilleurs. I told them are you kidding me? I told you this and they still argued with me stating reguardless pump had to come out and be reinstalled so it wasn’t a waste of time and this was the owners son now speaking with me. Then why wasn’t that tallied up in original quote that I signed. They test drove it and as soon as we pulled out not even a 100 ft the serpentine belt broke and wrapped a around the harmonic balancer which in result destroyed the front main seal. I called them took back and they concluded it to be coincidental they ordered belts quoting me $190 for serpentine belt and $89 for smaller belt as well as a week of repairs for the crank front main seal. We left and refused them to service anymore as that was totally unaffordable if 9 hours of work cost $2100 to still leave undrivable. Called Mercedes where they ordered the belts and picked up ourselves to find out serpentine belt was only $48 and smaller belt $22 they also asked us were these for lemeilluer bc they called for these same belts and we then told them what they were charging us after finding out true price and they informed us that lemeilluer gets a deal with them for even cheaper then what we got. So lemeilluer was making $190 profit off of parts alone in this case. Ironically I called and said I have parts if I could just pay them labor as I knew of no one else to help me and they refused service saying they had no available mechanics for remainer of week. Their a rip off and have absolutely no morales and I am now getting an attorney involved! We were towed to Dodge of Boerne Texas who at first couldn’t fit us in but after hearing our horrific story took us in immediately with owner and manager approaching us apologizing for what we had been through and said we were completely ripped off.
They can do our repair but wont commit to one day. They say we can just leave the Genny running. No a great solution for a full timee
We are from out of town and showed up after hours, they let us in and helped us out! Awesome people and service
Well, I should have asked but didnt when I took my 5th wheel in for service. Diagnostic fees are $145 an hour. The bill came out to $1700 plus for a microwave and a converter replacement. This included an AC check (which is what it went in for under Dometics recomendation). The AC unit was arcing and they never took the cover off to look at it. I find it uterly absurd to be charged $145 to be told the microwave doesnt work and another $145 to be told the converter isnt working. Nice shop, nice folks, I still cant get over the diagnostic fees.Sir,Thank you for taking the time to respond to my review. Upon reflection, I cannot give you 2 stars and have revised it to 3. I would like to point out 2 things regarding your response. I was not told of hourly rates until I was called and told what the total would be. It did not make sense not to have it done as the diagnostics had already been completed (getting billed). I also do not recall being informed that the rates would include time spent on the phone with the waranty company until I picked my unit.I do believe the AC should have been looked at from the roof as well as I could hear it shorting/arcing and the reason I found myself at your shop. The hourly rate falls squarely on me. I had no clue the labor was going to be what it was prior to the call authorizing the work. Honestly, I thought there had to be a mistake. This is my 5ft rv and the first time I have taken one in for work other than factory waranty. I know whats involved swapping out converters microwaves, ACs and the like. Please extend my apologies to your staff if they were uncorfortable. While I was certainly not pleased with the totals I thought that it was civil transaction.
This David LeMerlleurs repairshop . The best mechanic in Kerrville Texas. His employees or top notch as well. Stays booked for auto, truck, and recreation vehicles
When you are a stanger in a small town and you have no personal experience on the road with a mechanic this is the shop you want to be at. David the service writer was very instrumental in getting the job done of fixing our HOME!!! He made sure we were kept informed through out the process. We were schedule for service on some mechanical issues when we were hit by a hail storm the night before our appointment. Not only did they take the time to go over the whole motorhome they also got the parts ordered and installed with minimal inconvenience to our lives. God works are every where you look and he was certainly with us on our trip to Kerrville and Lemeilleurs family shop. As we head west we have the peace of mind of a 12 month 12000 mile warranty offered free with road side assistance.God bless and thank you, David2!!! and all the people who helped.M&M
We took our Kia in for odd inside tire wear. They put it on the Hunter alignment machine and both front and rear toe, caster and camber were out of factory specs. After doing a full alignment, they said if we reversed our tires (inside to outside) we could get another 2/3000 miles from them. We went with their recommendation and they remounted, balanced and rotated the tires. After the alignment, the car drove like new, straight and true and we did get those extra miles without issue.Over the years, David, Denise and their team have done work for me on a Class A motorhome, a couple of our cars and also our travel trailer. They recently installed a TPMS system on our dual axle Travel trailer and also balanced the wheels. The job was done as promised and on time. We have always found them professional, fairly priced and never an issue or problem with the jobs.
