The service department NEVER answers the phone. I can never get ahold of someone. They never return your voicemails. I had my oil changed there and the engine light came back on after I put 1000 miles on it. So not sure whats up with that. Wish I could ask the service department......On a totally separate occasion that I had to have a recall fixed, my father called them and they treated my father completely different than they treated me. This place makes me sick. And I wont be coming back.

Our experience was great! My granddaughter Rachel Powell had a problem with her Dodge truck for a long time and nobody could find the problem. She called her dad in Anson who is an X-GM trained mechanic and he told her it was wheel bearings and it was dangerous to drive. He said take it to a dealership. We did and they diagnosed it exactly what he said. They fixed it in one day. They were very friendly & helpful. Thank you so much Crenwelge..

Quickest and easiest dealings I have ever had at a dealership. I would refer them to anyone. All of the paper work went very smoothly. Werner our finance guy was so personable and knowledgeable. We had an awesome sales lady. She explained how everything worked on the truck which was very nice for us older people. So pleasant and friendly. . Excellent service on my Jeep Wrangler from Crenwelge and service advisor Darrell. Appointment was on time and the shop worked hard to meet my schedule. Daryl is an excellent service advisor, very knowledgeable about their product, but not pushy. His personality is great for his position. The cashier is a welcome change from the lady that had that position. She made me feel like my satisfaction was her main interest. I had a WONDERFUL car buying experience with Crenwelge Motors! I usually dread buying a car but Julianne was an excellent sales agent. She wasnt pushy, but friendly and got straight to the numbers. I was trying to decide which car of two I really wanted and she didnt waste any time getting me trade in value on my car and final numbers on the two I was looking at. I test drove one of the cars to lunch and crunched some numbers while eating. I left with the car I really wanted and everyone was very helpful and friendly. No one was pushy or tried to oversell me anything! It was a very satisfying experience.

Do not recommend. I bought a van last week from here for our animal rescue to use for transport. It’s been nothing but problems. Check engine lights, washer fluid pump, DEF pump, 12v outlet doesn’t work. Dealership doesn’t return calls or emails regarding correcting the problems. None of the above problems are covered by the “extended warranty” they sold. Sure they were super nice when I bought the van but that’s where the hospitality ended. They claim to do a multi point inspection on their vehicles prior to selling but they must’ve skipped this one. Another example of hard working people being screwed by businesses.

I would not recommend ordering parts from here. We ordered parts and waited over a week just to find out that they got us the wrong part and the right part is $600.00 more than we where quoted. I spoke to the parts manager Garry about the situation. He had a very rude condescending tone and was no help at all. I get that people make mistakes but the way Garry talked to me and my employees over the phone is ridiculous. They ask for vin numbers to verify that we get the right part in which we supplied. If you order parts from here you should do the parts guys job and supply a part number. Again we will never do business with this place again do to Garrys lack of respect.

No problem with him.Had a greasy hand print on inside of drivers door -- did not notice it till I got home.Customer waiting area receptionist was terrible; service manager came in and told me that my truck was ready; I went up to the counter and she told me that she was waiting on paperwork, after 40 minutes (and I could see my truck waiting outside), I went up and ask her how much longer?; she had the paperwork all the time I was waiting. 40 wasted minutes -- never again!!

I was met at the opening of the bay area by a young man named Anthony in a very happy and cheerful manner. He explained the procedure of checking in, as well as another young, polite gentleman who obtained the needed information for the needed repair of my mirror. We made an appointment for the actual repair.When I returned for the repair, I was again met by cheerful, polite personnal who showed me to a very comfortable waiting room with a nice cool bottle of water. I had my 2017 Pacifica in for an unusual mechanical problem that was covered under warranty. I was towed in late in the day on a Friday but the Service Advisor, Darrell Robles, greeted me as if I were his first customer of the day. After recording the problem, he arranged for a loaner vehicle and I was on my way in a short time.When I picked my vehicle up, he went over everything that was done and made sure I was satisfied before I left.This was my first experience with them other than oil/filter changes and I am pleased with the way they handled the problem.

I recently had my 2019 GMC Terrain repaired. Mr. Robles was awesome and went above and beyond to make sure it got done. He maintained very good contact with me and made me feel I was priority. I will always bring my car back here to get done, and I live over an hour away. There are several GMC dealers between me and Kerrville. But I prefer a good experience and customer service, so it is worth the drive.

