If I had 2 more thumbs, Id give 4 thumbs down. My shipment has been lost for over a week and it seems nobody can give me a straight answer. We are talking $6K worth of product. Stated that I refused delivery even though I was home all day. No phone call, no email, no attempted delivery. This was after last week their driver said his trailer was 53 ft and couldnt deliver to a residential neighborhood. He asked us to meet him to get the Sectional we ordered. We have no way of transporting a Sectional, thats why we paid to have it delivered. No one called us to reschedule like the driver said. Now I have no idea where my $800 Sectional is.

Theyve manage to lose our shipment. we called numerous times and talk to numerous people and to no avail we still havent havent received our pallet. customer service hasnt done anything to help. basically told my company were out of luck. beware doing any business with estes

Ill be very nice with my wording. Ill just say that, with the way freight gets handled, Ill never ship anything through Estes. Youre better off just breaking it yourself. Dont get a job here either. Very bad reputation in the industry.

Packages stay at their facility for a week and then they falsely claim a attempt was made to deliver (no one ever showed up) and so I emailed got the runaround saying it would be delivered the next day by 4pm.. I waited around all day and no one ever came. I hope I get my package this week after waiting on it for 3 weeks. Very disappointing company won’t have them deliver ever again

Lost my very expensive shipment for days... ended up getting delivered to the wrong address a block away. This was 4 very large and very heavy pallets. The buisness that took it in was thankfully a friend and said the driver was out of touch, had never operated a lift gate before, and almost dumped my pallet over the end of the truck.Only giving two stars, because the lady I spoke to on the phone tried her best to be helpful.

Were supposed to call to give me a 4 hour window - did not.Showed up 10 days before estimated arrival, didnt bother even ringing my doorbell.Placed a 2000lb pallet ON THE STREET, partially blocking a lane of the road when they could have placed 10 feet over on my driveway.Refused to return to move it.Costing me $100 to remedy the situation.Below you replied you will check to verify I received the correct service level? No need. Unless you have a service level that includes Your delivery will be left on public property without any warning or call-ahead, I did not receive the correct level of service.

I purchased an extremely large gun safe online. Estes was the trucking company that delivered it to my house. I own a business that receives very large deliveries on a daily basis. I was skeptical as to how this particular delivery was going to go...I could not have been happier! It all started with Shawn calling me to schedule the delivery. She was great! Could not have been any easier to deal with! Then Tracy the driver/delivery guy was over the top with his customer service! I live in the country and have about a 200 long driveway that he was unable to get the semi truck up the tight turn. He delivered the 1,200+ lb item at the end of the driveway and drug it all the way up the driveway with a pallet jack to get it in my house! He had such a great attitude and was so very helpful with everything! Im very impressed with this company!

I called multiple times trying to figure out where my delivery was. No one knew where it was. I got the run around and transferred to 4 different companies/terminals. Each one said the other place had the package. Bad customer service.

Called couple times about a shipment that was already very late based on the normal transit time, told me that the shipment will go to the destination terminal the night of 6/15, spoke to customer service again on 6/16 morning and found out that the shipment hasnt moved out and will not move out at all on 6/16. We all understand theres no real guarantee on LTL shipping but this carrier has shown zero effort to deliver our shipment at a reasonable time frame. Were shipping face masks and Americans need them to slow down the spread of the pandemic, I really hope these shipments can get where they need to go asap beyond the business standpoint.in response to the message left by this carrier, shipment was picked up on 6/5 with ETA 6/11 to Minneapolis based on the normal transit time carrier provided. Today is 6/16 and the freight still has to stop at 2 more terminals before going to the destination terminal. It feels like Im using Fedex economy except Im paying twice as much.

So my review is based upon a one-time only interaction. Being a truck driver myself Ive been aware of Estes presence for a long time, especially in the midwest but I had never interacted with them until now.I ordered some replacement parts for my car from my friends in California and was told later on that ESTES was the courier and would be getting into contact with me shortly before delivery to my home. I did run into a couple snags. My order arrived at the terminal a few days before I got the shipment at my door. I called them the day my tracking number (pro number) had indicated that my parts had reached the KCK Terminal thats local to me. I had hoped to pick it up in my personal vehicle hoping to get to them sooner but when I called the day of the indicated arrival, I got nothing helpful information wise from the lady I spoke to on the phone which was fine. Like I said, being a truck driver myself, I knew there was processing and moving to do anyway so not a big deal. Called the next day and was told my cell phone number had not been on the order so they were struggling to contact me to make a delivery or setup a pickup time. So on Day 3 I finally reached an incredibly helpful lady that informed me my package was being brought to me via an outside courier because of how backed up has been with orders lately. My only other complaint would be that the service used to drop my box off called me 5 minutes before they showed up so I had to run home real quick. Slightly inconvenient but I got my stuff so Im happy.I cant say ESTES would be my first choice in domestic shipping but overall, it was a 4 out of 5 star experience. Only docking them a star because the setup does seem slightly disorganized and the phone calls I made have reinforced that.

And when we have had any issues with any shipment she has been very proactive in helping us to solve the problem and when we had one shipment that took too long to arrive she made it right by refunding the freight. Thanks Jill. Customer service and customer relations is superb.

