Last Sunday, our furnace decided to have issues. We called one business, and they were too busy. We called Kenosha Heating and Cooling and we received prompt service. We explained what was going on and there was zero hesitation on coming over. After a cleaning and testing, we had heat. Brian explained that our furnace was well.....30yrs old and may need to be replaced. Ended up that he was correct. The next morning, same issue and we called for a tech to come out. They came as soon as they could and gave a quote to fix it and or to replace it.Short story between, they didn’t charge us for a service run, just the cleaning and also didn’t charge to come over again.After after all we decided on the new furnace with humidifier. The quote was much much lower than we anticipated and were over joyed. The staff in the office is friendly and so are the technicians. They explained everything to my wife in layman’s terms and showed her how to run our Ecobee thermostat more efficiently.Lastly, they were so nice to offer two space heaters until they replaced the furnace. How awesome is that. Thank you to all at Kenosha Heating and Cooling.

We needed a new hot water tank and saw that Kenosha Heating and Cooling had many good reviews. We are so glad we chose them. We called the Monday before Thanksgiving and they were able to install new hot water tank on Tuesday. There were professional, friendly, quick, and very tidy. I did not have to clean up after them at all. The price was very fair. The woman who took my phone call, the man who came out for estimate and the men who did the install were all great. I especially liked how they sent estimate, contract, and appointment confirmation electronically. It made it quick and efficient and I had records of everything. They were quick to come out for an estimate, and quick to come back install my new furnace and AC. Everyone was professional and easy to work with!

Called them for an estimate when our AC wouldnt run this summer. They were our second quote and Im so glad we went with them. In the quote, they found things that we never thought of to get fixed beyond the condenser and coil. It took the 2-man team all day (8 to 5) to: remove our who knows how old SEER 10 system and replace with a standard SEER 13; rerun the refrigerant lines to above the joists; replace the condensation line with a pump to get it off the floor; and replace the air return to an appropriate size, as well as get the filter out from inside the furnace. Aside from a communication error regarding the lines, they were great! Kenosha Heating & Cooling did a top notch job.

Our heat went out on a very cold evening recently, and we called Kenosha Heating & Cooling after-hours. In a very short time a tech called us back, I explained the issue, and we was at the house in 20 minutes! He replaced a part and had our furnace back up and running very quickly. I had a brand new Coleman Furnace installed last week on Nov. 5, 2020, because my old furnace was a 1993 Coleman and it was making a lot of noise and on its way out. So I had James from Kenosha Heating & Cooling come out and give me an estimate on a new furnace about a week before the installation. I was pleased with the price and ordered the new furnace. We have a house built in 1844. We were finally in a position to get rid of the 5 window air conditioners and install central air. After some research we decided that a high velocity system would work best in our house because we do not have duct work. We called several contractors but Kenosha Heating & Cooling was the only one that did not try to talk us into a conventional system. Josh met with me and listened to our needs and then took a tour of our house. He recognized that we are renovating our house in keeping with its age and history. With this in mind he worked on coming up with a plan. After another visit to verify some things, we had a plan that did not detract from the historical nature of the house. Adrian and Kyle were our installers. They were very courteous and complete professionals with a great eye for detail. Each day they laid down drop clothes and vacuumed their mess when done. They even integrated our boiler into the new thermostat. The system works great and we could not be more pleased! After replacing the main board to our furnace, Colin ran additional diagnostics to see what other issues might be at hand. He quickly diagnosed the issue indicating that the module to the blower was malfunctioning due to the power surge that we experienced. We live in Milwaukee but have a second home in Kenosha where we stay several days each month. We rely on Kenosha Heating & Cooling to make sure our furnace keeps running even when we arent there. I was impressed with the honesty of the technician on their latest visit when he admitted they had incorrectly diagnosed that we needed a replacement part during the annual furnace check the week before. They took back the part and did not charge anything for the service call! A less reputable company might have just gone ahead and charged us for it. We will definitely be contacting them for our annual air conditioning checkup in spring.

They installed in less time that I had hoped, did a few extra things that were missed by former contractors and left the place as clean (maybe a little cleaner) than it was when they arrived. I have to say, we have been really pleased with Kenosha Heating & Cooling and specifically the services of Josh who is managing our project. We called them after having met with several other firms in Northern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin, and Josh was by far the most interested in the project and most willing to take time to talk, put together quotes, and just do the leg work. His work on the upfront went a long way into us choosing to work with them. Were putting in a fairly extensive high velocity A/C system and he was very comfortable discussing a variety of systems for homes without the normal ductwork, and really the best listener of all the companies we met with. We were his last call of the day and he could’ve spent 10 minutes here but he took his time and kept talking about “safety,” and “never knowing when the smallest detail could turn out to be the biggest problem,” all for what turned out to be nothing more than an $90 bill. DO NOT CONTACT THIS COMPANY!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND CONTACT SOMEONE ELSE!!A service technician came installed a relay and the wrong fan switch and I paid for the service to find out an hour later the fan didn’t turn off. Had to call again and another technician came out and diagnosed that the wrong fan switch was installed and according to the notes on the job, THE COMPANY ORDERED THE WRONG FAN SWITCH.Alex the service manager blamed the supplier for sending them the wrong switch and that they usually don’t have this issue with their supplier but because my furnace was an upgraded model, they were sending a different fan switch. I had to wait two weeks for a response that I had to call and follow up on. But according to the different service technicians that came out; 1. This was a supplier they never heard off. 2. The part was ordered wrong to begin with because I took pictures of the fan switch serial numbers before they came out and replaced it and found out they had the wrong one to begin with!It took me an hour to go to a local appliance store and find the correct fan switch and replace it myself and when I called for a refund, Alex asked why? ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER DID YOUR JOB IN AN HOUR!!!THEY REFUSED TO PAY ME BACK FOR THE SERVICE BECAUSE THEY REPLACED THE RELAY. THEY DID NOT FULLY FIX THE ISSUE!!! THE RELAY WASNT BROKEN BECAUSE I TESTED THE NEW FAN SWITCH WITH THE OLD RELAY AND IT WORKS FINE!!According to them, they could just refund me for the parts when I offered to return them the relay and the fan switch they incorrectly ordered. It’s an outrage that I paid for a service where they did not completely fix the issue!DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, EITHER CALL SOMEONE ELSE, or troubleshoot the issue with YouTube and google.

The Kenosha Heating and Cooling Team is Outstanding!I use there services annually for my home furnace check and cleaning. So it was a no brainer for me regarding who to call when our A/C started acting up one weekend in late June 2018. That weekend was scheduled to reach record highs in the upper 90s with the heat index reaching near 105!!Joe (Great Guy!!) came out on an emergency evening call to diagnose the issue.
