We love Liam Porter’s Office! We’ve been with them for several years and have auto, home, and renters insurance with them. Every time I call they are so helpful and responsive, especially Lauren. They helped me toe my car this summer and had great follow up to make sure the car got to where it needed to go. 10/10 recommend!

I have used State Farm for renters insurance for two years now; going on three years. Their prices are affordable and thats the bottom line when it comes to renters insurance. I have never had to use it, but I am glad that I havent. I know they will be there when I need them. Hopefully we dont need them. Liam and his entire team are an absolute delight to work with. Extremely knowledgeable about the intricacies of insuring my converted camper van, highly attuned to ask all the right questions on exactly what insurance fits my situation, all while being very friendly and courteous. I liked how they handled my inquiry to insure my van so much that I moved all my insurance coverage for house and additional vehicles to them. Leading into this I was nervous and questioned my decisions because of all the steps I had to go through, especially with insurance. I obtained a policy with Liam because all my neighbors on Nextdoor recommended him and his office is half a mile from my home. I figured he would be aware of any special issues in the neighborhood.Three months later, the area experiences a bunch of flooding. My basement is filled with water ruining my furnace, hot water heater, washer & dryer. I submit a claim and have to call the adjuster. He informs me that I will not be covered, and I should have bought flood insurance.So I am stuck paying $10,000 in damages to make my home livable again even though I have already paid thousands to State Farm in premiums.I am upset because Liam did not offer me government issued flood insurance. It seems a no brainer in retrospect as this insurance can be as little as $20/mo and Im finding out the area is known for having flooding issues.
