Fantastic gym! If youre downtown looking for a CF gym to drop in to, this is the place... we had two different coaches the days we dropped in and both were great. Highly recommend.

Stopped in at CrossFit on 18th from out of town and had a great experience. Everyone was so welcoming! Very easy to book an online class, and easy to get in contact with. Gym was very nice, in a great area, and incredibly supportive! Definitely will come back if I ever am in KC again!

I cant say enough good things about this gym. The location was perfect, as theres a coffee spot, a market, and food nearby for post-WOD. The space is amazing and has all the CrossFit equipment youd ever need. The workout was well-facilitated by the coach- from the warmup to the WOD. Theres no doubt CrossFit on 18th has a great community too. Id particularly like to shout out Dana, who was extraordinarily kind and accommodating. He went out of his way to find a t-shirt for me, even though their stock was basically nonexistent. Absolutely go to this gym if youre ever in KC.

My husband and I dropped in to the Friday night CrossFit class tonight with Coach Brian and it was such an awesome experience. The workout was a burner, the coaches and members were very welcoming and we both had a great time. We will definitely come back when we are in Kansas City again!!! Id recommend this gym to anyone who is in KC!!

Whether you are interested in getting stronger, losing weight, or making friends, CrossFit on 18th can do it all. Anytime you bring a crew of people together to work ridiculously hard, good things happen. CrossFit on 18th (CF18) workouts often include functional exercises and exercises that mimic movements in my everyday life. Functional movements, such as squats, kettlebell swings, or overhead presses have improved my agility, balance, and flexibility. Did I say I am 59 and lost 25lbs right off the bat? Workouts at CF18 have reduced my risk for injury and improved my quality of life. Along the way the friends I am making will be lifelong. We work together, we sweat together, we challenge and push each other to the limit. Of course none of this happens without the incredible dedicated, knowledgeable, and motivating staff that have made our success - their success. Thanks CF18!

Love this gym. I’ve been coming for about a year now and still enjoy it. Before I started coming to the gym, I had always loved cardio, and dreaded lifting. The coaches, especially Brian and John, were fantastic at showing me the correct form for each lift. They are also great about giving you some added encouragement during a tough workout. I’ve gotten more comfortable with lifting, thanks to them. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone. Plus, each class is unique! You will hardly, if ever, do the same workout twice.

I have been one who struggles with workout motivation. CrossFit 18 was highly recommended by my father. So I decided to give it a try. I was motivated with the group experience and encouragement. I love it my body was sore for a few days however it has been such a pleasure to see the results. Thanks Dana and CrossFit 18

Love this gym... John, Brian and the other coaches are great to work with; the staff consistently produces quality programming for experienced and beginners in CrossFit. Theres always variety, an emphasis on form and you are exhausted when youre done. You will hit your fitness goals with this team. Ive visited a lot of CrossFit gyms across the country and the location, the atmosphere and the training at CrossFit on 18th is top notch. Highly recommended!

I was pretty intimidated when a friend suggested that I try ‘boot camp’ with her. Hesitant, I went anyway. I am soo glad I found this gem. The people and Michael were incredibly welcoming and encouraging! I will be back after a day off 😉

I have been coming to this gym since 2011. I Initially joined because it was conveniently located, Ive stayed for 8 years because of the incredible community created by John and Brian and all of the trainers at CF18. Incredible place, great coaching, great people. Highly recommended.

This place helps keeps me healthier and happier. The fact that a guy like me with absolutely no athletic background (and 40+ pounds to lose) when I first dropped in has now averaged 4-5 workouts a week here consistently for over 4 years and counting? That says about everything you need to know about the coaching and the community keeping you coming back for more. Coaches John, Brian, Dana, Michael, Kent, Miriam, Cara, Brett, Lauren and Jess -- theyre all the absolute best!

Had never worked out before seriously. My buddy got me into Crossfit Bootcamp and I have been doing it for 3 years now. Love the coaches, and the people who attend. It never gets boring and it keeps me in great shape.

Dropped in here while in KC for the night and glad we did. It was really convenient to the AirBnB so walking there was easy. The workout was fun and quick and the accessory snatch work was great as well. Class was big and everyone knew how to move throughout the tight space. Really loved that they had a second coach around to help out, that was a huge plus! The owner, John, is so nice and a great coach. He was thorough with us and really great about modifications with injuries (not me, my friend and another member). It looked like the members were a pretty close knit group which is great, but they didnt really make us feel welcome. Not a big deal but it always helps when traveling and going some place new. The facility is really clean and on the higher end of CrossFit gyms that I have been to (coach uses a microphone, separate bathrooms, showers, multiple Crossover Symmetry, all kind of equipment, etc). They dont do a shirt purchase for a drop in but it was super easy to register and pay online - and I love that convenience. (Would of loved to of bought a shirt though). I will definitely go back if I travel to KC again. Coaching, facility, location and programming are on point!

Finally decided to make the decision to become serious about working out again, came down to Crossfit on 18th. 56lbs lost and 6 months later I am stronger, healthier, slimmer and happier than ever. Coach Kent, Dana and John have been a massive help. 10/10 recommend to anyone considering.

I joined CF18 about 2 years ago with both bootcamp and CrossFit being totally foreign concepts to me. I think I’ve stuck with it because the classes very seldom repeat, keeping things fresh. I Initially found their jargon and movements to be pretty intimidating, but all the trainers and even other members where eager to help, explain and encourage. The gym has a wide variety of fineness level and aged members. The bootcamp style classes are largely cardio focused and a good starting point. The CrossFit classes are more weight intensive and advanced. Regardless of your starting point. I’d highly recommend you give them a shot for a ever changing workout option.

I was traveling into KC and dropped in for a class. Great community, very welcoming, and a good WOD. I honestly am going to drop in again tomorrow for one last class before I have to leave to head home. Thanks again for a great sweat!!
