I could not recommend this place highly enough. A few months ago I bought a Prius from one of the techs here, and that in and of itself was the best car purchasing the experience I’ve had. At I-70 Auto Service, they provided me with a ride home and back, since their inspection/maintenance service is so extensive it takes several hours. Fred, the driver, was a great conversationalist. I was sent a report of the appointment that was the most comprehensive and concise I’d ever seen. Stop going to your current mechanic and bring your vehicles here indefinitely.

Land Rover owners looking for an alternative to the dealer should check in here with Tyler and his team. They replaced my oil cooler gasket, timing cover gaskets, valve cover, new fuel injectors, spark plugs, Radiator, water pipe and did an outer tie rod end + alignment. As someone who usually works on his own cars, I honestly expected to go back at least once for all that was worked on... but so far all is 100% perfect. Seriously impressed.

Brought my excursion diesel in to have it checked out for a 3000 mile trip pulling a 9000 pound camping trailer through some mountains. several things they said could normally wait but because of the upcoming trip and the strain it would put on the vehicle they recommended I do. The total bill was $3400 but it was the best $3400 I spent. Drove 3000 miles pulling the camping trailer through the mountains with no trouble. Because of their recommendations it was a great trip. I would highly recommend them.

I recently got the opportunity to use this service when my car started making a weird noise. I-70 contacted me early morning the next business day to get me scheduled in. My car was in and out within a day! They let me know what other things were also wrong but also helped me to prioritize maintenance to fit my finances. I loved how they provided me with a detailed description of what was wrong with my car.Price was kind of high, but from the service and interactions I had at this location, it was worth it.Also, the fact that they even dropped me back at home once they had my car was a life saver!!!

This is the only place I take my Jeep. For the last three years Tyler and his team have taken the best care of me and my car. I brought in my 15 year old car for a second opinion inspection after another mechanic dismissed issues I was noticing and told me they couldn’t perform the repair they diagnosed. Tyler found several issues that unfortunately would cost more than my car is worth to repair, so I left without having any of the repairs completed. I am absolutely planning on bringing my next car back to I-70 Auto Service. Tyler was more professional than other mechanics I’ve seen and took time to explain the problems and what would be needed to fix them. He provided me with a detailed inspection report which included pictures of my vehicle and the problems they found, which I really appreciated and have never received anywhere else. Tyler also provided a loaner car at no cost and was very flexible and understanding about giving me a couple of days to think about how I wanted to proceed with my car. The shop is clean and they have hand sanitizer and masks available, and everyone I saw was wearing a mask, which is very important to me right now!

Tyler and his team were awesome. I was traveling across the country when my starter went out. Understanding my situation Tyler was able to complete the repair and get me back on the road before they closed. I showed up in a tow truck so their ability to turn it around quickly went a long way in getting my trip back on track. My initial experience with I-70 Auto Service was pretty good. My first encounter was with Shane and he had very good customer service skills; very good person to represent the front of the (house) business.When I went to pick my vehicle up, all appeared to be good. Then while driving down the highway, I noticed my hood bouncing up and down. It had obviously not been latched appropriately. Later, I was at the local grocer, loading items and notice a GLOB of oil IN my lift handle of my tailgate.If not for Shanes customer service, I probably would not be revisiting I-70 Auto Service, but it was a pleasant surprise to be treated with the appropriate level of respect and knowledge in his profession.

Very happy to have found this repair shop. My overheating problem has been corrected and the overall check-up is reassuring to know everything else is ok. I spent a lot of money there to have my vehicle service and had to take it somewhere else

I can’t recommend I-70 auto highly enough. Besides the usual scheduled maintenance, Shane has listened to me panic-call him on a long road trip with understanding ears when my AC stopped working abruptly. He continued to treat my very old (RIP) Prius when it was on its last legs, knowing I wanted to drive it as long as possible rather than finally cough up the change for a new car. When the Prius finally died for good, Shane even offered tips on how to negotiate the fairest price for a certified preowned vehicle. All of the team have gone above and beyond with their time and dedication to service, and the work they’ve done let my old car live much longer than it otherwise would have. I will not go anywhere else; these guys are the best!

Took car in for airbag light issue. Received a very detailed print out of the issue. Could not fix as the vehicle had been crashed prior and whoever sold the car didn’t install correct piece back in. Great customer service, professionalism and friendly. Would definitely use again and recommend.

I first came to meet Joe, Tyler, and some of the other gentlemen over at I-70 Auto Service a couple years ago when I was having car trouble after a close friend referred me their way. The gentlemen have been thorough, professional, and careful about explaining the various options to repair my vehicles over the years. Their thoroughness and customer service I feel allowed me to make the best, informed choices in regards to what I wanted out of my vehicles. Any time a friend of mine asks me if I know any mechanics in the area, I continue to point them to the guys at I-70 Auto Service.

