Mike was prompt, helpful, and very knowledgeable. He helped us come up with a plan to get the family of raccoons out of our chimney. After shopping around for multiple quotes we found not only was Mike the most reasonably priced - he was also the quickest person available.I hope to not need Mikes services again, but I do feel comfortable knowing that if we need someone to come out again - Mike was more than fair & incredibly helpful. I wont hesitate to contact him at all! I just hope we dont have a reason too!

This was such an unfortunate experience. I had a raccoon living in my chimney, and all I needed was for them to come put a one-way door on the top so it could get out but not get back in. It seemed like a simple enough task, but the guy who came out was very open about being unsure of what to do. He ended up taking out the fireplace insert in my basement, looking in there, and confirming that there was a raccoon. After he confirmed it was in there, he for some reason decided to walk away and work on the roof with both the fireplace on my first floor and in my basement wide open. Assuming that he was a professional and knew what he was doing, I didn’t question him (I thought he probably plugged it higher up). Of course, this meant that the raccoon just came into the house. I was sitting at my dining room table when I heard tip-tap sounds on the kitchen floor. When I turned around, I saw the raccoon two feet behind me. I ran out the front door and got the guy. When the guy came in, he said he couldn’t find the raccoon and that it “probably” went back up the chimney. At this point, my kitchen was a huge mess; the raccoon had stepped in its poop and left black poop footprints all over the kitchen and counters. It even urinated in my cookie tray on my stove top. It took hours to clean and disinfect the kitchen, and I had to throw away my dinner, which I was marinating on the counter. The raccoon also walked across brand new carpeting that I had just gotten installed in my basement; the whole purpose of getting new carpeting was to have a safe/clean place for my baby to crawl, and now I have to worry about contamination from roundworm. Anyway, this story gets crazier and crazier, and I’ll spare you all the details, but the shorter version is that we discovered in the middle of the night when it sounded like someone was breaking in that the raccoon was still loose in our house. I called the guy back out, and still he “couldn’t find it” and insisted that “if” it was in the house, that there would be more of a mess (more than just the raccoon poop that mysteriously ended up on our floor). Eventually, after several returns to my house, they were able to find the raccoon hiding in the rafters in a room I used as a gym in my basement (which I now can’t use as a gym because I worry about aerosolized roundworm from poop in the rafters far enough back that we can’t clean it out). After *48* full hours of the raccoon being loose in my house, endangering the life of my small dog and 7-month-old baby, it was finally removed. All they had to say about it was that “sometimes things go south,” which is remarkable given that they literally opened the door to let the raccoon in and then left the fireplace door unattended while it was open for over an hour. It was an extremely dangerous and awful experience due entirely to their negligence. And charging $700 after all that seems simply absurd given that they endangered my family, ruined my new carpeting, and rendered my gym unusable for the foreseeable future.

Mike is knowledgeable, responsive, prompt and reasonably priced. He quickly came out to trap raccoons from my attic space even coming on the weekend to reset the trap. He previously removed bats and secured the awning space to prevent their return. He also secured my shutters. I quoted other larger companies and his price was not only below their quotes but as a small, locally owned company, the service was beyond my expectations. I would highly recommend this company.

I would highly recommend Buggs, we had a groundhog under our deck from calling to get a price to capture was 3 hours. Andrew was very polite and professional, he explained it could take a few days to catch it but it only took an hour. I called to let him know that he got it and he was here to relocate it in less than a hour. We decided to leave the trap out in case there was another one and got a bonus possum that night, once again after calling he was here within the hour to relocate the animal.

Great service with a local dad/son shop. I had 3 other companies out trying to get this racoon caught and out of the house and all failed except for them. Did the most thorough examination and set the traps and it was gone in a night. Extremely responsive and super great guys.

We had a groundhog that took up residence under our deck. For the last year or two we werent sure what to do....it was really kinda cute. Then all of the sudden we had LOTS of little groundhogs. Several people said its best to get rid of them because of the damage they can do. I call Buggs Pest & Wildlife Control. Mike got back to me that same day and he was here between 5pm - 6pm and set up traps. We knew we had the momma and thought there were 5 babies. Within 2 hours 4 babies were caught. Mike came back that night and relocated those and reset the traps. The next morning we were surprise with a raccoon! Bonus! Mike took care of the raccoon, rebaited all of the traps and by 5pm we had caught the momma and THREE more babies. Surprise for us. But they are all cleared out now. I would highly recommend this company for their fast, professional service. Mike came by here quick to pick up the captured and within 24 hours we were done.

Mike was able to come out right away to take care of a bat that had gotten trapped in our fireplace. I’m so grateful he was able to take care of it quickly! He was professional and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend him!

Mike is AWESOME! A family of birds made a nest in our wall (hole left in exterior of the home by previous owner). Mike showed up quickly, got the birds out, cleaned out the nest, and patched the hole. I got quotes from other companies in the area and Mike was by far the most reasonable. He was professional and genuinely a nice guy. I will recommend him to anyone who needs critter control services!

Had a couple of raccoons who thought they would set up a nice home in my attic. Im sure they were comfy up there, but I wasnt. Mike was great. He actually answered the phone, which was his first mark in his favor, since four other places I called did not (and never even returned the call). He was out the next day to screen off the opening in the attic and install a one way door out for them. They havent been back and have hopefully moved on to greener pastures. Mike was prompt, courteous, professional, and got the job done for a good price. I would use him again in a second.

We had been hearing sporadic animal noises in our attic, but after a little bat got into the attic and made its way into our house, we gave Mike a call. He came out the same day (which Im hugely grateful for) and did a thorough inspection inside and out. I was terrified we had a serious bat infestation, but he was able to reassure me that the bat was a one-off, though he did find evidence of nesting birds. He was able to seal all the gaps in our roof that were allowing the animals to get in, and we havent heard a single animal noise since. He was prompt, professional and extremely nice. We had a squirrel in the floor between basement and first floor. Evidently it found a way in but could not find a way out. It was running through our duct work throughout the first floor. Mike answered the call and was at our home the same morning. He placed 2 traps and by the next morning the little critter was captured. Called Mike and he came by to pickup him up and take him away.
