The overall experience was simply phenomenal. Spoke to one of their reps (Josh) who took the time to share the tire options, reviews and pricing. Took less than an hour to replace all four tires. Would highly recommend this Discount Tires location to anyone seeking outstanding customer service, good variety of tires and reasonable price.

We stopped by Discount Tire on Tuesday because the check engine light was on saying bad sensor. They were very friendly and checked all 4 tires to see which one had a bad sensor. They got it in right away and since I had originally purchased the tires from them they also balanced and rotated them for free. Everyone was exceptionally friendly. The sensor was $65 and when the guy gave me back the car he said, “the light is still on but it should go off within 15 minutes. If it doesn’t just come back sometime.” It still said low tire pressure. It never went off and the bad sensor light came back on a short time later. This is very frustrating because I work long hours and don’t have the time to “come back.” I had taken Tuesday off for some errands and appointments and was delighted they could get us in but overall dissatisfied with the results.

This is the only location I go to. Josh, whom I believe is the manager is amazing. He’s helped me out completely and didn’t even have too. He’s a true blessing that really puts forth positive energy into world around him. He’s the reason I won’t go anywhere else but here for my tire issues and needs. A forever customer.

Very polite employees. I popped my tire in downtown KC. They were first concerned for safety of people in the car, then did their best to get me the tire I needed. Definitely suggest their tire warranty, its so useful!

These grifters sold me a tire I didnt need. I towed my car to Discount Tires because my girlfriend had a flat. They said I had TWO tires that need replaced (after they tried to sell my girlfriend four) when I only had one flat tire. I wasnt there to look at the tire so I had to take the mechanics word over the phone. He LIED to me and there was nothing wrong with the other tire. I knew something wasnt right because very rarely does anyone get TWO flat tires at the same time (I told them to put both tires in the trunk so I could look at them when she got home).Im never going to use this place again. They take advantage of people who dont know anything about cars. They tried to sell my girlfriend FOUR tires when she only had one flat. The mechanic lied to me over the phone and said the other tire was completely damaged too. Total rip off.

Best place! Had a flat this morning and the guys worked with me. They were so so so honest and straightforward. Really respectful and compassionate Tyler who did intake was very professional and John who handled my inspection and walked me through pricing was compassionate and informative about the car I have had for 17 years. Thank you so much! I will be back!

Despite a couple issues that Im chalking up to communication errors, the service here is fantastic. I feel heard, and like Josh and his team go out of their way to offer professional, kind, and quick service. After the way Ive been treated during this experience, Ill not be going to any other tire shop if I can help it.

Came in with a screw in my tire, had a 4:30 appointment was fixed and gone in under an hour, no charge! Big O Tires told me it wasn’t fixable, tried to sell me 4 tires since my car is AWD I couldn’t just replace one. Discount Tire said if I had to replace it, I could do just the rear. I will definitely be buying my tires here from now on, great people!

I generally never write reviews, but feel that my experience today deserves one. I suspected that I had a nail in my tire, and stopped in without an appointment. I arrived at a time that wasnt busy, and was in and out in roughly 35 minutes. Colton and DJ were both very kind, courteous, and professional. My tire was plugged at no charge, and the rest of my tires were checked as well. I just want to say thank you both for making my experience an excellent one, I really appreciate it.

Had an appointment with Sams Club up the street. They did not have my tire in stock and told me my rim was bent so I was sol. They had me calling scrap yards looking for a rim. Made one call to Discount tires and they had my rim and tire in stock. I was in and out in 45 mins with no hassle. Love savers

OUTSTANDING!!!! Arrived for my 915 appt. about 855. Waited all of 30 seconds. for them to greet me.They were out of stock of the tire I ordered. They upgraded me to a better tire at no extra charge. We were in and out in less than 20 mins. Great experience! Great service all the way around!!

These guys used to be 5 star service. I drive a tow truck and needed an air check. Pulled up. The young manager saw me pull up. Didnt come over. They only have three cars in the ports. I watched all three of them cars leave still no one came over. Young manager made eye contact with me four maybe five times. Still no one came over. Finally after almost 30 minutes one of the employees comes up and tells me my tires are too big to put air in. Wish I would have known that 30 minutes ago.

Luckily, they were not busy when I got there and they were able to put a new tire on rim, put spare back in place and I was out of there in about 30 minutes. Great service!

Overall the experience is good. My only suggestion would be custom service. Its not that its bad, but the priority needs to be on the person actually in the store as opposed to the person on the phone. Maybe more help?

