Mr. Brooks has been cutting my son’s hair since his second cut. The first time we went, my son was nervous. Mr. Brooks put his mind at ease, he was able to relax. And now, my son loves Mr. Brooks! He climbs right in the chair and sits very patiently while he gets his hair cut. And he can’t wait to show off his new cut every time he leaves! Mr. Brooks is patient with him, and all of the children. The barber shop atmosphere is friendly and fun. Best barber shop ever!

I have been there a few times. Hes a nice person, but he only barber there. I try to call to make an appointment hes either busy or not there and says he will call you back, but never does. When I call back thinking maybe he forgot he never answers the phone. Guess Ill have to continue go to Chicago Heights to get my boys hair cut.

He was so patient and made my son comfortable! He was able to get my son to sit in the chair by himself for the first time without crying or anything! 😭 I was in disbelief, Brooks is amazing & he did SUCH a good job!

Great customer service. He greets you as soon as you walk in with open and welcoming arms. He has the best BARBERSHOP in the Chicago area! It is forsurly a mans cave and enjoyable to be around. Get barber! Great place for kid haircuts because Mr. Brook has an XBox, which the kids & men love. LOL! If you have an appt, he will get you in and out, fairly quick.

Literally have know Brooks since I was a child. Always knew he cut hair and always heard great things about his work! Used to go to a different barber in the Joliet area for years. After moving back to Joliet from Texas I was desperate to find another great barber because the one I had before moved. Thank goodness for Brooks! He literally gave me the cut I’ve been wanting since I moved to Texas and couldn’t find a good barber to do. It was literally just a simple fade. Hands down one of THE best barbers to have work on your head! Super friendly and great atmosphere every single time I go! I will not let anyone touch my head now...lol 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💯💯💯

Brooks barbershop, I call and booked a appointment, went in and got a great hair cut Im a 360 waver and he cut my hair just like I like it and he have good prices to all my wavers check him out you will be well pleased.

I visited Brooks on-line in search for a barber near Plainfield after learning my existing barber was hospitalized. I typically drive North of Plainfield, but thought I would do a search in Joliet when I noticed great reviews for Brooks. I dropped in and was greeted by the owner. There was no opening, but I was told I could come back later so I made an appointment. Brooks asked me my name and gave me his business card as I was leaving. I returned 10-12 minutes before my appointment in the event he was running ahead of schedule. Again I was politely greeted as I walked thru the door. As I sat waiting I noticed Brooks personally greeting each and every client as they arrived. His appreciation for his clients was not by accident. To my surprise the owner asked me to the barber chair approximately 5 minutes of my appointment time. I showed him a hair-cut photo on my cell. Less than 45 minutes later he was done. I checked my cut in the hand mirror and was pleased. Also surprisingly was his prices; considerably lower than all my barbers up North. I gladly paid and tipped him. Brook’s was polite, prompt and proficient. I will definitely be back.

This guys is ok if you want really short hair my husband whent to this guy last week ask just for a trim and end up wht short hair. The barber talks to much wht other ppl thats allot of waiste of time 2hrs. I would not recomend him if you want your hair to look good. (theres a diferent types of hair and this guy knows nothing idk how is he still in bussines)