When breakdown occurs this is the place to call. On 1st day of vacation our RV broke down, Good Sam Club Roadside assistance not only found LeMeilleurs RV Truck & EQ for us but had us towed about 50 miles to this firm. LeMeilleurs RV diagnosed this issue, located necessary parts and had us on the road in 2.5 days! Nice and reliable people with the most professional shop I have ever encountered. When our RV requires service we will travel the 188 miles to have work completed by this shop!
You kept in touch to be aware of botth cost involved and what the problem is. You also discussed the method to be used to take caare of problem. I appreciated you dedication to to work properly and effectively.
About three years ago LeMeilleurs performed brake repairs on my motorhome. These repairs had previously been improperly performed by a major manufacturer associated repair shop, resulting in the motorhome becoming undriveable. LeMeilleurs worked me in on the spur of the moment and did the repairs right. Since that time I have used LeMeilleurs for everything from major engine repairs to routine maintenance and oil changes, even though they are more than 250 miles from where I live. Needless to say, I have been very pleased with their service and when I leave their shop I am confident that repairs and service have been done right.
I recently had an extreme cooling and over heating problem with the engine in my motorhome. The damage caused this incident was very extensive. Mr. Lemeilleur and his staff could not have been more diligent in repairing the engine. I appreciate his efforts to not only repairing it, but saving me from any unneccessary expense. It is very comforting to know there are still honest and reputable businesses available and I would encourage anyone needing services or repairs to contact this business.
Got charged $165 for them doing nothing on our diesel pusher. Wasted an hour and a half of our vacation. Ripped off! Do not recommend this place! Go just down the road to KerRVille sales parts and service. Much better place!
Great service, excellent work and everything was taken care of. Thanks for the great job
Excellent work, excellent customer service.
We took our Ford Edge to LeMeilleurs to have an Air Force One braking system installed (and took our Foretravel motorhome to have the corresponding components installed on the coach).LeMeilleurs is a rare business with (1) true craftsmen who take pride in their work and do it right, and (2) an entire team, including the ownership of the company, who genuinely care. Truly caring about good work and taking care of customers is extraordinarily rare. This business is a gem.Highly recommended!
Excellent customer service! I wouldnt recommend anyone else.
Quick, competent diagnosis and repairs. Best of all, these folks communicate with the customer.
Great professional service and fair prices.
Based on who controls the schedule, the name should be Dans Cars and Light Trucks.Had an RV slide that needed major work, i.e., would have to be removed. I figured 2 and a half weeks since I had discussed the job with others. I was not far off, it took 40 hours spread over 5 weeks and a day: 25 Jan thru 29 Feb.Took it in on Monday, 25 Jan 2016.Wednesday, 27 Jan, it was determined that the needed equipment was broken. We were offered the opportunity to take our MH and live in it. We were already committed to the motel and assumed they would still work on it while fixing their equipment. Wrong. They are unable to plan their work. Could have done the small job on the other slide, but didnt.Friday of week 2, 5 Feb 2016, their equipment was fixed. Still no work on my unit, we went into it to get something. Could have had the inside undone so the slide could be removed sooner.Week 3, told that they made two trips to lumber yard to get props and a platform for the slide. David called 10 Feb and gave me a price; I agreed to the quote. They had to order parts and install them.Week 4: Visited twice. Office acted tense, as if they were in trouble with me.Friday of Week 5, 25 Feb, at 4:36 pm they called and said second slide was finished, but the caulking had to dry. They close at 5:30 pm, no way I could clear the motel, move stuff back into motor home and check the work. This was the slide they could have worked on the first two weeks. I decided to wait until Monday, the 29th.The slide lurches, twists, and tilts as it goes out. The slide awning is too tight and bangs and rubs as the slide goes out. They weakly said that the awning rod was bent; it is not. When the slide is pulled back in, it is straight as an arrow. I know a place in Kentucky who can check it.Not all was lost, they gave us some rodents (mice) for free! Plus, gave us a .023 discount (two cents on the dollar); I was embarrassed for them.We visited twice a week on different days and different times. NEVER saw them working on the motor home; several times we saw them working on cars and trucks, or in the break room before they shut the door.
