Came with a dead battery in hand to purchase a new one at 630 when they closed at 7pm. Told me the store is not open with plastic chain.... only the tire center open.So I went across the street and gave my $140 business to Auto Zone that closes later and has much better customer service.Peace
If I could give no stars I would. My trucks transmission broke down while I was far away from home out of town with my trailer on the back. I had my wife call shops in the area and Pep Boys came up as close by. She called and spoke to Rafael and described what was going on. He told her to go ahead and bring the truck in. When we got there they took the truck to the service center to run diagnostics. Rafael told us that he knew from what she described that it was the transmission that was messed up. A few minutes later they called us to the register, told us it was indeed the transmission, that they dont work on transmissions, and charged us eighty-something dollars for 5 minutes of their time when they knew what was wrong all along. I felt cheated. That was money that could have gone towards the transmission in the first place.
Excellent customer service. They dedicated their time to help me find a rare tire that they didnt have the same day. Then they installed it quickly and efficiently. No other place would say they could get it done today or even over the weekend. Dont waste your time with tire Kingdom or anywhere else, Pep boys has got your back.
I thought I needed new brake fluid, they tested it and showed me that the service was not needed. It was very honest of them. Ill definitely be back for future services
Ive just got 4 new tires for my Hyundai Santa Fe.They responded fast, professionally and gave me really good prices.A few days later I wanted to check on the manufacturing year of the tires and I returned.Without any problems they lifted the car to let me see by myself both the year and the week those tires had been made.I highly recommend them!
Had Pep Boys install a Roush Fox Leveling kit to my F150. The work was done and completed quickly and the truck drives and handles great! Their mechanic did a great job and was very knowledgeable.

When I came to pick up a car they gave us the wrong car keys and when we told them, the person behind the desk just raised his voice at us and blames us for what he did. My husband went in to get a headlight because he noticed the light was out, and hours clearly say they are open until 7. There was customers in the store and everything the guy at the counter was on the phone and refused to help him, he said, We close at 6, covid.. My husband pointed out their doors were not locked and the hours clearly state 7pm. Oh well, will never use Pep Boys store ever again. Ill go to Advanced Auto, or AutoZone. Good job just because you wouldnt assist a customer, youve lost my business and I will let everyone I know,, know about this.

I live this store however with inventory on the shelves being on the low side probably because of Covid. The worst thing a salesperson in a brick and moartor store can do is say go online. Remember boys and girls the reason that I didnt go online was because I wanted to support your store. The first thing I do online is visit Amazon.
Had to buy part to fix car. Called person on phone was pleasant. Asked if youre coming that he would pull apart and have it ready when we got there I said yes were going to be coming and then unfortunately our mechanic couldnt get a ride up there so we had to get it the next morning I called in again and the guy kind of had a little bit of an attitude that we didnt show up yesterday and I told him it was beyond our control we had to best intentions of coming but were definitely coming now and well be there within the hour. He said well Im not pulling the part until you get here I want to make sure youre coming before I go back there and pull a part again. The customerc service could be a little bit better over the phone yeah but other than that its a good store. Friendly staff.. usually. LolPep boys.. aside from his small attitude i mean he hasnt freaked out or anything. Just seemed a little annoyed that we hadnt come when he took time to do a nice gesture. Youre a 5 star place. Only brought it down because he could have just said ok see you when you get here and left it at that. He didnt have to say he wasnt pulling the part again. Its fine. Im sure he just had a bad day because when they got there for the part everyone including him was very nice. Since you replied to my review Ive moved you to the 5 star you should have anyway!. Oh one more thing. We are business of yours but one day my roommate left his key in the car. Your workers said they had one of those things to open the door but manager wouldnt let them do it because he wasnt a customer right then. He was Walmart customer. Hes also a customer of yours. Remind your managers that being nasty and not helping someone just because hes not a customer that moment could lose them forever. Lucky him my roommate is a forgiving person. Just FYI