My initial experience was attempting to obtain quotes on a Sprinter transmission replacement, and after 3 separate calls to follow up, still never received one from these guys. Certified Transmission of Olathe rocks, so if you need anything Sprinter transmission, call up Andrew.The second time was dropping off my Sprinter for oil and fuel filter change, which both were done just fine without issues. A few things that were not fine, is they seemed unsure on how much a Sprinter oil and fuel filter service would cost, as I received different quotes that kept increasing. Final bill topped $500 for oil and fuel filter change, comparable to the Mercedes dealer. I was also charged for 2 different oil filters (different prices?), which I did not catch until after I got home. They did offer to credit my next visit ☹, which probably won’t happen.Other potential issues that I will not go into detail about, are mis-diagnosing the source of an oil leak (verified by 2 different shops) and choosing to remove the rear disc caliper to re-route a rubbing cable, rather than drop the rear shock by simply removing one-bolt.I am always looking for great Sprinter diesel mechanic alternatives to the dealer, but I think I will continue the search.

I heard about this place from a friend. They truly are the best. They dont treat me different because Im a woman and are always open and honest with me and answer all of my questions. They are good at providing estimates for the services I need and they dont pressure me if I say I cant get to a service at this time.I recently moved to the north land but I still take my car here because I wouldnt trust it with anyone else.

When my car broke, it got towed to I-70 (I didn’t have a choice). They did great, really fast work and were very friendly to me, but the price wasn’t great. I called my usual shop who quoted the same work as being a couple hundred dollars less.

We have been using I-70 Auto to service our cars for a couple of years now. Tyler, Shane, and the staff have always been very courteous; upfront about costs; and provide quality service. Additionally, the staff at I-70 is very knowledgeable about a variety of vehicles and services. For people with a Mercedes, I-70 is a place that will provide you with quality service at a much more affordable price, over that of a dealership.

I appreciate them getting me in so quickly. I had gone over on mileage for oil change, and they got me in right away. I especially liked that I was provided a ride to and from my place of employment while they serviced my car.

These guys dropped a new engine into my Sprinter about fifteen thousand miles ago. I waited to write this until I could make sure that all was well. And it is. So- they helped me out by getting it done quickly. I used this van for my business and as such I could have folded had it taken a long time. The whole job cost $12,000 LESS than what Mercedes would have charged me (as reported by Mercedes) They were professional and reassuring without being overconfident every step of the way, keeping in touch etc. They knew that I was from out of town, somewhat desperate, and that I did not want to use a dealership, despite all of this they did not take advantage of me or my situation. So they have all of the right tools for the Mercedes Sprinter van as well as the expertise. They are honest and easy to work with. If I could think of more great things to say I would. Great system of communication. I recently had my car serviced at I-70 Auto. When I called to make the appointment it was nice to hear a familiar voice. Tyler is always good to remember you. I know very little about cars but know I can call Tyler and the staff . They always get me in and I feel confident in their automotive knowledge/expertise and their outstanding customer service. They gave me a loaner car and said they would call when finished. They said nothing was wrong with my car; they had checked it out thoroughly and changed the oil. They never try to find something to charge you for just to increase the price (like many places do). I have been coming here for years and will be back for my oil change unless something happens sooner. I was able to determine what I needed to get done on my car in an informed way after telling them I need a complete check-up for an upcoming cross-country road trip. They offered to-and-from shuttle service so I didnt have to wait around. They put a lot of attention into the oil change and 30 point complementary inspection. They communicated well and suggested that I have a new cabin filter put in. I agreed that that would be a good idea, and they were able to put it in the same day. I started my vacation in August near St. Joe, MO with friends to watch the eclipse on Smithville Lake. Shortly after the eclipse, a big storm hit, catching everyone in a downpour. A couple from MN, ran over to us for jumper cables (seeing our ND and MN plates, she figured wed have some!). Our men went to help, and long story short, my tire was punctured on a fire pit. What a nightmare changing THAT in a downpour, the back end of my SUV packed with damp camping gear! I planned to drive on to southern IL to visit family, while the other 3 in our group went back to ND. I was going to need new tires before winter in ND, and called a few places in KC, but most were scheduled out a day or two. And then I found Emma -bless her heart . I was due at a family reunion in IL, and another days delay was out of the question. Joe worked me in, got me some rugged all-weather tires and I spent most of the afternoon at I-70 Auto Service with these wonderful, helpful people, and some of their customers. Avery put my tires on, poor fellow - with the back of my SUV packed to the max with gear, he graciously declined my offer to unload it so he could get at the spare compartment under it all. He took it all out, and put it all back in. Thanks Avery! Joe checked a few things I was concerned about, which really put my mind at ease, and did a thorough inspection report. I was surprised and impressed that they would honor the warranty no matter where in the country I might need it. I am a District General Manager for a company that has a fairly large fleet. Tyler and Joe at I-70 Auto maintain my entire fleet of company owned cars and trucks of many different varieties. My trucks are the mainstay of my business and keeping them on the road and up to DOT standards is imperative. Many times my trucks will need a repair and I only have a small window of time to get them repaired and back on the road. These guys are top notch and know getting my trucks repaired and out the door is the most obstacle due to parts availability and scheduling headaches. They are at the top of their field in customer satisfaction and they stand behind their work 100%. A++ you wont find a better shop in the entire KC area.

Very happy with the service that I received from the shop they were close to the house and I was able to get dropped off and pick back up in a little bit of no time I will be using their services again
