I love diamond but the rest is Mis managed . Never have any walk in appointments. But also don’t have enough staff to handle the business. Just lost me as a customer . Good bye for ever .

Im only giving 3 stars because this chain is good. THIS LOCATION, however, is not. There were so many of these gnat-like bugs flying around. Its a new location so this is very gross. Then my man was told 45 minutes. We waited & then we observed that there was actually 4 people in front of us. It takes WAY longer than 45 minutes to cut 4 peoples hair - they only had 2 people actually cutting hair & 3 people walking around behind the counter. Why do you only have 2 people on a Sunday? Regardless, I was happy to find a location close to home, then ended up being very upset with the outcome. We ended up leaving - not even getting a cut.

Just visited Tune Up for the first time and it was fantastic! Rose took care of my haircut and beard trim, and it was honestly the best one Ive ever gotten. She took the time to make sure what style I wanted and gave her professional opinion on what would look good. Enjoyed a nice Shiner Bock once everything was done, definitely signing up for the VIP on my next visit.

I like this place when I can get a chair. Not sure what their business model is but they only staff up for appointments. I walked in right when doors opened with two other guys and they turned us away because we didn’t have appointments with only one barber opening. Seems like they are letting a lot of business go

Every time we go here we make an appointment and end up waiting 30-45 minutes. I don’t know what’s the point of an appointment. There is no customer service and somehow people go in front of us even though we have an appointment. We’ve tried this place 4 times and let trying to let them prove us wrong. But we are officially done and will NEVER come back. On top of it don’t send your kids here. They have zero patience for a child’s haircut.

There’s always an issue when i go, the stylist is having issues or the computer system is having problems. And whats the point of making an appointment only to wait 30 minutes? Management isn’t very friendly. And they charge covid tax. I have to tell the same stylist every single time how to cut my hair and she still gets in wrong. This is the last time i come here. I hope that not all locations are like this one.

Theres apparently no reason to make an appointment here because they disregard it and put walk ins ahead of you. Ive been here multiple times and theyre there furthest thing from consistent!

Diamond was amazing. Atmosphere is perfect. Whiskey was... Well whiskey. You cant have a better experience than with this place. I went from hillbilly to brawny paper towel guy and the process was better than I could of imagined.

Best place to get a cut and a cold brew in at the same time. Dimond is my favorite, she alway hooks it up with a great cut and beard trim. I literally come to this location just for her

This was my go to place but... every time I go its we are taking appointments ... We only do walks-ins bulls#*t. Srsly, pick one.

As for a #1 fade and get a buzz cut on the left side and a fade in the right 😂. Not coming back here again.

I got an excellent haircut from Rose as well as good conversation, and was handed a beer from the owner herself.Good quality haircuts and great folks running the place.

Great place, Diamond is awesome. All the people talking about wait times and such should just go get haircut somewhere else like Great Clips. The stylists here take their time and do a great job. Ive never had an issue when I go in, but Im also willing to wait an hour or hour and a half because they do an amazing job .

This place is great! Diamond did a great job! The rest of the staff were great as well. My only suggestion would be to hire some more stylists. The wait time wasnt bad for me since I got in early but it got super busy once I got in the chair. I definitely have already recommended this place to all my friends. Love to see new places in the Katy area.

A very nice experience as far as getting a hair cut. I got a bald fade, a hard part, and a the top scissor cut all done very well nice and slick. However, the real nice part wash the shampoo wash and hot towel after the cut. Also the free drinks either side, whiskey, or beer, AWESOME!!!

I think they cut off 5 lbs. Bye Corona beard. Steph did great. I even signed up for the VIP.

Nice environment. Stylist need more education on Dandruff. I work in Dermatology and it is not a dry scalp issue, as the stylist told us. It is an over production of oil and needs more scalp washing and medicated shampoo.

If you plan on visiting this location I HIGHLY suggest making an appointment. Two people working on a Friday and waited an hour & half for a haircut for my son. The ladies were super nice and I know this is a new location but having two Stylest on a Friday evening is not good for business. Praying on a Saturday they have more staff.

Loved this place. Definitely will be retuening. Great service, fun atmosphere, and a friendly staff. Price is not unreasonable either. Go check it out if you are in the area.

