I went here with my friend for a belated birthday gift! We both got Tropical Deluxe shellac pedicures. Our nail technicians were Ms. Ann and Ms. Kim. They were so sweet and thorough with our treatment. We definitely felt pampered during our visit. They also provided complimentary drinks. I highly recommend and will definitely be back! Thank you 😊

First time at this place was a great experience, then I returned for a second time and The work on my nails did not turn out well, The good Thing in this place is that they offer you 10 days guarantee; Hannah the Manager contacted me the day after to schedule an appointment and get my nails fixed. She really took care of the problem and assigned me a person with a lot of experience, I couldn’t be more happier, my nails turned out just exactly how I wanted. Dustin was my nail artist, 100% recommended .. Thank you.

I give 5 starts making because the owner has a “mask required “ sign on the door. Of course, I was next to a maskless someone who talked about having just gotten over Covid and took horse dewormer. So much simpler just to wear a mask and get a vaccine. I appreciate a business that tries to keep people safe. And my nails look pretty!

I left very important and felt like a star on red carpet. When I walked in my nails and feet were getting done and the same time. Kevin and his wife were very sweet and did excellent work. My feet were so pretty when I left. The Tropical pedi was the bomb. I will definitely visit again.

Pricing is good, staff is very friendly. The salon is clean, they offer you complimentary drinks.When I didnt like how one of my nails turned out, she was very nice and changed out the color for me.

Being polite goes a long way. I walked into this nail salon at 4:30 on a Sunday and instead of being greeted, someone that worked there (that was sitting off in the distance in a chair) put her hands over her chest in an “x” formation and said “we are closed”. The polite thing would have been to first greet me, and then tell me the establishment is closed, even though your sign says 5:00pm, as does your website. Also, I don’t think they were closed, I think they were just busy. There were people sitting almost shoulder to shoulder in there. Even if you were not going to service me, offering for me to come back at a later date or making me an appointment would have sufficed. Very put off by this experience. I passed a nail salon that was right outside my neighborhood to come here and was treated like this.

I’ve been here 3x and love it ! They’re are so caring and professional. Throughout my process Ms Bella asked me was I ok, did I like it, and did I need anything else . The customer service was great even though they were busy they were consistent of my needs ❤️

This was my first visit. I loved it. The drinks were great and everyone was nice. Towards the end I feel as though the nail tech was rushing a bit. He was very quick to fix the mistake. As soon as I walked in the receptionist greeted me right away and checked my reservation and when they seated me in the pedicure chair they asked me if I would like something to drink and they brought me the color pallets so I could look at the color that I would like for my nails. After they finished they seated me with my nail tech and she was so nice!! We talked and she explained so much about how she was doing my nails and we had a good conversation and they were very clean, and quick. I really enjoyed the music that they played and when I left my nails were absolutely beautiful!!! I can’t wait to go back!!!🤗

I have been coming to this location for over a year now and I cant say enough good things about this place!! From the moment you walk in the girls at the front desk are always so cheerful and helpful. The establishment is always clean, the drinks are delicious, and the services are very reasonably priced. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!! By far the best, fastest and most thorough service Ive ever had in my life!!! I hate I didnt get the ladies names who did my pedicure and manicure. And the manicurist was so patient and worked with me to find exactly what I was looking for! I will most definitely be coming back, this is officially my spot whenever Im in town!

We went to get our nails done today and was overall pleased. However, just a couple hours later my daughter’s nail polish fell off completely on one nail and chipped on the others with very little activity. Also the nail polish on most nails is splotchy. We are extremely disappointed since we got her a mani pedi for vacation and now has missing nail polish and chipped nails. Also the toe polish has chipped off on the big toe. Waste of $25

All the employees were friendly, caring, asked questions about what I wanted to be sure they understood, and were efficient and did not hurry.There were 8 customers on a Wednesday afternoon at 3:30pm. All the employees wore masks. Customers were not required to wear masks. I chose to wear a mask and used the hand sanitizer that was provided at the Counter where I paid. EXCELLENT PEDICURE!!

