On our camping vacation trip, the brakes to the truck started grinding badly. Being in a strange town we were so very fortunate to be referred to Central Automotive. Even though they were booked up until the next week, when the owner heard our dilemma, he worked us in and got new brakes on the front that we desperately needed. We are able to continue on our trip tomorrow as planned. Thank you Central Automotive!!!

Imagine if you will 2 free spirits who were very naughty and didnt change their oil as they should. Well our poor old Buick named Edith just couldnt take it anymore after 5 1/2 times across the country (Florida to Washington State and a couple Maine to Florida trips) she started knocking in the middle of Texas and AAA recommended Central Automotive here in Kerrville. Unfortunately our motor had seized and we couldnt save poor old Edith. Fortunately these guys were so kind and helpful to us! They really went above and beyond for us with phone calls and offered rides and more all the while knowing that they werent making any money off us! The worst auto repair place I have ever been to. Told me lie after lie after lie. Never called me in the 9 days they had my suburban. I had to call and see if it was ready 5 times. They are terrible and I do NOT recommend this rip off shop. There are not enough bad words to describe them.

I own several cars and and RV and they do all my service work, they are very good a fixing it right the first time. I recommend them, not cheap, but priced fairly with other dealers.

Where do I start. Brought our work truck in for routine maintenance. During the service an unrelated issue was found. Work performed by another shop was done incorrectly and caused some damage to my trani. This damage prevented the completion of my originally scheduled maintenance. Long story short...my 1.5 hr appt turned into an all day affair. Central went above and beyond to get Terri and I back on the road and back to work. On top of that, they made this happen at an affordable price!THANKS CENTRAL!

I scheduled an appointment with these guys and waited a week. I took my car in and they said it would take a few hours. I went home having no car for the rest of my free morning. I was dropped off by my wife on her lunch break 4 hours later and they hadnt even LOOKED at it yet.They wasted my free morning and my car still needs to be fixed. I do not know what I am going to do. The worst part is they didnt even care. Just shrugged their shoulders. Why let people set appointments if your not going to honor them? I would not recommend this place.

This place always upsell and request to do unnecessary work so they can warranty for the work. Becareful give them your car. They charge me $85 just for quote for ac compressor $1200 when i already diagnosed the car and knew the ac compressor is bad. They said they would waive the $85 if pay them $1200 for the job. Adam cant even break down the labor cost and parts cost. Get your own parts. Their part is almost double comparing to Napa or Oreilley. I know they have corporate or store account with all Auto Parts and could get them way cheaper than i can but they would sell it back to customers with 50% mark up.
