The drop off was seamless. I took a car one way here from OH. They guy was helpful and professional. He even saved me from leaving my car charger.

The gentleman at the centre was fine and polite. The car given to me was in good condition. However, AVIS customer service was a nightmare. Most outlets dont have after hour returns and I was given wrong instructions on phone when I called customer service with regards to my drop-off location. Highly unprofessional customer service staff who are impertinent and curt. I have never been bullied by a car rental company. They literally yell at you on phone. I have rented dozens of times from Enterprise, U-Haul, Hertz and never had this bad an experience.

Avoid Avis in Jupiter/Tequesta! I showed up to rent a car which I had a reservation. The Avis rep answered the door telling me they were closed and he wouldnβt help. No call, No email telling me to show up earlier since my reservation booked by Avis after they closed. Adding insult to injury, this Avis rep refusing to help, when the error was clearly on the part of Avis, speak volumes to their lack of customer service.FYI, Enterprise rental is just south of this location, so donβt bother with Avis Jupiter/Tequesta.

Renting cars is usually a pain in the butt! My experience with Avis was incredible they had the truck ready then I wanted and needed when I walked in all I had to do was give him my drivers license sign the paper and out the door I went! Definitely five stars all around customer service is very clean the cars were super clean I thank you very much for the great experience!

They have taken me in last minute after the Enterprise on Tony Penna screwed me multiple times. They are always accommodating & very quick and have even let me keep my Jeep at the location when needed. They are not necessarily conveniently located but they makeup for it thanks to how much quicker and reliable they are when compared to the Enterprise on Tony Penna. I am so thankful I have an alternative.Maria was a lifesaver during my last experience so I brought them in a dozen, well-deserved bagels. One tip: owner should update the printer! It reminds me of the 80s-90s.
Quick and easy
We were given a car that reaked of cigarette smoke and when we tried to return were told sorry only car we have! I had to call to other offices to find a replacement as the staff and owner were not willing to help out at all! Spent three hours finding a replacement and was not given ANY discount for our troubles even though the sign on the front door of the business said Cars are smoke free! Put in a call to the owner who NEVER called me back! Never going back and would never recommend to another!!!!!
Absolutely terrible. I reserved a car 2 days in advance AND prepaid for it. I showed up 15 minutes early to my scheduled appointment and was told there werent any cars. I had already dropped off my car for service so I literally had no options AND I was scheduled to go or of town, which was why I was renting a car to begin with. The counter help would do nothing but say it wasnt their fault and I had to call customer service. When I called customer service, I was sure to tell them that this location needs to be looked into. I will never rent from here again. If you need to have certainty that there will be a car available and you have no back - up options, do not rent from here. Terrible.
I travel quite often for work and Avis is normally my preferred vendor- that is with the exception of the Jupiter location. I recall Aviss ad slogan We try harder which is pathetic as this location seems to strive for the opposite. Try being stranded out of town having lost your wallet while on a business trip and reaching out to the branch manager with the message Can you please call me- Ive got an emergency and youll see what I mean. When I arrived at the location to return my rental (No thanks to this discourteous bunch), Im told Weve been very busy and when I told the manager your problem, he said there is nothing he could do. I sure wish corporate would take out the broom and do a clean sweep of this location.
I got a rental but it wasnβt the size I ordered. It smelled like smoke, had puke in the backseat, and had someone elseβs trash in it. They gave me $20 for it. This was a 5 day rental.
If I could give less than one star I would. I reserved a car only to hear they didnt actually have ANY car for me or the many customers who came in while I was stranded there (I had paid for an Uber to get me there). They didnt have the decency to call me or anyone else! Horrible experience. Will NEVER go back.
