Edwards Air was on-time and there was an almost immediate improvement in my air-conditioning. Lucas spent more than 45 minutes on the roof inspecting/working on my ac, showed me photos and discussed options for the near future to keep my AC running clean and efficient without the sales hype. I needed a good company and Edwards Air seemed to come through for me. Thank you Lucas and, of course, Missy, who set up my initial appointment.

From start to finish, its been a pleasure dealing with Edwards Air.Ed, who first came out to speak with us, was pleasant and knowledgeable. And best of all, not pushy! At no time did we feel like he was just trying to make a sale or bombard us with technical jargon. He addressed our real concerns and gave us real options for solutions.The installers, OBrien and Islet, were just as good. They knew their business and took pride in both their work and their interactions with us.Ed was there for key parts of the installation as well. Watching the teamwork as they worked together only added to my confidence. We are very happy with the service they provided and will be working with them for any future A/C needs.

Everything about Edwards AC is great! We called him when our AC went out and mentioned we had dogs in the house. He came over same day in hope to just get our air running before getting a whole new system! We ended up going with this company for our AC AND ducting and we could not be happier with the decision. Though it always hurts having to do house maintenance and it wasnt something we were super excited for, these guys made it easier for us with the convenient financing option. The service was fast, reliable, quality is great, and there are no hidden fees or surprises. The communication while the joba being done is great as well! We will be recommending Edwards air to anyone that has an AC problem!

UPDATE and reply to Edward’s’ response:The reason there was hair on the coil 3 years ago was because your installers told us to get filters that were 1/2 inch too short - which we did. It was only when the repair person came and told us about that problem. However, there was no hair on the coil last month when your guy came - and wanted to charge us $695. We had another company come the same day who told us that there was no hair on the coil, and that the handler unit was improperly installed. His cost - $0. He also mentioned that a second pan and float switch should always be installed under the handler unit. We also had a general contractor over that said the same thing. Edwards never told us anything about that. Our report from the new company reflects the reason for the constant leaking - which is a result of the improper installation of the handler unit and the fact that there is no secondary pan and float switch. Our insurance company is on it and will go after Edward’s to recoup the money they are going to pay us for our new flooring. Do not use this company. They do not stand behind their work.I had a new Trane unit installed 3 years ago that has caused nothing but problems. Water leaks from the air handler unit every few months and has ruined my flooring. Now there is mildew under my flooring. I change the filter every 20-30 days and can’t figure out why the water pours out. The company wants to put the blame on us but we have done nothing. Even a technician from their company suggested that the pan or line was improperly installed so that the water flows back instead of out. I would not use this company.

I’m giving Edwards Air a 5 star rating. I moved into a huge two story house that had two AC units and the first week the house was so hot . It was running like 80 degrees all day. Ed came right out and fixed the bottom unit that night to cool down the house . We ended up getting a new unit for upstairs and literally is so nice and cold in my house that I don’t even run the bottom unit anymore. Also, he suggested this ultraviolet light that collects germs and dust from the outgoing air omg my house is dust free. I will use this company for all my AC needs. I highly recommend Edwards Air.

Weve used Edwards Air, including the purchase of four units and regular maintenance, for a decade and have developed confidence in their capabilities. The owner and technicians seem knowledgeable and are personable, with Jim being the latest one to perform good work for us. While their prices dont strike me as particularly economical, I realize that air conditioning sales, repairs, and maintenance is a field that is often costly. Weve decided thus far to stick with Edwards Air because we believe they deal honestly and work skillfully for us. We appreciate their responsiveness when there is an issue needing prompt resolution.

The representative was very comprehensive in explaining everything he was doing and why. He spoke in plain English and was very easy to interact with. There was no pressure to sign up for additional services or anything like that. He offered the information on what his company provides and how they work but I never felt like he was attempting to use fear tactics to sell something. Very happy with the experience.

Our 9 y/o AC died in the middle of the summer. We did asked for couple of offers for a new one and Edwards air was the most cost effective. Also they new our setup because they have installed the previous one. They did an excellent job, replacing and then correcting some little technical issues with the condensation line. They even replaced the UV light that was left behind in the old unit, for free.!Excellent people and service from the front desk all the way to the maintenance manager, who came personally to check out and fine tune the system. Highly recommend them for all AC businesses in South Florida.

My A/C stopped working on Fathers day (Sunday) in the afternoon. I called Edwards, who quoted $185.00 to come out. I was told I would get a quote before any work commenced and I agreed.Coincidentally, just as the technician arrived, the A/C began working again on its own.The technician said it was as he suspected that the condensate drain was clogged. No quote was given.I set up my own ladder to give him access to the air handler, he blew it out with nitrogen, perhaps 10 minutes of work? He also took a look at the outside A/C unit which was working just fine at this time.He then presented me with an invoice for $370.00 dollars!!.I protested, he discounted it to $280.00.If you live in Florida, A/C is not a luxury item, it is in fact a life sustaining necessity. To knowingly take advantage of people in need of this service regardless of time of day or day of week, borders on nefarious.I will not use this company ever again.

