First time experience here after less than impressed results from another local busy salon. They educated me on new techniques but reiterated that they were not pressuring. I am looking forward to that process in the future! They were so nice. Loved that I made same day appointment but would wait in the future if needed. Very nice staff and the owner went above and beyond. Even the people there getting services were so nice. Highly recommend this salon. Great first impressions!

I was a first time customer at Helen’s Nails last week, and came in for an acrylic set but Helen convinced me to try dip powder, which I hadn’t before. I got them done and was really impressed with how they looked (despite being $60 😳), but since 5 days ago I’ve had two nails break when they shouldn’t have. Yesterday one broke while I was just simply opening a drawer, and I went in and they did fix it for me (at a charge) so I thought maybe it was my fault or just a fluke. But then again today one broke while I was literally just opening the fridge. For the amount of money I paid to have them done, they shouldn’t be this breakable. Nice people, but I won’t be returning here.

The ladies were all wonderful. The pedicure I got was amazing.. we did the higher level pedicures and the scented products, hot towel and hot stone massage were wonderful..

I’ve gone here since I was little and they’ve never disappointed! 100% recommend. A huge step up from other local business.

I came in to get a simple gel manicure. It was quite expensive ($35 without a tip) and less than 3 days later the gel polish was starting to lift on all of my nails. It was sticky and peeling completely. I came in to ask them to redo them (because they are supposed to last 2 weeks, and the woman who did my nails obviously didn’t allow them to cure for long enough) and they refused. The woman was quite rude as well, and was trying to say that I peeled them all off myself when they started lifting on their own.Don’t recommend going here.

Took my daughter and myself to Helen’s today for a mani/pedi as a treat. Helen was amazing with my daughter who is 12 and I had the pleasure of being Rachel’s client. I had made the appointment last week and we had no wait time. Helen up-sold us - but in a non-pressuring way, and I’m glad we accepted! I would not hesitate to go back as the atmosphere was really laid back and conversation felt comfortable. Everything was clean, they had great signage and documentation for Covid certifications, and made sure we got our very own buffers and filers. I feel like I finally found a place that I would return to for either a special occasion or when I found the time. Thank you Helen and Rachel!Rachel listened to my wants and needs based upon what she had to work with and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results!!! My left middle finger was butchered prior to my visit and she still managed to make my nails beautiful!

Clean and does a nice job. However, my nail broke the day after I was there and I called to have it fixed - she was a pain about getting me in and was going to charge me. I didn’t hit it off anything (as she insisted I did). I’d understand if it was a week later, but literally the morning after. Won’t go here again.

First time $150 for two sets of plain SNS. Second time $80 for French tip acrylic. Helen tells me too thick is not good and she would do it thinner. Well I hope the con artist dont expect me to come in and have them fixed for another $80 because it has not even been a week and one nail is broken. Someone shut down her little shop of horrors please.

I like supporting local businesses, but today’s job was just messy for dip powder. I’m use to service when they dry with UV light and clean under the nail and at least do a little better cuticle care.I will still support, but this is just.... messy.

Love Helen’s! I won’t go anywhere else! I get a dip once a month. My work is very hard on my hands and I have never had an issue and they are rugged. I call ahead to schedule an appointment and always get right in. Sometimes sooner than scheduled if I’m early!

Helens is exceptional! I went 2 days before my wedding and had such an awesome experience! Helen is professional and detail-oriented! My nails, more than a week later, still look so amazing! my mother-in-law and sister-in-laws nails looked fantastic as well! Thank you Helen for a great experience!

Love Helens Nails, they are all very friendly, and enjoy pampering myself in a relaxed atmosphere! I left my very expensive wedding band set there, took off while she did lotion, and checked out without even thinking about it. One of the girls caught me before I left parking lot, I cant thank her enough for her honesty and for making my night.

Long story short, use to love going here. Past three visits nails havent lasted a week two shellac and one powder dip that popped of like lee press on nails. Quality just isnt good anymore.