Awful service. The service advisor and mechanic were arguing in front of me about doing the break job I wanted done. I should have taken it as a sign . I was also going to get my oil changed. 20 mins after leaving our car they called and claimed my car was leaking oil all over I check it regularly so I know they were lying. Its oil from before I owned the car that was all over the engine. So they wouldnt change my oil and didnt even do the break check we wanted done. Very unprofessional behavior from all I dealt with. These days so many people out there want a job and these guys dont even want to work. Unfortunate! Just got home not a drop of oil under where I park and they didnt even close my hood all the way how dangerous can you be? I would be careful getting work done here!
My wife went to get the car battery replaced because I was working. They gave her the most obvious clueless woman treatment for just about the easiest car maintenance possible.They originally gave some absurd price like $260, saying because it was a Land Rover, it was special and not in the system. Obviously knowing full well the Discovery Sport is a very common model and takes an even more common battery size.I had warned her in advance they would try this, so she was able to call out the most obvious BS. But the final price still sounded like a complete ripoff, compared to their prices online.I had also warned her about any additional salesmen tactics. And sure enough, she said there were 5 employees all over the car inspecting it and pointing out things that NEED to get fixed.I have nothing against trying to help people that dont know what theyre doing... But when someone comes in knowing in exact and simple terms what they want, at the most competitive price, and you treat them like a moron because theyre a woman, its pretty obvious.
Recently went in there to get a synthetic oil change and rotation.Tim and David were pretty good with the service.My only problem was when I got home I popped the hood to clean the battery terminal and I noticed my windshield wiper motor compartment was tampered with (open) and the rubber seals along the compartment werent back into original place.I will try them again because everyone deserves a second chance.Please be careful in the future.

After tire kingdom down the road on Bush Road didn’t record my appointment that I made and told me it would be hours to wait (and they said even if they would have had my appointment right, at least an hour for a tire patch), I went to get my tire fixed very quickly at pep buys. James was the best! So was the gentleman (didn’t get his name) with auburn hair that works there. Thanks for the great service!!!
2nd time in this store today in last 10 yrs. Disappointed a second time. Went to this store because an item showed on hand last night after they were closed. Today while in the store it showed on hand. Had 2 gentlemen assist in trying to find the item while juggling phone calls. Two more people entered after 15 minutes and were checked out while I waited. After an hour, Im told they can order it from Lake Worth. I stated I usually shop Lake park and I made the trip to pickup the item. I recommended they change the advertisement to go online, order online, THEN CALL to make sure, then drive to store to pickup. They never would have found the part if I did not search and put in my cart with my phone. The part number was not in there system but it was online. They found it in there computer by looking up the SKU number.
Have used this store for my dodge 1500 front end repair bearing did a great job promised and ready tech was EXCELLENT, have taken my F-350 for tires again EXCELLENT SERVICE and kept me informed Ill be returning for my new set soon present tires lasted 3 years now still have tread LOVE COOPER H/T
Overall, Im very pleased with the service I got from Pep Boys Jupiter. Id brought my Excursion in with a misfire on cylinder 5, and it turned out the coil had gone bad. The boys there installed a new coil and new plugs to boot, however when I picked it up that afternoon my truck was still misfiring. I took it home and plugged my dads code reader in, come to find that I still had a misfire on cylinder 5 as well as cylinder 4 (at that point, as you can probably guess, I wasnt so happy with Pep Boys).I brought my truck back first thing in the morning and upon examination, it turned out that a slight error had been made with the new plug on cylinder 5, while the coil for cylinder 4 had now gone bad as well. The guys fixed their mistake from the previous day and even replaced the coil on cylinder 4 for no charge, which I thought was more than fair of the service manager, Raphael. My truck was back to normal after that, and I can definitely say Id bring my business back to them.

Buy your tires from an authorized dealer of your brand. I purchased a set of Continentals here, not knowing they werent an authorized dealer. Got a puncture two days later. PepBoys put a PLUG in the tire, rather than a patch. That plug leaked and now I was left with a tire that Continental would not warranty because of the plug, and PepBoys generously offered to sell me another tire for nearly $200 installed. How nice. Up yours Boys. Im 57 years old and had to break out my tire changing tools to patch my own tire.

