New manager Benji was wonderful! Because baby the manager you had after Jeremy terrible, horrible,and rotten to the core! Benji you to be a district manager if he is not already! Knows how to speak with people! And take care of the situation! I hope he never leaves! Because if he does I know Im done with this Express location! Kudos to Benji! Ps Elena needs some customer service training, because clearly she has never had none! Seems like she has urgency to provide service to any customer! Please speak with her asap! Other than that hope I dont have to go back for the same issue!

Yesterday on 8/24/21 @ 7:30am, I was the 2nd person that arrived to your store for an oil change. I was not told that your company did not have a oil filter on hand for my vehicle. I had to inquire about my SUV more than once wondering why it was taking so long, I didnt get out of your place until 10:40am and that was ridiculous. Had Ive been told my filter was not available, I could have came back the next day. Moving forward, next time check for availability on all parts before a customers car is put up on the rack.

I went to this place 3 times in 2 days to get something simple as a tire repair from a small hole on the side wall that was later found and repaired by another tire shop. I had 2 different mechanics work on this including getting a final answer from the shops supervisor that there is no hole, that dont see a hole and that I need to get my tire sensor checked. But Im telling him the tire is literally deflating so its definitely the tire and not the sensor. I was in this shop an hour each time I had to go back. I finally after a week and continuously airing up my tire twice a day I goes to Tobys tire and they got me in, found the problem, fixed it all in a matter of 15 mins. I will never patronize this business again! Ryan was pleasant, that was the only good thing.

Dropped off car to have the brakes inspected. It was going to be more expensive than other shops had quoted so I refused service and said Id just pick it up...they said give them an hour and theyd put it back together so I could pick it up...went 2 hours later car was still in shop with all 4 wheels off. No one at the desk, I had to go in the shop to track down the desk clerk sitting in the shop. Says the car wasnt done and she didnt know when it was going to be done... it was like pulling teeth to get her to go in and ask. Came back out and told me they were pulling it out now as Im looking at car through the shop window up on a lift with all 4 tires off. I also witnessed the shop manager get into a yelling match with s long term customer over a $5 stripped oil plug. They have room for improvement.

Adjusting previous less than ideal review born of frustration. Vehicle issue reoccurring on drive home after acting fine during time at shop. Owner had someone call after hours. They discussed difficulties with intermittent issues & made sure I understood what was happening and that I was happy with unrelated work I had them perform. Always get fair treatment and price from this place.

After being quoted for close to $3,000 at my dealership, I brought my car to Calverts for a second opinion. They rediagnosed the problem and concluded it was something different with a much much cheaper fix. My car has been doing great ever since!

Overall a very pleasant experience. The service was very fast and they did a great job. Customer service was very nice and they gave me updates as to the time frame in which they would be finished with my car. So I definetley recommend them for brakes.

I was pleased with the final service results. However I had to wait all day for my service. I watched customer before and after my arrival leave. I was there from a little before 9 am until nearly 2:40 pm. My wait was way too long to.

They completed the assessment of the conditions of my tire and gave me clear advice on what it needed with the exact cost. I agreed to have them complete the repair. It was done in short time. The staff were all professional and cheerful. They even charged up my cell phone for me while I waited.

- This past Saturday, I called at 3:15pm to see if they would be able to do an alignment on my car. I was told that they would be able to provide same day service.- I arrived to the store at 3:45pm and stood at the desk for 10 minutes before I was helped.- I was the only customer. There were no customers in the store while I was there.- The front desk employee immediately denied me service before I could tell him the service I needed.- I was told to leave my car and I would be charged a fee for my car to sit in their shop for two day.- I was rudely dismissed for the store.- My brother came in shortly after me and waited for 5 minutes and was never acknowledged.- We took our service two blocks down the street at a busier Big “O” Tires.- Big “O” Tires was extremely welcoming!- Big “O” Tires was able to perform an alignment on my car in 45 minutes.

I was please when Calvert’s was able to get my car in for an oil change and MO state inspection on the same day. However, things quickly changed after checking my car into the shop. After calling me confused about what kind of oil should be put in my vehicle and then telling me that my vehicle failed the state inspection for a reason that I had already had fixed no more than two months prior I sought out a second opinion. It became clear that Calverts only wanted to upcharge me for services that my car did not actually need. One day later my car passed the state inspection with no additional service is needed at a different body shop. I do not recommend Calverts.

When I moved to Belton, I was glad to finally find one here.But when the Coronavirus Pandemic contributed to THEM shutting down in 2020, Im now back dealing with the Wornall Rd facility. And Im proud to say their service is just as good as it always was.Ill just continue there as no other place thats close by gives me the money saving coupons AND continual good service

Took my vehicle in for brake pads they put brake pads on said I need a rotors also the manager reassured me even if I didn’t replace The rotors I can get these expensive brake pads it should keep noise down for a while as soon as I left the next day my vehicle is still making the same noise it was making when I brought it in.Took vehicle to the Raytown store they said that my break pads was not even touching One rotor and that I needed to replace the rotors. Wentsomewhere else and got rotors put on brand new Noise still was coming from the same front end when I went back up there they told me that they had to put new brake pads on again and all this happened within one weekThey did put The brake pads on with no charge

2007 toyota sienna. Performed rear brake job. No grease on pad abutment clips, cross threaded lug, failed to mention to customer the state of the parking brake shoes. If you want amateur level work for insane prices (they get thier parts from the oreilly down the street, and double or quadruple the price), then this is the place for you.