I loved this place because me and my friend went to this place and they treated us with respect and kindness and we loved it because they brought us back right away and did our nails I helped pick out my friends nail color for her and she loved how they did her nails they did it to her liking including the length of them I was so glad that she had a blast getting her nails done because the last 3 nail salons smwe had gone to in Keene she went home upset to the point she wanted to cry or scream she was so upset but she was so happy and I also got my nails done and I had designs put on mine and I was so very happy with mine and I loved my designs on mine I was very amazed at my nails they got a good tio.from both my friend and I that day so thats why this place gets a 5 star review from me

I got my nails done there today and 2 times before this one, I am not pleased with the work they do. They left my hands with glue on them, the powder, I got cut from the nail clippers and much more. I called for them to fix it and they told me to wash my hands. That is not something I should have to do after I am home.I do not recommend helens

I love Helens nail salon. They all are so kind and friendly. I am never dissatisfied, and always look forward to my next appointment. I have been a steady customer for over 4 years and highly recommend.

I went to get my nails done they looked good until they started to break into pieces. i lost all of my nails from them breaking. i went back to see if they could fix it and the lady said i had been biting them. and that it would cost extra to get them fixed. I will never go back there.

I absolutely love the girls at this place, they take care of you and make sure you are happy with your nails, color and style. Hanna is AMAZING! Love them! Ive been going there since they opened and will not go any place else.

Has a sign stating walk ins welcomed. Asked if I had an appointment several times before agreeing to fill my nails. No one waiting and 2 others in the store. Over charged as most of the nail salons up here. 40 to trim nails, fill with acrylic and nail polish

I have never had a worse manicure in my life. Never come here as I do not live in the area but I do not recommend. A dip MANICURE here doesn’t include the manicure part, lotion, cuticle oil or really anything except dipping your nails into powder. Will be going to my regular salon Monday to get a new manicure to fix. $40 for awful nails — don’t do it.

When all was said and done my nails looked great. Having to wait 15 mins after my nails were started because they forgot about another appointment wasnt the best. But an honest mistake I suppose.

I went into Helens on Friday with a bridal party. We had scheduled an appointment and unfortunately were running late, we called to them know and they were extremely rude. We got there as fast as we could and as soon we arrived we were being yelled at to pick our colors as fast as we could because we were late. While the bride was getting her nails done she was treated so rudely, she asked to change her color and had a pile of plastic nail samples thrown down on her. I understand we were late but we were paying good money for these services and no other costumers came into the salon until towards the end of our time there so it is not like it was super busy and they needed to hurry and get us done. I have been getting my nails done for years and have never been treated so poorly I am happy I never have to go back there again.

This place should be shut down. The reviews from people stating their obvious racism and unprofessional attitude back up my own experience.Horrible experience. Rude greeting when I walked in, which is whatever: I can handle that if the quality is worth it. I paid sixty dollars for the most horrendous full set. I’ve gotten my nails done for 12 years and never had one break, two of these were broken the first day, one from tying my shoe. They were crooked, not filed right and altogether disappointing, especially for the ridiculous price. I moved here recently and your place was the first one I went to to get my nails done. You have a tiny little building with about two parking spots off Winchester St. close to the college. Very accommodating to a walk-in. The owner took me after a short wait. The atmosphere was nice. I never picked a polish color so I ended up with blue toenails, but thats cool. Ill go back.

This place has gone downhill horribly. Was a customer from the beginning then stopped having my nails done for about a year. Went in last week and was helped by a woman named Hannah...horrible service, customer interaction, quality of work and communication was non existant. Put my feet in extremely hot water and when I took them out she literally slapped my foot and said no no feet back in water. Yeah...NOPE!Then the manicure. New set of acrylic tips. Cut way to short - 4 gone before I pulled my hand away. Her response was they will grow out not taking off. Then instead of asking for me to move my arm she would scoop up my elbow and pull me whichever way. Mind you the only heat source to dry my nails was to my right so I had no choice but to practice pretzel poses.Then when I was ready to pay I realized I had no cash for the tip I got lectured and tolđ to bring cash next time.I could go on but to spend $90 and walk away with short ugly nails did not make me happy.