Went here to get my nails done with my girlfriends. We were immediately seated as we checked in. I highly recommend this place. Such a great atmosphere and wonderful people ❤

This place is disappointing, too dishonest !!! From the person who takes the services I asked for 2 REGULAR girl manicures of $ 10 each, they happened to take the service, I got caught in a call and at the time of paying he told me that it was $ 66 of 2 Shellac !! This is good ?? If I asked for 2 regulars because they take advantage of the fact that they are girls and they do what was not requested? I made the claim and a completely rude woman offered to remove the enamel for them and that we never return to her place. I definitely do not recommend it. I think there are places with more ethics and honesty than this ... definitely the worst !!They made us have the worst experience today, never visit this place !!To his answer: It is the last straw! Since when to ask the value of a service is to accept it? when he told me the value, I confirmed that he wanted 2 Regular manicures, never accept the shellac, trust his technicians and it was my big mistake. If I had asked for that job, I would have paid for it with pleasure, but it seems to me more than an abuse that in addition to doing something that is not requested, now the client is blamed. How bad are you. And if the clients who were in the place, the scene was made by her employee, who was the one who suggested that if I did not pay, she would withdraw the girls work and I accepted, because I do not think that paying what you want is the fair way to work . Do things well, because I see that in several comments I have not been the only person I agree. I am at peace that whoever reads this makes their own decision, hopefully not risking such a bad place. This was my first time going here. I didn’t make an appointment but thought I would wing it. The super nice gentleman informed me that there could be a 30-40 minute wait. I was in a pinch so I said that was fine. I was seated at the bar and only waited maybe 15 minutes. Although they were VERY busy and VERY packed, the lady that did my pedicure did not seem rushed and it did not seem like I was “just another pedicure” she had to do. Everyone is very friendly and very professional. I will definitely be back!

I’ve been going here for a while and they have wonderful and experienced nail technicians.Their prices are reasonable compared to other locations.A recent downside is the wait time- unless you go in the mornings or make an appointment a day ahead of time, you will be waiting.Their acrylic powders and dip powders are durable. I honestly haven’t had any issues as far as the durability goes.The staff are friendly and it’s the only place I feel welcome to take my 13 month old daughter to and know I can relax when she fusses a little bit.Kevin and Joely are the nail techs I’ve personally had my nails done by. The picture shown is by Joely. I’m sure the rest are just as good, but I recommend these two.

I came here for the first time and got a pedicure done by Alexis. I truly enjoyed my time here! Alexis is so sweet and made me feel really comfortable getting a pedicure for the first time in a good while. Definitely recommend her and this place in general! There was a lot of people but they still attended to everyone in a timely manner. Will definitely be back!

I went to the nail shop for a pedicure Saturday morning. Although there were many customers, I was seated and treated as if I was the only one. Not to mention the beautiful finish and great mimosa.

I received a refill for my natural nails. I was told there is an additional $5 to have the nails cut dow... I didnt get my nails cut down. When I went to the regier I was told the refill was $40, which I thought was overpriced.I left a $5 tip, even though I didnt think Jessica did a good job! When my debit card cleared I was charged an additional $5. I called to inquire and was told I was later charged $5 because my nails were long and reshaping. My nails had never lost its shape, so it didnt matter if I had a cut or kept my natural length, I was going to be charged.That is stealing bc the $5 was added unapproved.I WILL NEVER RETURN TO NAIL BAR on Fry Rd.What they wouldnt do to customers for $5 extra! I will call you out every time I hear the name NAIL Bar.. den of thieves!!!!

I have been to this salon for the last few months. I have my own real nails just like to get them done and get them taken care of. Last Saturday I went in and got my nails done. I broke the covering on two nails. Walked in there today to see if they could just fix the covering on my nails. They refused to fix it they told me to come back another day. I told them that my nail will probably break by then. They refuse to fix them. It does not take long to fix a broken nail cover that they couldn’t fit me in.

Went to Nail bar of Texas after I had a bad nail experience somewhere else. Without an appointment and a very busy establishment I was taken care of very quickly. I get a manicure with dipping and a Royal pedicure. I was in Heaven! She took extra care of my nail bed and did thin layers of dipping fixing as she went. They look like my real nails. Which I LOVE!! she made sure I was ok the whole time. Then I changed my mind of just a color change on the feet to full pedicure cause of the amazing care I had. Rose was amazing for both. I have found my new place. They care about the experience and that you get the best nail tech for what you want.

11/19/2020Great quality. Lovely service. I needed short (shorter than my fingertips short for work), rounded, natural-looking nails. Im a chewer so tips were added. I am beyond happy with the results! Amy listened to my every nit pick and gave me perfection! 😍11/6/2020Perfect! I needed natural nails but still elegant for a photo shoot I was doing. Also got a pedicure. My fingernails were done in a natural pink ombre to white tips. Stunning in my photos but didnt distract too much from the rest of me. 😁👍 Pedi was so relaxing and much needed. Pedicurist spoke minimal English but the manicurist was beyond proficient to translate.

