Waited several weeks for an appointment to repair a specific problem with our car. We described the problem thoroughly twice before the day of the appointment At the end of that day, they called to ask what the car was in for. They said they needed to have the car for another day to diagnose. Four days later, and we had heard nothing from them. I picked up the car because nothing was done or communicated. A big hassle to have no car for four days and complete waste of time. They offered no explanation, only the keys to my car. Rated one star because there is no option for zero stars.

Bought 1st brand new car ever at age 72. They had all paperwork ready, car gassed up, etc. Pleasant, no pressure sales staff and was on my way in about an hour! Highly recommend. They even hooked my cell phone up to car system...I am very satisfied. Thank you, Michael, for great service.

Not even worthy of one star! After 6 months of promises to get me the $1000 rebate I am due, they did nothing! GM (Andy Flynn), Sales Mgrs (Pedro Acosta and Brian Roberts) and office manager (Katie) never responded to me once. They screwed up when they submitted my car deal (per email from salesperson) and didnt fix it. I did everything per their instructions and got screwed out of $1000 in accessories! Years ago I worked for a dealer for ten years- this stuff is not rocket science but they were clueless! This behavior is what gives car dealers a bad name! I would never buy help any of their poorly run businesses again. My sales person (Austin Snyder) tried to help but wasnt able to get anything done. Lots of promises- zero kept. BUYER BEWARE!

REAL honesty and GOOD customer service is a rarity these days. I am so thankful that I found both qualities at Speck with Andy Widger. Not only did Andy go above and beyond to make sure I got into a truck that would fit my needs several months ago, but recently when I went to purchase a car outside of Specks brand I had that gut feeling I wasnt being treated with honesty so I reached out to Andy because I just knew he was someone I could turn to. Despite him having zero skin in the game with this new purchase he was very patient in walking me through what was honest and what was not.Thank you Andy for your integrity.

Definitely frustrated. Contacted them about a used truck with really low miles. I have a email stating the vehicle was there and to come look at it. I called to confirm and I was told that the truck was going to auction. I let them know I would like to purchase it and was told that he would speak to the manager about price. One hour later I was called back and told the truck was sold. I truly feel like I am being lied to on what really is going on. Nobody I spoke with gave me the same information. Be aware!!!!!

I drove all the way from Tacoma, almost 4 hours each way. Ken helped me every step of the way via phone so I could make sure everything was squared away and wouldnt be any paperwork hiccups since I was coming from so far away. Overall I am very happy with the service I got and the genuine friendliness I got from this place. When I need more vehicles in the future I will have no issue checking out their inventory before I look anywhere else, and Ill always recommend them! Im happy with my choice, it is an used car, so I got the extended warranty and Im glad I did. It is just smart because you cant expect an used car to be 100% perfect unless youre unicorn hunting.

Andy Flynn pulled a rabbit out of his hat!! We have always owned GM. Our 2011 duramax 2500HD with 70k miles on it lost the engine. Andy and Speck Motors is the only reason we continue to do business with GM. I work in the retail business and understand how important the dealer organizations are to local customers! I hope GM will improve recognizing that so Speck Motors can continue there commitment to us customers.

SPECK GMC and Pablo and his team really came through for me in a bind. I knew I had to take it to the dealership because of a warranty issue. I was hesitant because of a previous part issue, some lack of communication on a previous visit but I had to get it in to the dealership. Pablo worked hard to get the issue figured out, fixed, and his team is excellent. They did all of this in an emergency and with their shop being completely slammed busy. I take back obviously my negative review on Speck GMC service. I highly recommend using Pablo and his team to get it done.

