Have brought both of my cars to Duke and Bobs for several issues, and have always had great service. Brian is the person Ive interacted with mainly. Very clear with his instructions and explanations, very simple with getting the job done (just leave it and pick it up tomorrow!), and professional at all times. Highly recommend.

Incredibly honest folks, fixed my car after I got it apart to fix a wheel bearing and was unable to put it back together. Have been going ever since. Always explain what the issue is and what needs done to fix it.

Duke and bobs is amazing. Ive found myself in 2 car pinches that theyve helped me out of, and they even kept me under budget. This is a reliable gem of a shop. I had a heck of a time finding a good shop in the city, and i happened upon this shop. Total game changer as far as city garages go. This is officially the only shop Ill go to in the city.

I will never take my car anywhere besides Duke and Bob’s for anything — not for discounts somewhere else, not for a simple state safety inspection, not for anything. They are always professional and honest. Brian always takes the time to explain exactly what they’re doing and why. Just today he stayed 20 minutes after their closing time to give me back my car when I was late getting there and when I had an extra question. I took my car to a different place for a safety inspection and was told I needed to fix 8 things, for $2600. I took it to Duke and Bob’s for a second opinion; I actually only needed to fix 2 things and it was only $500. They are simply the best and I will never go anywhere else!

SEE BRIAN(the mechanic) there is no Duke or Bob. Ever since I moved into UMKC 5 years ago this has been where Ive taken my car a 2008 fusion which started at 90,000 when I got it used, and now has 165,000. Theyve redone all my brakes, as well as frame work on my 2005 Ranger, great price, friendly, very fast. Had my car back the same day. Also they have free warrantys.

We went in for car inspections after moving to KC. They tried to tell us all 4 calipers needed to be replaced, and we needed new brake pads. We had the calipers replaced within the last 2 years so we took it somewhere else. No need to replace the calipers just the brake pads. They tried to get us to spend over $1,000 on unnecessary repairs. Id recommend KC complete auto instead.