I walked in without a appointment at 11:25am on a Monday and the salon was quite packed so I asked the hostess how long was the wait for a pedicure. She replied about 10 minutes. I said okay went to the car and grabbed my purse. I came back in and was sat in a chair at 11:30. I wasn’t acknowledged, not given a menu of the different types of pedicures I could’ve gotten, didn’t even offer to have my feet soaking while I waited, and not offered a bottle of water or anything. Once 12pm hit after 30 minutes of waiting I left out the salon without being serviced. If it was that busy I shouldn’t have been quoted a 10 minute wait.

Came in with no appointment and was able to see me right away. Jessi did my nails, showed her a picture of what I wanted and did it with no problem. Will come come again.

I visited the nail bar and I was very impressed. The lady Vivian did my nails and she did a great job. It’s hard to find people that do them the way you like. She was extremely friendly and I will definitely ask for her again. The pedicure chairs were very comfortable too, can’t wait till next time!

They actually didn’t screw up my nails, even though the place is jam packed and no a lot of room to walk around, the nail techs are nice and they did a great job!

I generally give multiple tries before i rule out a particular business.Used their services for 3 times, every time either pedicure or manicure was messed up. The quality is not consistent. First time the pedi massage went bad, second time manicure wasnt great.Third strike was today when the manicure lady pulled out a little more cuticle which led to bleeding. The front office executive said i have very thin cuticles, making me feel like it was my fault :DPoor quality is still tolerable but not getting hurt. Not gonna go back again.

Ann and Layla are usually my nail techs and they do a fantastic job. I love Nail Bar of Texas in Katy. Great service and excellent people!

I’ve been to Nail Bar of Texas Katy on multiple occasions and have enjoyed it each time. I’m not sure if he’s still employed there, but James was always by go to for nails. I haven’t had a bad pedicure experience either, I highly recommend.

AWFUL customer service, I tried multiple times to make sure the technician I had could do my nails the way I wanted only to be ignored. When I finally showed the tech what I wanted he laughed, called the receptionist and told her something in another language, after which I showed her what I wanted and was told to select my colors. Never was I told that my service couldn’t be completed, staff was very unprofessional, the receptionist acted as if she was mad at me when I was upset that they couldn’t finish the services I asked for due to inexperienced technicians. They left with my toes painted to match the color of the design they couldn’t finish, now I have to find another salon last minute. As someone who has dealt with unhappy customers I would never leave a paying customer unhappy and slighted in this way. They’re more concerned with taking your money rather than providing good quality service. If you want experienced technicians and good customer service GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!!

I’m giving this establishment three stars because my daughter received a mani and pedi and the lady did a good job. I received a toe polish change and dip powder. My technician put the wrong powder on my nails, but I made an appointment on a different day for her to change it. Once I got there, the receptionist told me that it would be a bit of a wait until the technician finishes up a client. I had no problem with that. What disturbed me was that someone else walked up to me and asked me what I needed and tried to suggest that I get shellac because it would be better than dip, first mistake. Second mistake she wondered if the technician knew she made a mistake about the color, and I said yes. Third mistake she asked the receptionist if she knew about it, and she stated yes ( I guess she thought I was lying). Fourth mistake she tried to make an excuse as to why the nail technician made the mistake in the first place. That was unnecessary since I didn’t ask for an excuse. I told her people make mistakes and that I just want to get the color changed. I’m confused why she even approached me. If it were not for my daughter’s great experience, I would have given one star. Just a bit of advice, when someone have already handled the situation don’t try to insert yourself. It really wasn’t necessary.

I had a fantastic pedicure with my sister just before Christmas. The color options were wonderful, several great brands. The cocktail menu was really nice and the drinks looked strong. I did notice the salon was very busy and a little messy but I figured it was due to the holiday rush.My technician was very sweet, clean and spoke very nice English. All tools were properly sanitized prior to use. The staff was busy but we were seated and treatment began quickly.

Just like the reviews below, horrible customer service! Hannah the manager is so rude. She cares about present money not money that has already been paid. How can you not accommodate someone for one nail that broke within less than 10 days ago. As I keep seeing the other reviews you will not take ownership for your wrong doing however instead you try to put the blame back on the customer. Which is not professional, my family and I will take our business elsewhere. Like you said in the store “that’s up to you!” Also another comment saying you don’t care about your customers so please no need to respond with another excuse because you are now being called out in writing.

