Carls A/C recently completed (2) A/C system installs for single family homes I own in North Palm Beach. Prior to this they have provided maintenance and service for a number of years. I dont call anyone else..the level of service is top notch.. services are priced reasonably and scheduled promptly, service/installation techs are courteous, very skilled, and take extreme care in prep and cleanup. If you want it done right these are the folks to call.

I have found a very dependable, reliable, positive and honest ac unit in Jupiter Florida. Cam home I noticed my house is warm. The ac unit is running but no cold air blowing out. I call Carl. No answer but I texthim. He called me back. I told him my ac fan is not spinning. Carl told me what to do, by removing the panel and hit a reset button. Woallla, the fan is spinning again. I offered to mail in a check for Carl but he politely turned it down. What an honest man. Any other ac company would come out and charge lots of $ or suggyou to get a new ac unit. Thank you Carl. All I can say is WOW. I was stunned at how efficient, friendly and thorough this business is. They were out at 0800 to troubleshoot and repair issue less than 1 hour after initial contact. All work was done in less than an hour. It was time for my 15 year old air conditioner to be replaced. I called 5 different companies and decided to use Carls. I was extremely impressed with the presentation and detail of Carls estimate and the reviews. Carl, also, was one of the few who wanted to make sure I had enough return ducts in my home. Taking the detail and presentation of the estimate into consideration, I decided to hire Carls for my new AC. I am extremely impressed with the detail of their work, their responsiveness, and sharing their knowledge with me. I will be using them for many more years.

Unfortunately he had to make a second call because there was an additional issue with the washing machine. I do think it could have been resolved in the first visit, saving me some money. But he did fix it and gave me a small discount. I have had bad experiences with other appliance services in the area, so I am happy to stick with one that does things right. Would recommend.*I had to edit this review. I called Carl for my Air Conditioning because hed done a great job on the washing machine. It wasnt him this time, but one of his contractors.The contractor cleared the drainage lines, but seemed pretty unsure of the fix and made sure to call back later to make sure it was still working. It was, but the fix then only lasted about 24 hours before the AC stopped working and started leaking again.The reason I would even edit a review is because the cause eventually turned out to be something that seems so obvious, I question how it could have been missed. I know nothing about AC, but figured it out in about 15 minutes of messing around (which I would not recommend, but I was frustrated).The drainage line was clear, but the line between the AC unit and the pump was completely clogged. A huge disgusting explosion of black mold.And this PVC pipe is right next to the drainage pipe, how could they have not considered it might be clogged too?Anyway, I wouldnt discourage someone from using Carls. Just make absolutely sure any contractor is sure of their work, and dont be afraid to question it.

They did a great job installing a new a/c in one of our houses. The service was excellent, they were professional and reasonably priced. We would highly recommend.

My mother called them out in June 2019 to fix 3 year old 5 tn AC. They add Freon, and stated AC will take 3 to 5 days for house to get cool( really). After a day call them again, AC not cooling enough, they add more Freon and claimed they flush the unit. AC starts to cool right away after they add more Freon. Currently, AC stop working(7/17/19) they did not flush the unit, (lied they flush) water back up in the line, which cut the AC off. Will not use them again. They seems to don’t know what they are doing or just dishonest.

I tried to get a quote from Carl and he was extremely rude. Said I should only get 1 quote. It is not up to him how many quotes I get.

OK...I admit that I have a rep of giving contractors a hard time. Never satisfied, and demanding...right? But Carls was so thorough and on top of this install, that I never had a chance. WOW! Great product and the craftsmanship was excellent...a word I never use. He went over everything with a F.I.N.E. tooth comb...replacing all the lines, and even old fuse switches. What? Carl was recommended by a neighbor who owns several rental properties and knows good service. Our dryer broke on a Saturday. I called and Carl diagnosed, we discussed repair or get a new one. We decided to repair. A part was ordered on Monday, and by Tuesday we were up and running. Everyone we dealt with (from Carl to Tom and Phil was terrific. Very professional. I have used Carls services for at least 7 or 8 years. He is always timely, courteous, effective and cost friendly in addressing my repair needs. He has worked on almost every appliance in my house (washer, dryer, fridge, water heater, dishwasher, etc.). He will give honest advice about the cost benefit analysis of a repair, which some times results in him not getting a repair job. Recently had him redo my entire AC system including all ductwork. I could not be happier with the outcome and his follow up to make sure that everything worked perfectly. I recommend Carl to friends and family all the time.

