I went and had eyelash extensions done by Kelsey. A friend of mine had hers done a few days before me. I had them done and they looked great and she told me I would have to go for fills every 3-4 weeks. They starting falling out immediately which I told her. (she never told me not to shower for 24 hours). She said that was normal. More than half of them were gone within a weeks time. I got in touch with her and told her and she said maybe since my lashes are short they couldnt withstand the weight of the lashes (someone experienced might have known that ahead of time and not use the longer ones). She suggested we try shorter and thicker which was fine with me but I wanted it at no expense to me since I paid $252 when all was said and done and she pretty much just ignored my request until I threatened to call the owner at which time she offered to do a fill at 1/2 price. I told her there was no way I was going to pay her any more money and if she had told me they might only last not even a week I wouldnt have even considered getting them done. I did speak to the manager and owner who couldnt do anything for me because she rents a booth there and I have to work it out with Kelsey. She wont work it out so I guess I am just out $252. I suggest people use credit cards and dispute the transcation because with a debit card you cant do that. I made an appt at a reputable salon to have it done and hopefully the staff there wont be as ignorant as the people at A Cut Above! I have never been to a salon that wont make good on a service, this is my first and its very annoying and just not right. This is a small town and word gets around. You reap what you sow!