Sales department is 5 stars! Working with Ken to purchase my truck was a fantastic experience.The one star is for the service and parts department.Parts: I’ve spoken with 2 different parts counter clerks on 3 occasions. On all 3, I’ve left with the impression that I was just an annoyance. I came in with the exact part numbers I wanted to order, and told them I had the vehicle specific part numbers pulled up on the MyGMC app. I was told they had to look it up in their system, meaning I had to wait for them to input all my information. While he was struggling to look up the part, I asked if it would help to have the part numbers. “You have the part numbers!? he said. Obviously too busy to listen to me the first time when I told him that, and tried to show him the app on my phone. Only one person in the entire parts/service department seems to understand how the GM points system works, so I had to wait while they searched around for that person. It seems to me that everyone in the parts and service department should be trained on how this system works, and how to redeem points.Service: I received a complimentary oil change when I purchased my truck. I went online and scheduled the service, and indicated that I would be waiting for my vehicle rather than leaving it with them. I scheduled an hour and a half out of my day, based on what I know about dealership oil changes. Upon arrival and check in, I was informed that the service department was running 1.5-2hrs behind. I asked if I could keep my place in line, but leave to meet my next appointment since I knew this was going to throw off my schedule for the day. They said yes, so I returned an hour and 20min later and gave them my keys, then proceeded to wait another 20min before they took my truck around back. After watching my truck sit there untouched for 40min, I told them to give me my keys back and left. I was told that an employee had called out due to a death in the family, which caused a backlog. That’s perfectly understandable, but the service manager knew that morning when the employee called out that they would be short staffed, and that the schedule would be affected. Rather than notifying customers beforehand with a simple phone call, they allow them to show up and be completely blindsided. Completely unprofessional, and a total lack of respect for their customer’s time. 2-1/2 hours of my day were wasted, and I still have to change my own oil.

I dont trust car salesmen. When I purchased my vehicle the one I wanted was advertised at a set price, then Im told it was a pricing error and was much more expensive. Several vehicles of lesser quality were attempted to be passed off to me. Ultimately I was given a deal on another vehicle and while Im grateful I still cant help but wonder if it was all manipulation and if I would have been wiser to walk away to find precisely what I wanted. So while Im content with my vehicle there remains the question of if I got ripped off and simply settled for less. But Ill never know and it doesnt really matter because the sale was made. Staff at the time apologized greatly and said they would correct the error. So this could also just be the result of the history and stigma against salespeople. Other than that things are well, employees are nice and the maintenance reminders are good.

GO HERE! YOU WONT REGRET IT. (Details inside)Before we were helped we had a handful of time to look around and explore cars on our own, the person who helped us, Larry was wonderful. He did not pressure us into any specific car, he let us lead the conversation and came along for the ride. It felt amazing to not step onto a car lot and be pressured into a $20,000+ car like what happened with us at many other dealers. I found an amazing car (2010 Malibu) at $8,000 and they were great to not pressure us into another car. The hospitality was amazing and when I purchased the car I also got a free oil change coupon that I could redeem at their place. The company is a family company and I felt right at home with them, they made sure we were comfortable offered us coffee/water and even personally cleaned the car before we took it home. I plan on coming here again when I get another car..I even got a call back this morning to come sign papers again because they got me a lower interest rate then what was originally agreed! Unlike other dealerships who said I could not get a loan at all on a car lower then $10,000..Speck GMC was honest with me..got the loan approved and I even got a better interest rate and better car with them.So thank you!

He never made me feel pressured or pushed to purchase something and spent time showing me each potential option before landing on a BEAUTIFUL 2015 Audi Q7. Austin and Pedro (the sales manager) went at my pace and got me the perfect car that fit my budget. I would recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to come here and ask for Austin! Came into Speck with a small list of what I wanted, but a long list of what I needed to make it happen. Originally chose Speck because of Brian Roberts, whom my family has worked with before. Brian set me up with Austin Synder who was top of the line. In the first hour of being there we locked in on the Grand Cherokee we wanted. There was delays in the delivery of the vehicle due to heavy smoke that shut down I-90. Austin was with us the whole way, and kept me informed as soon as he was updated. 100% confident my next vehicle purchase will be with Austin. Great work from a great team.

I was charged $160 for them diagnosing a door window problem when I took off all trim for easy access. The car was there all day and when I called towards closing I was informed I needed a special order part...this would take days to arrive, cost over $400, Id still have to pay for labor, and - by the way - we forgot to call because we were very busy.I got my car repaired the next day for just over $300 with parts, labor, and no special order!Steer clear of Speck...I bought a Suburban from them and Ill never purchase another vehicle from them again, let alone take another car in for service!

