Amazing overall experience! You walk in and can see how clean the place is in and kept. I loved to see all the barbers cleaning their stations after each customer! made me and my boyfriend feel safe. I really enjoyed the barber Chriss service! He cleaned his chair and everything before calling us over and was an entertaining host. He kept the conversation going and really engaged in it. Chris is the BEST at what he does! I’ve been taking my son to get his haircut with him for years. He’s the only one I trust. I’m very picky so it’s hard for me to find barbers with precise detailed work the way I like it. That’s the reason I’ve been going with Chris for so long, his attention to detail is like no other barber I’ve gone to and his blends are perfection. My boyfriend started recently going to him too and loves his haircuts more then ever! Chris has a great personality and is worth every dollar! Place was very clean and like new. I usually get my cuts from Chris. I personally see that he keeps his chair and equipment sanitized between each customer. I recommend asking for him.

Amazing experience is an understatement! I walked in not knowing what I wanted to do with my hair and I walked out with the EXACTLY what I wanted! Miguel offered great suggestions in which direction to go with my hair as I’m currently growing it out and have no clue what I’m doing. Had an appointment with Chris last week for a wedding I was in.Appointment said 45 minutes but he got it done in about 30.Did a great job with my beard and haircut.Would definitely recommend this place.

I really needed to get a haircut, but I didn’t have much time, so I called and was luckily able to get an appointment with Amanda. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a nice fade or a nice haircut overall! She cut my hair exactly the way I wanted it. My hair looked very clean and sharp, easily one of the best fades I’ve ever gotten. Definitely will be coming again.

This is the best barber Ive been to in all 3 states I have lived. Miguel did an awesome job with my first cut at Greyscale today. The place was super clean, and it was a positive vibe from the moment I walked in. Whoever handles the background music playlist has great taste (it was the first thing I noticed when I walked in). I will be going back to Grayscale for my barbershop needs for the foreseeable future.

This a comprehensive guide for those who have a hard time to justify their pricing.I remembered when I first came when they just started opening up the shop, there wasnt any price list for the cuts yet. Considering that I came from a frugal family who never spent more than $12 in a haircut, I was turned off by the price of $30-$35.Now that I had more money to spend, I went ahead and gave this place a shot. Unsurprisingly enough, I got one of the best haircut that I had in a while.Of course, you can just go to other location and get a haircut for a cheaper price. These are the things that you might miss for a cheaper location:- The ability to do an appointment, which is vital for people like me who mostly schedule their weeks ahead of time.- The care that the barbers put when doing your haircut. They do no rushing which potentially could leave a room for errors.Maria, who took care of my hair, was also friendly and we had a great conversation while she was cutting my hair. I guess if youre the kind of person who dont really like to have a small talk, you can tell them upfront about it.My only criticism is that she didnt go all out whenever I told her to give whatever she thinks good to my hair since she is the barber. But, it was my partially my fault since I didnt tell her that I wouldnt mind however my hair would turned out.Overall, Grayscale barbershop is a great place for a haircut that really justify their pricing.

Considering that I read good reviews on here about Amanda, well I called and the girl who answered the phone laughed when I asked if Amanda was available? I asked if I said some sort of joke and she stated that Amanda is always booked. Well how am I supposed to know her schedule especially since it’s my first time calling off of reviews. She then proceeded to say they’re closed Sunday and Monday if I want I can schedule for Tuesday. While their haircuts look amazing her lack of professionalism and handling a first time caller left me with a sour taste. She needs to be trained to better handle potential new clients. Now I’m sure the barbershop won’t lose a sweat without my business however if this is how all potential customers are handled and treated then better training is needed.———————————————————————-UPDATE TO MY REVIEWMiguel went out of his way to reach out to me the very same day of my bad experience. He called me personally and offered a free haircut. It’s not what I intended to get out of this however Miguel insisted you make it right for my bad experience and that is what I call AWESOME customer service. I have been a regular here ever since April 2020. They have been very professional and Amanda has always kept me right. The barbershop always stays clean and my cut stays cleaner.

Leila is a superstar. She took her time, worked cheerfully and patiently to give me an excellent cut and fade. If you have a beard, take notice. Her work on mine was phenomenal. She even razored the edges to set the line. Get your appointment set before Katy figures out how good she is.

Every barber is highly skilled. Originally went to Miguel then now have Rolando aka Rolaz as my barber. Excellent barber, place is always clean, follow proper guidelines, and always welcome me.

Today was my first time at this super cool barber shop. Laila did a phenomenal job with my haircut. She took her time, she was very professional, friendly, and fun. She is incredibly talented, I will definitely come back.

All of the barbers in the shop cut very well. Amanda is the barber I use for my kids haircuts. She is very precise and cuts their hair just how its wanted. The owner Miguel is also an excellent barber. What I also like is they are able to keep close to the appointment times.

This was my sons first appointment at the barbershop and it was a great experience. Amanda cut his hair amazingly and she was very patient with him; he is 4 yrs old. He left looking great and he said I like my haircut! I like the online appointment portal it made getting an appointment easy and with minimal wait time- we will be back!

I’ve only had two barbers in my life, ET and Oscar. I’ve been getting my cut from Oscar for 3 years and each time he cuts my hair, it never comes out looking bad. When I found out that he was moving from his old shop, I was like as long as you’re in Houston I don’t mind being loyal and following wherever barbershop he goes to. Oscar does an awesome job with cutting my hair, he’s also polite and likes to have conversations with you to make the cut less awkward. The place is pretty big and most importantly very clean & friendly service. I use to be 15 minutes from his old shop and now that he’s here I am 35 mins; which in my opinion is out of the way, but I am do not mind driving to get my hair cut from Oscar. Keep up the awesome work man.

Miguel (the proprietor) has been my barber since 2014, and still see him now despite living in Austin now.Excellent customer experience, and amazing cuts. Prices are way more accommodating than any of the places in the loop, and a whole lot more traditional. No “hip” agenda here, this shop is what you have been looking for!

Maria has been my barber for years, she has one heck of an eye for attention to detail. I went from looking like a mop to looking like GQ in about 30-40 minutes because she takes her time and listens to what you want and does exactly that. It’s totally worth the price you pay. I recommend an appointment that way you can be seen immediately, come check out Grayscale and ask for Maria you won’t regret it.
