Be weary of scheduling pick up/drop off service with this provider. We had a tour with pick up and drop off scheduled with Cruiser Phils but a week before our scheduled date the Company notified us that they would not be able to offer pick up because there were not enough people in our area for the Company to justify sending a shuttle. Extremely unprofessional to sell a service and cancel with short notice. We were ultimately refunded and scheduled with a different tour operator.

Cruzer Phil guided Sunrise tours are awesome especially if youre a little hesitant were not used to it done by 10:30 an hour break off to the hotel at 11:30 recommended Phils a real cool guy

Just Amazing! Words cannot comprehend the beauty of the Haleakala summit Sunrise view. The bike ride down the mountain was even better. Cruise phils led and delivered a very comfortable journey. They facilitated hotel pickups and drops, also provided with all the necessary gears. Tomas, our tour guide was indeed was a man of many talents. We had a great time!!

This trip was totally worth it. It was not pleasant waking up at 1am. However it was totally worth it. Preston is fantastic. A wealth of knowledge. The sunrise was phenomenal. The ride was AMAZING, not for people that have not ridden bikes in a while. Its downhill and some speeds we hit about 30mph. I would do this trip again before I left if I had time. Also Dean and Preston ensured safety. Dean drove behind us in the van which controlled the cars being able to get right behind you. I would give more stars if there was an option...

The volcano sunrise and bike ride down Haleakala is super cool.As a tourist from Indiana, the 1:30AM wake up time wasnt too terrible. The sunrise was gorgeous. I was a little nervous about the bike ride down, but it was so simple. Our tour guide, Jay, was very direct in his communication while we were on the bikes down. I thoroughly enjoyed the guides lunch recommendations in Paia.This is an awesome experience worth doing!

Marvin and Tomas as tour guides were so pleasant. A wealth of knowledge about Maui and Hawaii (Havaii) in general. My wife and I recommend this place. 5 stars. Good people. Great adventure. Tomas on the ukulele was a highlight

I never actually had a chance to take the tour. They gladly took our money. But then on the day of the ride, they left our resort without us, even though we talked to the driver twice and he knew we were minutes away from meeting him. He just left us there. From reading other reviews on Yelp, it seems like maybe that was best as it sounds like the guides are rude and who needs that on vacation. Im sure the ride is amazing, just go with a different company - one that values customers over cash.

Louie was a fabulous tour guide!! We really felt like we experienced the true spirit of Maui by taking this bike tour. The views from the bike are wonderful and the breeze and open air is refreshing. Plus, Louie told us lots of stories and imparted his Maui wisdom and Aloha onto us! The crater can be cold and windy so definitely use the clothing they provide. Lastly, we had to wake up very early at 2am but it was totally worth it!!!

An experience of a lifetime. Everything went as smooth as could be, and I dont think there could possibly be a better company out there for this tour. No matter what option you select, you will have an amazing experience. We decided last minute to bike down, instead of van ride, and although I was freaking out, I am so glad I did it. Our guide was reassuring, and made sure we were comfortable and had all the knowledge we needed. Also if you want to know ANYTHING about the island, these guys can give you the information. Dont pick another company!

This was the best experience of our trip on Maui. Matt was one of the best if not best guides I have ever had on any guided tour. He made the entire trip a blast. And we will do this again definitely. You will not be disappointed!

My wife and I had a blast on the sun rise ride up and bike ride down. Preston was very informative and knowledgeable about the island and extremely comforting. It was a highlight for our honeymoon, educational and enjoyable.

Drew was amazing as a tour guide. This tour was super fun. The sunrise is freezing so bring a LOT of cold jammers. You can put them in the van.

Mixed feels about this one. The ride was great and the guide stopped for the slower people and whatnot. The guide didn’t speak loudly when we were in the van on the way to the top so those in the back missed a lot of details about the area. The only real problem was when we went to eat lunch at the end first the restaurant they had booked was having issues and couldn’t serve us but we didn’t find out until we got there. So we went to another place and while some were finishing up eating we asked to go to the store across the road. Well, they left us there and we only found out where they were because someone else on the tour Facebook messaged us saying they were about a mile away!! On the ride back a different guide took us to our hotel and he gave us some great info about the area, history and what not. He actually also spoke loudly enough for everyone to hear!

Amazing! You have to wake up extremely early, but it is absolutely worth it. The staff honestly make the experience unforgettable. If you stop in the village, get the stick donuts!

My wife and I took the tour on Feb. 25th.The sunrise experience was great, Preston the bike guide was very informative and the whole group had a fun time with him. The clothing they provided was perfect for the conditions. My wife was a little scared about the bike ride down, but Preston reassured her it would be ok and she has a great ride.

I worked there for a Year back in 2005. Ive also did the ride from the Top of Haleakala Crater to Sea Level in Paia Town. All the Staff from Cruiser Phil himself on down thru All the Crew Members have always treated me like family and have gone way out of their way to help me. I was partially disabled and living in a car outside their facilities and one day Phil Feliciano offered me a part-time job maintaining the vehicles. And over the years Phil and I have been good friends ever since. He is the most Safety Conscious and Hospitable, honest businessman and friend truly a Pillar of the Community!.

Booked a tour online. Got a call a day before saying that there was a glitch with the computer and that I would have to reschedule. I ended up going a few days later in a rainstorm. Two days ruined.

What ever you do dont get sick and cancel because Phil does a very bad business not returning your funds. Terrible!!!!