Typically, Crenwelge does a fantastic job of quick, efficient and friendly service. On this particular day, I scheduled my appt. on line for 0915. Then, I changed my mind and rescheduled for 0800. I received a call from a service rep, who offered me 0745 am. I said no, I wanted 0800, he said that spot is taken. I told him it was probably me in that spot. He confirmed, and we were good to go (or so I thought).I arrived at the dealership at 0800, and although they were really bus, I was promptly checked in. At 0900, my truck was still sitting in the doorway, had not been touched. I went to the desk to ask why and a man from the service dept. had walked in, and said he could explain. He said that someone wrote my appt. time for 0745, and everything got messed up. Im assuming that because they thought I was late, I had to wait longer? It would have been so much easier if some one had come and told me that, instead of making me waiting an hour, and then explaining it, AFTER I had to ask them.Because of this error, I was not charged for any service for this day, so, I still have 2 oil changes left, which I appreciated.

Service advisors are very nice and helpful but do not always respond to messages left. The online service appointment system does not work. Took two weeks to get part needed to fix truck; kept truck for over a week waiting for part, then allowed me to have it (as it turned out, I could use the truck for my purposes with no ill effect from the bad part; would have been nice to know that once they found what the problem was and that they needed to order the part). There seemed to be some confusion as to whether the part was needed or how soon by those responsible for getting the part. Truck is fixed now and seems to be just fine.

Had a descent experience, but the SERVICE DRIVER ASSIST fault warning wasnt corrected with the software update that was done. The service manager told me it might not work, and said that there may be a sensor that is going bad. I will watch and see if there is any improvement to this problem.

Made an appointment on line to get the oil changed in my Ram truck. Also got an inspection. The service scheduler called me within a few hours of my on line request and confirmed my requested appointment time and date. So, do I have to be a customer to leave a review? I really tried to be a customer. I went online 5 times and left all my info to schedule lube/oil change and fuel filter changes for my Ram diesel truck. After never receiving the call that the site said I would receive to schedule the service, I decided to check the reviews about their service department specifically. After reading the miserable reviews, and considering the failures to contact me to schedule, I decided I would try a local non-dealer place for the work.I gave them a full week to contact me. Obviously they don’t need my business.

I have had my Ram 1500 in for service on the cruise control three times and have spent close to $500. On my third visit (2 weeks after the 2nd visit and over $200 spent) I was told that the switch was the problem and it could be fixed for $460+. I declined and was still charged $174 which I was told twice that would be charged only as a last resort. I have 3 warrantys and none of them cover the problem with the cruise control. I probable will not be coming back for any repair work.

Beware when getting service at Crenwelge, Kerrville, TXThis was originally a four page letter, but the complaint form here limits the content. I now have a case # filed with Chyrsler Customer Assistance and I am also getting a run around by them, but hopefully will get the warranty reinstated as mentioned below.During an oil change on 3/15/21 for my 2009 Ram 1500 Crenwelge Motors, Kerrville found an transmission leak in the oil pan. I requested they fix it under my 2009 powertrain warranty (no deductible) that was included in all 2009 purchases due to Chyrsler need to sell vehicles due to the economic crisis. I then found out my warranty had been canceled due to not getting a free powertrain inspection in 2019 (insp. due every 5 yrs.). Crenwelge did the first insp. in 2014, but failed to remind me to get another one in 2019 although they gave me Factory Required Maintenance Guides when my vehicle was serviced. I also asked what other services I might need as I also purchased a Lifetime Bumper to Bumper Wrap Around warranty ($100 deductible) when I purchased my vehicle so I know I must maintain my vehicle. No where in the maintenance guides is this free Powertrain inspection stated although Chyrsler canceled my warranty because I did not get it. I have received several other free inspections on tires, brakes, etc. by Crenwelge trying to sell me additional services at a cost. I was able to finally get the Powertrain inspection performed under my Wrap Around warranty at a cost of $100 deductible, but I had previously called the President / CEO of the Crenwelge Kerrville dealership and explained how dissatisfied I was about this situation. So when I got the inspection completed the $100 was waived by the President / CEO. I also had a 90,000 mile service at the same time and was quoted $1100, but I had a Factory Required maintenance Guide that stated the cost was $674.93. The Service Mgr. asked where this came from and I responded from you, Crenwelge, and thus he had to charge me less.(in other words it was his own paperwork, but he asked for a copy of it, which I provided). I also stated I did not need another oil change which Crenwelge did on 3/15, I did not need an air filter change which I performed on 3/15, nor did I need a tire rotation which I had performed free at Discount Tire on 3/15. All of these services had separate charges under the $674.93 estimate. When I received my bill, I noticed an unexpected $85.31 charge for a coil/ign ignit, but my total bill still came to the original $674.93. The coil cause on the Crenwelge bill stated coil #5 damaged upon removal. I went back to the Service Mgr. and he stated the bill still came to the estimate amount even though the mechanic that performed the work said he himself damaged the coil while he was working on my vehicle. In other words, my 90,000-mile service should have been less as 3 things should have been deleted from my bill (oil change / air filter / tire rotation), but 1 thing was added (ignition coil) that the Crenwelge mechanic admitted he damaged. At this point, because of the warranty problems I was totally flabbergasted and so mad I could not argue any further as I was about to blow completely up due to the incompetence of the Crenwelge Service Manager and his explanations or lack of knowledge in word “service”.My case is still open to get the warranty re-instated, but I am so mad at the Service Mgr because at first he had not ever heard of a Lifetime Warranty and denied that it existed even though he could of easily verified what I had explained to him. There is much more to this then stated here, but it is a space issue. Beware when getting service at Crenwelge.

