Luciano has been a barber for 60 years. He placed 3rd in a competition of 700 barbers from all over the world. He is a gentleman. The owner is a good guy. I walked right in and was able to sit down. A younger kid cut my hair. The haircut result was pretty good except he took for-ev-er. Think I clocked it at an hour and 10 minutes! By far, the longest haircut of my life. Plus he barely spoke a word (Granted I was talking to the owner most of the time). Dont believe I heard a thank you, even after leaving a pretty generous tip. Ill assume hes new. If not, hes got to go lol

The Square has a GREAT local produce store, Rosettas and a hidden gem of a Mexican restaurant. Getting into the plaza can be a little trying at timez due to the cars attempting to get gas at Sonoco. Ive never tried the pizza shop but I will as I have heard its great.