The guys at this location are awesome! I bought some cheaper tires that didnt last as long as I would have liked back in 2017. BUT, they went ahead and credited me for the full price of those tires and applied to the new more expensive tires. Instead of $450, I only paid $240. (New tires were $160 each, plus mounting and warranty)Definitely recommend this Discount tire.

Young men that worked there were very friendly and helpful they did just as I asked, prices were great when I get I chance I going to go back and get two more wheels and tires. Work was done quickly I didnt have a long wait at all

This is the best place to get tire care and tires in KC! I went there a while back and was told I did NOT need tires. Name me any other company in this industry with that honesty! WOW! They said I had some more life in the tires. I was blown away. So now after many miles later I do need tires and I am going there tomorrow to buy 4 brand new tires. It is so refreshing to get auto care from HONEST people. I wont go any place but here! Great leadership great employees!

I have been to this location many times just for random tire pressure checks and a couple times for repair. The staff is always SO friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We had an especially great experience today that proved that the staff is also very caring. If you need the services they offer, this is the place you need to be!

Not once but EVERYTIME I GO THERE ITS AN ISSUE !!!1st time - lost my key to my aftermarket wheels. My car was 40 miles away getting worked on and the shop needed the key to remove the wheel.2nd time - didnt properly balance my tires. Found that out when the car shook uncontrollably at 60mph. I had to pay another shop to do it correctly.3rd time- after spending over $1200 online and setting an appointment my car didnt get into a bay until 4 hours later !Im done withem

Have been going here for years. Generally good but last 3 experiences not so much. Currently been waiting for free air check for 20 minutes. Finally got greeted. I have purchased (7) sets of tires here. Will explore options next time. Moving on now.....

Bought 4 tires online and was told to walk in after 5 to get the tires put on my car. When traffic slowed me down and I had trouble getting my spare tire out on and was going to be arriving 5 minutes after their 6pm closing time they refused to service my car today and I’ll have to try again tomorrow. I may revise my rating but so far I’m not fond of the customer service. I should have been told to walk in as soon as possible because they at 6 no matter what.

I called up there. They were busy but had time. They got me in within 25 minutes. I sat there for 30 minutes maybe less. I already knew what I wanted. They did a great job. I will go back if needed.

I will NEVER buy tires anywhere else so long as this company is in business!! I bought 4 tires awhile back, and my dad talked me into the warranty and the roadside hazard package the gentleman was offering. It was a lil outta my price range at the time, but I got it anyways. Well, today I NEEDED it! I somehow managed to get a nail in my sidewall, so I went in to get it checked out...and on the spot I was told that not only that tire, but another tire that I had purchased BOTH needed to be replaced. INSTANTLY, my heart dropped, untill he told me they would be replaced for free!! And on top of it all, no long wait!! The guys were like a pit crew!! They were fast and efficient!! Thank you so much John, it means the world to my family...you kept us safe!! BUY THE WARRANTY!! Its a godsend!!

Michael helped us immediately! Got us out of the rain after our car got a flat and we were on a spare. It pays to have the insurance on the tire too. They found a nail in another, and fixed it too! I only had to pay $11.50 out of pocket! Thank you DISOCUNT TIRE. YALL are a life saver!

The Discount Tire reps have always been transparent, honest and helpful. Personally, Ive always scheduled appointments and the service is always prompt and the communication is great. Prices are competitive and the warranty is outstanding like Costco, but I prefer the Discount Tiress ability to schedule appointments online and get in/out for rotations and maintenance. Highly recommend!

This has to be the biggest joke in the Kansas City area. Told me they could fix a flat that had a screw in it. Told tire had to much wear but only has 8000 miles on it. They said take it to the guy doing air. Another lame excuse. It was under 15 lbs and couldnt fill it up. So I put on the doughnut in the parking lot. A custome4 told me 5hat doesnt sound like them. The guy left and was in awe over their customer service.

As long as you schedule online for an appointment they get you in and done right away. Even if you have a problem and need to stop in without an appointment they will squeeze you in hopefully in a timely manner. The office was buzzing busy.

I always have exceptional service at all Discount Tire. Today they solved a mystery for me. I thought my pressure gauge in my tire was defective, when I apparently have had a small nail in it for the past 5 months. They patched it up for free and rotated my tires. I HIGHLY recommend.