We use Estes Express for much of our LTL shipping needs. We are very happy with the level of service that we receive. Damage is rare. I just dont get any complaints from our customers about deliveries being late, damaged, problematic, or any of that. Our sales rep, Trisha Walton is the best. I have worked with her for a number of years, and she rocks. We have a regular driver, Ryan, that picks up from us most days. He is kind, and professional. No complaints here! I highly recommend Estes Express for LTL shipping.

Never rely on this company.This company told me that they would give my information and delivery to a agent and the agent would give me a time and day to drop off my delivery. I get an email randomly today that my order is out for delivery. The delivery was 6 days early. I am unable to move my order from the main road to the apartment because it weighs 500 lbs and I was told to basically figure it out. Worst service ever.

Worst Delivery Experience. We ordered a very expensive light that was shipped by Estes. The fist issue was they called me the day before delivery and gave me a 12-4 window. I agreed that would work. I got a call the day of the delivery around 950 am and they stated they were on their way. I told the person the delivery window was from 12-4. He was rude and said nope it is now. I told him that it would take 15 minutes to arrive home and he said he would wait. As I pulled in he had dropped the box off in our driveway and was leaving. The box was severely damaged and the lighting fixture was flung around inside the box and nothing was packed. I think this company needs to have better customer service and handle packages better. This is a $1400 light that may now be broke due to their shipping.

John from Estes Express delivered our 500 pound cast iron claw foot tub and he was simply AMAZING. Not only was he extremely professional, he managed to make the delivery during icey road conditions and took great care in making sure our tub was handled safely. Wonderful experience! If they will tell you that your trailer missing and they couldnt find it,dont trust them, go outside and look by yourself, because people there dont know what they are doing, they just dont care, they are more care about $20 that they getting an hour and they care about the lunch that they have to have on time.

This has been an utter joke. They lost my shipment, which was supposed to fill a very large order for a customer. After 3 weeks I came to the terminal and was told we dont know where your stuff is. The manager had the lady in the front try to get my number to call me back with no information. The least they could have done is come out, maybe apologize? Maybe? But no, some ridiculous business practice here. Avoid this company.

Waiting 4 Hours to schedule a pick up.... what great customer service! Ill just take my freight else where and I would recommend you do the same. Side note... Ive shipped with Estes 10 times and 6 out of 10 were either delayed or damaged.

These people are rude and miserable. Had an interview and the lady at the front appeared to be bothered at the fact I was there. The HR lady was terribly rude had a miserable demeanor and definitely not someone I would want to come to work and look at everyday. Chics working there walking around like theyre about to jump on a stripper pole. Just a hot mess. Thats why theyre always hiring for the same thing. Hire people who know how to look presentable at work and who are happy to be there then maybe Estes can stay off of job sites!!!

At approximately 5pm on 11-21-19 I witness your driver attempt to run another CMV driver off the road on 3w Hwy in KC KS the other Driver had to pull into The dollar General to avoid being hit where YOUR driver exited his vehicle and was attempting to start a fight with the other Driver. The other Driver remained in his vehicle and your driver exited the parking lot and cut off oncoming traffic to continue westbound on HWY 3w. The most unprofessional guys Ive ever seen.

This the most unprofessional delivery service I have ever dealt with. Took five days from first contact! Trying bring a semi long trailer into a residential area. Followed by the driver calling me and asking me to go him and pick up my delivery. Really? Rescheduled to a smaller box truck. Guess what? The could not find the house! They did not bother to call. The just dropped off at another house! WOW! How unprofessional can you get? Good things I have trustworthy neighbors! The total lack of professionalism from top to bottom with this company is a major joke! How do you stay in business? The service is so bad they do not deserve to be rated!

Unbelievably poor experience - Your company never delivered our package the date we were scheduled and I was never called. When I called to find out what happened I was told that the truck was too big to get down my street and (our street width is HUGE). Then it was rescheduled for Monday. The truck arrived, drove all over my neighbors lawn and then backed up into my driveway to unload (took 30 minutes) - when they went to find the package on the truck - it WAS NOT THERE! How incompetent can a company be? I took 2 hours off of work to receive this package and it wasnt on the truck!!!! OMG

One of their trucks just came barrelling down our residential street tearing down 4 power poles and leaving power lines on the ground along the way. Consequently everyone has lost power on a day that is supposed to be 96 degrees. This company is going to pay for all the food in my refrigerator that goes bad. Totally inexcusable. The driver needs to be fired at the very least!

Ordered materials from h.d. they use Estes for delivery. Estes is two days past due, i call tracking number and estes tells me to come pick up from them after 2:30. So i need materials to finish project and agreed to do so. I been wanting 45min, nothing. I understand things dont go perfect every time but i can tell these people dont care. I would give lower rating if possible.

The worst. After waiting 5 hours for a delivery and no phone call from Estes, I just found out they left this morning without the proper equipment to make my delivery. Even though they had my number ALL DAY there was no contact made. Now they want to try again tomorrow when Im not able to be home for the delivery. Incompetent and pathetic. Calling the facility is of no help. No apologies and 3 unhelpful people on the phone. If anyone wants to start a new business in KC Id suggest shipping as Estes would be easy to put out of business.