Easy online check in (or in person), service quality is above average and comparable with dealers, they do not try to sell you things you do not need (like many dealers) but tell you what else may be needed. No pressure to do more than you came in for but it is always good to know if you have more problems or will need something else done soon. Prices are not cheap but compare with other shops in area and may be less than dealer. Keep receipts (or copies of them) in your car if you use more than one location or travel somewhere because their computer systems are not linked with other locations so they can not tell what you had done. They do honor warranty from other locations but you have to establish where and when it was done.
Had a slow leak in 2 tires, replaced all 4 end of December. Same slow leak persisted but I attributed it to something I may have run over because the tires were new. I had purchased the road warenty and finally got around to getting it in today only to be told the rim was the problem and the rust damage wasnt able to be fixed and it needed to be replaced. I am under no disillusion about the condition of my car. Its old. Its rusty. But what I am upset about is that I wasnt told about the condition of the rim when I got new tires. Because the new tires continued to leak i doubt they ever sealed properly in the first place meaning the rust damage has been there since December. I would have gone a different route had I known about the rusted rim. When I voiced this to the gentleman helping me today I was told the person who put on my tires in Dec no longer worked there and that he couldnt help me. Sad to know I can no longer trust that pep boys employees have the integrity to tell me what is happening with my car.

My husband took our car there after it broke down, he had to wait 2 hours with 2 young kids, he called pep boys they said to bring the car over and they would have a look at it first thing in the morning. Next day we called them at 12 only to find out that they werent even going to take a look at it because it had some rusty parts, so the tech completely refused to touch it, they told us to pick it up, $300 wasted on a tow truck. Waste of money and time for nothing, worst service
I called Pep Boys an hour before they closed on a Sunday, not really expecting much success, and was greeted pleasantly by Steven on the phone. He was very positive and told me I could come in for service. I was able to drop the car off to get a battery replaced within 30 minutes. The service was kind and friendly. I am extremely pleased with my service. Thank you to Steven and Luis for helping me out when I needed it most! Ill be back.
Went to Pep Boys to have brakes pads replace. Quoted a price for all four. The price seemed reasonable so I gave the go ahead. They only replaced the front and saying that I was only quoted for the front. Price was no longer reasonable. Labor for changing out the front brakes was $138. They never even checked the back brakes. I also requested a tire rotation and an oil change. I have yet to find out if they actually changed the oil and filter but I know they didnt rotate the tires as one of my back tires has a plug and the air cap is missing. When I called to tell the manager, Matt, that the tires were not rotated he came up with some crazy story about a new law passed in July that prohibits rotating the tires if the tread on the back is better than the front. Even if that were true, my tires are worn all equally (I had them checked). And I was still charged for the tire rotation. When I brought that to his attention, he claimed that I got a credit on the charge. This is not the case. There is no credit, just a charge of $9.99 for a tire rotation. The only thing I will be going back to Pep Boys for is to get a refund of $9.99.
Brought my car in for an oil change. When I picked my car up it was not in the same condition as when I dropped it off. The gear shifter inside my car was broken. I was told by the associate that it is just wear and tear and that all he could do was escalate the issue to his management team. It is hard for me to believe that it is just wear and tear when I dropped my car off in perfect condition and in just a few hours I receive the car back broken. My car suffered wear and tear sitting in the Pep Boys parking lot while getting an oil change? Im not sure why/how it would be broken because with an oil change no one is required to go inside the vehicle. Seems a little fishy to me.
Everybody was very nice there. They helped me get a tire in my price range and they finished the service quickly! It was a great experience.

