For several weeks we heard a scratching sound that we initially thought was from a critter on the outside of our house. We live in a wooded area with an abundance of squirrels, and we had previous experience with them many years earlier. The sound was infrequent but once isolated, we realized it was coming from our attic and so we sought the services of Cridder Ridder. Following multiple visits over a two month period, together we concluded that bats were the culprit.During the course of those visits, traps were placed in both the attic and basement. Additionally, our house was thoroughly examined, revealing a small gap under one of our eves. Since none of the traps had triggered, the larger critters were considered less likely suspects. As weeks passed and temperatures rose, we realized the noise had ceased. Apparently this is consistent with bat behavior, as they had only been seeking a warm shelter.Although there was no evidence in the form of a captured creature, I did not object to paying what I felt was a reasonable amount for the services of this company. Beyond the professionalism shown both by owner Matt and his associate Christian, I was more impressed by their persistence in solving our issue in the conscientious manner that they did. I would recommend this company to anyone without reservation.

My husband and I enlisted the help of Critter Ridder for a garter snake issue. Matt completed a thorough inspection of my home, isolating several potential areas for remediation. Matt came out today to help with a raccoon in my attic. I havent had a better customer service experience in my life. He thoroughly set up two traps on the outside of my roof and inspected the inside as well. Hands down would approve his attention to detail.

I called them to get rid of a mole in my backyard. Although no mole was caught, they were out here, it seemed like, every other day moving the traps around and trying to catch him. They called me multiple times directly to let me know what was going on. They called me to tell me they were going to take the traps back after a couple weeks had gone by and I let them know that I had seen a new mole trail and they came back and set new traps. Overall it was a great experience.

These guys are awesome! I had bat, sparrow, and squirrel problems at my house. Christian came out initially on a Sunday. They got the attic buttoned up to keep the bats out, then took care of the sparrows. Next up, he and Matt trapped and removed 10 squirrels! They were really professional, responsive and very reasonable regarding invoicing. Ive recommended them to neighbors and will continue to do so.

Had some noises in the attic last month and called several animal removal companies. Cridder Ridder was the fastest to respond and had very good pricing for their services. Matt found signs of mice, set traps came back the following week remove the culprits and no noises since. He also found some signs of bats which we have had in the house a few times in the past year and explained this is best to take care of in the Spring when they are out of hibernation mode so he be back soon for that and any other future unwanted Cridder issues! We had several groundhogs in our backyard tunneling underneath our deck. I called Cridder Ridder and they were at our house within a few hours to set traps. One was caught within 30 minutes of them leaving, I called to let them know and they came right back to remove it. I have had a great experience with Cridder Ridder and would highly recommend them!!

We had a terrible bat problem in our attic and could not get rid of them no matter what we tried. After a week or two we decided to give Cridder Ridder a shot at it after being referred to them by a friend. They did an awesome job and were very efficient in the bat removal of our home and making sure it didnt happen easily again. We used Critter Ridder to get rid of (many) voles and a muskrat. I am happy to report after a month of trapping, we have neither! But even more importantly, the communication was great, Missy and Christian were both informative and extremely helpful in understanding the problem!

I had a nest of squirrels that had found a way into the wall of my house. Critter Ridder set traps and caught them---5 in all. They kept in good communication with me, letting me know when they took a squirrel away and reset the trap. THey also did a great job repairing the hole in the siding. I really like the fact that they dont kill the squirrels.I highly recommend them!

I had a huge mud/grass birds nest at the top of the arch over my front door. I waited until the baby birds left the nest to have a pressure washer guy come to clean up the mess. The following week I saw birds examining the same place looking for a place to build a new nest. We heard something in our ceiling. I called on a Tuesday. Wednesday Cridder Ridder had a trap on my roof and by Wednesday afternoon had a squirrel trapped. They retrieved the trap on Wednesday and left a 2nd trap for another week in case we had more uninvited guests. My wife and I woke up several mornings in a row with damage to the sod in our back yard. Getting up early one morning we witnessed 3 Raccoons feasting on our nice juicy grubs. Not sure why the bug treatment didnt work, but we were helping a family of raccoons get ready for a long winter. We tried several things to rid our self of the pests, motion detected flood lights (didnt work), sprinklers coming on during feeding time (didnt work), a body heat/motion activated coyote growl (didnt work), and running out the back door to surprise them while feeding (chased them off, but they just came back). We faithfully re-sodded our back yard every morning for over two weeks, thankfully it was not real hot and quite rainy during this time so the sod did not dry out and is not a total loss. Then it occurred to me call the professionals. The team at CridderRidder came over, evaluated the situation, positioned two live traps to capture our masked friends, and lo and behold on the second night two were captured and given permanent residence some 20 miles south. We discovered mice in our attic last fall and called Cridder Ridder immediately! They sealed up all the entrance points the mice created and set traps throughout the attic. Apparently we had smart mice, because they would find ways to take the bait and avoid the traps. Matt & Christian were on top of it though. I called Cridder Ridder to help get what I thought was a squirrel in my attic and it was 70-100 bats!! They found the hole, put up a bat tube, got them out, rechecked the attic and fix the hole! Very nice and I would recommend them to any that needs wildlife help!

I had a groundhog tunneling under our back yard through a retaining wall. I called Cridder Ridder and they were out the next day to set traps. Within 24 hours, that groundhog was caught! They blocked the hole and left two traps for a couple of weeks....no further groundhogs. I was even showed how to open the trap in case I needed to release an unintended animal that might get caught in the trap. Sure enough, a possum and later a raccoon accidentally got caught, but they posed no problem for us to release them ourselves (both times, the captured animal acted relieved rather than defensive when we handled the cage to free them). I would highly recommend Cridder Ridder and Im sure we will use them again considering the wildlife in our area. Thank you!

We had a groundhog that was digging under our front step. Matt came out and set up a trap for us. As luck would have it, as soon as the trap was set up we never saw the groundhog again. We had been seeing him daily before this. We tried for three weeks to catch him, but he seems to have moved on. Matt helped us take steps to make sure we wouldnt have more animals trying to dig out the same spot.

Found out from a roofer inspecting some damage that it appeared I had a raccoon problem. Called CridderRidder and they came out within a day and set some traps. We didnt catch the bugger after 4 days of waiting... I suspect hes gone, but they did repair the damage to the flashing at the base of my chimney and roof line as well as fixed damaged shingles.Highly recommended.