About 3 weeks ago I visited NBoK and was impressed. The place is lovely, the staff is friendly, it’s a vibe! I had a dip set and eyebrow wax by Jessie and a pedicure by Audrey, the ladies were great. Nails lasted 2 weeks and shellac pedicure going into the 3rd week, I’m very delighted and this is definitely going to be my salon when I’m on the west side!

This place is not good . I got my nails done and the first time they charged me for taking the nails 5 dollars even though I did it myself . The technician was been very rough soI did it myself . Still got charge for it . Got a line one line as design and got 25 dollars extra . Eel Which they did not warm be about . I asked for square round shape. Technician did a coffin instead and they charged me more too. Even though I asked for the other shape. That was my first time : second time I went just got a plain dipping powder. One nail broke 4 days later … when to fix it the manger seem bother . They couldn’t find my transaction had to show her bank account to prove it . Then had to wait a while then they made me come back the next day. They were also taking among themselves and giving me looks which made me feel uncomfortable. Came back next day took a while to get fix also taking about me felt uncomfortable again. 2 days later another nail broke . I didn’t even bother coming I just didn’t want to deal with their attitude . This place as long as you paid them high money they are ok and nice if you go to get something fix or a small service they treat you like garbage .

This was my first time at this nail shop. I usually go to my regular salon however my usual tech lady was off on this particular day. Anyways, I was a walk in and was greeted very politely. I told them what I wanted and was serviced right away. I am very particular about my pedicure and manicure however they were done very neatly and the techs were very professional. They were sociable but didnt talk my head off. I am just a person that likes to enjoy my experience and not a chatter box. The pricing is decent. I usually pay 70 including eyebrow at my usual salon and I paid 70 here for dipped nails with pedicure. I was treated professionally when it was time to pay as well. The cashier explained the rewards program to me and even offered to give me the birthday discount next time I return since my birthday was the previous day. In conclusion I would definitely return to this nail shop.

They are constantly making appointments when they don’t have time and make you wait. I made an appointment with someone and I waited over an hour for her & decided to leave when she still had 30 minutes left with her current client. They rescheduled me for the next day & still didn’t have an appointment available after they said they did. Today I made an appointment with someone. I was running 5 minutes late & she started on someone else so they said the wait would be 45 minutes. Sooo we can wait over an hour for them, but they can’t wait 5 minutes? What a joke.

Don’t bother coming here. They did a poor job on my nails and when I told them I wanted something fixed, I got a bad attitude. If they spent more time on the customer instead of gossiping in Vietnamese, they might actually do a better job at making sure the customer’s nails looked great. Never coming here again. I’ll spend my money elsewhere.

I’ve went there for the second time today i give it to them they were busy but i was told 20 minutes wait ended up sitting there for an hour no one checked on me i ended up walking out let’s just say i won’t be going back. The first visit was decent but this one was horrible.

The best Nail Techs EVER!!! Everything they do lasts FOREVER. My nail NEVER looks old or ugly. All of my diamonds stay on. I couldnt go for a touch up for 2 months and my nail did not Crack or fade and only showed the growth. They are always friendly and willing to make any changes to accommodate your taste or what you prefer. The drinks are always on point. Let me just say that i have found the place where Ill keep getting my nails done! I am in love!! Nail technician Mia did an amazing job and she was super nice i brought a picture of the nail design I wanted and they came out just like the picture! I also took my daughters to do a mani and pedi combo and they were very happy with it. Like I said, i found my nail place!!

I’ve been coming to this nail location since I moved to Houston. I would say this place and staff are great, friendly and very professional. I’ve worked with several nail techs and each and everyone of them knows what they are doing. Did I mention you can have a drink while you get your nails and toes done??... after a long day of work it’s something that’s needed.. Tonight I was able to work with Jason and he was very sweet and asked questions about what I like and quick! .... I even let him pick my nail color. Overall his work was perfectly done down to the length, shape and color . This location should be proud of the staff that they have.

I had got my toes done I was suppose to get a full set and a pedicure but I didn’t because of my service that I received. It started with the first person doing my toes nails had messed up the shape and when I got upset they ignored me u too I’lll I said something about getting my nails done an hour later after taking multiple ahead of and I got told that ALL of them had appointments. Worst service I have gotten in a very long time.