Needed a leak repair done in a short time frame, which was made clear when I was making a reservation. The man I talked to said getting anything overnighted would not be a problem, so I made the reservation over other garages. However, when I took my truck in, I was then told that the tool they needed would take over a week to get. Either a problem with honesty or preparedness.

First of all it wasnt the best start.We had gone in for engine tune up, power steering work an a remote start problem.After all said an done we had to come back 4 times for the remote start seems like we couldnt locate the issue but had thought it was resolved. After we had brought it in the last time Dani the service representative had gone through my old receipts that I had got work done at a different mechanic an noticed their install part was still under warranty sent it off got it replaced. Re did the Evap testing an everything checked out remote start fixed. Was a headache in the beginning but totally felt taken care of. I wouldnt have thought to look at the old warranty. Or even know. Excellent service on her part. Totally happy now.

Total rip off. The did a radiator swap on a car of mine under a Warranty. It took them a week to change the radiator. Literally 7 days later they called and said I could pick up my car at 8 oclock at night. I thought that was strange as the shop is not open that late at night. So I pulled my keys out of the drop box lol. First thing I did was lift the hood and pop off the plastic shroud over the radiator. The finns on a so called brand new radiator were smashed. Pretty sure a five year old could do better work. Really not sure how this place stays in business. Im all about buying local but if this was the last dealership in the tricities Id go somewhere else.

Purchased our 2010 Acadia brand new back when it was still Desert Buick. Purchasing process with Rudy and Andy was great. Weve always taken it there for service and repairs. Our main problem started when we had to have the timing chains replaced in 2017 costing over $2000, part of that cost was having the alignment done (I had to pay to have that done somewhere else afterward at an additional cost). Fuel economy was never the same after the chains were replaced (almost 2 mpga reduction). Could never get them to even diagnose it because there wasnt a code for it and they said the didnt know what the cause would be. Fast forward a year and a half the check engine light finally comes one for engine timing. Still cant get them to stand behind their work. Weve always requested syn-blend or synthetic oil at oil changes, sometimes we get it sometimes it gets conventional. Being a service manager myself I know stuff happens and mistakes will be made, but myself and the company I work for stand behind our work no matter the cost. As it is Ive never taken my pickup back to them because they couldnt even grease the steering components when I took it in for a service. After the experience with our two vehicles I cant and wont recommend their service department for even basic work. They also broke the fuel panel cover while replacing a heater control and expected me to pay for a new cover, even though it was still under warranty. Totally unprofessional.

Sal in the service department (and everyone in the building really) was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. Was having a recall performed on my GMC, and was told earlier in the week to simply show up without an appointment on Saturday. I was a little concerned when I saw several vehicles being worked on and I was asked if I had an appointment. However, work was done in half the time they quoted me, took less than an hour. Service department open on a Saturday, awesome, and they provided a free car wash coupon from a local company. Will be going back for additional services. Thank you.

Probably one of the best car purchasing experiences I have had yet! Our salesman was Michael and he was both informative and kind. When I told him I had an appointment with another dealership he was very understanding and wasnt pushy about me leaving to look elsewhere. I not only came back for the car I test drove (2010 Buick Enclave) but I also came back because he was respectful of my other appointment.There were some paperwork logistics so I wasnt able to take the car home right away but they did get me a great loaner and I was able to get my car less than 48 hours later. A big thank you also to Nelly and Robert in financing who got me a better interest rate and lower payment than originally quoted. A big shout out to Chris (Manager) for staying late with Michael to get the deal done. Overall a terrific experience and I would buy from them again!

There seems to be an issue with online reservations though because when I arrived they thought I was scheduled for the day before until I showed them the e-mail from the online reservation. They still worked me in and did a great job without making me wait any undue time.