Its a nice pep boys. If you are looking for something dont ask anyone because all but one guy here knows anything about cars. Better off going across the street to Advance Auto. That Advance Auto is the warehouse for West Palm. They carry more products on hand. The staff is more knowledgeable and Pep Boys.
Worst Auto Service Experience I ever had. The auto store us pretty good. You get decent stuff in affordable price. The Repair and Service is the worst in the area. I had the car in their garage from morning 8am till 8pm in the evening. They had promised me to have my car back on my return from work, but they didnt work on anything. I had my rotor plates and callipers replaced. The mechanic is overworked and they are pretty short staffed for the amount of cars they get in each day. Front desk staff is horrible. They do not listen to your problems, simply do not respond properly, arrogant!!

I had to get tires immediately, I called all over but no one had 230/50 18s in stock that were of reasonable price. Pep had some, and tire kingdom. Pep beat the price, and when I went I was helped by Joe. The guy was awesome asked what i needed and said Ill take care of you. He looked at my quoted internet price and without hesitation rang me up for the same price. He was extremely knowledgeable and very professional something that you rarely get at a garage. My wife was shocked at how quickly they got me in and out. I was further surprised when Ely called me the next day to check on how my experience was, but was not pushy told me to call back if i had any concerns. Had tires put on and the mechanic recommended I have brakes put on next visit and rotors turned because of grooves. He said I had plenty left on the rotors to turn them. Went back soon after for the brakes and Karl the service writer said the rotors were too thin to turn and wouldn’t allow the mechanic to do the work because it would be an unsafe job if I didn’t replace the rotors. Cost me $795. I didn’t remember until later that the previous mechanic told me I had plenty left on the rotors to turn them. Karl and perhaps the business in general lie about unsafe situations in order to force the customers to spend more for unnecessary work. I will never go back to Jupiter PEP Boys
Ive been going to pep boys at this location for years, and I am always pleased with their work. Robert is the technician I always use, and I trust his opinion. He is honest about what I need and that is hard to find in a mechanic. Dan was the costumer service person helping me when I got my oil changed today, and he was very friendly and helpful. I recommend using this pep boys location.

Ordered a part on Friday for Saturday pick up. Was called to pick it up Saturday, they couldnt find the part. Said come back Sunday. Went back Sunday, still no part, Told to come back Monday. Went back Monday, only to find it was they brought in the wrong part. Interesting tidbit, the whole time( ~10 minutes) we were being attended to, the associate was eating a sandwich??The place has some good inventory but the staff are very lackadaisical.

On day one of our trip from Key West, FL to New Jersey our air conditioning stopped!! Because my husband uses our local Pep Boys, we located the most convenient Pep Boys to our route. Fortunately for us, Daniel was the service manager who waited on us. In a very professional and efficient way, he explained our options. We started with a diagnostic inspection which ultimately determined we needed a new compressor. Daniel was able to locate one within minutes and while waiting for it to be delivered, he helped us locate a motel. We checked in, unloaded the car, drove back to Pep Boys where they were waiting to get started. Daniel drove us back to the motel and once the car was ready the following morning, picked us up. The whole experience was positive for us. Daniel was a pleasure to work with and Pep Boys Juniper has a very professional representative in their emily.

Although they had a long wait time, they spent their time with my vehicle and didnt rush to conclusions. Will have future services done at this center.
Completely ripped off my girlfriend when I was out of town put synthetic oil in a car that didnt need synthetic oil...free tire rotation that cost me 60$ in labor and I had two brand new tires in the front on a front wheel drive car and replaced them w the worn ones....this oil change cost me 180$ and this garage rips off little girls who dont know any better.I called corporate and explained this situation to them and they got me a 30$ refund which in my opinion doesnt make it right but its better than nothing I suppose. So I go back to the Jupiter location and tell them to use the $30 credit to rotate my tires back to the way they were and install a replacement headlight that I purchased somewhere else. When I got there it was about 5:30 p.m. and I sat there until 8:30pm at night at which time they told me that they could not replace my headlight after I told them how to install it. The tire has to be removed and bumper loosened to replace the headlight and the counter man argued with me about this as well, saying I was wrong and they knew better than I. So after sitting and waiting for 3 hrs all they got done was rotating my tires back to the way they were because they waited until the last minute to work on my car and attempt replacing the Hid lamp. Now I am forced to drive home at 9 at night with one working headlight risking getting a ticket because youre service manager is beyond incompetent and should be fired immediately. His name is Maurice and hes the biggest moron Ive ever encountered in my entire life.