I had a great experience here buying a pre owned vehicle. Walked out with a great car at a great price with great value for my trade in. Went in very close to end of business the first day so I had to come back the next day to finish the process which is completely understandable. In all it took about two hours including me test drive and trip to my mechanic. Crissy was an amazing sales person and Werner was a great financial officer. An overall excellent experience at Crenwelge. I have always driven by their lot with good looking vehicles from the Water St side. Did not realize how affordable their vehicles were. Largely because there were no hidden costs, meaning no prep fees, scotch guard, and all those hidden fees I have found at other dealers. That, in addition to the fact the truck I bought was in superb condition and priced below book value. I love the RAM that I bought, and feel much safer driving in this rural area than the sedan I previously owned. I respectfully disagree with some of the negative reviews posted here, as some of them do not make good business sense, and clearly written in the heat of disappointment. I understand what it is like to be disgruntled at times, however, a poor review is permanent. Let a little time go by and then write a review. Life is full of unexpected turns, and blame does not always lie where we cast the first stone in anger.

Was really disappointed in my visit today. I was in need of an oil change and tire rotation while in town. I saw the special on their website for a really reasonable price. When I arrived at the dealership, I was approached by the advisor in a friendly manner. He asked what I was there for. Told him that I saw the special on the website and I would like to have that done. He said he wasnt aware of that special and asked that I show him. I pulled up their website on my phone because he could not find it. He asked that I email it to him. He also tells me that they will wash my vehicle after they complete the service. Awesome! So, I go and sit in the waiting room to wait for my vehicle. I am called by the cashier to come and pay for my vehicle. When the charges come through, I see they are charging me for the tire rotation. I mention to the cashier that the coupon included a tire rotation. She asks me, what coupon? I explained to her the situation and she calls the advisor, who had attempted to send her the coupon via email. Finally, the advisor has it printed out and brings it in. I walk out to get my vehicle and it is still on the lift (drive on) when they brought it into the shop. I walk back in and wait for another five minutes. Finally, my vehicle is brought in and I go to get my vehicle. I see that it hasnt been washed and am told that it is too big to go through the wash. Ok, but then your advisor should not have told me that it was going to be washed. No big deal. As I drive off, my windshield washer fluid notification tells me it is low. Every other dealership I have taken my vehicle in for service has conducted a multi-point inspection and topped off all my fluids. I guess this dealership is not really that kind of place. I also do not believe that my tires were rotated. Dirty wheels usually reveal handprints and evidence of tire removal, not to mention I have a nail in a specific tire that has been there for over a year. Sorry for the book, but this dealership does not seem to care about taking care of each customer as best as can be. Some places just go above and beyond, but it is not this one. I gave them three stars because I did get an oil change and the cost was better than any other place in town.

Called and spoke with Cole, he said he needed to check the availability of a vehicle and would call me back in a minute. I offered to hold he told me that he didn’t know how to put his phone on hold. He said he needed to call the other place and would call me back. He called me back and said he wasn’t able to get a hold of the other place to find out if the vehicle is available and would call me later. I would hazard a guess and say customer service is not this dealership’s strong point

Oil change and tire rotation. They were on time for my appointment and the work was completed in timely matter. They checked for recalls and I have 4 recalls to fix. I need to set appointment for the recalls.