STOP, DONT DO IT!!! We are extremely disappointed in Speck. We purchased a new suv from them nine years ago and although we are still waiting on the divider in the back, we had an overall good experience at their Hyundai dealership. With all the covid stuff, we decided to stay local to help out local dealers with the hard times they might be having. Even though we found a truck cheaper in Seattle with more features. When I reached out via email I got a half response with no follow up email back, so I called. The salesman said he was busy but he would follow up with me that evening when he had time. No call came in. The next day I called and asked if I could come in and test drive a truck to so see how it drove. I get there and they have no trucks to test drive like the one we wanted. Mind you the guy I had talked to before I called was busy and I waited ten minutes out front while they played Rock Paper Scissors to see who would go out. We ended up buying a truck site un seen, wait a week for it to get there, and boy where we disappointed. The truck itself is amazing, beautiful. The damage it came in with is not so beautiful. Super long story short, scratches, rock chips, holes in the bumper and dirty like a homeless person lived in it. Not to mention they only gave us a quarter tank of gas. The sales manager has been involved with us but that also is like pulling teeth from a toddler. I guess I just expected great service/ treatment for shopping local and buying new. But those days might be gone. Now we know to go to Seattle and save money and not to worry about the little guys. Lesson learned for sure. I will give them a 2 star because they at least return my texts and put some gas in the truck after I complained. Long story over :)10-8- Just received a tax bill for $400 that finance didnt know about to put into the loan. They didnt even offer to pay it due to their error, just bend over and take it like the parts that are on order. Speck is the WORST dealer we have ever dealt with. I tell people our story all the time and recommend Swains so they do not have to deal with the trauma we have. Speck probably will not give us our parts now but maybe its worth saving someone the horrible experience weve had. Went in for a service and the tech forgot to top off my DEF and give back my tire lug key. Your people are the best. Your facility leaves a lot to be desired. I would never send my wife to get service done because you shouldnt have to go into the garage with all the noise and the smell to talk to a service advisor. I have had a difficult time getting the Infotainment System repaired/reprogrammed for my 2016 GMC Yukon. I must say, Service Manager Pablo assisted me until the matter was resolved. He even drove 40 miles to my home to assist. Service Manager Pablo went above and beyond to assist me with the frustrating issue. He was professional and informative! Thank you!

Visited the service department for a diagnostic check on a headlight adjustment issue I was having. What finally prompted me to visit a mechanic is my right headlight went out as well.They told me there was no fixing the headlight as the motor in my articulating headlights were bad. Total was ~$2,000 to repair with their labor cost.Really happy I decided to have the work done elsewhere. As my car doesn’t even have articulating headlights! Turns out it was a simple adjustment on the headlight and a burnt out bulb!Paying $100 for a bad diagnosis is one thing but makes me wonder how many people they have conned into paying $2,000 for repair on a part that their car doesn’t even have.

Brought me a car down from another dealer without requiring a deposit. Salespeople didnt nag or jump me the second i walked on the lot like most other dealers. Was overall a wonderful buying experience and will definitely buy another car from andy in the future

Be careful of these guys. Drove up from Bend, OR to buy a GMC Canyon that was exactly what I was looking for. They said they had no problem with licensing in Oregon since they had done it many times. They collected the tax and license fees, but when I went to the Oregon DMV a couple of weeks later, they had not given the money to the DMV. I had to pay them myself again and wait for Speck to send me a refund check.Also, they did not have both sets of keys. They FedExd the key and fob to me and said take it to the local dealer and they would give the local service dept a credit card number for the cost of programming. When the local guys were complete we called and the sales manager refused to give the credit card, so I had to pay for the programming myself. They keep telling me they will send me the $75, but after a couple of months, I have given up. Bought the car Apr 12, and still have not been reimbursed on July 17.UPDATE: Called the customer service rep at Speck and they apologized profusely, said they had replaced the sales staff and would get the check out immediately. Next day the check was in my mailbox. Apparently, they are really trying to take care of their customers with the new staff. Changed my 1 star to 4 star rating based on the immediate response to my concerns. Cant give 5 stars based on the history, but Im sure there will be 5 star ratings in their future.