This is the second time we have had to be towed in an emergency to this shop. On both occasions they quoted prices for the repair almost 50% more than other local shops and included unnecessary services (ex. Bad starter tried to also sell a battery despite battery being only a few month old... and 10 months later is still functional). Go anywhere else.
Daniel was awesome! He not only looked for a matching rim for my ruined tire, but when he couldnt find one, he found another so similar for me that I can barely tell the difference. Plus he made sure it was the next truck out for delivery next day to the store for me. He went above and beyond the call of duty and was polite and mannerly while doing so! I never write reviews, nor would I have typically used Pep Boys (bad experience at ANOTHER location). Its easier to complain than to compliment, so heres one for the team. Had to go in to get some minor stuff taken care of. The Tech Robert Scotten whom was extremely knowledgeable and courteous (surprised to find this at a big box place.) was absolutely great. Daniel (didnt get his last name, so hope there isnt another one that sucks) whom rang me up was also surprisingly very helpful, courteous and did not make me feel like I was a burden being at the counter (the place was absolutely mobbed at the time). Looks like I will give this store a solid shot at being my local go to for repairs. I was very satisfied with my experience at (this particular) location. Great job, guys. Went to the Jupiter store last night after having my alternator go near their store. It was 740pm store was closing in 20 min. Maurice asked if I wanted to wait I was thinking you close soon, any how Maurice got my vehicle and fixed by 8:05. Amazing customer service by this young man.
Totally incompetent service department. They cant even install a simple battery properly. My mother had her battery replaced and the old terminal was too large in diameter, so they just let it sit on top where it made a connection some days and not others. They didnt even re-secure the battery either, but the manager said it was 8 months ago and he didnt like my attitude. I fixed it myself for $3.00 and 10 minutes of my time. This place is a joke.

I was unaware that some radios were not available in store. I was offered to have it ordered to the store, but unfortunately I live a few towns over and did not want to drive back and forth again. They really need a Pep Boys in Port Saint Lucie. The staff is very courteous and professional.

Very detailed oriented, was a total shocker. kudos gentlemen. oh, make sure you ask for their best mechanic, I wish I could remember his name, he had a phoney tail. again, beyond all expectations.
I guess I should have checked the reviews before making an appointment there. I made an appointment to have my oil changed and brakes looked at. The manager, Matt waited on me. I asked approximately how long the service would take. He told me 2 hours. I returned 2.5 hours later only to be told that the car hadnt even been put on the lift yet. I was told that they were very busy. What? Thats why I made an appointment! On their website, where you can make appointments it showed a block of time from 12noon until 5pm that was open to make an appointment. MIne was at 11am. So what is it? Do they put all of the walk ins before the appointments? Needless to say, I collected my keys and drove across the street to Eco Lube to at least have my oil changed. I noticed they did brakes as well. In less than 1 hour they did my rear brakes and my oil change. Very efficient, friendly and obviously managed well.
I’m a customer who likes to work on his own vehicle. Here recently, I’ve been having an issue with fuel management Eli has been wonderful assisting me thru my fix. There’s a auto zone, Advance Auto, NAPA and O’Reilly’s Auto within a mile of PEP Boys I choose PEPE Boys due to the service and Eli, he’s knowledgeable and simplifies the the process.Great work ELi, Thanks

Very helpful and nice employees and mechanics. Installed my rear signal lamp for me at no cost. Conveniently located next to Walmart so you can always go there while your car is being worked on. They even had free donuts and coffee in the front the day that I went. Not sure why. Maybe it was only for the 4th of July holiday. Found great price coupon for oil change online also!
Above & Beyond!I pulled out of Wal-Mart next door & heard thump, thump, thump, flat tire.I turned into Pep Boys, two minutes to close & Justin was so welcoming. He not only got me back on the road safely with a new tire but took time to explain my options & even added air to one that was low. It is rare & appreciated to be treated with value but especially by someone you know has had a long day & wants to go home. It is a great sign of Justins character & the quality of Customer care at this Pep Boys. Thank you so Much! !