I will be back at the shop on Wornall Ave. I have used a couple of other of their other shops and they have tried to take advantage of me by saying that my car needed a major repair, so I took it to a mechanic shop that I trust and said that my car didn’t need the repair that I was told it needed. I will drive the extra distance to go to a place that I can trust

My brake pedal was going within 2 inches of the floor and they said I needed to replace the master cylinder at a cost of $800.00. After it was replaced the pedal continued to go to the floor. I took it back and they said that the brake pedal was fine and that it was the proper distance from the floor, and by the way my car needed brake drums, wheel cylinders etc. I asked why that wasnt mention before and they said they did not want to overwhelm me with repairs. The mechanic (?) became very defensive at that point.I took the car up the street to a brake shop for a second opinion. They took the brake drums off- inspected the system and determined that no repairs are needed. Be very careful if you use Calverts Express-Wornall.

MELLISSA has a very very nasty ATTITUDE SHE’S rude and lacks customer service skills. Went in for $22 oil change and a brakes check, ended up spending $800 on some part I didn’t even know were a problem. Parts always over $100 never affordable. And you can’t get your car back till you pay them. Tyler is really cool and he made sure that I drive safely! I now have an up to date break system ♥️

CUSTOMERS BEWARE they will try and scam you especially if you are not semi knowledgeable about car repair. I should have read the reviews before coming to this place!I had the car checked out prior so that way I wouldnt be tricked into fixing something that is not broken. I had the struts and shocks done less than 7 months ago, brand new brake pads, tire rods put on 2 days ago and 4 brand new tires put on less than 24 hours before having a wheel alignment done. Two mechanics confirmed nothing is wrong with my vehicle all I needed was a wheel alignment. I get a call from Tyler the manager and he states that I need new struts, and the tires are going bad I tell that cant be right after I tell him what I just had fixed, well they tried to trick me into spending $700.Update: I went down the street to a reputable business Goodyear and they did my alignment with no problem, was there a issue with my brakes, tires, or struts and he said No everything looks good I just needed an alignment.DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PLACE RUN AWAY AS FAST AS YOU CAN!

This place is probably the most honest and helpful car service/repair shop I have ever visited. For example, I went in a while ago and asked that my air filter be changed. They told me the current one was as good as new so there was no need to change it. This isnt the only example. They are always respectful, quick, honest, and reasonable in their pricing. Its the only place Ill go for an inspection, etc., now.

Worst experience ever! If I could rate it less I would! I went in for a simple oil change and to top fluids. Once I leave I decide to check my dashboard and my screen is still showing a low percentage of oil. So I go back to this location the next morning and speak to the “supervisor” and show him a picture of the used oil after it was checked by two of my family members. I told the supervisor this and he said that it was clean, I told him to show me the new filter and refused to do so. I asked him for a refund or to do the service again based on the fact that the service I paid for was not done correctly! And he said he didn’t have to comply with what I was asking, how is this customer service or caring for customer satisfaction? Basically just paid to sit in their filthy lobby. Definitely never going back!

Nice staff. I like that the technician working on your vehicle actually takes you through the front to back inspection and will answer any questions you have. You wont be charged for anything you are not having done that day. Need better chairs in the lobby, 4 hours on hard plastic killed my back.

I went to Calverts for an inspection, which I had set up an appointment for. I arrived 30 minutes before my appointment and didnt leave until an hour and a half after my appointment time.But thats not where my gripe is. They stated that my vehicle had failed inspection due to my front ball joints being shot. They said the repairs would total $800.I took my truck to my mechanic who gave it a thorough look through, and he said nothing was wrong with my truck. So I took it to another shop to get it inspected. It passed with no problems.My next step will be filing a complaint to MO State Highway Patrol.Dont waste your money at this place; they will definitely try to rip you off! Youve been warned!

When I showed up to my appointment and told them I was there for an oil change I got a VERY unprofessional loud sigh, like somehow bringing my business here was an interruption or inconvenience to their day ! Then was told “ you might be here until 6, because were absolutely slammed “ what’s the point of an appointment then ?! The wait wouldn’t have been an issue had I not been greeted so nastily . SCAM ARTISTS they told me 4-$500 to fix my brakes. I took it to another shop and they quoted me $150 for parts and labor. Calverts told me the part cost $130. I called autozone and they said $65. They try to upsell you on everything and they say they cant work on it unless youre getting everything fixed.