Cheap tires for a reason! Just go to Wal Mart. They seem to have caused a metal rattling sound under my truck. Of course the guy in charge says the racks dont hit there so I should take it somewhere to get my exhaust looked at. I will take my business somewhere else. Ill make sure everyone I know hears about the lack of service I received. I only wanted them to take a look maybe try to tighten things you did touch. My vehicle has mysteriously gained an exhaust problem within 24 hrs. Of having tires put on. The manager Climbing under my truck and pushing on my exhaust didnt fix the rattling sound ( of course). Extremely disappointed and unsatisfied

Fast friendly and earned my business through past goodwill. Theyve fixed a few flat tires through the years free, which is an awesome service they offer. Wasnt repairable this time around so 4 new tires it is...quick and easy, in and out.

Really terrible! I purchased a set of winter tires for Discount Tire to install on a second set of wheels. I had them place the other tires/wheels in the trunk. Obviously the trunk wouldnt close, instead of asking me what Id like to do, the guys slammed the trunk 20-30 times!Their negligent actions resulted in my trunk being damaged, the pull down motor became jammed, and the trunk power down is now broken. The trunk itself is also bent and sits higher on one side! To top it off, everyone ran away once my car was done, they obviously broke the trunk, and wouldnt even look me in the eye. Mike was nice enough to appear on request, but nobody really cared. I had to use tie downs to just drive home safely!Mike the manager is good to work with, but the young guys in the shop are being pushed to the limit! They dont care about your car! Im now having to work with their insurance Fleet Response to get my car fixed! Beware!

I wanted to purchase one tire for a defective tire that I had on my truck. I asked if they would work with me on price because im a first responder and do not make much money I was quoted two different prices at two different stores ultimately paying $140 to $150 they were not willing to work with me in any way I am also former military I went to big o tires and got that done for 96 bucks one tire mount and balance avoid discount tires theyre all about the money.

Super fast & great service

Got a text hat my car was done 1.5 hours longer than the quoted time, walked in and got the keys. They hand me the receipt and i go to look for my vehicle. It is still sitting on a half flat spare tire. Three new tires with one in the trunk. I go back in and they say a bolt got cross threaded. I guess they had no plans to tell me that. Not only that, but they broke one of the other lug bolts. Did not bother telling me when I got my key and didnt even air up the spare so I could get to the other car shop. Worst $700 I have ever spent.

Gosh they are friendly here! Ive visited twice and both times every person I worked with was very polite, knowledgeable, and had a sense of urgency. Both times my car was ready before the time they provided which is a testament to how hard these staff work to get us in and out on a chore that none of us particularly enjoy. If youre frustrated with a flat, these folks will make an unhappy experience into a pleasant one.

My tire was completely flat. I stopped at two gas stations to fill the tire, just so I can make it here. I knew of this shop from passing it during daily commutes. Immediately, I was greeted by one of the friendly customer service representatives (I cannot remember his name). He was knowledgeable about his stock and prices. He was confident, honest, and overall pleasant. My front two tires were in terrible condition (2/32 on both). One of the rear tires was flat and the other had okay tread quality. I knew that I needed the front tires replaced, but I was going to get it done somewhere else. However, due to the above and beyond service I received, I decided to get all four changed here. I was in and out within a hour from inspection to picking up my keys. I would highly recommend!

The customer service reps were well dressed, knowledgeable, courteous, professional, and looked me in the eye as we spoke. I usually get my tires at NTB, Walmart, or Goodyear as a last resort. Absolutely loved my 1st experience at Discount Tire. The music was the 1st thing that caught my attention. I appreciate the genre of music. 2nd was the way I was approached by the salesperson. Not pushy which made me comfortable. I unfortunately dont remember the young mans name but I told him I like the music and he took that opportunity to give me a little information on the owner of tge company. I set up a time to come Saturday morning and get new tires. I definitely will recommend people to this business.

Grateful customer. Discount Tire have always placed their customers first to make it right, even when mistakes are made.. Brought in two lawn mower tires the day prior to get new tires put on, was supposed to have them complete by the next day when they opened, and when I arrived the tires were not ready. Discount Tire immediately got the job done and did not charge me for the inconvenience - appreciate them making it right.

Always great customer service! The people in the sales area seem knowledgeable and try their best to get you the tire that works for you. Since they dont work on commission, theres no pressure. Service after the sale is also amazing. You can always swing by to get a pressure check, or make an appointment for a tire rotation. I always choose Discount Tire whenever I can, and theyve never let me down.