Was there today and like them to mount 4 tires on my 2500 Silverado. Then they called me and told they are not able to take the wheels off because the truck is to heavy and they do not have a proper jack or lift to lift the truck. I take the wheels off with the bottle jack or a floor jack. And they sell floor jacks in the shop that easy lift this truck. I dont know whats wrong there.
I had an emergency tire bust and the service rep was very understanding and when I asked if we could replace all the tires for under $500, he said it was possible and honored that fully. I’m super pleased

If you are looking to pick up something routine and you arent in a hurry, you could do worse. Checking out here is a serious test of patience. Every time I come in, paying them takes longer than finding my items, even if there isnt a line. Staff clearly has no interest in getting you on your way quickly.

From Justins very professional phone mannerism and thorough tire expertise, to the Service Manager-Robert Nixon who was incredibly cool and honest. Robert kept his word on when my car would be ready and made the whole process very seamless. I have to say Bravo! to the team over there on Indiantown Road. I travel a bit and have used Pep Boys as my go-to car repair service when I dont have a dedicated mechanic. You should too! They currently have a buy 3 tires, get one free deal and many selections come with an additional rebate. This was a better deal than Goodyear and other competitors in the area. They did a phenominal job as my car is alligned with four new well-priced quality tires and is gliding now!

My son took his truck in last week for a tire rotation. We have the road hazard warranty. After 4 hours of waiting, he left without a rotation or why it was taking too long. This store needs to close its doors!,,,,,Also, look at the reviews with 5 stars. These are bogus reviews! Amazing how so many remember names of mechanics. I love the one about the girl whos car broke before her dogs surgery, really?

6/16/15 I was having trouble with my passenger door locking. Daniel an employee came to the parking lot then got tools and fixed my car door all with a smile. it was great doing business there. Kudos to Daniel!

My daughter took her car for an oil change and was told a $700 job was required to replace a faulty control arm. She had to evacuate due to Hurricane Matthew and brought the car home, where I took it to my local mechanic to look it over.Nothing at all was wrong with the car!Be warned if you are taking your car to this Pep Boys. They tried to take advantage and do an unneeded job!I hate it when auto repair shops are all about reaching sales goals over giving honest and good service. Will not be using my local Pep Boys where I live anymore either. The good news is I found a good honest local mechanic out of this.

Probably the worst store ever...Maurice at the service center wanted literally nothing to do with me...I felt like an inconvenience in asking for tires. Was told they werent in stock when he went and looked at maybe 5 tires... Was told they didnt match to the online price, was told no other store had these tires in stock. Continued to answer the phone while I spoke with him and kept walking off.Was incredibly rude the entire time. I actually had to say something to him about his attitude.I wasnt rude or disrespectful and he immediately came across like this was too much for him...(when paying a grand for tires you would think you would be nicer since I know you get commission on them)Another female staff was amazing she went to the back found the tires that just wasnt there before However they were took old..called another store and they got the tires and shipped them to me, and told him he could price match the online price. He still refused to do it said he had been working there for 5 years and knew what he was doing.Tires showed up he told me to come back at 230 and the tires would be put on so I came back was told it wouldnt even be done until 530-6PMI couldnt wait asked for an appt. was told it could be up to 3 hours to wait. Got my appt for the morning went in at 930, one of the tires was wrong, had to come back at 130..didnt even start working on my car until 2 PM took HOURS to change my tires...Seriously you guys have horrible customer service, Maurice doesnt seem like he has much desire to be working up there and is incredibly rude..I got my tires but thats it Im done and will never return...I bought the extended service and will go to the north lake store just in case something happens to not have to deal with him again.