The people at Calverts Auto Express on Wornall are friendly, knowledgeable & efficient. They always explain exactly what the car needs in terms that are easy for a non-mechanic to comprehend. They keep me updated on parts & service progress and return the vehicle in a timely manner. The prices are reasonable. On occasions when I am unable to get someone to take me to Auto Express to pick up the vehicle, they send a car to pick me up.Jennifer, at the front desk, always makes me feel welcome. Rick and the other mechanics do excellent work. Id recommend Auto Express to anyone.

The WORST car service I have ever received.First, the place is nasty. They offer coffee, but I wouldnt touch that coffee pot with gloves on. Maybe my Christmas present to them should be some dish soap.Second, while it didnt take long for them to get my car into the shop (I showed up around 9:10 am), it took forever to fix it. I am talking about getting out a broken lug bolt out of my tire. I got my car back at 5 pm. I get it - some things take a long time to fix, and things can go wrong, but there was zero communication on the matter. Nothing.Third, I left my car at the shop and asked them to give me a call back when it is done. I got no call back when it was done. I had to call in, and then they told me it was done. Who knows how longs its been sitting there? Simply put - my time wasted.Fourth, I asked them, once they put my spare tire on, to check the tire pressure in all tires. I come to get the car, the spare tire they put on was at 18 pounds, instead of required 31. I guess that was too much to ask.Fifth, overpriced. I think they base the bill on the time the car spends at their shop. Im sorry, I didnt know they charge for parking. No wonder no one called back when the car was done.Conclusion: Im never going to take my car in for another service, unless I am just desperate.

The service went well, though incredibly expensive. Im learning that its never the parts that are expensive, its the labor aspect. The three stars are in regard to the customer service exhibited by the front desk coordinator, Christina. She wants absolutely nothing to do with her job. Or she has no problem showing that she would much rather be somewhere else. Babygirl was just handing me papers saying sign this, sign here and is not opening her mouth to explain anything to me in regard to what I am signing. I had to ask her! She wasnt pleasant at all. Having to pay for car repairs is already stressful enough, so it would be nice for the first point of contact to have some form of a cheerful disposition.

I moved to the Metro area (KS side) in June of 2014 after 56 years in another community on the MO side. I took a chance on Calverts to service my car, on Shawnee Mission Parkway, and that was when I met Markus for the first time. Immediately, i knew he was my guy.He is attentive to detail, and has excellent customer service skills. He reminded me of the the mechanic I used back home.I went back about a month later, and was told he had been moved to another shop, on State Ave., so I went there. Then he was moved to Wornall, and after that, to Raytown, then back to his current location on Wornall. Ive always been able to find him. I trust him to do what he says he will do, and consider him a friend.Mike

I trust their opinion and actually did not buy 2 of the used cars. The one car I did buy is my car I have now. Was told that my service would take 1 hour. I indicated I was cutting it close on time, but that I would go ahead with the service. 2 hours later, having received no update while I was WAITING IN THEIR LOBBY, I inquired as to how much longer it would take. They realized they didnt have the part, and didnt tell me. They sent someone out to buy it, who then went to a place that also didnt have it, and they didnt tell me. They sent him to another place, were waiting on him to get back but it was taking longer than expected, and they STILL didnt tell me. It took 3 hours total and they didnt even bother to apologize for the inconvenience (or perhaps even the lack of communication!). Terrible customer service. Will never return.

Marcus, is a true professional, My car ignition key kept spinning when i tried to start the car, all light on the dash lit up but i was unable to start the car . Called Marcus and he told me to tow the car in, also recommended a great tow company KIDDS Towing. Marcus called me to tell me what was wrong, told me he could get a part in Monday (this was Saturday when i talked to him) . received a call Monday morning from Kristina saying my car was ready to be pick up WOW unbelievable service. when picking up the car the mechanic showed me the broken part and how he replaced steering column with a used part. saving me money. This is why I bring my 6 cars to be taken care of by the Team at CALVERTS !!!

Bought the cheapest new tire they sold. The very next day after picking up my car, I hit a normal KC pothole and it blew out my tire. Ripped it in several places and it was irreparable. I hit the pothole going from a full stop at a stop light. It wasn’t on warranty, $100 down the drain. I would not buy this tire, I don’t think they should be selling it at all. Very dangerous for interstate driving.

Ive been going here regularly for many years. Its great for an oil change. It used to be great for everything, but the past couple of years its taken several visits to fix one problem. They wont tell you something is wrong if its not! They just might not fix it. And its definitely cheaper than a dealership, even if it takes a few trips!

Waited 4 hours for brakes and paid $400, left feeling scammed and horrible customer service. I had two for my kids with me and was told a 2 hour wait, after waiting 3 hours I had to ask about the hold up even through I waited in the wait area. I was told they were waiting on the parts. Will spread the world to stay away from this location and I also will never return. Wish I checked the reviews before hand. Also dont believe they honor the brake special that they advertise, false advertising.