If youre like me, finding an AC contractor ranks right up there with going to the dentist. A few weeks ago, I awoke in a sweat at 2am and realized that my 13 year old AC had gone on permanent vacation. I called Carls and the very next morning, Carl himself appeared at my place at 8:30am ON A SATURDAY! He quickly diagnosed the issue and told me that the fan motor outside had died and that a replacement runs about $400. I knew I wasnt about to throw that kind of money at a 13 year old unit and to complicate matters, I was about to leave for a week long business trip the following day. Carl then said Heres what Ill do for you. I will replace your broken motor AT NO CHARGE with a loaner which will keep your place cool until you get home. My jaw dropped as I dont remember the last time someone offered to go above and beyond like that- I realized that this company has ethics and truly cared. While I was away on my trip, I asked him if he would need any kind of deposit to pull my permit and order my equipment and his reply was We dont need that- youre good for it, arent you? When was the last time someone you just met gave you the benefit of the doubt like that? I returned home and within a day, they had a new Trane system installed and I can happily say that my place is at 74 while its 92 outside. I should mention that he also sent 3 techs out to knock out the job as quickly as possible and they were all as friendly and professional as they come- It is without hesitation that I fully recommend Carls AC & Appliance.

We recently had to replace our AC unit and were fortunate that friends recommended Carl’s AC & Appliance Service. We contacted several companies for quotes and found most of them asked very few questions and then provided quotes based on the tonnage of the existing system. Right from the start it was apparent that Carl’s goal was to meet the needs of the customer, not to just sell us an AC system. Carl took time to explore our environment and asked us questions to assess the comfort level for every room in the house. Carl’s AC were the only company who observed that we had made many changes to the house since the last AC was installed, so recommended we have a load calculation done to ensure the AC tonnage would be accurate. As replacing an AC is a very expensive purchase we asked many questions and Carl took his time to educate us on the features, as well as purchase versus potential maintenance costs, of single and variable speed AC handlers and compressors. I have used Carls for my air conditioning and appliance service for several years. I have found him to do quality work at a fair price in a very timely manner. Also, he is very HONEST. He will not try to sell you services you do not need. The story I tell friends when recommending Carl is the time our washer/dryer unit was not working properly. After identifying the problem he said we could fix the problem for several hundred dollars, but it was probably smarter to replace the unit. He passed up a repair charge because it was in our best interest to buy a new unit. He even suggested a make that he has found to have few service problems.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Carl on my sub-zero side by side refrigerator. When I called he answered right away. I explained that there was a huge ice formation in the freezer section and that water was still dripping ... He said Ill be there in 30 minutes . And within 30 minutes if not sooner he arrived . He quickly determined the problem which was a bad water valve . He promptly shut off the water to the ice maker under my sink area . And while still there he called the manufacturer and ordered the part . Since we have moved to the Jupiter area over 5 years ago Carl has been who we call for all of our AC service. When moving into a town home on the water I was blessed to find Carl......I suffer from severe headaches from molds, moisture, smoke..etc. Carl recommended a REME air purifier to be installed into unit...it was a life saver!!! Since the town home we bought a home and I started getting headaches.... Hello neighbors. We unfortunately had an 85 degree house this weekend when one of our a/c units broke. Our normal guy was out of town so we called 3 other companies and none could come out on a Sunday!! We were desperate and my kids were roasting. I was recommended one more company.