Very unhappy with this location and services. Went in for a beard trim, and ear and nose wax. Went we arrived there were 2 stylists and one person behind the counter.The wife and I sat in the chairs and waited and noticed that the stylist closest to us would attend to the gentleman in the seat and then pick up her phone to text while she had a towel over his face or he couldnt see her. We waited 30 minutes for this guys beard trim, and unsure how long he had already been in there.When she was done there was another guy in front of us, but he was sitting at the bar on a business call. We sat there waiting 20 minutes without them letting this guy know it was his turn or letting me go in front of him. Meanwhile the tylist is playing on her phone. Finally the other stylist mentioned to her that I should go next.I told her each of the services I was wanting and we started with the beard trim. She placed the guard on the clippers and did the beard trim for about 2 minutes...great. Then laid me back and got a warm towel and placed it over my face for about 5 minutes....very nice. Then removed that towel and used 4-5 different ointments in my beard 3-4 minutes......still alright. Then laid me back again and placed another warm towel over my face for about 10 minutes......alright now its getting old. The wife let me know afterwards that the lady simply played on her phone each time I had the towel over my face.So then onto the nose wax. I heard the lady at the counter mention that I sad wanted a wax also and the stylist acted surprised, like I hadnt already told her. So she went and got the wax products.....while the now cool towel is still over my face. She then comes over to me and starts scooting the towel on my face down, just below my eyebrows. I thought this was weird so I asked her, through the towel, what we were doing now. Well she was getting ready to do my eyebrows....WTF. I let her know 3-4 times that it was my nose and she seemed very confused. Finally she got the message and prepped me for it. So the product they use is the same wax used for external body parts. Its a soft wax where you have to use strips to remove it. Instead ear and nose wax is hard when it dries so you can remove it more easily. So needless to say the wax didnt work and when done there was still wax in my nose.Same was done with the ear wax. Not all the wax was removed from my ears. The good thing is that she got all of the hair out of my ears unlike all the hair that was left in my nose. The bad thing is that she didnt do it with the wax and instead used tweezers to pluck each individual hair out.So final result was a beard that was not even with lots of random long hairs, a nose full of hair and wax, and wax still in my ears. Yeah, I wont be going back.

Took my son here for a haircut and the front desk girl was awful. Horrible customer service.

Not the friendliest of staff, especially the stylist who opened the doors. Didnt catch her name but she has the first spot on the left. My family and I are new to the area and have had such good experiences with other franchises of the same company, this was the worst experience. My 2 yr old son and I waited outside for doors to open, tried the door and it was still locked while staff had back to the door. The stylist I mentioned turned around and hand signaled store opens at 11. Well.....it was already 11 and I wasnt the only person waiting outside. Brandon, the stylist that cut my sons hair didn’t ask my sons name, nor what style I wanted for my son. I also asked if he was good with children and he said “no”. Not the greatest of confidence in the appointment but moved ahead anyways due to extenuating circumstances. The cut was okay, not the best he’s gotten. Just seems like the entire staff should take a lesson on patron greeting, customer service, friendliness and talking to the client. I won’t be coming back, would rather drive farther from our new home to get better service and experience. And stylist in the front should learn to be a little nicer to patrons. Im sure the owners wouldn’t appreciate this. Im likely not the only recipient of her rudeness. So disappointed.

With only one person getting a haircut and two stylist and no one else in the salon I was told I needed a reservation or I could leave. There was no effort to explain why. There was no offer to help me make a reservation. I was just told I had to leave. Rude and unprofessional

Great staff, knowledge stylists, reasonable prices, and beer while you get your haircut. I wouldnt mind hanging out there even when I am not getting my hair cut.

I’m trying to support this place but can’t do it. Two ladies working on a Friday. Waited almost 1 1/2 hours with 2 people already in the chair and 2 more waiting in front of me. They always have the same answer “the other stylists is out sick”. Seven chairs empty.

Absolutely ridiculous. I spent a full 2 hours waiting in line, was told the only 2 ahead of me were kids, then watched one of the kids fathers and another man get called up ahead of me; a man who walked in after me, mind you.

Decent price, nice atmosphere, great cut.
