Smithereen is great. They honor the unlimited call backs when you sign up for the annual membership; we had some wasps in between schedule treatment dates and someone came out within a day or two to inspect for us. Monty has been our service provider the last two times. Super friendly, goes above and beyond to ensure all problems are mitigated, even ones I hadn’t thought of or requested. I appreciate their great service!

We had an opossum in our drop ceiling and could not get it out. David at Smithereen worked really hard to humanely capture the big guy and safely take him out of the house. He was professional, courteous and best of all, showed up when he said he would. GOLD STAR!

About 2-3 weeks ago, my tenant reported seeing some mice and roaches. I hired Smithereen and they had someone out the next day. Recently my tenant reported seeing one roach so I called Smithereen back. David, the technician, showed up and fully assessed the situation and gave a full explanation of the new products they can use and how some over the counter bug products are actually making my problem worse. We found “an adolescent rat” (OMG!) dead in the basement. Apparently it was partying hard at the bait stations. David reset some stations, applied other inside and outside treatments and talked about the need for termite treatment. So far, I’m very happy with David and Smithereen. I recommended them to my neighbors.

This is the second inspection/service that I’ve received from Smithereen and I must say that I have been blown away by both the customer service as well as the knowledge and great attitudes of the techs that have come out. Brian was incredible, very quick to find the root of the problem and didn’t waste time taking care of things. Monty had come the first time around and was also very helpful, pointing out things that I could do to better protect the house. I was also able to get appointments immediately on both times that I’d requested them. I wanted to wait to see if their service would be as good past the first time and I was not disappointed. Very glad I found them!

I have been a customer of Smithereen for a lot of years. This past visit by David Easter, Technician and Jason Martinez, Branch Manager was outstanding. Thats not to say that David doesnt do a great job by himself.But the two of them together are amazing. I have no problem recommending Smithereen and their employees to anyone.

I absolutely love David Easter, kind professional, understanding, Ive had 2 treatments so far and already way less bugs. We have been plagued with all kinds of critters living under our porch deck. Now its a large raccoon.The gentleman that set up the traps explained clearly what needed to be done.We look forward to being rid of the raccoon.Getting rid of the porch deck is next.

Wow! Good work! I watched as the Smithereen techs used a tool to knock down spider webs around the outside of our buildings and then spray for pests. They had the same diligence and care indoors. Very courteous and friendly. And most importantly experts in pest control! This is why we are using Smithereen for our second year in our new location.

I recently purchased a home where the previous owners already had a contract with Smithereen to come quarterly for rodent and other pest prevention. Before I had even closed on the house, I received a phone call from David who introduced himself as my serviceman (if thats the right word?) and wanted to see if I had any questions or concerns. I was really impressed that he took the initiative to introduce himself so soon. Flash forward a few weeks, he came for his quarterly inspection and treatment. While he was in my living room discussing everything, I witnessed a cat get hit by a car. David went out to check on the cat and found it was deceased. When he found out that 311 was closed for Veterans Day, instead of giving up, he called the non-emergency line, and stayed on hold with them for probably at least 20-25 minutes while he still spoke to me about why he was there. When the non-emergency line finally answered, he was told they could not come get the cat. David got a trash bag from me and picked up the cat. He was going to take it back with him to dispose of it, but I was able to find the cats owner. Lastly, he covered the area with disinfectant. This was all before he even did anything relating to pest control. I was blown away by this level of customer service and professionalism. From what we discussed, the pest prevention has been working, so I think the service itself is good. I just wanted to make sure I commented about Davids amazing customer service and make sure he is recognized.

Smithereen is an awesome company. I started using them, for my house, about 4 years ago. David came out and was very professional and knowledgeable about what he was doing. I ended up moving out of that house and into a condo a couple years later. I didn’t want to lose them as a company, so I hired them for my restaurant in the River Market. Once again, David is my guy. Couldn’t be happier. He came in, did his thing, and BOOM....pests are gone!! The property manager of the whole building was impressed by the job and asked me who I was using. I told her the name and now they are the exterminators of the whole block. Quality gets recognition. I also want to recognize Paul. Paul comes out when David can’t make it. Paul is an amazing human and exterminator as well. These 2 guys are huge assets to this company. I met with Smithereen technician Brian and another tech came with him. They were both very professional and explained everything while they were setting a trap to catch a groundhog on my property. Technician arrived as scheduled. He made a thorough inspection of the attic and identified the problem. He then place a trap to capture the squirrel that had entered and become a problem. I accompanied him while he inspected the outside of the house and identified potential entry points into the attic space. He set up a follow-up date for reinspection and removal of any captured animal. He was very professional.

Called Smithereen with a suspected rodent problem in our garage and within the attached wall. Brian came out to service our house. He was so pleasant to speak with and professional! He gave us lots of tips and tricks and walked us through everything he was doing. I am so happy with the service! He should get a bonus! Lol. He mentioned hes been in this business for 22 years! Matt was our technician! He was very educational on our rat situation. He even took the time to help us set peanut butter correctly on 9 of our rat traps. We have a follow up in a week, hopefully there’s no more activity until then!

The technician (Ronnie, I believe) came with a mask on meaning he cared about me and my space. He explained he was here for my annual termite inspection. This he did most efficiently and also took the time to check my rodent trap, putting in new bait. He reported back to me with the good news, no termites and the bait that was previously in trap had been eaten. He was very good at coordinating a time that worked for me.He is very aware of COVID making sure to wear a mask, using my gate rather than going thru my garage, and making sure to social distance as he did his inspection. He let me know what had been eating in my traps and also looked and told me what had dug a hole under the plastic platform holding my air conditioner. Matt also check other areas in my yard for possible problems. He is very personable and a true professional in doing his job. We’ve used Smithereen for over a year now, and highly recommend the company. Customer service via the 800 number has been excellent. The technicians sent to our house (we’ve only had 2 so far) have been extremely friendly and competent. They are more than willing to educate us about the pests we are seeing, how to prevent them, and the prevention techniques they are using to help with the problem. The technicians also take the time to understand our family situation, as we have little ones crawling and want to make sure the chemicals used are safe. We have had no negative experiences and will continue to use them.

The tech came three days ago I still have the same bugs and more now than I had before. This house has been completely rehabbed and flipped from the bottom up but whatever is causing these pests is not getting better. I’m waiting a couple more days before I call I’m thinking maybe the pesticide has driven them out of wherever they were and that’s what I’m seeing at least I hope so. I’ve never ever had a pest problem in any home I’ve lived in my house is immaculate so I’m not getting these bugs but they don’t live well here with me especially these centipede looking things I’ve crawling up my walls and out of my closets . Ugh
