Was nice for 1st visit he and wifey were nice and he seemed knowledgeable of my vehicle and reasonably priced. If he didnt know how to repair hell tell you and explain where and how if possible to get fixed.

Ive had mechanics mess me over on prices and what actually needs to be fixed (throwing shade at the car place up the street from cortez that ripped me off on engine work that they knew wasnt going to fix my problem, the engine actually needed to be replaced, instead they were fixing miscellaneous stuff that didnt have anything to do with my problem) but yeah, Cortez is the man

I will never...EVER take any car I have that isnt under full factory warranty to anybody but Luis Cortez first. If a repair is needed that I gotta pay for out of my pocket I want Luis to check it out first because he the best and most honest mechanic I know. I have never been disappointed when he has done work for me over the past 20 years. His work is as good or better than dealerships or other shops that left me feeling ripped off for repairs that were overpriced or not even needed. If you are looking for a great mechanic someone who is good at what they do. Also has the best prices for repairs look no further very knowledgeable at what he does and finishest work in a timely manner. Replaced the pitman arm on my 2004 Chevy Tahoe I tell you what so far so good.

It was okay, I don’t think he did a thorough enough check on my car, it was 50 for the diagnosis and he checked it in less than 30 mins. Really not satisfied, honestly I would NOT recommend .
