First of all, customer service in the Tri-Cities from most small businesses can be...not great, but Columbia Basin has been amazing both times Ive had them do work. Network drops on 2 different houses and 2nd house was the most complex. The technicians were #1 Friendly #2 Transparent #3 A lot of fun to have over. They did a great job and worked their butts off. Total price was very reasonable and probably a value compared to most installers. Best of all, I didnt have to do the network runs myself. Thank you!

Asked for termination to patch panel and got some resistance for my request and had to explain why I wanted a patch panel. Also had to ask to tone and label data ports. This was all explained in my call when scheduled. Basic termination should also include labeling and toning lines. Suggest adding this as a standard for patch panel requests.

Installed Satellite system, Very clean & neat job. We intend to use Columbia Basin Satellite again for any future projects.

Great LOCAL option for: Electrical, TV service And Internet. I really appreciate the help with some Electrical issues we were having. They came in and the price was what they said with no surprises.The staff is great to work with and everything was explained well with no hiccups. Our tech was very polite and Most important he was on time! Dont waste your time calling someone else. These guys do things right and you can tell they care about their customers.

The crew arrived on time, treated us great, did high quality work, were creative in making our situation work. The finished product came out great and exactly how we needed it. They did such a good job we added installation of a bathroom fan. We are also having them come back to install a EV charging outlet for our car.I cant say enough about how great they performed the work. They treated us great, did high quality work and priced it at a reasonable rate. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing electrical work.If you need electrical work done, especially something custom, give them a call!!

Very good service except for the equipment they first brought was defected and i had already cancelled my current service. Thankfully they were able to come back with good equipment 3 days later. Technician was very personable, helpful, respectful, knowledgable and a nice guy. My biggest issue was that he was in such a hurry, I didnt learn much as he went through the training process. I learned VERY little. I do not know how to use it, even to get to the regular TV. Hoping a family member comes into town to explain it all to me. Thankfully I can use the voice command to get to basic stuff. I am not tech savvy.

Technician did a very professional job switching me over to Dish. Have used these guys for previous switches of TV service and always been satisfied. Far better than going with a random installer via a junk mail offer.

I’m doing a major kitchen renovation/expansion and needed an entire rewire job done on the whole kitchen. During this remodel I have dealt with plumbers who flaked on me and hvac companies that have flaked on me. It seems to be a real nightmare finding honest companies looking to do quality work. With that said, I could not be more impressed than I am with Columbia basin Satellite and Electric. Special thanks to Spencer and the crew for doing such an outstanding job. Thoroughly communicated scope of work, including thinking of many aspects I had not considered and implementing them into the job. They were very prompt and provided top tier work. I always came back to a clean work area when they were done for the day. It can be painstakingly difficult to find and hire good contractors, but I can assure you, you will not find better service than the one provided by these guys. Will recommend to everyone I know for electrical work.

Columbia Basin Satellite & Electric is a great local owned and run company. They have great customer service ( especially Mckenzie ) and they are very patient with every customer they see. And they do a great job! I would highly recommend this company for anyone looking to do electrical contracting to basic dish set ups!

They had to come out twice to complete the job, however the guys onsite and the schedulers where all quite good. The exterior cleanup could have been a bit better, but interior was great. Fair price overall.

Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience. We purchased an attic/outdoor mount tv antenna to receive over the air channels and just needed it installed and wired to one tv. This was a simple job that should have taken an hour to complete. We hired professionals because we didnt have the time and wanted someone with expertise to tell us what we needed to do to get this working. The technicians were friendly but I did not get the impression they had much technical experience in this area. They mounted the antenna in our attic fairly quickly but put it in a location that was easy for them to wire but impossible for us to easily access later. We had even discussed the placement beforehand (for repositioning) so I have no idea why this was done. We scanned for channels on our tv and still had poor reception despite theoretically being well within range with our style of antenna and location. The techs spent over two hours kind of willy nilly pointing the antenna in all directions (literally, 360, even with no chance of hitting signal there) looking for better signal with no luck. It felt like they were just running the clock. They even sent my husband over to home depot to get a signal amplifier which had no effect. They didnt seem to have much understanding of how to troubleshoot this issue and left without discussing any other resolutions like relocating the antenna outside, or trying different equipment. They left us in the same position as when they arrived except Im now out $450 with no tv, and a useless antenna in my attic that I would like to install outside but cant even access. I would call them back but really am just tired of this situation and cant imagine paying them any more than I already have for this.

Great customer service. Installation guy was very knowledgeable and did a nice quick, professional installation. I thought he might have gone thru things a little fast when explaining the remote and how to maneuver around the menus. As soon as he left, I realized I still couldnt remember the basic instructions he gave me. Just as much my fault, however. Im very happy so far with my service!!

43mph winds blew our Dish antenna around so it was getting only one partial signal. CBS&E technician took care of it in good order and secured it well enough that we did not have any problem during next heavy wind storm!

Stars would have been higher. However, there seemed to be a lack of communication. The person installing the dish had know idea that he was supposed to install a dish and the package that I spoke the individual in the shop about that he assured me would be included where not and I had to spend the next two and a half hours talking with customer service and getting things set up.

Every time I have a problem they get me set up and taken care of immediately. I just had to upgrade to a different system and Abe came by my place and really helped get my hopper set up and fixed. I am always satisfied with their services.

This Company likes to take advantage of individuals. They get paid to do installs from the big guys then gives kickbacks to apartment complexes with the money you give them to do installs that they say you have to pay. I guess they dont know what Over-the-Air Reception Devices Rule is. Shame on You! Plus Rudeness seems to be the new kind of Customer Service!.

This company has installed satellite, mounted multiple t.v.s, hid wires in the wall, mounted speakers in the wall, put in a 30amp plug outside for our travel trailer and fixed a couple bad electrical outlets. Every time the tech was professional and the work was done perfectly. I would recommend them to everyone I know!