I had never been here! So excited to find a place that my fingers didn’t throb after having a full set. Very gentle and beautiful.

First and last experience, made my appointment for 1230 showed up at 12:20 and was barked at by the owner telling me to hurry up and pick a color Im 10 minutes late, which I wasnt. No welcome or remotely normal greeting whatsoever. The whole manicure lasted 12 minutes, it was completely rushed- most people get a manicure because they look forward to a nice hand massage, it literally lasted for 30 seconds each hand. Then I was directed to the warming table that I sat at for 10 minutes, when I got my stuff to get ready to leave she told me to sit back down for another 10 to 15 minutes, excuse me I think I know when Im ready to leave. Oh and I was told to basically not call back if it chipped in a couple days because thats what I get with a regular non gel manicure. I will never go back to this place.

I wont go anywhere else! After someone at a private salon ruined my nails, Helen worked me in last minute to fix this womans mistakes. She made my lumpy/ugly nails smooth and beautiful! Ive had 3 people including Helen work on my nails there and Im never disappointed. Theyre great at pedicures too. Just call ahead, they stay pretty busy which is expected when you do great work. Thank you Helen!

The shop is nice(be forewarned no posted prices). Ill give them another chance(because everyone says they are good) but my experience was not good. I had gel nail polish removed from toes and fingers. I wanted gel nail polish reapplied to toes but not fingers(I used my own Nail Envy). OMG!!! Boy-o-boy Ive heard Vietnamese in other shops, but imagine 25 cats in a bag mad cos they cant get out...several times during my service. My technician was plain ole rough!!! Seemingly on purpose. She was not happy that I didnt let her use a drill on my fingers. She did one better she used a blade(after soaking for at least 30 mins in acetone)...yep a blade to scrape my fingernails. On my thumb she scraped up a 3-4 layer thick 1cm wide piece of my fingernail. She didnt apologize...Im sure she wasnt sorry(more stuck cats). Then I was charged $75.00. I dont mind paying...maybe it was just a bad day. They must be better than this...everyone says so

Got my nails done at Helens for my big vagas trip and it was amazing. The diamonds i put on as a design did fall off but it was after 10 days. Definitely going back.

First manicure was nice, subsequent manicures not very good. Gel overlay was so thick I couldnt pick anything up. Facilities are not as clean as they should be.

Nice people. Just dont take their time on nails always talking to eachother and not the customers

I wish I could not even give one star. I called to have Helen redue one nail and she said she couldn’t do it. She messed up on one of my nails so I pushed the cutical back so see if it was just because my cuticle wasn’t even and because I did that she couldn’t fix it. I wouldn’t recommend anyone going here ever. I was going for 6 months and this is the way she handles things... not professional at all. Thanks Helen....

Rude technician that rushed and took no personal pride in her work. Sloppy filing and polish work. Honestly, my fill only took 15 min and it shows.

I visited on 3/1 at 11am- If I could I wouldn’t even give one full star. Lady rushed my nails and left me leaving with nasty looking nails and not clean at all. The shape is different on each nail. Such a waste of money. I would not go here unless it’s just a normal ped or manicure. Never go if you want acrylics.

College girls be warned. Do not go here. Took off my daughters polish and refused to work on her nails if my daughter did not sign a waiver promising not to give a bad review! Extremely rude to my daughter. Unwarranted behavior and lack of professionalism.

I want here today with two of my girlfriends to try out a new place. This place was HORRIBLE! With an appointment, I still had to wait a half hour. The entire appointment was rushed. The girl kept hurting me and held my foot down when I asked her to stop. Then she blantenly asked me how much I was tipping. Last, she and other girls talked obvious to my friends and I afterwards and pointed. Very rude, very unprofessional