Being new to the south florida heat. Finding a decent company with out the hassle free is hard especially being new to all this.. My a.c went out! Worst experience ever paid over $6000 for a brand new system added installed in the house one issue after another technicians in my house more than once a month for the 1st 13 months spend another $1500 for more stuff that they say that we needed and we still have problems if you know whats good for you a do not use Edwards air in Jupiter Florida Had a technician out because it was broken again just a week ago then they had the nerve to send me a bill for $95 even though I spent $1100 for a 10 year warranty

Called the company to come out and replace a fan motor in the outside condensation unit. A very nice gentleman came out and looked at the unit and said the fan motor needed replacing and he would call it in and get back to me with a price. Later he called me and said the price would be $1000. I asked if that was reasonable since I googled the cost of an OEM Carrier motor and it was $160. Assuming the repair time was an hour, the company was charging $840/hour for an AC technicians time. I dont think Brain Surgeons get paid that hourly rate. Also, you could buy a brand new condensation unit for about $1000. If your hard earned money is important to you, dont throw it away on these crooks!

Warning: They wont uphold the 10 year warranty. Try to charge you for Freon that is covered under parts and labor.I find it very odd that Edwards air would say that the A/C system needs 6lbs of Freon when it only calls for 4.8 lbs. on the units label as per Rheem.It appears that Edwards Air does not want to uphold the warranty that I purchased and they hold a bond with from the State of Florida.I have tried to explain that parts and labor were checked on my sales contract to the owner or other managers for Edwards Air… but all of my calls have gone unanswered as of today.Edwards Air’s current website indicates “NO REFIGERANT (Freon) CHARGE” for their extended warranties.

My AC decided to quit on me Friday night at 7 PM After trying different suggestions I finally decided to call an AC service preferably in Jupiter. I googled service in Jupiter and several came up and I noticed Edwards Air had a real nice site and they were emphasizing honest pricing so I gave them a shot. Mitsy answered (I expected a VM) and she was out and about at 9 PM. She called her tech Allen who lives in Port St Lucie and then got back with me but said he couldnt come until 8 AM Saturday. I had no choice but it was late. 15 minutes later, se called me again and said Allen was on his way. He arrived around 10:30 PM.When he took apart he noticed unfortunately a major leak in my coil sending oil all over. He said that was one hard to find and would take a week to get and it would be $2000. He tried all different options to no avail as I watched. He then said I could have a new one tomorrow installed. My unit was 12 years old so I thought that would be the wisest choice.He got on the phone with the owner which I thought was also impressive since it was close to midnight and they gave me 3 price options. I chose the least expensive one. This was a Trane which Allen thought was the best one for my home. Saturday morning 3 guys came out to install the new unit. One of them was in the Keys Friday night and the owner asked him if he would mine coming back and install Saturday morning. Also the unit was at Trane and they usually arent open on saturday but they made the exception.Even though I now have a major expense, this unit is amazing. Allen kept texting me Saturday to see how things were going and he also explained to me Friday night about how to run an AC that I never new. He left about 12:30 AMAllen was a very smart technician and he was also very friendly and didnt rush to leave. Even today Monday we still communicate and he replies very quicklyMitzy was a great dispatcher and I think Edwards Air has customer service like no other in Jupiter. Without question I would highly recommend them especially for continued service. You can really trust them 100% and they all seemed to go out of their way to get me AC as quickly as possibleRon- Abacoa - Jupiter

Totally ripped me off! Admittedly I’m a fool too. I bought a new Trane air conditioner when I bought my home as the old unit was shot. Within 2 months the A/C stopped cooling and it was summer. The tech with Edwards came out and after checking things out said I was out of Freon. I said but this is a new unit. He said it was with never installed or it was stolen. He filled it and said he put a lock on it. I said that doesn’t make sense but that’s the explanation. Another problem (purportedly) was the computer which continued to malfunction until it was replaced. To make a long sad story shorter, let me just say that for 4 years, every year, they continued to add Freon and of course I was charged after the first visit. Finally in the 5th year one of the tech repair people said it has plenty of Freon it’s a faulty valve. Meantime I had another company come out who agreed it was out and charged me over $400 to fill it. Yikes! I have a new AC company but warning!

Had this company come to my house yesterday because when I got home our AC wasnt working. I called my usual company and they said they couldnt get out to me till 2am and pushed me into waiting untill Monday. So I called Edwards Air around 7pm and they were able to get someone to my house by 8pm. They were extremely polite, the person that I spoke to lead me through what i needed to do to be prepared for the Tech. The tech lead me through what was wrong and what he would need to do, and I was up and running within 30 mins. I highly recommend this company. And they were extremely reasonable with price, the other company kept pushing me to allow a sales person instead come to my house which is another reason I decided to try another company.

We hired Edwards AC to install a high efficiency Train AC unit and an APCO dual DETOX air cleaner and we were very pleased with their overall effort.Our AC unit went out 2 days before the 4th of July weekend. I contacted Edwards AC and they were out the next day to install the new AC so we had AC over the weekend of the 4th. The owner of Edwards AC showed up the morning of the installation to make certain everything was going well. I was also impressed that the person that sold us the unit and expedited the installation (Merrill) showed up with the installers so there was no misunderstanding as to what we were promised.Jonathan came out on July 5th to clean the drain and do the final checkup/tune-up to make sure that the AC unit was cooling properly. We were impressed with his work ethic and attention to detail during the final tune-up. We also purchased the APCO dual system air purifier which he installed at a later date. We were very pleased with our overall experience with Edwards AC and the detailed knowledge that Jonathan had regarding the operation of the AC unit and the APCO system. I plan to use them in the future for regular AC maintenance.

I just cant praise Edwards Air enough for taking care of me. It was about 8pm and my AC wouldnt stay on, I am not one for sleeping in the muggy heat, so I called Edwards Air and explained my problem and they were at my house in 15 mins to see what was wrong. The Tech was super nice & knowledgeable,. he fixed my problem and had me back up and running cold in 20 mins. I cant say enough about how great they are. Thank you!!!
