Overall a good quality gym but there arent enough core exercises. Only have one machine to help with a belly and cant feel but to think thats on purpose. (Make people quit as most come because they notice bell size) As there are 2 to 3 machines for every other part of the body. Then the mashie that focuses pecks has been dysfunctional for the past 2 years. This makes me think management doesnt check on machines. Plus the air-conditioning isnt set low enough for work out conditions. Everything else is great but these problems havent been addressed for years.

I have an exercise class there on T and Th. I love the class. The staff is very nice and my fellow friends are great. They have information classes about things happening in the neighborhood.

They have a dynamic water aerobics teacher and class in the evening that accommodate those late sleepers and workers.The pool is deep enough to benefit, but not to deep to worry. The locker room lead the pool, same level, and it does have a disabled stall for those who need it.The staff is very friendly calling you by name. They have a share books and food section. Although I have never used it, they have a play area for your children. No reason not to join us.

Has everything you need for your personal work out routine

This is an excellent place to go to get in shape. They practice COVID-19 safety rules. The staff are friendly and the place is clean and in a good location.

Extremely dirty place. Half or equipment are not in a good condition. I never come here again and absolutely never will swim in a pool or take a shower. Disgusting.

I had a bad experience on billing as I was leaving. However, the manager called me...was very positive and made the effort to fix the issues. I appreciate Matt reaching out and taking care of this.

They are doing as well as could be expected with the covid stuff going on...

An excellent place to work out. The only complaint is a generic complaint and that is that sometimes it’s too busy. I love the staff here. They are always willing to help and do a great job reaching out to patrons. I’m greeted by name by nearly everyone and they are always smiling and happy to see us.

Need better customer service

The family locker room has 1 shared shower and no swimsuit dryer, and is more of a lockable restroom. It is frequently used by single older men who dont want to walk to the mens locker room. Having a son and daughter over the age of five makes using the swimsuit dryer in the mens restroom difficult. I either have to leave my five-year-old daughter in the hallway alone, or send my eight year old son in alone to get our swimsuits spun off.So far classes are great, Ive liked bootcamp, piyo and bodypump. I wont be swimming at this locations anymore since each lifeguard has different rules.

The WORST customer service. After completing my online sign-up, they called me to come in to finish the registration. I went in and waited while the associate talked with his girlfriend about his plans for the night on the phone - though he acknowledged me - and, after about 5 minutes, he said their internet was out so couldnt help me. When I went back the next evening, the associate was very rude, immature, had a hickey on her neck and was flirting with the other associates who were also commenting on her hickey. She didnt say two words to me while she made my cards because of her interactions with the other employees and then just handed me my cards. Id never been there before, didnt tell me how things work, where anything was - so I asked, thinking shed show me. Instead, she grudgingly pointed and said the equipment is that way, the pool is that way, the child care is that way. I dont even want to go back and use my membership. Oh yes, I need to mention theres a safe zone for children sign outside the front door. Thats where someone affiliated with the Y was yelling and cursing at someone on his phone sitting in his car about something when my child and I went in. I could hear him from at least 20 feet away. I found out he was associated with the Y when he came in hollering at the associate making my ID cards and commenting on her hickey. I understand those positions dont pay the best, but some decency, respect and at least a small bit of professionalism would be appreciated. I am also afraid to take my child with me if I do go workout and not waste my monthly membership fee due to the other reviews.

Great spot for a workout. Has a full sized pool. Plenty of cardio machines. Has a shortened basketball court, cycling room, sauna, showers, and more. Could use more weightlifting racks. Can be frustrating during peak hours with so many trying to use machines/weights.

The customer service is bad. I grew up going to this YMCA and recently came in from Chicago to workout a couple of days while I am visiting home. When I walked in to see about the YMCAs nationwide 3 day pass promotion, the front desk clerk, Vivian, first asked for my age and ID. I complied and gave her everything she asked for. Then she tried to charge me $15. As I reached for my wallet to pay, I asked her for the second time, if they had the 3 day pass available at this YMCA. She responded and I quote, We do have the 3 day pass available but not for you. Its only for people serious about joining the YMCA. I put my money back in my pocket, went to ANYTIME FITNESS in Johnson County, and they gave me 5 free passes even though they know I dont live in Kansas. I grew up going to the Providence YMCA since I was 14 years old. I dont know if Ill ever go back.

I just recently joined and feel pretty happy with my family’s membership so far. They keep this location really clean, other members are nice to each other, the pool is always pretty warm and the staff are nice.

I love that place.. sometimes it does get crowded but what do you expect right... its a gym.. i really enjoy going in the AM.

Not a bad facility. But do not give them your credit card information. I have been trying to stop there fraudulent charges for 6 months now. Unfortunately have to take legal action against them at this point.

Called twice. The first time they picked up the phone and hanged up on me and the second a man answered very rudely! He was complaining about not being able to hear me and when I would speak louder he would ask if he could talk to an adult because Im a kid sorry sir but I am not a kid. Very rude phonecall. I was asking a simple question. Regardless if Im a kid or grownup I believe you couldve answered that simple question or ask if I could speak louder in a more polite way.

Child watch is awful - do not bring your kids there. Staff is rude and bitter and uneducated about child care, and quite obviously have no desire to work with kids. Many broken treadmills. Group classes are great - you WILL get in shape, if you go to a class take your kids with you to the side of class or find another family center to go to.

We love the Y and the family atmosphere.

Great place for my family to swim and workout

This place is a joke. Whenever I called up there I always talked to someone who had no idea what they were talking about. So I ended up going up there another bad experience the lady I spoke with is dumber than a box of rocks. She never knows what she is talking about and has an excuse about everything! dont know how half the people up there still have jobs.

Good facility its a ymca not thenother big named well funded gyms like a 24 hour. Agree with some other comments staff needs to be more knowledgeable.

It is cramped...and I tried the daycare one time - for like one hour...agree w/other reviews: crowded and staff not too well-trained or helpful - it was our one and last time. Some of the kids programs are eh - so one household member works out, thats about it.

So were should I begin. I signed up for a family plan a few months ago. Upon signing up they said it was $83.00 a month and they needed a thirty day notice of cancelation. My family and I only used a hand full of times and discovered it was a horrible place to work out for many reasons. Day care hours were unusable. On Sundays daycare was closed but parents still brought kids anyway and the kids just ran around the gym like maniacs. Equipment is old. People working the front desk dont have a care in the world. The list goes on and on like this. So I went to go cancel my membership and they said I had to pay $130 to do so. Apparently I signed a one year contract, they just changed the word contract to agreement. But all of this was not disclosed to me. They are thieves, con-artist and liars or unethical. I highly recommend you dont go here or take your kids here.

They are very rude. They seem like they don’t care about you, let’s dogs and animals run wild. They are very racist to others. Poor service, needs new workers as soon as possible.
