Charter Spectrum is by far the worst company Ive ever dealt with. Their customer service is beyond horrible. I literally cannot put in words how much I dislike charter spectrum. Avoid this awful company and their rude customer service employees!!

I was with Charter/Spectrum for over 5 years before I finally got rid of them. The service isnt bad, if you dont mind losing internet for hours every other month or so, or games randomly lagging because you arent getting close to the internet speed as you pay for. Other than that, the internet was fine. No, its the company service I take severe issue with. Constant telemarketer calls even after we had repeatedly asked to be removed from their call list. There were times we got so many calls in one day it was borderline harassment. We warned them if they called us one more time for anything other than billing issues we would switch to their local competitor because it was that bad, and they called again for advertising. So we dropped them. We told them to cancel their service and come get their equipment. Now, they are refusing to pick up their equipment and are threatening to charge us $120 for it. Bottom line, I dont recommend Spectrum. Unless they have a policy change and decide to move away from being a telemarketing business and run themselves as an internet company that cares about their products and customers, it isnt worth the hassle.

Want to have your hair gray faster than ever? Then this is the place for you. Turned in a modem when we move from one place to another, but lo and behold they lost it and blamed me for it. Rather than calling or mailing me and asking about it, they turned me into collections...for a $50 dollar modem. When we turned in our modem and closed our account finally, the lady just took the modem and threw it into a box without care. No wonder they lost the modem I originally turned in! Service outages are frequent. Prices constantly go up.So again if you want to throw money down the drain and get the same internet a rock can provide, I highly recommend their service.

Some of the people that you talk to are helpful. The service guy that came to our house one time was nice.I would probably give them 4 stars except for the fact that they mostly just call you about promotions and services and ask if you are interested. Im not interested. I pay for internet, thats all I want right now. If I wanted more than that I would call and tell them.

I bought a good router and the unlimited internet package got great service from these guys and my download speed was like 400 or something!

My mother-in-laws cable-only account went from $30 per month to $100. No explanation was given other than it was the Spectrum merger or buy out of Charter cable, which happened almost 2 yrs. earlier. She loves her TV shows but bailed anyway as shes on a fixed income and they made her mad. Shes been a long time customer but her length of time carried no weight with them at all.

Got there at the perfect time, in and out in 10 minutes, currently only a few people allowed in due to current regulations, so your wait may vary.

I turned in my equipment on the first day of the month and find out I have to pay for tv services for the whole darned month. I have a different (cheaper!!!) Tv service, but keeping internet. Spectrum does not prorate charges. They stopped doing that 3 years ago. If I had returned this equipment 7/8 days ago then I would not have to pay for a month of tv. Spectrum must be hurting to keep peoples money. DO NOT USE SPECTRUM/CHARTER for tv services.

They closed the old location and nothing on the door to tell a paying customer they have a new location. How difficult is it to put a simple note on the door. Come on, really! On arrival at opening time at the new location there are 12 people in line and only 3 clerks to handle customers. Really great customer service - not!

Called their nationwide customer service line. I got told the previous resident did not disconnect their services, so I cant set up service there. This might sound like free internet, but I cant assign my modem to this account. I get to NOT work from home and have no internet until it one day just disconnects. Amazing. Simply amazing. In the history of Charter have they never serviced someone living in an apartment? Please for the love of God, let a competitor come into my neighborhood.

Virtually every internet service in the United States is a joke, but its hard to even call Charter/Spectrum good relative to that. There are constant outages and speeds will literally never be within 50% of advertised maximum. If there was any sort of competition in the areas they operate in, the entire company would be bankrupt.

Pretty sick of having to stand in line outside just to make a payment because you try to charge extra if I pay online with a card. So sick of you not caring about your customers. And then they dont even deal with you. Just spent 20 minutes standing in line outside to be sent to a kiosk that doesnt even give change.

Customer service is poor!!! I only have internet they keep billing me for T.V. service. They keep billing me for T.V. and wont take it off my bill.!

Slowest internet service. Other people get HD and lots of cable channels for $44.99. We pay for internet only $66.99 a month. Doesnt work very well at all.

Transferred services to new home, they put in a new router without notifying me $5/ month, added voice $20, and added “ultra” internet for $20.... without asking me about it! I was on the phone with 3 different people and they all gave me run around to fix it! Horrible customer Service, slow internet, and always trying to up sell their customers without providing their base services!!!

Tried calling for one of my elderly residents and it said no one is available to take your call and hung up on me. That is horrible customer service. Yet if you call for new service I was number 8 in line. I wouldnt recommend spectrum to anyone.

The service is excellent, the reason for my two stars is because I have been with them for more than 5 years and every time they want they increase what they want and they dont notify me, they just send the charges. Start with 35 now 70.But the truth is that Im still here, because other services are pessimistic
